A (X)Twitter influencer who identified as @UnkleAyo has slammed Nigerian comedian Seyi Law for referring to Labour Party Governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as the son of a returned slave.

I am an ILAJE with Mahin origin. Go and ask about us in Lagos before the partitioning of states. Olosi ikeji aja. Ka a da fun e.”

Upon seeing his tweet an X influencer responded to him with;
“You’re an African man using slavery to score cheap social points. You’re nothing but a lanky wanky, mentally twisted failed comedian. Angels on internship moulded you, God saw the prototype then stepped out to the backyard to laugh. Baba Suwe that stopped downloading at 23%.”

A Nigerian man has revealed how his mother reacted when he was selected to participate in a fashion parade show in primary school.
The man, identified as @SamsonFelix_ on X, disclosed that he was an effeminate kid and was the only male pupil chosen to join other female students in the parade.
He said when he told his mother about it, she didn’t bat an eyelid and supported him all the way by providing him with outfits for rehearsals.
On the D-day, he revealed that his mother made him a female outfit his size, gave him gele, and also let him wear makeup. He also said she cheered him on as he walked with the other students.
Praising his mother for her dedication to making him happy regardless of his demands, the young man described her as his hero.
“It was during my graduation presentation in primary 3 at St. Philips. School had dismissed and I was so excited to go home and tell my mum about how I was selected as the only boy to be part of the fashion parade group for my school’s graduation ceremony. Oh my goodness 🫣
I got home that afternoon from school and told my mom about the decision made in school. First reaction, She wasn’t shocked after-all I was effeminate as a kid but she was rather surprised my school would allow me dress in female attire especially since it was a missionary school.
She was having these thoughts whilst showing so much excitement for me because she knew how much it mattered to me as an effeminate kid. See, I was dancing in the parlor, I didn’t take off my uniform, it was as though the graduation was already happening in my father’s house😂😂
She gave me her approval and told me she’d do anything in her place to make sure I participate. Every Friday for the months we rehearsed in preparation for the event, my mom gave me her blouse, George and canopy. Different one for every rehearse. She made sure of that!!
She believed in me, coached me, thought me how to walk, how to tie my canopy, George and even got me makeup kit🥹. You guys, these actions, every single one of them made me realize the length my mom would go to make sure I get anything as long as it makes me happy, regardless.
Three days before the event, my mom blew my mind🥹❤️she made new blouse that fit so perfectly for me, bought me George, canopy, accessories (Everything to match) and magnetic earrings.(that was the first time I wore earrings) I hugged my beautiful mom and began to cry tears of joy.
It’s graduation day! My mom had already done everything, the only thing left was to go out there and cement myself to an audience of over 1000. We started the competition, kpa kpa kpa, I tired my George, canopy and did my makeup.( peep my makeup kit on the table)🫣😂 gurl I ate!
I finished first and paraded my self like a true Igbo babe😌. My mom was there, physically, cheering me! I could hear her screaming in the background. She had a proud mom moment and I was so happy she held my hands throughout the entire process. Peep my statement canopy! I shone!
See ehn, my mom was there the whole time to guide me, encourage me, cheer me, and she did all these with no regrets. She didn’t for a second make me feel like boys shouldn’t tire canopy as the society has it. She supported me. She has always been my HERO. Suzy Benz, I love you!💕”

