She shared the clip on her Instagram page on Tuesday, August 8, in seeming response to the ongoing rumour that she and husband are going through a rough patch.

Earlier this week, an unverified report claimed that the celebrity couple are having a marital crisis due to alleged infidelity and domestic violence.

In an apparent reaction to this, Rosy stated that the breakup rumor is clearly proof that she and her husband have been missed online.

Neo stated this in response to a Twitter user who asked if it’s appropriate for a man to demand pounded yam and egusi soup after returning home at 1am.

According to Neo, it’s acceptable because marriage is commitment and couples are entitled to make demands that will discomfort each other.

Citing an example, the man asserted that men readily come to their wives’ rescue when their car breaks down on the road regardless of the location and time, so women shouldn’t make excuses not to cook for their husbands.

Fast-rising Nigerian singer Charles Chibuezechukwu, popularly known as Crayon, has disclosed that he was accommodated by his colleague and labelmate Rema for two years prior to his rise to fame.

Following his signing to Blowtime Entertainment, an imprint of Mavin Records, in May 2019, Crayon’s career soared.

Rema and Crayon are both artists with Mavin Records, and the two have worked on a number of tracks together.

The “Ijo Labalaba” crooner revealed in a recent interview with MTV Base Africa that Rema was significant to his successful career.

He said;

“On the fifth try, I had already met Baby Fresh, who used to work at Mavin. Juggling school and music simultaneously is quite stressful in Nigeria. Music alone is demanding,” he said.

Mother drags son to court for stealing family properties

A 30-year-old man, Tum Joseph, has been accused of stealing certain domestic and home articles from his mother and was charged before an Upper Customary Court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State.

Three counts of criminal intimidation, causing a disturbance of the peace, and stealing were brought against Joseph when he appeared before the presiding judge, George Gwani, on Tuesday.

Bridget, the defendant’s mother, who resides in Ungwan Fari, Kafanchan, reported the incident to the Kafanchan Divisional Police Station on July 7, as stated by the prosecution’s attorney, Esther Bishen, who testified in court.

According to Bishen, the complainant was taking care of her hospitalized husband when she learned that her son had taken certain belongings out of the house.

One mattress, two canisters of herbicide chemicals, ten yards of wrapping paper, and some of her husband’s clothing were among the things she identified as having been taken. During an inquiry, the defendant’s mattress was located.

The defendant also disparages and calls his mother names, the prosecution continued. According to her, the offense violates the terms of sections 378, 76, and 270 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law. However, Joseph entered a not guilty plea to the accusations.

In order to allow the police to summon witnesses to support its case, the prosecution asked the court for an adjournment.

Justice Gwani, who delivered the verdict, gave the defendant bail in the amount of N20,000 and a surety in the same amount, who had to be his uncle. He put the proceedings on hold until September.

The recent graduate, known by his TikTok handle @cee_jay__2, posted a video showing his father surprising him with these extravagant gifts for graduating with a first-class degree and being the top student in his school.

In what appears to be a response to Tonto Dikeh’s remark, Ini Edo said on her Instagram page that people can try to ruin one’s reputation or tarnish one’s personality.

However, she pointed out that they can’t take away one’s good deed since, regardless of how they portray them, people who genuinely know you better would still acknowledge them.

She shared an image with the write-up;

“People may destroy your image, stain your personality but they can’t take away your good deeds because no matter how they describe you. You will still be admitted by those who really know you better.

Sensational Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, has shared how her eyesight got worse after having a baby three years ago.

It will be recalled that the ‘Duduke’ crooner and her singer husband, Adekunle Gold, welcomed their first child, Adejare, in May 2020.

In a recent video posted on social media, Simi revealed that her eyesight has not been the same since she got pregnant and gave birth to her daughter.

She said she used to have perfect vision before having her daughter, but her eyesight started getting worse afterward.

About three months ago, it got worse and she began to see double. She said she had to do an eye scan to unravel the cause of her sudden poor eyesight.

Following the hospital visit, the doctor suggested she gets glasses to help improve her vision. According to Simi, she was not happy about the new development because she had 20/20 vision before pregnancy.

The man shared his dilemma with his friend, Human rights activist Comrade Israel Joe, who relayed it on Facebook on Monday, August 7.

According to him, the man asked him to help tell his wife to move on with her life because he doesn’t intend to return to Nigeria.

The man also mentioned that he’s okay with his wife getting married to another man, and that he’ll keep sending money to support her and their children.

He wrote,

“A lot of the men who travelled out of the country in search of greener pastures are not returning to the Nigeria. I feel pity for their wives who keep waiting endlessly thinking that, the monies being sent by the husband for her upkeep and that of the children still signifies commitment to their marriage,” he wrote.

This guy of mine, has told me that he can never return to Nigeria. He said he doesn’t know how to tell his wife to move on with her life, but he would still keep sending monies for her and the children.

He said he is aware he won’t return but in future, he would make way for his children to meet him up over there. Funnily, he said that, if his wife got married and wants to come abroad with his children, he can create a way for her and her new husband but not now. Like 10 to 15 years later.

Wømęn should be aware that some of these men who travelled out of Nigeria, are still always been helped there by some other women citizens in those countries. They should try to have genuine discussions with their husbands so that, they do not wait into regrets.

Grace Makun, the sister-in-law of Nigerian comedian and actor AY Makun, has posted a video showcasing the aftermath of the fire that occurred at his home in Lekki, Lagos.

It will be recalled that the comedian faced a huge tragedy last Sunday, August 6, as his mansion was engulfed with fire, resulting in the loss of valuable belongings worth millions of naira. However, the cause of the fire has not been made public.

He has since released a statement that the fire did not claim any lives, as his wife and children are presently in the United States. He also revealed his plans to join them soon.

In a recent update, Grace, his sister-in-law, has taken to social media to show the extent of the damage done to the mansion following the fire incident.

Fast-rising singer, Boy Spyce has revealed that he once took out a loan to impress his girlfriend.

The ‘Carry Me Go’ crooner said this while discussing the “weirdest” thing he has ever done for love on Cool FM’s The Big Friday show, which is hosted by media personality. Tacha.

Big Brother Naija “All Stars” housemates, Whitemoney has reportedly lost his verified Instagram account with 1.9 million followers.

A concerned Nigerian shared a post on Twitter, alerting everyone that Whitemoney’s Instagram account, had been compromised in the middle of the night.

She said that the hacker, a white boy, had started posting his own photos on the account and made it private.

She wrote;

“Is WhiteMoney’s team awake? His 1.9 million followed account has been hacked by some guy and he’s uploading pics already!!

The hacker has also put whitemoney’s verified account on private, Omo its the fact that the boy waited for 12am naija time when people are sleeping to do this. Kai!!!”

A middle-aged American lady who is a fan of pop star Beyonce has shocked netizens after she quit her job to attend the Grammy Award winner’s concert.

She had requested Paid Time Off (PTO) at her place of employment in order to attend the concert, but her employer rejected her request.

She quit and rushed to the performance venue with a poster reading, “I did not allow my office to break my soul,” a statement taken from Beyonce’s song, feeling the need to demonstrate her support for Beyonce.
