A Non-profit Organization (NGO) in Kaduna State is currently demanding for justice for a two year old, identified as Meimunat Shehu (pictured above).
Meimunat was allegedly raped, brutalized and sodomized by her own father and she is currently at the Kaduna state Hospital receiving medical attenton.
The NGO is calling on the government to ensure that Meimunat gets justice, as her father’s family members are trying to cover his crime up by claiming he is mentally ill.

Usman Mohammed, an herbalist in Osun State, has been arrested by policemen in Edo State for duping his victim of N6 million.
The Nation reports that the victim allegedly gave the herbalist the money and asked him to help increase it to N12million.
Mohammed told journalists at the Edo State police command headquarters that his victim was duped because she was looking for “what she did not keep.”
The herbalist confirmed that he received N3million from the N6million while he shared the remaining to other members of his team.
He said: “I live in Osun State. I was arrested in Osun State. She is from Benin. She patronized my office because I do medicine for her. Before she requested for money ritual, she said I should do something to make her business to grow.
“When she requested for money rituals I said she must bring the money. She said she has N6 million. I told her to bring a big bag and the money. I told her to keep the bag somewhere and the money will double to N12 million. That was what she requested for.
“She kept the bag in her room for three days and the day she opened it, there was no money inside. I told her she was responsible for the inability of the money to increase. I got N3million. Other people ran away. She is looking for what she did not keep. She is ole.”
Entertainer and social crusader, Charly Boy, 66, has opened up about the “Our Mumu Don Do” protest calling for president Buhari to resume work or resign.
In an interview with Ademola Olonilua of Punch, he said the few people on the protests are those who are ready to die for Nigeria.
On celebrities not joining the movement despite his call, he said:
“The bible says, many are called but few are chosen. If there are only two of us, we are going to keep insisting on the right thing. Don’t forget, I did not start this movement.
It was some young Nigerians that started it and they roped me into it. My job as an Area Fada is to guide them because what was missing in the past which made people claim that the youths have gone to sleep is that they did not have the right leadership.
I have come out to say that I would take a bullet on their behalf because I feel and believe that this country would only be saved by some exceptional youths. If you look at the trend, the youths in this country have really done Nigeria proud, especially when they are abroad.
There are so many Nigerians in Harvard Business School, Nigerian doctors have helped to shape the American health care system; I can go on. So why is it that in our own country, the youths do not have any future?
It is because the terrain is polluted and infected by all these criminals. I am happy that I am making that connection with some exceptional youths and I am proud to say that it is just a question of time. We are not looking for a crowd.
Like I always say, the people holding Nigeria at its jugular, those who are responsible for the excruciating poverty Nigerians are going through are not up to 50. My own equation is that the people that would rescue this country may not be up to 20 despite the fact that they would try and kill some or throw tear gas at them.”
Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, aka Dammy Krane, who was arrested and detained in Miami, USA, for allegations of credit card fraud, has called on the general public and his fans to pray for his discharge and acquittal.
Dammy Krane whose arraignment hearing is scheduled for August 17 said;
“Everybody knows that I’m just all about my music; I’m a musician I don’t do flight bookings, I’m innocent of the allegation. Everyone should please pray for me to come out of this successfully”, he pleaded.
According to Vanguard, speaking on the present situation of the case, he said;
“I’ve a hearing soon, but my lawyer tells me I don’t have to be there, like I said God is in control; everybody should just keep praying and supporting me. I did a song I recorded a day after I actually got out of jail, I was talking about all these things, especially the prayers my fans said for me, I actually appreciate everybody and I put it in a song and I’m going to be dropping it soon”, he said.

