A notorious female kidnapper and her gang members have been arrested by operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Rivers State Police Command in Eleme area of the state.
The notorious gang have been terrorizing residents and making huge sums from kidnapping business. They were arrested following a tip-off by members of the public.
Stanley Mgbiri, Mkpowu Blessing, and Micheal Hope, who are serial kidnappers terrorizing the axis have been successfully arrested after they kidnapped a 9-year-old girl, Miracle John, at Igbo Etche.
The suspects also threatened to kidnap one Mr. Osato Nwakaji from Onne. They asked him to pay the sum of N3million into a certain bank account. They threatened to kidnap him as they did to a certain staff of NNPC whom they collected a ransom of N12million from and yet killed the man.
As a bait, the sum of N100,000 was paid into the account and when they went to withdraw it, police rounded them up and they were arrested. The guys and lady are presently in Police custody and the suspects will be charged to court.
A man has been caught on camera fighting a suspected prostitute he failed to pay after having sex in the bush.
According to H-metro, the man was seen engaging in a brutal fight with two of the alleged sex workers along the railway line near Lytton Industrial area in Zimbabwe.
The man was said to have been charged $2 for an afternoon ‘quickie’ which he failed to pay as he claimed he had been searched in the midst of the act by one of the ‘tarts’.
He had accused one of the girls of stealing his money which made him unable to pay. But, the accused girl denied it which led to a fight.

An “egocentric” mother who murdered her eight-year-old son in cold blood, after the lad allegedly found out she was having an affair with his grandfather, has been jailed for 30 years in Italy.
Veronica Panarello throttled her son Loris Stival with electrical cables and abandoned his body in a remote gully in Santa Croce, Sicily.
Panarello had tried to pretend her son had been abducted, telling police she had taken him to school and that he had disappeared by the time she came to collect him in the afternoon.
Police began to suspect the boy’s mother, judge Andrea Reale was told, when CCTV footage at the school did not back up her story. She was found guilty of the boy’s murder and of concealing a body.
Prosecutors branded her an ‘egocentric, manipulative liar.’ When Panarello confessed that her son had been killed, she blamed her husband’s father Andrea Stival.
She told an earlier hearing that he had helped to plot and then carried out the murder because Loris had caught them having sex. Stival is being investigated as an accessory to murder, reports Italian media.

Operatives of the Rumuepirikom Division of the Rivers State Police Command, on October 18, 2016, arrested three suspected fraudsters in connection with circulating fake currency notes. They are Andrew Ogah ‘m’, Ozoemena Okeke ‘m’, and Helen Ozoemena Okeke ‘f’.
They have photocopied N500 and N1000 denomination notes of Nigeria currencies and were arrested when Mr. Andrew went to deposit the money in a new generation bank.
Investigation is ongoing at the Division as the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations is completed.
Confirming the arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Omoni Nnamdi,
“the Commissioner of Police, CP. Francis M. Odesanya, advises the public to be careful with the antics of these criminals whose stock in trade is to defraud unsuspecting customers and clients. And also, to be weary of the existence in circulation of fake naira currencies, especially within the Mgbuoba Area of Port Harcourt.”
The police in Lagos State have arrested a man, identified only as Nathaniel, for allegedly drugging and raping his 14-year-old housemaid in the Ikotun area of the state.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Nathaniel, who stayed on Ajisegiri Street, in the Egbe area, was arrested by the Ikotun Police Division on Sunday.
It was gathered that the suspect allegedly lured his housemaid, Chinwe (pseudonym), with a cup of juice penultimate Monday, which contained a sedative.
The two persons were reportedly alone in the apartment on the day.
The victim, who is an orphan, was brought from a village in the south eastern part of Nigeria to work in Nathaniel’s house.
It was said that when she woke up, she found that she was Unclad.
She also reportedly found Fluid in her private parts.
Our correspondent gathered that after the incident, Chinwe fled the house, dropping a letter for the suspect’s wife to intimate her on the sexual abuse she (Chinwe) had allegedly suffered.
It was learnt that the teenager also confided in a neighbour, who is a pastor in the area.
The pastor was said to have informed a child rights’ organisation, which in turn reported at a police station.
In the letter obtained by PUNCH Metro, Chinwe wrote that she did not want to return to the house as she was fed up with sexual abuses allegedly by Nathaniel.
She said, “Dear aunty, I want to go. I am suffering here. Look at what your husband has been doing to me. The last time that he did it, he gave me a drink and I did not know that he purposely gave me that drink so that I could fall asleep.
“It was when I woke up that I now found myself Unclad. I now saw white thing on my laps. This is what he was doing to me the other time that I told you that I wanted to go. I do not want to cause trouble for you. Please, call my brother to come and take me away. I want to go and I do not want to stay here again.”
A source with the Child Protection Network, where the pastor reported the case, said, “The man is over 40 years old. He employed the victim as a domestic help.
“He had been sexually abusing the 14-year-old victim. On that Monday, he drugged her juice. That day was a public holiday. When she slept off, he raped her.
“She ran away from the house, because she did not want trouble for the man’s wife. Nathaniel has been arrested by the police. The Family Support Unit of the police is handling the matter.”
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed Nathaniel’s arrest.
She said, “The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has directed that the case be charged to court.”
This man was caught yesterday night for allegedly raping a minor at Makarfi Road, Rigasa of Kaduna state.
He was nabbed by local vigilantes who dealt with him.
Though Social Media users are saying they should please burn him alive.
