Presenter and On Air Personality, Ik Osakioduwa’s wife, Olohije is a year older today and he wrote her a lovely birthday message… a quite romantic one actually, as he calls her his “greatest miracle”.
The couple have been married since 2008. He wrote:
Several years ago today, God dusted his hands, looked back at this Ora princess he had created and said to Himself “Kia! I’m too much”. The angels looked at Him and said “Lord you gave her A lovely heart, an amazing mind, a great personality and dangerously good looks. You are not only ‘too much’, you are actually partial”. God and the angels agreed that the mold from which she was made must be broken. There couldn’t be 2 of the spec. Then in a phenomenal act of grace and kindness God decided then that she would marry someone undeserving. And average joe. Why? Just because he could. And for that day I will FOREVER be grateful. Happy Birthday baby. You are my greatest miracle ever. I love you
No matter her profession, always be proud of your mother! Whatever she does, she does for you! So it’s only right that you show appreciation in whatever way possible!

A woman from Ilorin told a court to dissolve her two year marriage because she refused to stay in purdah, News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The purdah practice requires married Muslim women to stay in separate rooms, behind a curtain or dress in all-enveloping clothes, usually black in colour, in other to say out of the sight of men or strangers. Come rain or burning sun, they cannot step out in public without the purdah.
But Azanat Bashiru told the court that Mumin Bashiru, her husband of two years and father of their two children, did not tell her before they got married in 2014 that she would be put in purdah.
“This is not in our agreement. I cannot be covering my body with black cloth, including my eyes, all of the time,’’ she said.
Mumin did not raise any objection. “If she doesn’t agree to be in purdah, she is free to go,’’ he said. But he demanded custody of their two children.

A young man who was brought into this world with four legs has used social media to appeal for doctors to amputate his two extra limbs.
22 year old Arun Kumar, was born with two extra legs growing from his lower back, one underdeveloped and the other permanently bent at the knee.
Arun, who lives in Uttar Pradesh, India, appealed through social media for medical help to remove his extra legs.
A team of specialists at Fortis Hospital in Delhi responded to Arun’s plea for help and organised a series of tests to find out how the legs are attached and if he can be treated.
Arun said:
“If I get an operation and doctors take off my two extra legs, then I can also live a normal life. I may be able to move and walk properly like others. If they are willing to do an operation, then I’m ready.”
Although he cannot move his extra legs, he does have feeling in them and carrying the weight on his back is damaging his posture and ability to walk.
Arun’s mother Kokila Devi said:
‘During childbirth he got stuck and didn’t come out without pain. And when he came out, all his limbs were the same size.’
Doctors at various hospitals deemed Arun’s extra legs too risky to operate on when he was a baby.
Ghanaian actor turned preacher, Majid Michel shared this very powerful gospel message alongside the picture above. He wrote:
“Intellectuals Don’t Accept Theories Without Testing Them. i suddenly realized that i had done what no true intellectual ever does. i had made conclusions about things that i had never really tested.
No scientist ever draws conclusions about things he has never put to the test. i had never really put Jesus Christ to the test, never really given Him an opportunity to work in my life. i had never given him a chance to come inside and live in me and prove whether the things the Bible said about Him were true.
As a student, i didn’t major in science, but i was a strong believer in the scientific method. in science class, our teacher taught us that every true scientist proves over and over that something is true. it occurred to me that i had never really proved that God is true. i had just drawn intellectual and philosophical conclusions about God, but had never given Him a chance to work in my life.
Now i had to conclude that Majid Michel was a phony, but i also concluded that Jesus Christ died for phonies! Now i’m talking to everyone in the world who lives with bigotry, hate, and violence, that you could never through your own strength and ability be able to produce anything in this life that would be worthwhile. Jesus Christ died in your place to forgive you of every sin that you have ever committed, and arose again to live in you. And God is asking YOU to believe JUST THAT ! #LEADERSHiP.”

So it’s not really buzzing on Social media but it’s worth an honorable mention!! The photos of these Nigerian humans you’re about to see will in no doubt blow your mind and freak the freak out of you!!

