Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, has surrendered to security agents and is currently being interrogated at Police Force CID Headquarters in Abuja over rape allegations made by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo.

Fatoyinbo is being interviewed by a team of 4 led by Asst Commissioner of Police, Adaku Uche Anya.

Fatoyinbo is expected to be at the division for a while since Dakolo’s questioning was said to have taken about eight hours.

Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ edition housemate, Venita has expressed fear over possible eviction this week.

Venita was nominated for eviction alongside Frodd, Esther, Tacha, Cindy and Sir Dee.

The housemates were nominated after an arena game challenge between two groups, the Enigma and the Legends which had the former emerge as winner.

The two groups were told to move cotton balls to a plate using a spoon. The group with the most cotton balls in their plate emerged winner.

Ike who has the Veto power saved Omashola and replaced him with Cindy.

Venita speaking to Seyi and Elozonam after arena challenge said she is scared of eviction on Sunday and the reality outside the house.

“I’m afraid of reality, eviction is scary in this house.

“I don’t know what people outside think about me. Emotionally I’m not stable and I feel so tensed.

“I believe more than one housemate is leaving this Sunday but If Africa decides to save me I would understand that a lot is on my shoulder,” Venita said.

Big Brother Niaja, ‘Pepper Dem’ edition housemate, Tacha has promised to be on a good behavior henceforth in the reality show.

Tacha made the promise on Monday while speaking to Sir Dee following strikes issued her by Big Brother.

Recall, Biggie on Sunday evening issued Tacha a second strike for disobeying BBNaija rules and undermining authorities.

Big Brother had gathered the housemates in the lounge and played several videos of Tacha’s disrespect to Ebuka and fellow housemates.

While warning her, he said, “a last strike will get you disqualified from the reality show.”

Tacha who seemed to be remorseful about her second strike told Sir Dee on Monday evening that she feels she has been optimistic in a wrong way and would henceforth turn a new leaf.

She said: “I know my flaws, I know my transgressions, I am human and I am sorry if I hurt anyone.

“I’ve been so optimistic maybe in a rude way, that’s an irresistible part of me. I will limit my BRAVERY, chain my pride and strength.”

EFCC Arrests 33 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Imo State

Thirty three suspected internet fraudsters were on Monday August 26 2019, arrested at their hideout in an early morning operation by Operatives of the Abuja and Enugu Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Owerri, Imo State.

The suspects are Clinton Emere, Obinna Okonkwo, Ogochukwu Ogbonna, Joseph Udom Kousin, Prince Ewunone, Franklin Michael, Tolli Ameiche, Anderson, Berthel, David Franklin, Aboi Etealu, Chinubu Nwosu, Marizu Chidiebere, Dominic Terry Joseph, Christopher Nwosu, Peter Gift Uche, Edinalo Ifeanyichukwu , Ndubuisi Ikenna, John Frank, Anowe Precious, Joseph Levi Chima, Samuel Oria, Tochi Mmerom, Chimezia Cleansman, Okonkwo Obinna, Uchendu Gift, Nkwodi Nnamdi, Izywa Munachi, Ekone Aniche, Opara Donald, Aniche Tochukwu, Anelka Okon and Ebizien Franklin Udochukwu.

Items recovered from them include laptop computers, mobile phones, 2 Lexus RX350 SUV and a Toyota Solara salon car.

The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.

Big Brother Naija evicted housemate, Gedoni, has given reasons for celebrating, after he was evicted from the TV show.

Recall that after Gedoni was evicted, he had said “Thank you” immediately Ebuka mentioned his name for eviction.

This, however, did not go down well with Khafi, as she broke down in uncontrollable tears and was comforted by Tacha, Mike and other housemates.

Reacting on Monday, Gedoni on his Twitter page said he had decided to thank God whether he was evicted or not.

He said, “I knelt down in thanks because I had decided to thank God if evicted or saved.”

Meanwhile, Gedoni also denied having sex with Khafi.

According to him, Khafi has been celibate for eight years, we never had sex.”

