Big Brother Pepper Dem Housemate, Tuoyo Ideh had an emotional moment during last Night’s games after he failed to complete the task.
The failure to do this made Tuoyo sob uncontrollably after recording the lowest time in completing a task the housemates were given by Biggie.
The tears stemmed from knowing that he is up for possible eviction this week, alongside Mike, Seyi, Frodd and Tacha. However Tuoyo wasn’t alone through it all, as some of the housemates came to console him.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has on her Instagram page, while celebrating her colleague, Kate Hensaw on her 48th birthday, taken a long walk down memory lane as she recounted their first meeting in 1997.
According to the mother of twins, she first met Kate Henshaw on set of classic movie, ‘Naked Wire’ which was also her first experience before the camera.
She revealed how Kate Henshaw upheld her when she seemed nervous while acting – she also shared how she couldn’t get food even though she was quite hungry, until Kate stepped in.

DMW Singer, Peruzzi has recounted on how hard it was for him to believe that his distant cousin, Chioma was dating Davido, as he talked about how his relationship with the DMW boss began.
According to the singer, he first got news of Chioma dating Davido after his mother’s burial which was also when he noticed that Davido was always supporting his songs and brand on his social media platform.
He said,
“After my mother’s burial; I was going home and someone sent me a message on Twitter, commending my song. The person asked if I remembered her. After she explained who she was, I remembered her. She told me Davido sent my song to her. I didn’t believe it. She further told me that they were dating and she is like my distant cousin, so I didn’t even see it coming.
“I felt like how can she be dating Davido and I wouldn’t know since. She was able to convince me after she sent me some pictures; she told me he was going to be around the next day. She invited me to his welcome party and I went there around 2 am at Club 57.
“Once Davido entered with his entourage, I was scared. He was facing me, but I didn’t know what to do. I moved to see him carefully. He looked at me and called my name. I was happy and I held him. He told me he loved my songs and that I should come to his house. That was the best night of my life. I sent Chioma a text; that I was with him.
“I couldn’t sleep that night because I was too excited. She (Chioma) is my mother’s cousin’s daughter. But she is my cousin; that is how we refer to each other. I don’t have a proper contract with Davido; he is my guy so I am not worried about that. Some people have lived with him for years without any contract.”
Speaking on how he felt after he was insulted for wearing Davido’s clothes, Peruzzi told Saturday Beats;
“How would you see something you like and you can’t tell your male friend that you like it? I told him I liked an outfit and he gave it to me. I have come to realise that no matter what I do, people would talk. I don’t let it get to me.”
He also talked about selling his car to buy some drugs for his ailing mother before she died, and completing his degree in medicine and surgery;
“When we realised my mother was diagnosed with cancer; I had to put my car on auction immediately. I wanted to quickly send money to people to help me get the drugs she needed. I could only get the drugs from India but they still didn’t work. I still see myself going back to complete my degree in medicine and surgery but I don’t see myself sitting in the hospital.”
A 15-year-old girl identified as Blessing, is currently nursing a baby which came from the incestous relationship her 35-year-old brother Frederick initiated when she was 13.
The repeated sexual abuse by her brother came to light, after she delivered a baby girl at Stella Obasanjo Hospital, in Edo State. Her brother reportedly took the baby away from her and abandoned her at a refuse dump, claiming afterwards that she was dead.
Frederick now in custody of commissioner for Women Affairs was almost lynched by a mob, after the baby was found. Narrating her ordeal, Blessing said;
“My brother has been sleeping with me since I was 13 years old. Sometimes last year, he sent his wife out of their matrimonial home for about eight months.
He sent her out, so that he could have his way with me on a daily basis. I had no one to cry to because he is my eldest brother. We lost our mum when I was 10 years old; this made me to stay with him.
He promised to marry me despite all odds. He told me that I should not terminate the pregnancy. He said that once I was delivered of the baby, he would get someone to take the baby and we would become rich.”
Frederick on his own part said he started sleeping with his sister, after he returned home and saw her looking like his wife. News Telegraph reported that the rape suspect however insisted that Blessing was 17-years-old when he defiled her, and recently clocked 18 in January.
The baby and her mother were reportedly released to the officials of the Ministry of Women Affairs, after some documents were signed by both parties.
Veteran actor, Abdulsalam Ishola Sanyaolu popularly known as Charles Olumo ‘Agbako’ in the Yoruba movie industry has been down with a strange ailment that rendered him incapacitated and made him disappear from the scene for some time.
The 94-year-old thespian who is now back on his feet granted an interview recently where he said, ‘I have told them, and I’m also using this opportunity to inform them, that nobody should come and shed crocodile tears at my burial. If they do, my spirit will flog them, because when I needed their help, they were nowhere to be found’.
He went on to say, ‘I have been sick but thank God I’m back on my feet. My ailment was heart-related and after series of test, I was told that my heart was weak, coupled with the fact that I often forgot things, so I was placed on drugs that must be used to avoid any crisis’.
When asked if he underwent any surgery, he said, ‘no, the doctors said there was no way they could perform surgery on me. They said the drugs were very essential and must not be skipped. Though, I was operated upon when I had urinary ailment recently, I’m free from that now’.
There was a mild drama at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, after an unknown man exited the bush with a bag and climbed on the plane engine.
According to Amb. Otto Orondaam, the unknown man ran to the plane as it was taxing on the runway just before takoff. The pilot was forced to stop the plane when he sighted the man.
The unknown man, suspected to be a stowaway because of the gloves he was wearing and his bag, ran to the plane and climbed onto it, then put his bag into the engine as horrified passengers watched.
His actions held up the plane for about 30 minutes before authorities showed up and apprehended him.