She was last year celebrated as one of the oldest persons living with sickle cell in the world – Alhaja Asiata Adupe Onikoyi Laguda turned 91 yesterday, November 1st 2016.
And judging by the photo shared by her granddaughter, Moyo Asekun – CEO Pérola Moda, she is still bubbling with health and proof that sickle cell disease can be conquered!
At the time Alhaja Asiata Adupe Onikoyi Laguda was born in 1925 into the Onikoyi Chieftaincy family of Lagos, there was no immunization, no new-born screening, no hydroxyurea, no inkling that hydration with just water could go a long way in dealing with sickle cell disease.
At that time, the average life expectancy of children born with sickle cell disorder was just five years.
Due to the high level of illiteracy at the time of her birth, she was never diagnosed with sickle cell. She endured years of pain, which kept her away from school till she was 12 years old. Her pain was so severe and frequent that she would beg God to let her die.
But she defied the odds… She survived sickle cell. A hearty birthday to the fighter!!
Lil Wayne has drawn the fury of black people in America towards him after he dismissed the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.
In an interview with Nightlife, when the rapper was asked if he felt drawn to the movement, he answers:
“I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me.”
The rapper goes on to explain, “I’m a young black rich mother****er. If that don’t let you know that America understand that black lives matter this days, then I don’t know what it is.”
Wayne has faced some backlash in recent months for his controversial opinions. In a preview of the interview, Davis addressed the Black Lives Matter movement, to which Wayne responds:
“What is it? What does it mean?”. In the full clip, Wayne got frustrated, snatched off his mic, and claimed “I ain’t no politician.”

A Ghanaian man identified as John Kojo, 22 has reportedly been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly supplying a locally-made pistol to a suspected robber in the Morogbo, Badagry area of the state.
Kojo was arrested on Saturday when a robbery suspect, Banhusa Abujuny, identified the Ghanaian as the owner of the gun he (Abujuny) allegedly used for robbery.
The duo was being detained by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja. The police said the gun was “stolen from another robbery gang.”
According to Punch Metro, on Friday, October 7, some armed robbers came to Kojo’s area in Morogbo and unleashed terror on the residents.
Some residents put distress calls across to the police, while some vigilance group members mobilised against the robbers. As the robbers fled, they abandoned the pistol, while Kojo, who was reportedly around the scene, picked and hid the weapon.
According to the police, Kojo later gave the gun to Abujuny to rob. Kojo, however, said that he hid the gun abandoned by the robbers, adding that he was afraid to turn it in to the police. The Ghanaian said he was not aware that his friend, Abujuny, took the gun from his house.
He said:
“I got the gun after the robbers, who attacked Oko Afo, fled. The robbers came to our area and were moving from house to house. Some residents confronted them and they fled. I was one of those who chased the robbers.
“As they fled, they left one of the guns by the roadside and I picked it. I brought the gun home and hid it. I did not give the weapon to the police because I was afraid. I did not show the gun to anyone. Abujuny is my friend. He did not tell me that he had taken the gun. I was at home last week Saturday when SARS officers came and arrested me.”
Abujuny, who said he had not robbed with the gun, stated that he was arrested during a street fight in the Alaba Market, Ojo.
He said:
“I had yet to rob with the gun. There was a fight in the Alaba Market on Friday and I threatened someone with the gun.”
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigation.
A new report has surfaced online detailing how Lilian Esoro and Ubi Franklin’s marital crisis started.
Kindly read the full report below:
– Via @misspetitenigeria
. ???? My latest dirt is on music exec, #UbiFranklin and actress, #LilianEsoro ‘s one year old marriage .In 2015 I posted dirt on their engagement at the time (here)… Well, two months ago, I heard from authoritative sources that their #marriage has crashed and Lilian had ended the marriage. I felt it was just an issue of adjusting to a new life, which sometimes comes with motherhood.
Besides, some new mums suffer from #Postpartumdepression which can make them take out their frustration on their spouses. It’s been almost four months and the couple is doing little to quell the speculations..Well, let’s just say Lilian is making it quite obvious.
