The wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike has reacted to the recent comment by President Muhammadu Buhari that his wife belongs in his kitchen, Living room and the other room.
She backed the President, by saying that she belongs to the kitchen, the living room and every room created by God.
She was speaking at the 10th Biennial Diocesan Women’s Guild Conference Thanksgiving Service of the Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North in Saint Thomas Anglican Church, Diobu, Port Harcourt on Sunday.
Justice Suzzette Nyesom-Wike said:
“All women have been through a lot as they strive to build the society. Our contributions to societal development cannot be underestimated. I belong to the kitchen, I belong to the living room and I belong to every room created by God. So also other women.
“We are created by God to do more. In my own case as a judicial officer, I also belong to the courtroom. Other women belong to different rooms, depending on their professional calling. Women are very important to the development of any community. They form a larger percentage of the workforce that keeps the society,” she added.
Recall that the President reactions was in response to an ‘explosive’ interview his wife granted the BBC, where she stated that she may not back her husband at the next election .
In his response, the president, who was in Germany on a three-day visit laughed and replied, “she belongs to my kitchen and living room.”
Nawa oh! Someburri’s wife, someburri’s grandma is who this one is saying is turning him on… That’s how you identify people who like MILFs… SMH…
So a guy went to the comment section of the veteran Nollywood actress, to say that she is turning him on… Has he no respect?!
The actress shared a video on her IG page, showing her singing and having fun with some friends only for this user, @malikgidi to write that she turns him on…
This raises the question though, whether the veteran actress should be flattered or feel disrespected… What do you think?
Here’s how a radio listener reports the funny incident.
“IS CHANGE “BEGINS AT YOU” POSSIBLE? .Can fighting corruption up there change any corrupt practice down here?
“A bag containing different articles. and important document was reportedly missing at ikirun and the owner lodged complain to a radio station at ILESHA. Suprisingly almost 200 people was said to have called the radio station saying they have found the missing bag. How can 200 people fron different places saw a single missing bag?.
“Unknown to the callers, the calls were recorded and was broadcast on the radio in the recorded format. The first guy was not a Yoruba guy but likely an Igbo guy. He claimed to have seen the bag and requested the owner to send 20 thousand to retrieved his bag. The second person was heard to have requested for recharge card so he can travel down to Ilesha from Oshogbo to deliver the missing bag And so on and so forth.
“The most surprising caller was an Old man, the man surprised every one because as an elder, such corrupt practice should be not be heard from him. But the man after series of interogation and call back etc. He eventually demanded that money should be sent into an account to retrieve the money. I salute UNIQ FM Ilesha for their wisdom, In that bag, there were phones inside, so the man making the call ordered him to switch on one of the phones so he can call into one of it to confirm if truely the bag is with him. That was how problem started and the man started saying nonsense. He was latter gotten . The man promptly pressed red button on his phone immediately he discovered he had been caught to be a fraudster.
“Why is corruption so rampant everywhere like this? The bag is yet to be seen till date and people are trying to dupe the person searching for the bag. SMH.”
You can tell that they brought joy out of a tragic moment just by looking this beautiful – the photo of this lovely female pall bearers have been making rounds on social media.
Most people can’t help but notice how they look like a bridal train… They look so stunning in their outfit that it’s almost hard to believe that they’re pall bearers.
Sarah Omakwu, senior pastor, Family Worship Centre (FWC), Wuye, Abuja, on Sunday delivered a scathing message to those donating looted money to churches, saying stolen money should not be brought to her church as offering.
According to transcripts of the sermon, Omakwu said she was not castigating sinners, but she preferred to miss their money and have them make heaven.
She said; “Any money that you cannot explain to God don’t bring it to this church, if you are in the civil service and you have stolen money, please don’t bring the tithe to this church I say this in Jesus name. You cannot do all that and then think you come to church and say a short prayer, that God will forgive you because of Grace.
