A school teacher identified as Pope Itodo has narrated his interaction with a woman, who he dumped after three days of texting because of her terrible punctuation.

The young man vented on his Facebook page about his stressful talking stage conversations with the woman.

Itodo claims that in three days of messaging her, the woman has not used a single punctuation mark. Without the punctuation, he continued, her texts caused him a headache as he tried to understand the proper sense of the statement.

“I know I just met this babe but I can’t do this anymore. Three days of chatting and she has not used a single comma, full stop, or even question mark! She will just say “Have you eaten”. What is that? Are you asking a question or telling me something!? Am I asking for too much? I am not even saying you should use anything fancy like a semi colon, hyphen, or exclamation mark! And apart from lagos all states in Nigeria are proper nouns! What is abuja?” he wrote.

An African woman has made a public appeal to men to come and take their grown-up daughters who are ready for marriage.

She lamented over the scarcity of husbands in the society whereas there are many beautiful women between 27 to 34 waiting for them.

In a video making the rounds online, the mom said a lot of African mothers like herself are tired of their daughters being at home and single.

She asserted that those young ladies who post photos of themselves with their boyfriends at resorts and pools are deceiving people with ‘fake bae’.

The woman asked where the men are and wondered why it is difficult to locate them even as girls have been searching.

She pleaded with dads to allow their boys the freedom to find marriages and return home. She claims that moms have been praying and that their prayer books are completely filled.

A Nigerian man has bemoaned his failure to buy a Sallah ram this year and his wife’s unwillingness to cook for their children or communicate with him.

The man, whose identity remains undisclosed, had an unbroken tradition of buying a ram for each Eid celebration over the past 12 years.

However, in 2023 he was unable to continue this custom due to financial issues, including rising debt and the children’s tuition.

A public official named Abdullahi Misilli posted the story on Twitter, attributing it to the journalist Lawan Bukar Maigana.

The man voiced unhappiness in his wife’s lack of sympathy and assistance during this trying time while remaining anonymous.

He stated that his wife’s actions revealed her lack of affection for him even though he had 100,000 Nigerian Naira in his possession and that she had never supported him in times of difficulty.

Abdullahi wrote;

“Yesterday, a married man, after listening to BBC Hausa news, told me that his wife has stopped talking to him and refused to cook for his children since the first day of Sallah because he didn’t buy a ram for her.

Shortly, two of his children came and asked for money for breakfast. He got upset but I calmly calmed him down. He then gave them some money and they left.

He explained to me that he’s been married for nearly 12 years and never passed Eid without sacrificing but he contemplated this year because he has a huge debt to pay coupled with the school fees of his children. Yet, all his wife wants was just a ram and she didn’t care what happens thereafter.

“I have 100k in my pocket. I would go buy a small ram for her but Allah knows that my wife doesn’t love me because she never supports nor helps me in difficult times.”

The married man concluded that he would have divorced her long ago if not because of his children.

A Nigerian techie has shared the terrible tale of how a motorcyclist he trusted and sent on errands, recruited armed bandits to assault him at his house.

The man revealed on the microblogging platform, Twitter that he was so kind to the rider that he even gave him another motorcycle to use for his business.

He claimed he was astonished when the motorcycle rider approached him and requested instruction on how to commit online fraud, often known as “Yahoo Yahoo.”

He stated the motorcycle rider indicated he was often at home and made a significant amount of money, leading him to suspect fraud.

He said two months after, the same motorcyclist he had always trusted, organised people to rob him in his house.

He wrote;

“Years back When I started making a little cash from Tech, I started staying indoors more.

So I opted to have a personal bike guy ( my worst mistake ).

He ran my errands & I was so nice to this dude, even bought him a new bike & gave him huge tips, he knew my home in & out, dude approached me later & asked if I was some yahoo boy & needed me to teach him cos I stayed indoors more but had funds to spend. I repelled anyways.

Neighbors warned me & My sixth sense gave me this hunch to get him off, but laziness no gree cos this dude could climb the mountains to go get anything I wanted.

Fast forward two months, my home got robbed, You ain’t gonna believe, this dude I was super nice to was the one who instigated robbers to come rob me, this took me from 100 to zero.