Enyimba FC player, Stephen Chukwude was spotted in a viral video being harassed by a policeman because he owns a Mercedes Benz.

Chukwude was heard asking the police officer what else he wanted after showing him his I.D card and also opening his car’s boot which all confirmed he is a footballer. However the policeman countered his statement by alleging that any youth who owns and drives a Mercedes Benz is a yahoo boy (internet fraudster).

This all happened before the police officer started dragging the footballer’s phone after noticing he was being filmed.

Reacting to the recent arrest of 77 Nigerians by the FBI, Jidenna said Nigerians are smarter than a lot of people, hence the reason why they excel in sports and other sphere of life including scamming.

Speaking during an interview on the Breakfast Club, Jidenna said: ‘ I don’t scam na. But yes, I have done a lot of things, I used to sell chains in China Town. Popular Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo has revealed that she stopped going to church because she does not understand what Christianity is all about.

The Kwese TV presenter admitted believing in the existence of God and Jesus Christ but stated that Christianity is complex as there are so many contradictory dogmas and sects within the Christendom.

“I used to attend church when i was young, i would follow my mum to church but as i grow up, i stopped attending church because I don’t really understand what this religion is all about” she said.

Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, has reacted to the trending photo of him posing with Jerry Ikogho, who was recently arrested by the United States of America Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for allegedly committing online fraud.

Ikogho was among the 77 Nigerians arrested last week for online fraud. He is number three on the 77-man list.

Nigerians trolled Keyamo on Twitter after photos of himself and the Ikogho surfaced online.

However, in an interview with The Cable, Keyamo said himself and Ikogho were both born in Ughelli, Delta state, and grew up as friends. According to him, the picture was taken in 2011 at the burial of the father of one of the two other men who appeared in the picture.

The senior advocate said the suspect is from “a decent home” and hoped the FBI got their facts right.

“He is my childhood friend. We were born in the same town (Ughelli). We attended same church from birth. His parents and mine, best of friends, till tomorrow. His siblings and mine too. Only left for the US about 10-12 years ago. Can’t deny him. It’s a family relationship from birth. He’s from a decent family. Hope they got their facts right. The wife has sent the charge to me.

The authorities clearly stated that he may not have known of the fraudulent schemes but he helped one or two of them to transfer funds illegally for a fee. And he didn’t declare excess money at the airport. Wish him well.

“In fact that picture is even at the burial of the father of the guy on the far right about 8 years ago. The guy is in the same childhood group like all of us. Likewise the guy on the far left, a lawyer, who died at the National Hospital here in Abuja about 5 years ago” Keyamo said

I went shopping & out a lot & took lots of photos with my beautiful fans – Selfies Only of course & never felt the need to cover up or hide anything- And why should I? Do you know the struggle a lot of women go through to get what I have? A Free Gift from God! And you think at 35 I ought to feel some type of way because someone has an unsolicited opinion about me? Ha Ha Ha… Silence is NOT denial.

My silence was just that: Silence- until I was ready to speak about it.

Men of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad, RRS, have arrested two suspected thieves, Saidu Atiku and one other who specialized in vandalizing vehicles and stealing their brain boxes.

The suspects, Sodiq Musa, 28 and Saidu Atiku, 34, were arrested at Ikeja with three Toyota vehicle brain boxes while Ridwan Adamu escaped with the fourth box. One of the suspects, Sodiq claimed he was a graduate of Political Science from one of the Nigerian Universities before coming to Lagos in 2017 in search of greener pasture.

“I worked in Lagos as a barbecue man in various hotels and event centres before I met Ridwan who introduced me to brain box theft. We use ‘magic stone,’ that is, vehicle spark plug to break vehicle windows without attracting attention.

It takes two minutes to loose a Toyota Hiace bus brain box and it takes four minutes to lose a Toyota Hilux box. The spark plug reduces the noise and effects and can quickly break of any vehicle’s window and we tie the plug in a handkerchief in a situation where we have multiple vehicles to work on,” he said.