“In church today, you see Christian ladies dress and there is no difference between them and prostitutes, what harlots wear to the bar, you wear to church in the name of Grace, nobody can persecute you because the devil has you already. If you are a prostitute here today, I do not condemn you, you are my sister, you are a daughter of Abraham and your body belongs to the Lord. I know some girls do this because they have bills to pay and you the man, you have the money but you cannot help them unless you sleep with them.
“You the man that take advantage of those young girls, what you give to them, your own children will have it too. Bible says rejoice with the wife of your youth and let her breast satisfy you, stop all these strange breasts everywhere. You may say, Pastor why are you cursing us, no I am not cursing you I am praying you out of your depravity.
“If you have stolen money, don’t bring it to this church, I repeat it in Jesus name, someone says pastor we will miss money, yes I will rather miss your money and have you make heaven. Christians should be a standing rebuke to the world.”
Talk about taking the spotlight of people in the spotlight – this gentleman in the photo above had all eyes on him as he, who is a best man, proposed to his girlfriend at a wedding.
At the reception of the wedding, the best man took guests by surprised as he popped the question in front of everyone – even the main bride of the ceremony was all smiles.

The reality TV star has insisted that “getting people to like you” is her talent as she sits down with Bill Whitaker for an interview on 60 Minutes.
In the chat that took place before she was robbed at gunpoint, the star gave an indepth look into her glamorous life and was quizzed on where her success is rooted.
“It is a talent to have a brand that’s really successful off of getting people to like you for you,” she said.
I would think that has to involve some kind of talent, you know?”
The mum-of-two, who has remained off all social media since the terrifying incident that saw thieves escape with millions of dollars worth of jewelleery more that two weeks ago, also attributed much of her success to social media.
Whitaker asked the reality star if her fame could exist without her presence online.
Kim replied: “Not in this way. I totally attribute my career to social media.”
The 36-year-old also said the pros of living her life in the spotlight outweighed the cons.
“I do believe that the pros in my situation and my lifestyle have been more beneficial than the negative things.”
And when Whittaker said, “You monetized the act of living,” Kim agreed.
A “cooking with semen class” is set to open in the UK – the class, which will open in London, will educate its students on how to use semen as an ingredient in a three course meal complete along with drinks, The Independent reports.
Class participants will be asked to bring their own or a partner’s ejaculate to a secret location in Shoreditch where they’ll whip up a three-course meal with drinks.
The class chef will teach attendees how to use semen as a core ingredient in everything from chicken dishes to tipples and amuse-bouches.
A book called Natural Harvest by Paul Phoenhauer actually exists, filled with “a collection of semen-based recipes”. It currently has a four-star rating on Amazon.
Despite claiming it is “nutritious” with “amazing cooking properties”, it’s hard to tell just how serious he is about the whole endeavour.
Speaking to SF Weekly he said he does not put semen in all his food, but said it was merely a “fun twist“.
So given the proposed London menu is as pun-tastic as you’d expect (jerk chicken and schlong island iced teas are among the items on the menu) it’s unclear just how serious the whole project is.
Sex expert Alix Fox, recruited to promote the event, said:
“While this will doubtless appall many people, some individuals find the idea of consuming such an intimate substance an incredible turn-on. “I guess when you consider that humans regularly consume eggs – which are essentially the product of a chicken menstruating – eating a partner’s semen doesn’t seem quite so round the twist. There are some fascinating points of discussion to explore in this domain, too. Can semen be considered vegetarian, for example? What are the potential health and safety risks?”
She said that fresher semen is better, but said that freezing it to preserve it is possible, but may affect the flavour and consistency.
Those interested are asked to register their interest, and if more than 30 people apply the class will go ahead the following week.

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has ordered the investigation of the purchase and distribution of vehicles by his predecessors.
It was reported that the probe was informed by the discovery that retiring officers, including former IGs and Deputy Inspectors-General of Police, were in the habit of appropriating police vehicles for their personal use.
Findings on Sunday show that the probe, which is being handled by the Special Investigation Panel, had identified and recovered 19 police vehicles from former IG, Solomon Arase.
Some of the vehicles include assorted sedans, Sports Utility Vehicles and pick-up vans.