Guys this is an emmergency o. For 30 minutes we have been stuck at the runway at MMIA by an unidentified man who ran to the aircraft with a bag. Security has not showed up and everyone is panicking. How it happened!! So our flight was taxing on the runway and about taking off when this man shows up running towards the moving aircraft from the bush. The pilot and a few passengers spotted him running towards the aircraft and the pilot immediately slowed down and quickly put off the engine. The guy approaches the plane with gloves and starts walking around and under the aircraft holding a bag which he dropped inside the engine. Thanks to the Pilot of the Azman Airline for quickly observing and taking swift action.. I still have a million and one questions to ask cos anything could have gone wrong! The social media rumour of KimOprah dating Gedoni has been confirmed by the former Beauty Queen, but she said it was just for 7 months.
KimOprah in an interview with Pulse following her eviction from the Big Brother Naija reality show on Sunday, admitted dating Gedoni for seven months while they were in University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State. She however said the relationship never worked out and they decided to remain friends after that.
“I dated Gedoni at some point in my year two; that was in the University of Port Harcourt, we were in the same modeling agency in Rivers, you know.
“We dated for like seven months and we decided to just stay friends because it wasn’t just working out in the relationship and whatnot. And then all of a sudden I see him in the Big Brother house” she said.
The Anambra State Police Command on Thursday, arrested a female armed robber and her accomplice, who have been terrorising Abatete community with robberies and other heinous crimes.
Parading the suspects, spokesperson of the command, Haruna Mohammed, said that on Thursday, following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Eziowelle Division in conjunction with Abatete vigilante group arrested duo namely,
(1) Ifeoma Joy Ugegbe alias “Sabath” ‘f aged 20 years and,
(2) Ifeanyi Chinweze alias “cheplat” ‘m’ aged 19 years both from Oranto Ukpo in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State.
Exhibits recovered from the suspects include one cut -to -size single barrel gun loaded with a cartridge.
The case is under investigation after which the suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.

Corey Atchison, an Oklahoma prison inmate serving a life sentence for murder was on Tuesday, July 16, vindicated and freed of the crime.
The Oklahoma native spent 28 years behind bars, after being found guilty in 1991 for the murder of James Lane who was shot in an alleged robbery in 1990. Atchison’s freedom however came after a private investigator, Eric Cullen, took up his case having previously helped to free his younger brother, Malcolm Scott in 2016 of wrongful murder conviction passed in 1994.
While in Scott’s case the man who testified against him confessed to the murder of a 19-year-old woman named Karen Summers before being executed for another crime, it was found that authorities had bullied witnesses into offering false testimony in Atchison’s case. Ruling on the case, District Judge Sharon Holmes said the case was marred by a “fundamental miscarriage of justice.”
“Corey was arrested three months before his daughter was born; this is the first time he’s been able to have some real contact with her and the same with his 10-year-old grandson,” his lawyer Joseph Norwood told The Washington Post. “I’m very proud to have vindicated them and reunited them.”
Speaking to newsmen after being freed of murder with his arm around his young grandson, Atchison said he felt “blessed” and held no grudges. “Life’s too short,” he said. “I’ve got some time with this little guy to make him into a man.”
Nigeria has been drawn with Sierra Leone, Lesotho and Benin Republic in Group L of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The draw took place on Thursday evening at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo.
CAF Deputy General Secretary of Football and Development, Anthony Baffoe, was in charge of proceedings and he was assisted by Algerian football great Rabah Madjer, Eto’o and Nigeria’s Kanu.
The 48 teams were drawn into 12 groups of four teams in addition to the four winners of the preliminary round.

Wizkid’s manager, and mother of his third son, Jada Pollock has the denied the allegation against Wizkid of domestic violence against her.
Jada P as she is popularly called has denied any authenticity in the report as she says her Instagram account was hacked by some unknown persons who made the accusation illegally on her behalf.
Jada took to her Instagram story to release a statement debunking any truth in the news and also to apologise for the damage the news could have caused.

