Controversial Internet rapper, Speed Darlington has called out lawyers in Zimbabwe who still wear ‘horse hair’ as judicial wigs.
According to him, ‘this is in Zimbabwe where black people still wear horse hair that’s right horse not human not synthetic horse hair something that itches the Body they put for head looking like Colonial judges’.
He went on to say, ‘we must exclude Zimbabwe from African Union we don’t waste our energy on the people who chose to stay lost I live in America I never see a white judge put on a black wig but these clowns/lost souls believes they cool wearing horse hair’.
A Nigerian pilot took to his Twitter to advise ‘people’ who can barely feed themselves – in other words, poor people – not to have kids because it is unfair to consciously bring a child into this world to suffer.
Captain Arinze tweeted,
“If you can barely feed yourself, please don’t bring a child to this world. That’s the height of irresponsibility. A baby won’t understand that you don’t have money. Your wife, family and friends may understand that but a baby won’t. Have a source of income before procreating.”
His tweet has caused mixed reactions and while some people agree with him, some don’t.

A Nigerian legal counselor, Inibehe Effiong has revealed why he can’t petition God for Nigeria and its leaders. As indicated by him, the issue of the nation isn’t profound, consequently no need offering supplications for its benefit.

The University of Lagos, UNILAG, has debunked reports which say they issued an honorary doctorate degree to CEO of Five Star Music, E-Money.
This was after pictures shared on Instagram by E-Money show him dressed in convocation gown at the University’s convocation.

UN Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed while speaking at the Mo Ibrahim governance weekend in Abidjan, has revealed that a woman will replace President Buhari in 2023.
The former Minister of Environment and UN Deputy Secretary-General who was asked when Nigeria will have a female president, said in response that by 2023, a woman will replace President Buhari. She replied by saying: “2023, Insha Allah”.
When asked if she would be running, she said: “Look, all of my life has been as a public servant and as one that serves, so that is not a problem for me.
“But let me be truthful here, I have always thought that I am appointable and not electable. I think the political system that we have in our country, I believe in democracy, but I think the model for us, where we are is an incredibly difficult environment to say you would come to office through the will of the people.

Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater has been charged with drink-driving following an incident in the Cheshire village of Mere, near Knutsford, police have said.
In a statement Cheshire police said: “A 29-year-old from Nether Alderley has been charged with drink-driving following an incident in Cheshire.
“Danny Drinkwater, of Bollington Lane, was arrested shortly after 12.30am on Monday 8 April following a one-vehicle collision on Ashley Road in Mere.
“He has been released on unconditional bail and is set to appear at Stockport magistrates court on Monday 13 May.”
Drinkwater has not played any competitive football for Chelsea this season, although he appeared for half an hour as a second-half substitute in last August’s Community Shield .

The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, has lost his 95-year-old mother, Janet, Punch Metro reports.
A statement issued by the Chairman, MFM Media Committee, Pastor Oladele Bank-Olemoh, stated that Mama Olukoya died in her sleep in the wee hours of March 31, 2019, 25 years after she lost her husband.
“Mama was a fervent worshipper at the MFM International Headquarters, Onike-Yaba, Lagos, where she was a prayer warrior and a member of the Elders Group.
“The burial programme of Mama Olukoya will be announced later. She is survived by Dr Daniel Olukoya and Mrs Funmilayo Olowoake, also a member of the MFM, grandchildren and other family members,” the statement added.

A former bridesmaid has taken to a Facebook group to give the narrative of the shocking encounter she had with her friend, a bride-to-be named Kate, and people have been left horrified by the story.
The lady said her friend was upset that she was pregnant and she told her to have an abortion so that she wouldn’t complicate things at the wedding.
The pregnant bridesmaid said in the post that she was preparing to be a bridesmaid for her friend, Kate who was very keen to have a child-free wedding. But things quickly went south when she found out she was pregnant.

The bridesmaid added:
I asked if she seriously just suggested I get an abortion to make her wedding go more smoothly. She told me I was ruining my life and then called her mom on me to have an aborrtion.
Added bonus, one of her friends that I was friendly-ish with texted me later on to ask if I had aborted because if I had a baby at 21 he could never date me and he really saw a future for us.
The bridesmaid said she didn’t bother attending the wedding and hasn’t spoken to Kate since then.