The vehicles, it was learnt, were apart from the four vehicles he was entitled to take away with him on retirement.
A senior officer, who is familiar with the investigation, said the SIP was still working to recover five additional vehicles from the former police boss.
It was learnt that the SIP, headed by Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Ali Amodu, (retd.), had also recovered a number of police vehicles from other retired DIGs.
The recovered vehicles were said to have been distributed to newly promoted Commissioners of Police and AIGs.
The source said:
“We are making progress in our investigations. We were able to trace 24 vehicles to the former IG and we have recovered 19 already. He has yet to release the remaining five, but we won’t let up until we recover all the vehicles. We have pictures of the vehicles and they have been documented, so he can’t deny it, the recovery is a fact.”
Arase had earlier denied taking away 24 vehicles when his successor, Idris, made the allegation during an interview with journalists on July 18, 2016, shortly after he assumed office.
Idris had further alleged that the seven DIGs, who retired alongside Arase, also carted away between seven and eight cars each. Arase, however, denied the allegations of his successor, saying he did not go away with any police vehicle.
He said,
“What am I going to do with 24 cars? Do I want to open a car shop? This is a malicious accusation. There are ways of verifying issues rather than engaging in media propaganda.”
Arase said all vehicles bought by the police under him were distributed to the state commands and other appropriate units of the Nigeria Police Force.

A woman is auctioning her virginity to help her family following a devastating house fire.
Katherine Stone, 20, left Seattle to work in one of Nevada’s infamous legal brothels after spotting an advertisement on Facebook.
There, she is advertising her virginity for $400,000 – however she won’t accept a bid unless she feels a “connection” with the person.
Speaking to CNN , she said:
“People say you are supposed to do it for love. But if you think about it, I am doing it because I love my family.”
Stone struck up a deal with brothel tycoon Dennis Hof in 2015. Hof stated she could sell her virginity at his brothel – as long as he gets a 50% cut.
Until then, she works at the brothel and offers non-intercourse services to raise money for her family who didn’t have insurance when the fire destroyed their home. She said:
“I’m waiting for a man who I feel a connection with so that the experience can be special for both of us.
“I have the right to choose what I do with my body. And in this troubling economy, do you blame me?”

A 41-year-old man in Fresno, California was sentenced to 1,503 years in prison for raping his teenage daughter over a four-year period.
The man was sentenced Friday, October 21, to the longest-known prison sentence in Fresno Superior Court history. The Associated Press is not naming the man because it could identify his daughter. They also don’t name victims of sexual abuse.
In announcing the punishment, Judge Edward Sarkisian Jr. told the man he is a “serious danger to society” and noted that he had never shown remorse and has blamed his daughter for his predicament.
The man’s daughter was first sexually abused by a family friend but instead of protecting her, he turned her into “a piece of property,” prosecutor Nicole Galstan said.
The victim was raped two to three times a week from May 2009 to May 2013, when the girl got the courage to leave him.
In September, a jury found him guilty of 186 felony counts of sexual assault, including dozens of rape of minor. The daughter, who is now 23 told the judge that her father has never shown remorse for her pain and suffering.
“When my father abused me, I was young. I had no power, no voice. I was defenseless,”
Before his preliminary hearing, he turned down two guilty pleas. If he had admitted his guilt, prosecutors would have recommended 13 years in prison. But he rejected the offer, saying he should be released from jail for the time he already served.
“He ruined her teenage years and made her feel like it was her fault,” Galstan said.
Honestly I’m not sure what’s going on in my marriage. Sometimes, I think I’m losing my mind for no reason. Then again, I feel something really wrong is going on. Let me give a bit of background.
I’m in my early 30s and I’ve been married for about 3 years without kids. My husband and I live in a European country and we have a great relationship. I have a BFF, let’s call her X.
She’s about my age but older by two years. Our parents worked for the same oil company and were very friendly with each other. We both went to the same secondary school in Nigeria, ended up in the West together for uni and have had loads of fun times together.