#Misspetitenaija can authoritatively report that Lilian walked out on her marriage immediately their son,Jaden was born and is adamant not to return. Their issues reportedly stem from #infidelity to domestic abuse .
If you recall, their relationship has always been rocky from the moment he proposed to her .Lilian rejected the #proposal and was literally begged to accept him. He even flew all the way to the USA to win her back .
This was because she was not expecting a proposal in such a short time and besides, she was inlove with an #actor who is now married so won’t mention his name .
When she realized the actor had moved on to the new lady he is now married to, she heeded to friends advice and accepted Ubi.Her family also cajoled her to marry him as he was quite generous to them .
Even after accepting his proposal, they split once again and he begged her yet again before she finally agreed and got married .
In a year of marriage, they have welcomed a son and this has sparked reports she must have gotten pregnant before their marriage was official .
At the moment, Lilian has moved out of their house and is finding comfort in her family who are in support of her decision .Meanwhile, Ubi is doing all he can to win her back.He has also tried to keep their situation under wraps.
As if to add fuel to the fire, Lilian totally ignored the launch of Ubi’s new lounge last week .She did not make reference to chinnysblog She did not make reference to it,promote it neither did she attend it.Rumour has it, he opened it to win her back.
To crown it all, today being their anniversary, she totally ignored it on social media and to pass a message across , instead uploaded a photo with her sisters.
After Ubi waited for hours , he decided to celebrate their one year anniversary with this photo collage and loving words to her.
1 year ago I married my lovely wife Lilian who is God Fearing lady and Super mom to our beautiful son “Jayden”. My love for you both knows no boundaries and I will always find this event to be the happiest moment in my life.
Through the good times and challenging times, our union would only continue to grow from strength to strength. Love you lots! Ubi. Onise iyanu ??
One thing is clear, he loves her and wants her to stay ..Let’s hope they work things out and find a level ground .

A seven man syndicate of young guys who specialize in blackmailing young ladies (especially UNIZIK students) were caught by the police at Enugu. From investigation, these guys were the people who orchestrated the release of the lesbian video of the former Miss Anambra. They met their waterloo when they tried the same trick on another lady who was a former Unizik student but currently an upcoming actress and a model.
Their mode of operation is very simple. They open female Facebook accounts and scout for unsuspecting young ladies. These guys will operate the said accounts as ladies and become very friendly with the said girls. Inundated with promises of making them become celebrities and promising to crop out their faces before posting pictures, these unsuspecting girls will send nude pictures and shot lesbian videos in return for a particular sum of money(around 100k).
Immediately they get hold of these videos or pictures, they will blackmail them into returning the money or else they publish the video or pictures. I, as Martin Beck Nworah, is categorically stating that this is a verified fact because I have seen victims in the past. And even if you do, they will still keep the materials and use it in blackmailing you when they feel you have become popular or achieved something.
In the case of the former Miss Anambra, after extorting so much money from her, she became fed up and threatened to deal with them since she is now a beauty queen. Remember, her lesbian video was shot in her year one in the university even before she dreamt of contesting for Miss Anambra in 2015. When these boys saw they can no longer extort more money from her, they decided to start releasing her video(One single video they decided to cut in parts). They also screen grabbed parts of the video and released as pictures to the public.
While we wait for official statement from the security outfits, this is not in defense of anybody. I promised to physically follow this issue and see to its logical end. Thank God, we are making progress and getting to the roots. Before you form an opinion on social media, please try and verify facts if you can.
For our parents, I have repeatedly begged you to be close to your daughters and provide enough guidance for them. Just try your best and make sure you provide enough for them. Teach them how to be contented with whatever you can provide. We thank God these guys were caught today, only God knows how many ladies they have destroyed their future in the past.
Till we get to the Promised Land, I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race’.
Shocking photos of a distressed bride fleeing her wedding reception went viral during the weekend (If you missed it).
The bride to be abandoned her 41 year old groom, Julius, at their wedding reception in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. All pleas by the bewildered husband at the popular Orhunwhorhun Road for the woman to reconsider her decision were to no avail.
Details on what allegedly happened that fateful day has emerged.
Her close friend told Vanguard that the bride saw her true love at the reception venue and decided to follow her heartthrob.