HBO Series, Game Of Thrones star, Emilia Clarke, took the world by surprise after she revealed she had just finished filming the first series of Game of Thrones when she suffered a devastating brain haemorrhage that left her in intensive care.
She managed to get back to work, filming other seasons of the show and putting on a brave face while going in and out the of hospital.
Her story came as a shock to most people because she hid it so well and bravely carried on.
She has now shared candid snaps from the hospital during her recovery from her first brain aneurysm which occurred when she was just 24.
Emilia, now 32, showed the images during an interview on America’s CBS Sunday Morning, and spoke openly about how she bounced back from the ordeal.
She was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke, which was caused by a brain aneurysm.
After spending five days in intensive care, Emilia managed to recover and go back to work, but had to undergo a second brain surgery in 2013, which failed and she suffered a brain bleed that nearly killed her. It meant she had to go under the knife for a third time for another life-saving operation.
Emilia survived by she says that she lost hope after the second brain bleed.
She told CBS Sunday Morning:
“In my worst moments, I wanted to pull the plug. I asked the medical staff to let me die. My job – my entire dream of what my life would be- centred on language, on communication. Without that, I was lost.”
However, she managed to recover and felt that going back to Game of Thrones to play warrior queen Daenerys Targaryen helped put her back in a more positive frame of mind.
She explained:
“You go on the set, and you play a badass character, and you walk through fire, and you speak to hundreds of people, and you’re being asked to be – to work as hard as you possibly can. And that became the thing that just saved me from considering my own mortality, yeah.”

A Nigerian man simply identified as Alloy, has lost his life after his wife allegedly hired thugs to beat him for slapping her.
This was according to a narration by a man identified as Bernard Ufuoma, who is a friend to the deceased.

My friend and Pharmacist allegedly killed by the wife.
Alloy my amiable friend and health provider is dead. I met Alloy in 2009 when I moved to the Oyigbo Expressway axis of Port Harcourt and we were friends at first sight. Alloy is from Eheme Mbano and the owner of the biggest pharmacy at the Oyigbo Expressway axis.
I can remember vividly our first day of meeting. I had a stubborn cough and have been to the Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital but was still coughing. Alloy listened to the dry irritating cough and prescribed Beehive Honey cough syrup and some antibiotics and I was relieved.
Alloy and I became friends and over the years I bought my drugs and toiletries from him and we hanged out with a bottle of wine and pepper soup from time to time.
Alloy is blessed with an affable wife and four beautiful kids. He’s quite comfortable and travels abroad several times a year for fun and business.
Trouble started when Alloy’s older sister had accommodation crisis and she had to move in with the Alloys. Alloy’s wife vehemently refused that the sister stay in the guest house. Alloy’s house is a three bedroom bungalow with a two bedroom guest house behind.
The guest house is vacant but his wife insisted that the sister and kids should keep their properties there but sleep in the sitting room of the bungalow. Alloy pleaded with her to allow the sister stay in the guest house but the wife refused insisting that staying in the guest house would make her stay permanently with them and that sleeping in the living room will make her aware she’s a guest.
Alloy registered the wife in a gym as she was getting out of shape and the schedule was three days in a week. Since January this year she goes to the gym daily. This is a woman Alloy bought a 2013 Toyota Corolla sedan for and gives a handsome monthly allowance.
She lacks for nothing. Monday to Saturday she’ll never be at home obviously staying away from the house because of Alloy’s older sister. Alloy had gotten an estate agent to look for a two bedroom apartment for her.
Anyway on April 1st Alloy went to the gym to see her personal trainer and asked why the change of schedule and why the wife will be at the gym six days in the week. The gym management denied any change of schedule and insisted that she only comes to the gym three days a week.
When Alloy got home he confronted his wife.
” I was at the gym today and I was told you only go there three days in a week. Why are you lying? Why do you go the other days?”
“So, it has reached this stage where you are monitoring me?” the wife shot back.
“Tell me what’s happening or are you cheating on me?” Alloy angrily demanded.
“You’re calling me a harlot abi? You yeye man”.
The wife lurched at Alloy and held him in the neck and Alloy wriggled himself out of her grip and slapped her. Immediately Alloy knelt down begging her.
“I’m sorry for slapping you. In twelve years of marriage I have never hit you. You were choking me and I was losing my breath. Abeg.”
“I’ll never forgive you. Useless man. I’ll deal with you. You’ll know I’m an Umuahia woman”.
Alloy’s older sister and Alloy’s pastor from Redeemed Church were called by Alloy to beg her but she was still fuming and baying for blood.
The next day as Alloy was driving to the gate of his compound at about 6pm in the evening four young men intercepted him and dragged him out of his Toyota Prado SUV and one of them said, “So, you are not afraid. You beat up our sister. We’ll deal with you.”
The four miscreants beat Alloy black and blue. They kicked him in the ribs and groin. At the screams of Alloy neighbors ran to the scene and the criminals fled. Alloy was rushed to the hospital and given treatment and discharged from the hospital around 10pm same day.
Alloy called me the next day and I drove down to see him at the pharmacy and he narrated the ordeal he suffered at the hands of the hoodlums the previous day. He wasn’t looking too good but I never feared that the beatings he received would be fatal.
This morning Alloy woke up with a headache and a cough producing blood. He drove himself to the hospital. After a series of tests internal bleeding was diagnosed. Surgery was recommended but before he could be taken to the theater for anaesthesia and shaving he slumped and died exactly 3:36pm.
Alloy is dead.
*The wife has been arrested and handcuffed by the police and investigations have commenced into the death of Alloy.