She knew my husband from the days of toasting to dating and marriage. To be fair to her, she has been so supportive. When I had no one or money difficulties as a student, she was there for me in a way no one could. A friend who is closer than a sister.
My problem is with her closeness with my husband. My husband and I are not from the same tribe. When marrying overseas, you can’t be filtering for tribe. However, X is from the same tribe as my husband.
Sometimes, the way they gist in their local dialect makes me uncomfortable, always laughing crazily like teenagers. In all my years of marriage, I haven’t enjoyed that the banter that they have.
Whenever when they discuss in English like when we all hang out together, I feel like the third wheel. Sometimes, my gut tells me she is flirting with him with her general body language and the way she makes faces at him. The fact that X was she was a wild chic at university just makes uneasy.
My husband doesn’t even seem to restrain her or himself, like I think a married man should. She hasn’t done anything overt. It is the nudging him in the ribs, the rubbing of his head or even gentle tugging of his beard that is making me go crazy. The way she laughs at his jokes; jokes that are not even funny. She is too damn relaxed in his presence.
She has even this nickname for him in their dialect. When my hubby got a promotion and we all went out to eat, X came to the restaurant dressed to the nines and wearing this incredible fragrance. Then she gave him this bear hug that I felt lasted for too long. I don’t feel all this is normal but I don’t want to be a prude.
I know she is not seeing anyone, she would tell me if so. Her life has been a bit scattered so she hasn’t cultivated a serious relationship. She’s prettier than I am and I know she shouldn’t have any problem attracting guys.
What can I do? I can’t just cut her off abruptly or ban her from her house. It would be odd and besides, we have a lot of mutual friends. To be fair to my husband, he hasn’t given me any tangible reason to be suspicious but you know what they say about naija men.
I don’t know of anytime they have been in the same place without my knowledge. But he is not helping matters the way he always invites her for events or compliments her or things like that.
I can’t confront husband because I may be making a mountain out of a mole-hill. The last thing I want is to be called a jealous wife. I can’t tell my parents because they never supported my marriage from the outset (tribal issues) and I want to prove them wrong.
I already have enough stress from work and trying to start a family. I feel so worn out. What do I do?
Ekiti state’s Governor Ayodele Fayose, in a Channels interview reiterated his belief that the over 200 missing Chibok girls were not kidnapped by Boko Haram as widely believed. It’s all a propaganda, he said.
“I want to make it very clear. I am still not clear about the issue of these Chibok girls. I am not quite clear about it. You might not like my views about it. You might not want to hear it. When you tell me about 200 students were to go for exams and they are physics students.
The first one they brought to us cannot speak English. The second one they brought was resisted by the Bring Back Our Girls Group. When you look at the scenario, you begin to ask questions. Is this a make believe?”he said

The operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command have apprehended a tricycle rider, popularly called, “Keke Marwa”, for allegedly abducting a 15 – year old girl and turning her into sex slave.
The suspect, Dada Azeez, 28, abducted Bukunmi on October 5 while on errand for her aunt in Agege area before the RRS operatives rescued her on October 21th, 2016 from his hideout in Agege.
The alleged abduction of the girl was disclosed by her sister, Mrs Gbemisola, who stated that the girl was abducted with a sum of N58,000:00 meant for her thrift contribution.
The suspect, after weeks of lodging in several locations to evade arrest, was eventually nabbed by the operatives at his residence at 7, Oseni Street, Danjuma Cinema area, Agege with the girl in his one room apartment.
Confessing to the crime, the suspect disclosed that he wooed the girl when she was 14 years old at her sister’ shop in Agege. “We started having secret affair about a year ago. But her sister frowned at our relationship when she got to know.
Unknown to her, we were still seeing each other. In order to be having regular conversation with her, I bought a mobile phone for her and instructed her to hide it from her sister. So, whenever she intended coming to meet me, she will call and I will describe our meeting point for her”.
He added “then I thought if she could elope with me that would be better for us. I started working on her psyche and deceiving her with some material things”.
“I was able to perpetrate the crime when her sister sent her on errand on one Sunday afternoon. However, I didn’t know she was with such amount of money. I just wanted to take her far away from her guardian for not supporting our relationship”, he revealed.