A Nigerian Lady based in the US, has shared photos showing the amazing transformation her body went through in less than a year and it has wowed everyone on social media.

Eighteen days has passed already in the Big Brother NAIJA house and as we move on to the Nineteenth day, here’s a summary on the type of relationships that has been formed during the course of the past 18 days.
The Friend Zone
The Pepper Dem gang started the Season with one thing in mind – to have fun! This has been evident in their relationship(s) with certain men in the House; but what happens when the ship successfully sails into the friend zone? How about we ask these pairs – Diane, Tuoyo and Sir Dee; Esther and Frodd?
Remember when Sir Dee put Diane in the friend zone when he told her that he’s in a relationship outside the House? Now we see why she was quick to tell Ebuka that Sir Dee walked into this zone. What of the awkward moment when Esther made Frodd cry because she rejected his affection? In her words, “let’s just remain friends”.
We all fear to take a seat in the friend zone; but hey, this zone has led to great friendship goals in Biggie’s House. So maybe it’s not the end of the world after all.
From their early days of friendship, Nelson and Diane could have easily fooled us with the romantic spark between them. Yet, following her conversation with Sir Dee during the Diary Task and her teasing dance moves with Tuoyo at the Saturday Night parties, Diane kept Africa (and Nelson) guessing who her heart belongs to.
Nonetheless, Nelson and Esther have recently been found having intimate moments in the House – even after turning Frodd down (poor Frodd). Judging from how she rejected Frodd to her intimate moments with Nelson, we reckon that the iron lady might just love the idea of being wanted. Whatever her strategy is, seems to have Nelson hooked.
What now becomes of Diane? Clearly, the Diane and Nelson ship has successfully sailed into the friend zone. Where will the Diane ship sail now? Hmmm… Tuoyo still seems interested, or is he?

What Next?
This complicated love hexagon prompted Diane’s heart-to-heart chat with who her heart really wants – Nelson. However, what we weren’t expecting was Nelson’s response to Diane’s shot-shooting. The irony in this is while Diane’s love was being rejected by Nelson, Frodd’s love also got rejected by Esther. What a week for friend-zoning!

Wasiu Orilonise, a 37-year-old security guard confessed to raping his 15-year-old daughter after being arraigned before Oyo State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ibadan.
The suspect arraigned on one count of having unlawful carnal knowledge of his daughter, begged for the court for forgiveness as he claimed to have committed the said offence because he wanted to test the virginity of his daughter to protect her.
The guard told the Chief Magistrate, Mr Taiwo Olaniran that he lost his wife few years ago when asked what pushed him into raping his own biological daughter. According to him, he has been taking care of the victim and her siblings since then, but decided to know if she has lost her virginity sometime in December 2018 at their residence in Omo village, Agbofieti, Ibadan. Upon discovering that she was still a virgin, he started having sex with her regularly before she would leave for school and at night.
The case was adjourned till July 30, 2019, as Orilonise whose plea was not taken by the court was remanded in Agodi Prison, pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Evicted BBnaija 2019 housemate Victoria “ELLA” Nnabuchi has spilled some details about herself as she visited the PULSE studio for a chat.
One interesting part of Ella’s stay in the house was the romantic triangle she got entangled in with Ike and Mercy which she talked about.
On her reaction to being evicted last sunday, she said ;
“I didn’t see that coming, I didn’t see my eviction coming but it is what it is, we can go back you know, there is nothing to say that probably it is a joke or a lie. Its reality, I’m out but I didn’t think Africa had enough time with me because I was only singing and sometimes looking for trouble. You can never know how to please this Africa but away I didn’t see it coming but it is what it is,” she said.
On her brief romance with fellow housemate, Ike, she said ;
“What you guys don’t know about that is, I told Ike that I liked him, right? Mercy wasn’t even strong then like she just still trying as much as possible to like see that it just works, I don’t know…then sometimes when I ask her she would be like she knows what she is doing. But I did like Ike because I thought and still think he is an interesting person. His personality is actually like a movie so I thought if we got closer I could probably get to know more about him but it kind of felt like Mercy was like my friend and he is my friend too and I didn’t want all that mirage happening…the boy is mine. So we turned out to be cool friends.
“I like bad boys… I like bad boys, they are interesting, they have a story, it’s not like a cool guy who doesn’t speak too much or all he wanna do is just make you smile. There has to be this horrific feeling when you are in a relationship. I think to me it keeps the swag going…you know. I really would have loved to know Ike really very well because I wanted to know. There was a part where he said he feels its Karma coming back, things that he’s done and I was aware that…you know…he went to prison every country he travelled to. I needed to know what was leading to all those back actions because you can see the bad side of Ike but inside he just wants to do good. I’m sure he doesn’t know when he does the bad and can’t control it,”
2019 Big Brother Naija housemate, Avala, yesterday met the runner up for the 2018 edition, Cee-c.