In an emerging report, Nollywood actor Yul Edochiehas allegedly denied being married to his second wife and colleague, Judy Austin, in court.
They reportedly claimed that their roles in movies and comedy skits are being misinterpreted as marriage, but they are not legally married.
May Edochie’s legal counsel, Emeka Ugwuonye, made this revelation in a recent statement he shared about the ongoing divorce case between his client and Yul at the FCT High Court in Abuja.
He said the court hearing slated for March 5 didn’t hold because of an unexpected setback caused by Yul and Judy.
He also mentioned that Yul and Judy’s defense strategy is to deny being married and insist that their ‘marriage’ lacks legal recognition.
Recall that May’s initial petition mentioned that Yul and Judy had their traditional wedding in Anambra state on April 24, 2022. However, they both denied the wedding, alleging that it is a lie.
According to May’s lawyer, Yul and Judy plan to argue that their social media content, including videos and posts, are part of their skit-making activities.
Read the full statement below,
“STOP CALLING YUL AND JUDY HUSBAND AND WIFE: THEY ARE ONLY SKITMAKERS (OF BABIES).
DPA Family Law Clinic
If you want to know how Yul Edochie and Judy Austin plan to defend themselves in court, you have to look closely at the response they filed in court. Their strategy is clear and straightforward. They plan to tell the court that everything they do on social media, all those videos, and all those posts are just SKITS. They want to compare themselves with Oga Sabinus and call everything skits.
Now, look at the exact words of Yul:
“That since the news of the birth of Star in June 2021, Gistlover as anegative blog that thrive in fake and manipulated information for financial gains has been negatively exploiting every movie or skit featuring the (me and Judy) and generating social media traffic for financial benefits therefrom.”
Did you see where he called it skits between him and Judy? But they are forgetting that their skits have produced two children and are about to get the third one. Their skits produced Star and his sister. Real skitmakers like Oga Sabinus don’t produce babies from their skits. But if it was all skits, why hire Sarah Martins to falsely accuse May? Is that part of the skits, too? Sarah doesn’t think so. She already told the world it was a cold-blooded and vicious attack against an innocent woman in order to steal her husband.
Now, carefully read the main allegation and how Yul and Judy responded to the allegation. They denied themselves as husband and wife. They called it all skits. And they blamed it on Gistlover, the evil genius. OK, read:

(The Petitioner shall rely on thesaid publication at the trial of this suit.
YUL’S RESPONSE:

A Nigerian woman who identifies as Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze has shared a heartbreaking story via her Facebook page about what happened to a friend and colleague of hers.
She disclosed that though it has been 14 years since the incident happened to her friend, she has found it hard to move on or settle down.
Sharing the story, she wrote;
“Many years ago, my friend dated a certain guy. They worked in the same office. They tried so hard to hide their relationship from colleagues at work. But at some point, he suffered a major housing issue and had to move in with her. She was the oldest and had 3 younger siblings living with her. The relationship kept going on. She had a car, he started driving both of them to work together. After a while, it seemed they couldn’t hide it anymore and the whole office knew of it. She was a reserved person while he was a bit more outgoing. So when they weren’t at work, he was out and about with her car. He lived with her for over 3 years that I can remember. I know many times I would ask her why they weren’t formalizing their marriage instead of just living together. She would say she has asked severally and he says he is saving up so they can do both the marriage and move out of that house, leaving it for her siblings. Suddenly one day, my friend got a call from a lady. The lady was calling her all sorts of names and asking her to leave her man alone. They lady told her they were getting married soon and she was just a hopeless old wit*ch. My friend called and told me. She asked the man. He denied knowing anything. Long story short. The calls and insults and threats from this other woman continued. Our man kept denying. My friend did some digging and found the girl to be true. Within a few weeks, our man moved out and married that girl. It’s been over 14 years now. My friend suffered a major major heartbreak and never found love again. She is over 45 now and not married. Both my friend and the man are my Facebook friends. I see him post his kid’s birthdays as they keep growing. Two of her 3 siblings died after the heartbreak. They were ill. She almost went mad. She cried so much that till date, I feel her face has a fixed crying state on it.”

“Men, If she gets pregnant, Stay away from her. You may offer resources to support her during pregnancy — but detach. You have done your work, let her do hers. Did you ever see your FATHER hovering around your mother when she was pregnant? GROW UP! #MasculinitySaturday.”

@OOluYinKah: Men, Be careful and selective with the kind of content you expose yourself to. No matter how you strong-willed you think you are, this content are storing up in your subconscious bank. And if care is not taken, you will one day withdraw from the deposits you’ve been making over time. If you have a working brain, you should know what true masculinity means. Not every advice is good advice. Filter what you consume. A wise man once said, “Stand guard at the door of your mind.” If you don’t filter what you consume, I’m afraid it might consume you
@japhetto: This one is not masculinity this is being a sadist and a narcissist, I pity the kids that will grow up in your home, they will be starved of all forms of emotional support and love, as long as your give them money your fine. A very sad pitiful man
@seunbayo89: I don’t support this Nothing masculine about this Except she isn’t your partner Show you don’t love your partner if this is your thinking