Narrating her ordeal, Bukunmi noted that the suspect forcefully deflowered her, adding that, he turned her to a sex slave.
According to her,” he forced himself on me the very first day I visited him at his residence. Ever since, he has been having sex with me without wearing condom.
He slept with me anywhere and even at his friends’ place where he hid me for weeks. I succumbed to him because I couldn’t go back home”.
She said that the suspect collected the N58,000:00 her sister gave her. “He fed me thrice a day probably from that thrift contribution money”, she added.
The victim, who looked pale when he was arrested, said that, she eloped with him out of ignorance.
Also arrested along with him, was one of his friends, Wasiu Agunbiade, who aided the abduction by accommodating the suspect and the teenager in his one-room apartment in Agege.
He said that he only accommodated them for a night, adding that he never knew he abducted the little girl.
“If I had known the girl was abducted, I would have advised him to return her to her parents. I never believed he could commit such crime.
He begged me to accommodate them for one night with her in my room, stressing, “he left my place the following day to somewhere else. I regretted allowing them to pass the night in my place”.
In her reaction, sister of the abducted girl, who was so elated upon seeing her niece, said that the family will take her to hospital for medical check-up.
While confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Superintendent of Police, SP Dolapo Badmus, warned parents and guardians against exposing their wards and children to social vices around their environment.
The suspect, friend and the abducted girl have been transferred to the Divisional Police Office in Agege where the case was initially reported before RRS operatives took it up and rescued the girl.

A 40-year-old man from Okpoma village in Yala Local Government Area, Cross River State, Dominic Iyayi Ogar, has thrown his in-laws into mourning following the gruesome murder of his wife and their only daughter.
Ogar is alleged to have committed the dastardly act on October 8, 2016 in Mpape, Abuja. Sunday Sun reporter learnt from the Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, Mr. Mohammed Mustafa, that Ogar, who slept with his wife and their only daughter on the same bed, woke up suddenly in the middle of the night, took a knife and stabbed both of them to death, and they died instantly.
Mustafa said that Ogar then carried the corpses of the dead 27-year-old wife, Omago and the daughter, two-year-old Blessing to a nearby nursery and primary school in the area; he allegedly wrote a small note and dropped it beside the corpses and then ran off to hide in his farm.
His evil deed, however, came to light when one of his neighbours, Destiny Onwusuaka, noticed a trail of blood that led to the door of the family house. In a chat with Sunday Sun reporter, Onwusuaka said: “It was around 7:00am when I discovered stains of blood on the floor and followed the trail to the door of Ogar.
When I looked into the room, I saw a pool of blood but I didn’t see the husband or the victims.
“It was later that I saw the two corpses where the husband dropped them. I shouted and called our neighbours. We then ran to the police to report what we saw. We started searching for the husband. It took four days before we found him and arrested him in his farm on October 11, 2016.
Following the arrest of the suspect, the corpses of the deceased were moved to the mortuary of the National Hospital, Abuja.
At the Criminal Investigation Department of the FCT Police Command, where he spoke with Sunday Sun, Ogar said:
“I don’t have a job, I cannot feed my family, I can only feed myself, and God should forgive me for what I have done.
“I don’t know what came to my mind; it was frustration that led me to stab my wife and only daughter to enable me survive in life.”
As it stands now, Mustafa said that Ogar’s hope of surviving in life now lies at the discretion of the court where he would soon be arraigned to answer charges.

They call American musician DJ Khaled the King of Snapchat for a reason. But his recent post on the social media site has got tongues wagging.
The American musician of Arabic descent shared with his fans on Snapchat a video of his wife Nicole delivering their son while his album was playing in the background.
While this may be surprising to some, it does not come as a surprise to fans of the DJ and occasional rapper. He often shares videos of his daily life on social media but, this may be a tad too much for some.
As expected, some fans have berated the musician for sharing what in their opinion supposed to be a private moment. But others have praised him describing the video as cute and loving.