Filmmaker and Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim has revealed that there is so much pressure on celebrities to act perfect, which has led many to the wrong side of life.

A total of seven persons were shot dead today after a deadly bank robbery that occurred at the Isewa Quarters, Ido-Ani, headquarters of Ose Local Government Area, Ondo State.
The robbery reportedly lasted for over an hour on Monday afternoon – the robbers, numbering about six, who arrived in a Sports Utility Vehicle, SUV, attacked the only commercial bank in the town, and carted away an undisclosed amount of money.
According to eyewitnesses, five officials of the bank, as well as two customers who were at the bank’s ATM point were shot dead by the robbers.
They were said to have blown open the bank security door with dynamite after shooting sporadically in different directions.
It was also gathered that one of the robbers was caught by men of the Nigerian Army when luck ran against him while he was trying to escape.
Some customers and officials of the bank were said to have been seriously injured during the operation, as the robbers beat them to a pulp while trying to gain access into the bank’s vault.
Confirming the attack, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ondo State Command, Femi Joseph stated that he could not give details yet.
Following the recent social media saga involving singing sensation, Simi, who spoke out against the rampant indulgence of internet fraudsters in the country, Nigerian producer, Samklef has said musicians should channel that energy in speaking out against bad governance in the country.
Samklef says, though he doesn’t support fraudsters, they aren’t the only problem in the country and since entertainers want to use their voice to stand against something bad, then they should also voice out against bad governance and killing of innocent lives.

A man viciously assaulted his ex by gnawing off her lip to “leave his blemish on her” for her next boyfriend.

According to her, Fleury tried to kiss her, but as she pulled him away, he bit her bottom lip so hard it almost completely tore off.
Kayla, now 19, said:
“I met him down the street, he had flowers and cards, one about getting back together.
“After reading the cards, he asked: ‘Don’t you have anything to say?’ and I told him I was not there to get back with him.
“He told me to get out, so I did, and he threw everything at the back of my head. Once I got back into my car, my leg was shaking so uncontrollably that I couldn’t move.
“I saw him draw a breath and try to kiss me, as I pulled away he clenched down.
“I remember him latching onto me and my body being in shock, I didn’t feel any pain apart from the tear and I started screaming.
“He then dragged me by the hair and slammed the door in my face and drove off. It was crazy.”
Fleury was later arrested and pleaded guilty to assault and battery of a high aggravated nature. He was sentenced to 12 years in jail.
Kayla who has been left with permanent scarring reportedly underwent emergency plastic surgery and received over 300 stitches around her mouth.
She continued:
“My surgeon had to cut all around my face and cheeks to bring the two sides of my lip together because it was torn off completely.
“I find myself insecure over the scars, it’s very hard as a young woman especially, but I can define my scars or have them define me, they show my story and what I have overcome.
“A piece of me died after the attack, at times I feel a great deal of sadness but now when I think about that day, I know I’m a stronger person today.”
“I have been told Seth did it intentionally and wanted to leave his mark on me for my next boyfriend.
“Seth was very controlling and treated me like property not a girlfriend, he was very manipulative.”