The EFCC, Ibadan office, has nabbed an internet fraudster, Afolabi Ojo, who allegedly engages unsuspecting members of the public in a phony online shopping on Instagram and WhatsApp respectively.
The suspect, who is a student of the Osun State Polytechnic, Ire, Osun State, was arrested after a petition from a complainant alleging that sometimes in June, 2017, while window shopping on Instagram, she came across some slippers and shoes on a page “Best Classic Store” owned by one purported Kemisola with WhatsApp number 08106802815 displayed on the page.
According to the petitioner, a sum of N53,000 was paid for some items purchased on the online store (Best Classic), into an account purportedly owned by one Oyebola Olasunkanmi with account number 0027735703 domiciled in one of the first generation banks.
Thereafter, the suspect not only failed to deliver the goods, but also went incommunicado. Hence, the suspect was reported to the EFCC.
On arrest, Ojo confessed to being the one posing as ‘Kemisola’ on Instagram, to deceive people especially ladies into patronizing him.
He said:
“I do not have any goods. I only pose as a lady using the name ‘Kemisola’ with the handle “Best Classic Store” on Instagram. Some of the items I used to display for sale include female shoes, slippers, hand bags and wallet. After I have lured my victim to pay, I will disable him from my chat so that he can no longer reach me”.
The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded. Meanwhile, members of the public are advised to be careful when buying goods online so as to not to fall victim of phony online stores with heinous motives.
A young boy branded the ‘devil’ has endured the cruel taunts of villagers who believe his giant hands are a sign he’s cursed.
The 12-year-old suffers a mysterious condition that has caused two fingers and his thumb on each hand to balloon.
Meanwhile, the last two fingers on each hand have stayed a normal size.
His family say Tarik, from Uttar Pradesh, India, has had big hands since he was born, but have continued to grow.
His aunt, Pushpa, said: “Since birth, his hands were always big.
“As he started growing his hands got bigger.
“When his father was alive he took him to the local doctors a lot.
“But his father passed away and he only has his mother now, so he can’t get any treatment.”
Tarik’s older brother, Hargyan, takes care of Tarik and helps him with simple daily tasks that his hands prevent him from being able to do.
Hargyan said: “His hands are really big. I have never seen such big hands in my life.
“He is stuck in his life. He cant even change his clothes. I have to look after Tarik.
“Its difficult for Tarik to complete his daily chores like bathing, dressing, and eating.”
The condition, which has not been diagnosed by doctors, has caused Tarik’s huge hands to grow, measuring 12 inches from the tip of his thumb to the tip of his first finger.
Sadly that has resulted in Tarik being bullied by his neighbours and friends.
He was also refused admission to school.
Tarik said: “I had few friends in the beginning but now I don’t have any.
“People are scared of my hands. I wanted to study but school refused my admission.”
Tarik was cruelly branded “The Devil” by villagers who believe his large hands are the result of a curse.
Tarik said: “People think having this condition is a result of some curse.
“They don’t know it’s a medical condition and it could be cured.
“It’s just we don’t have money for the treatment doesn’t mean it can’t be cured.”
His brother added: “The school authorities said they could not take Tarik, as his huge hands will scare other kids. He was denied admission in almost every school.”
Tarik’s aunt, Pushpa, believes the condition is from God and he will get normal hands soon.
Pushpa said: “He can’t dress without brother’s help. His life is totally dependent on us.
“We have to take care of him all the time. But I am sure he will get a better treatment.”
The family has approached many local doctors, but each time, they have returned home disappointed.
Hargyan said: “We went to many places for his treatment. All of them were local doctors with no sophisticated equipment. We can’t afford a good hospital for him.
“Local doctors never helped. Every single doctor suggested to get Tarik a proper treatment. But for us, there is no way. He has to stay like this till we have some money for the treatment.
On a recent visit, Dr. Pawan Kumar Gandhi said: “Tarik’s problem is actually a mystery to us. We’ve never seen a patient with this before.”
A mother and her daughter have both been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for reportedly selling drugs – the 43-year-old woman, identified as Alaba Mulika, and her 16-year-old daughter, Olamide, were arrested for allegedly trading in cannabis.

A well known South African bodybuilder has lost his life in a freak accident after he attempted to perform a back-flip stunt to show off to crowds during a competition warm-up on Saturday.
The deceased identified as Sifiso Lungelo Thabete broke his neck after landing on his head. Officials who rushed to help the builder were left shocked at the scene.
South African bodybuilding magazine Muscle Evolution wrote of the champion: ‘The bodybuilding community was shocked and saddened by the tragic news of the death of Sifiso Lungelo Thabete, a bodybuilder from Umlazi in KwaZulu-Natal, at the weekend.’
According to the platform, Sifiso was tipped for a bright future, having been a former IFBB Junior World Champion in the up to 75kg category. He had ‘impressed the crowd and the judges with unbelievable muscle size and maturity beyond his age‘ in his most recent competition.

A list was given to a couple by a church before they can wed in the Church and its content has had it to go viral. According to the list, they have to provide money, food and suit for the host pastor amongst other things.
After the social media outburst that ensued when an obscene photo of a cartoon allegedly being aired on Cartoon Network surfaced earlier today, the satellite TV channel has released a statement saying they aren’t authentic.
Cartoon Network stated that such a scene has never been shared on any of its platforms – the photo which went viral on twitter shows a nude male and female.
And in light of the development, people were quick to judge and call out the channel for the crude content saying it is completely inappropriate for children.
However, some others have come to the defense of Carton Network, spotting the wrong placement of the logo in the obscene photo.
The satellite channel stands to face lawsuits and may lose a lot of viewers if the accusations are true. This, however, is not the first time in recent times the network is being faced with this kind of scandal, but it has always maintained its stand that it does not air cartoons with adult content.
A young lady, identified as one Onyinyechi Esther Egwim has narrated her dreadful ordeal in the hands of cultists/criminals while she was aboard a tricycle in Imo state. Esther revealed that she resisted when she the hoodlums tried to rob her.
This provoked the criminals as they stabbed her with a sharp bottle before taking her phone and pushing her down from the tricycle.
