John Terry has officially retired from professional football at the age of 37 after being linked with a coaching role at Aston Villa.
The former Chelsea and England captain who won five Premier league titles and a Champions League at Stamford Bridge, shared the news on Instagram on Sunday evening.
Terry, who won 78 caps for England, wrote:
“after 23 incredible years as a footballer, I have decided now is the right time to retire from playing. As a 14-year-old, I made my best and biggest decision: to sign for Chelsea Football Club. Words will never be enough to show how much everyone at the club means to me, in particular the fans.”
Nigerian alternative singer, Olawale Ashimi, better known as Brymo performed at an event recently in London rocking nothing but a piece of clothe wrapped around his loins while his butt was left bare for his audience to fix their gazes on.
In a chat with Sunday Scoop, Brymo explained the reason for his choice of clothing saying,

Theater veteran Actor Baba Sala is dead, the actor, real names, Moses Olaiya Adejumo popularly known as Baba Sala died yesterday according to reports from his family, at the age of 81.
Baba Sala who had been reported dead on many occasion battled with old age illness for a while before finally succumbing to death at the ripe old age of 81.
His demise was announced this morning by his children on their pages.

She had an interview with The Nation Newspaper, and she’s said Nigerian women should not lose their dignity or depend on men in order to succeed.
If you had to advise Nigerian women, what would you tell them?
My advice to Nigerian women is not to lose their dignity as women in order to succeed in life. Hard work brings success. They should not depend on men for everything but work hard to get their own.
Also, I would advise our Nigerian women never to look down on themselves but believe in themselves.
Women should invest in themselves, mingle with people that will help them grow and have a positive attitude.
Though things may be tough initially, hold on tenaciously, never lose focus. They shouldn’t see it as obstacle but a stepping stone to their greatness. With time everything will fall in place. They should try to stand out and shine.

“When she returned, she told the security guards that she was traveling to her village and needed to pack her things. The guards stopped her from moving out, insisting that Yemisi did not inform them she was traveling. They tried calling her phones but there was no response. Becky then told the guards that she wanted to go into the car to pick up her other phone so she can call Madam. That was how she fled and has not been seen till date. The next day, Yemisi’s husband instructed the security guards to break the door and enter the house. That was when they found her in the pool of her blood with stab wounds all over her body”.
Mourning the demise of his beloved wife, the husband, took to the gram to share a photo he took with his wife, 6 days before her death.

A Nigerian Lady, identified as Ruby Galore on the gram, has taken to her page to narrate how a nanny, Johnson Becky, stabbed her friend, Yemisi, to death in the Asokoro area of Abuja, the country’s capital.
According to Ruby, the incident happened on the 23rd of September 2018, where the maid murdered her said employer in the middle of the night, in her sleep.

Galore said the case was reported to the police and investigation has commenced. Becky, from Akwa Ibom state, who has been with the couple for some time, had travelled out of the country with them a few times. There are fears that she might flee the country and evade justice for her alleged act.
A Nigerian Lady, identified as Erumu Ekperaboh on Facebook, took to her page to share a powerful testimony about her sister, who gave birth to a set of twins after 11 years and four months of waiting.

President Buhari has congratulated winners of All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries across the country, urging losers to demonstrate sportsmanship by accepting the outcomes without bitterness or resentment.
“In every competition, someone has to win and someone has to lose, but those who lost should not abandon the party or lose their enthusiasm for the advancement of the party,” the President said.

He added that “those elected should see their positions as a public trust instead of abusing their mandates to amass personal wealth at the expense of the ordinary voters who voted them into power.’’

Immediately, Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan reacted to the photos, and he’s blasted the President for trying to “fool” Igbo and Yoruba again.
According to Reno, Buhari has started putting on Igbo and Yoruba attire again as the 2019 general elections approached.

A 14-year-old girl was hospitalized after she was raped by ten boys during a cult initiation in Nkpor, Anambra state.
According to a report sent in, the shocking incident happened last two weeks after the said girl decided to join the cult group and in the process, agreed to have sex with all the guys present during the initiation.
In the process of having sex with the cult guys, the young girl collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.
It was also revealed that some of the cultists who participated in the act, have been arrested while others are currently on the run.
This is not the first time an issue like this has happened.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and the national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State; former Niger State Governor and presidential aspirant Sule Lamido; Senator Dino Melaye also joined Saraki in the PDP protest against the outcome of the recently concluded Osun State Governorship election.

This is coming after we reported that the Osun State governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, restrained the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from tampering with results.
The tribunal headed by Justice T .A. Igoche and Justice B. A Obayi as member also ordered INEC not to tamper with information contained in the card reader machines and other documents used for the poll. Senator Adeleke, through his counsel, Mr. Nathaniel Oke, SAN, had filed an ex parte application seeking leave of the tribunal to file the application before the pre -hearing session.
The applicant also sought leave of the tribunal to inspect and obtain certified true copies of electoral documents and materials in the custody of INEC. Adeleke predicated his application on the grounds that he was the candidate that contested the election held on September 22, 2018 and the re-run election held on September 27, 2018 on the platform of PDP.
Other grounds of the application are: “That the total votes won by the 1st applicant on the 22nd day of September, 2018 was 245 ,698 while the 1st respondent scored 245,345.