The would-be bride, Roseline, 32, has since disappeared into thin air and all efforts to trace her whereabouts had yielded no result at press time.
It was a pandemonium as the wife ran out of the wedding reception and rejected her husband, saying “I am no longer interested,” forcing the wedding reception to end abruptly.
A close female confidante of the woman, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Vanguard:
“I believe she did what she did because she saw the previous man in her life at the reception. We heard that he had earlier promised to marry the bride, but he later traveled to Lagos and never showed up again.
“When the bride waited for a long time and he (former suitor) was nowhere to be found, she decided to marry another man, who was ready although she still loved her former suitor.
“So when her true love showed up at the reception without notice, the woman saw him and decided to call it quits with her husband to follow her heartthrob.”
A well known controversial Ghanaian marriage Counselor, George Lutterodt has claimed that no man can brag about satisfying any woman sexually on this earth.
According to him, women try to massage the ego of men by moaning and groaning uncontrollably during sexual intercourse pretending to be enjoying it whereas they are not really satisfied.
And that most women have acquired properties due to their moaning skills.
He observed that most men are deceived into believing that they are good in bed when their partners moan excitedly, that the male organ is the most disgraceful organ in the human anatomy.
The firebrand Counsellor while speaking with host of Abusua FM’s Drive Ike-Da Unpredictable, said:
‘No man can satisfy any woman sexually on this earth, the thank you they say is appreciation for your time wasted. She is fanning your ego to let you know that you are counted among the lot. There are differences in the way we have the excitement, satisfaction and the pretenses. Most of the moaning all are lies. Men are vulnerable sexually, the male organ is the most vulnerable organ in the world and is so disgraceful. Every hole you place it in, it’s happy. It appreciates and responds to every vagina.
It’s very disgraceful, unlike the vagina which has eyes and mouth, the penis has only mouth and no eyes that is why every erection needs direction. If you have an erection, it needs direction. So any man who does not ejaculate needs to be examined, it’s a serious disorder and needs a counsellor to manage him,’ he said.
This Chinese woman humiliated her husband after she caught him talking to other women via a messaging app online. According to Daily Mail, the wife got her husband to confess his wrongdoings while she scorned him as she sat in bed.
The man who can be seen crying in pain and embarrassment throughout the video which was uploaded on October 31, is wearing a pink bra and black boxer shorts and can be seen kneeling on the spiky skin of a durian fruit, which has a strong smell and is popular in south-east Asia.
Hilariously, the man has stuck a sanitary towel on his forehead.
‘I admit that I made a mistake,’ the embarrassed man replied in a low voice. ‘I should not have sent my private photos via Wechat. I should not have initiated the conversation,’ the man confessed.
The angry wife interrogates him saying: ‘who did you approach?’ The man then chose to reveal what he had done:
‘I talked to several women. I said something I should not have said,’.
‘That’s why you ended up like this, right?’ the scorned woman scolded him, ‘who asked you to kneel down?’
‘My wife asked me to do so.’ said the husband.
‘I asked you to kneel down, and do you obey my commands?’ the infuriated wife asked.
‘I am willing to receive a harsh punishment,’ the husband answered in a flat tone.
‘Will you continue talking to them?’ the wife still appeared to be mad.
The man promised he would never do it again.
He suddenly burst into tears, ‘my dear wife, these are all durian skins. I just can’t stand it anymore.’ It’s not known how long the man has been kneeling on the durian skins.
The video ends as he burst into tears and moaned in pain.
The bizarre clip was uploaded by Zui Huo Huo Ge to Miaopai, a video-sharing platform in China on Monday.
‘He’s so coward.’ an user noted. ‘These behaviors are more than silly. They are really disturbing,’ a video watcher commented. ‘I am curious, who is filming this video?’ a Miaopai user wondered.
The 40-year-old man, Victor Emafolomi, in the photo above has been detained by the police for allegedly raping his wife’s daughter, Keji.
According to PUNCH Metro, the suspect was apprehended on Sunday by the police from the Agbado division after the mother of the victim reported the case.