“We specialised in stealing Toyota brain boxes because they fetch good money in the market. The demand for them are higher than any other brand. For example we sold a Toyota Hiace bus for N40,000 while that of Toyota Hilux goes for N20,000 respectively”.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Zubairu Muazu, in his reaction to the incident directed the transfer of the case to State CID, Panti.

An Ivorian pastor has declared that God has appointed him to resurrect deceased Ivorian DJ and Singer, DJ Arafat.

According to the pastor identified as Koffi Duchrist, he can resurrect DJ Arafat but on the condition that he gets permission from the biological family of Arafat and Minister Hameb Bakayoko, who is Arafat’s godfather.

He added that some forces in the music industry who don’t want DJ Arafat to be resurrected but God has declared and he will revive him.

“God told me to do this live and wait for a period of 5 days, that is to say by Friday at the latest, that I get in touch with the family of Dj Arafat.

If the family of Dj Arafat calls me at once I will leave and whatever the number of formol they put in the body of Arafat, the Lord Jesus will resurrect it.

DJ Arafat originally known as Ange Didier Houon was an Ivorian DJ and music star who has several hit songs to his credit.

On 11th August, DJ Arafat was involved in a terrible motorcycle accident at Abidjan and was rushed to the hospital.

He passed away on 12th August 2019 after he suffered a skull fracture.

Nigerian music star, Rema got a spot in former US President, Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist with his hit song ‘Iron man’.

Mavin Record’s signeee, Rema, made Barack Obama’s 2019 Sure Playlist with his song, ‘Iron Man.’

The former US President shared the list on his twitter handle @BarackObama on Saturday.

He shared a list of 44 songs he and his wife, Michelle, were bopping to this summer and Rema was number 42.

He wrote, “With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy.”

Other international stars on the playlist include Drake, who occupies No 1, Jay Z, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Frank Sinatra, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, and Robin Thicke amongst others.

Rema is a fast rising Nigerian hip hop rapper, Afrobeat singer, songwriter, stage performer, recording artist and a model currently signed by both Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and D’Prince’s Jonzing World.

Rema’s prominent singles ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Dumebi’ are currently topping charts around the world.

Georgina Onuoha is taking her war against Nigerians giving the country a bad name to another level.

The US-Based Actress, shared her prayer for Slay Queens and Slay Thieves in a rejoinder comment to a statement she shared earlier on the arrest of 77 Nigerians by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

In a new post she shared, Georgina Onuoha stated that the FBI keeps tabs on all posts shared by Slay Queens and Slay Thieves on social media. .

Georgina prayed that people who derive joy in defrauding innocent people will also be served same when apprehended. She wrote;

Note to all the Slay Queens/Slay thieves: As you display your ill gotten wealth on social media, just remember that Uncle FBI is keeping a tab on you. So please continue ??. As you fly around Europe and the globe, just remember they The the information of your grant grandma village is with the US government. Your next door neighbor even in your village might just be an under cover agent tracking you. So please continue and we pray they arrest you all and house clean our society.

To every hand working man or woman in Nigeria and diaspora, you labor is valid. Keep doing your best.. There is dignity in hard labor. You can go to bed at night and sleep well.

I weep for the moral depression consuming our society. The quest to show off, flaunt childish nonsense and impress miscreants leads you no where other than shame and pain.

To all the Slay Queens and Slay thieves living beyond tyour means and putting our impressionable youths under pressure, your day of reckoning is at hand. Interpol is watching. Continue your shameless thievery. We now live in a society where mothers don’t question their sons and daughters about their sudden wealth, a society where women don’t ask their spouses what they do?

Children can’t speak to the conscience of their parents, pastors preach prosperity and not salvation from their pulpit, Politicians embezzle funds meant to develop their communities and uplift their next generation, a society where teenage girls marry their ancestors because of riches. The moral decadence ravaging our country is palpable.

If your joy is to take a clandestine approach to defraud innocent people, so shall clandestine measures be used to apprehend you. God bless all giving their utmost best to live a decent life. Integrity over money any day.