I have to fight for my kids…there is still more to come”
Nollywood actress, Grace-Charis Bassey formerly known as Belinda Effah, has stated that she would never be able to share her man with another woman.
The Nollywood actress disclosed that she was raised in a polygamous household and that she is not interested in having a second or third wife.
She stated that while she has no issue with individuals being in polygamous partnerships, she does not support their values and personal convictions.
Bassey said; “My private life is not anybody’s business, but when it is time (for marriage), you will hear. I am a very private person, and I don’t put my life out there. People have been pressured into marriage, and they ended up regretting it; so I owe nobody any explanation regarding my life.
I am from a polygamous home, and it is not something I want to relive. Based on my experience, it is not something I look forward to. I don’t want to share the attention of my man with any other woman. I don’t criticise people who are married to polygamists; it is just that we all have our beliefs.”

She said; “I have been calm for a while, trying to be selective. I don’t want to be everywhere. However, I have an announcement to make soon about how I intend to be working. I sincerely apologise to my fans.
I have been getting a lot of messages from people who have not been seeing me frequently on their screens. I usually tell them that I am still an actor, but I am choosy about the roles I take.”

Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has declared that he is bigger than his colleague, Zubby Michael, in many ways.
The two actors had gotten into a furious argument over who the greatest actor in Africa is in the first episode of the original reality series “Ebuka Turns Up Africa” on Prime Video.
Timini brought up the matter again during an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Cool FM in Lagos.
According to him, in terms of the caliber of his films, his box office performance, and his standing with industry insiders, he is better than Michael and every other actor in the business.
He claims that the widely shared comment he made was not about Zubby, but he chose to interpret it as such.
The host, On-Air-Personality, Dotun asked, “Why do you think you’re a bigger actor than Zubby?”
He replied,
“If you watched the show, what you will first realise is that I wasn’t talking about Zubby. I speak my sh*t everytime and everywhere I go.
I considered myself the biggest actor, it wasn’t about Zubby. It’s about bigger than everybody else. So, Zubby took it personal which is obvious, because he is also an actor that thinks he is big.
But if we now decide to break it down statistically, in terms of the quality of movies that we shoot, the range of movies that we shoot, the number of movies that we’ve shot, the box office record, popularity among industry experts and consistency. If you put them together, there is no way that Zubby would score higher than me.”

‘Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today?’
‘I said, can you imagine if – a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?’
John Cena, who was backstage then said: ‘Psst! Psst, Jimmy! Come here.’
Kimmel said: ‘I can’t come there – do the thing! Excuse me for a second.
What’s going on? You’re supposed to run across the stage’ as Cena said: ‘Yeah, I – changed my mind. I don’t want to do the streaker bit.’
‘I just don’t feel right about it. It’s an elegant event, you know, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless …’
Kimmel said: ‘You wrestle naked, why not?’
In response, Cena said of his trademark wrestling outfit: ‘I don’t wrestle naked, I wrestle in jorts!’
Instead of running, Cena walked sideways onto the stage with the envelope for Best Costume Design covering his manhood.
He then stated that he can’t open the envelope in his position, at which point Kimmel took over from him.
Cena was later covered up with a gold toga to present the award to Poor Things costume designer Holly Waddington.

Nigerian comedian, Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond, popularly known as Destalker, has disclosed that he has made several attempts at suicide.
He revealed that he struggled with depression following his graduation from university and that his inability to find employment eventually led him to become an okada rider.
In a recent session of the Afrobeats Podcast, Destalker and UK-based presenter Adesope Olajide discussed his life story.
The stand-up comic claimed that his family’s problems and his failure to get a well-paying job or advance in his profession pushed him to despair.
He went on to say that although he had previously taken the decision to never work for anybody again, there were many obstacles in his way and he had difficulties.
Destalker also acknowledged that his colleague Ajebo helped him get his first significant break in the comedy business.
He said; “I graduated with a degree in Public Administration but couldn’t get a job. So I started doing okada [commercial motorcyclist]. But the truth is, I already had it on my mind that I don’t want to work for anybody. You must have a blueprint of what you want to become even though the country has its own blueprint waiting for you.
I was struggling. It wasn’t easy. There were a lot of distractions and it got to a point where I was suicidal. I attempted suicide three times. I think nobody has heard this part of me.
That was when I realised that even I can’t take my life. I now believed that when you’re suicidal, your miracle is close. The devil doesn’t just want you to attain it. The closer you are to your destiny, the difficult the challenges. That was my story.”