Keji (pseudonym) lived with her mother and Emafolomi on Olukososi Street, Jafa, Agbado, in the Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State. Emafolomi raped Keji on two occasions in October, threatening to kill her if she informed her mother.
The first time she was raped, Keji was at a shop where she was learning hairdressing within the community when her stepfather called her on the telephone to come home to prepare lunch for him.
While the teenager was immersed in the cooking, Emafolomi reportedly descended on her and dragged her into the bedroom.
She said,
“That afternoon, he was drunk. He beat me up when I resisted. I explained to him that he was like a father to me, but he didn’t listen. He used a pillow to cover my mouth and raped me. He said he would kill me if I told my mother about the rape.
“Two days after, he had sex with me again. That evening, he beat me up because I insisted that I would tell my mother when she came back from work. He went out and came back with two men after about 30 minutes. The men stared at me and left. He said they would be monitoring my movement and that if I reveal what he did to me, they would kill me.”
Punch adds that the suspect left home after the second encounter and did not return until about two weeks later.
“Before the incident, he had warned a boy called Owolabi to stay away from me because he didn’t want us to have a relationship,” Keji added.
Keji’s mother, Taiwo, who spoke to PUNCH Metro, said she was abreast of the time her daughter usually menstruated, said she became worried last Tuesday, October 24, when Keji did not do so.
“I took her to a clinic in our area and it was confirmed that she was pregnant. I begged her to tell me who impregnated her, but she refused,” Taiwo said.
After much pestering, Keji was said to have confided in her mother, who reportedly passed out afterwards.
“I was very shocked, but I could not fault the revelation because my husband had abandoned home for some days and there was no misunderstanding between us. I think it was because of what he did,” she added.
However, the suspect, who hails from Delta State, refuted the allegations, saying it was Owolabi, who impregnated Keji.
He said,
“I am a driver. I left home because my wife is stubborn; she doesn’t take corrections. I left home to punish her so that she would change for better.
“I never had sex with her daughter and I didn’t know anything about the pregnancy. I don’t want it aborted. When she is delivered of the baby, we will carry out a DNA test on the baby.”
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ambibola Oyeyemi, said the case would be transferred to the command’s headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation.
“The victim confirmed that the suspect had carnal knowledge of her several times and the pregnancy test conducted on her was positive,” he added.
Head of states, President Muhammadu Buhari has said if Nigerian has a country to go to, let him go, that the rest will stay here and salvage the country.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the special assistant to the president on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari had this to say when he received Niger Delta leaders.
“We are determined to make life comfortable and affordable to all Nigerians. If anybody has a country to go to, let him go, we will stay here and salvage our country.”
Speaking further, the President urged leaders of the region to join him in building the country.
“Please Your Excellencies, Your Majesties, Distinguished ladies and gentlemen; we all have our individual constituencies. Let us try to pacify our constituencies.
Let us first recover our country, secure the country and let us invite people who will invest. Let us create jobs for our people and let us be accountable to our people where we are sitting on treasuries, whether it is local government, state or the center. We should ensure that we rebuild this country.
Nobody wants to fail. So, the only way out is, if people understand and believe that we are doing our best at all levels, then we will have some peace. But it they have reason to doubt our performance and sincerity, then we will have problem”.
Nigerian male music sensation, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, who just clocked 30 on Monday, has disclosed one of his regrets in life as not being married before becoming famous.
The 30-year-old, who just signed a new record deal with Mavin records, graced an interview with The Net. When asked why he has no baby mama, or married, like his colleagues in the industry, he said:
“I’ll be honest, it’s not very easy, If I had my way, I would have been married a long time ago by now people will be seeing my kids.
It’s not very easy trying to get this music right and then adding marriage to it.
The truth is even though people think I have that bad boy reputation, I respect marriage a lot, I don’t believe I should get married and get out of it, so I’m not trying to rush into something I’ll rush out of.”
Iyanya said that it is not easy to just date any girl now because their real intention would be in doubt.
“It’s hard to get a girl. If you say you want a girl from the church, you’ll carry devil, if you say you want a dancer, you’ll carry trouble.
I’m just trying to be patient and take my time and it’s even harder now that I’m famous because it’s really hard to find someone that truly cares for you when you are famous.
I think this is one of the things I regret, I should have married someone way back when my mum was still alive. Back then my mum was always on my neck to settle down and at the time I always wondered why but now I see it. I’m not giving up though, I just want to make sure I get this music right.
I’m 30 and I’ve not seen in the bible or any church that’ll say I can’t come to church because I’m 30 and not married,” he quipped.
A Ghanaian juju man, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has claimed that Manchester United’s woes will remain as long as Jose Mourinho remains their manager.
Nana Kwaku Bonsam told Kasapa FM that Manchester United will continue to suffer if the Portuguese fails to apologize to former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro as she possesses a devilish spirit.
He said:
“Jose Mourinho is very recalcitrant person I have made this statement and will still repeat again if he doesn’t apologize to Eva Carneiro (the former Team Doctor for Chelsea) he will never succeed in any club he will join,” he predicted. She (Eva Carneiro) possess a devilish Spirit which is causing all these miseries at United and this has even affected the performance of key players like World record signing Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and among others.”
Due to the affection I (Nana Kwaku Bonsam) have for Manchester United I would like to call on the fans and authorities of the club to mount pressure on Mourinho to render an unqualified apology to Carneiro immediately if he Mourinho wants to bring United back to their winning ways and protect his job…… Trust me that will be the only solution or else even if they buy Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo the club will still perform poorly and this will be the worst performance in the history of the club.
Blessing is one of the kidnapped Chibok girls who had earlier escaped before the release of the 21 girls few weeks back – the Federal government later gave her and a group of others scholarship to the United States to study.
The lovely lady has now adapted to her new environment as she speaks fluent ‘American’ English. She is videoed giving a speech at the Trade And Investment Meeting, during V.P Osinbajo’s recent visit to the U.S.
This lovely 20-year-old Nigerian lady named Doris, is celebrating 7 years of being an amputee. The beauty took to her IG page to share these lovely photos with an inspirational message.
She wrote:
“TODAY I STILL REJOICE!
Happy anniversary to me!
Today makes it the 7th year of my survival. I shall rejoice during the month of November because this is the month that I had my right leg amputated. 🙂 When God decided that I can be a better person than what I thought I might have been.
November – the month when I stepped into the gravel road, it was never easy; the pain, tears, heartbreak, torture, depression and all the negative vices you can imagine.
After accepting myself for who I am, today I know happiness, love, care, faith, hope, strength and vision with a purpose to be alive because I never gave up. I was not cursed but God chose me to be His living testimony. He made it a point that I am different from majority. Look at me 7 years later, I am a queen and I have been positive.
I am 20 years old, I am a confident young woman. I believe that disability is attitude. I believe I’m no difference from any woman and I cannot be defined less than that.
Basically, I choose not to be defined by my challenges. So in my 7 years as an amputee, I have learned to have self-love, my clutches are my best accessories. I always have my beautiful smile as my make-up. 😀 It defines me before the world. It is the voice to my silence.
I see so much faith in myself and it scares me. To think of where I have been and where I am going makes me emotional. I will change the world tomorrow!
I am happy with or without a limb!! FOOTNOTE:
That something wonderful is going to happen even with all the ups and downs.
Never take a day for granted.
Cherish the little things and hug the ones you love.
No pain, no gain.
I believe we are all bound to face challenges and when they come, we have got to be strong.

In light of the “buy made in Nigeria” policy set by the government, the Nigerian Army are in total support of the notion as they’ve placed the order for 50,000 leather boots which are to be produced in Aba, Abia state.
This is giant step for locally made products though… How cool! More photos below:

“I bought kerosene from a filling station along Idoro road as I closed from my Keke business. Upon getting home, I decided to light up the lantern in my poultry farm to keep my birds warm but needed to top up the kerosene in the lamp as it was soon going off.
So I came out of the poultry farm just as my kids followed. As I attempted to light up the lantern there was a loud explosion with a big flame of fire which left me unconscious.”
One of the children died few hours after the explosion while the second died the following day at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH). Mr Nsikak is in critical condition at the hospital
