A Governor Will Die In 2016 – Apostle Johnson Suleiman

apostle-suleiman

If prophesies coming from the spiritual leader of the Omega Fire Ministries are anything to go by, then the Nigerian political class is in for many tragedies in 2016.

According to the president of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, who spoke in a statement signed by his media adviser, Mr Phrank Shaibu, said the nation will witness many heart rending political developments this year.

The cleric said a sitting governor of one of the 36 states of the federation will not see the end of the new year, declaring that, “we have to pray, if not a governor of one of the 36 states may not see the end of 2016, ” in a prediction which is one of his 30 Shocking Predictions for the Year 2016.

He also predicted that scores of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministers may be absent from cabinet meetings for a good part of the year for health related issues.

According to him: “ I don’t see some Ministers in President Buhari’s Cabinet in office in 2016. They will be abroad for medicals”.

Apostle Suleiman also warned the United States of America against possible terrorist attacks in the cities of Washington and New York.

He also predicted the possibility of an epic political upheaval in the United States, the outcome of which may be unimaginable. He said President Barack Obama may seek a third term in office, a move which will throw up issues relating to marital laws.

Apostle Suleiman also said the United States may go to war with Russia in 2016.

Some of Apostle Suleiman’s predictions below:

1. If Americans don’t pray, there will be no election in 2016 as Obama wants a THIRD TERM. He will throw up issues relating marital laws.
2. I see a Governor in Nigeria dying.
3. I don’t see some Ministers in President Buhari’s cabinet in office in 2016. They will be abroad for medicals.
4. I see another World War (Russia Vs America)
5. Washington and NewYork should pray against terrorist attacks in 2016
6. Boko Haram has devised new strategies. They will come to public places screaming for help and when people gathers to assist, they blow off the bomb.
7. I see Warri, Delta state being bombed.
Apostle Suleiman who is reputed for predicting the death of Prince Abubakar Audu, the All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant in Kogi state.

In an interview with a national newspaper last month, Apostle Suleiman said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration will fight Christians.

“Pray For President Buhari” – TB Joshua Reveals 2016 Prophecies

joshua

– There will be large scale scarcity, shortage of food. As a state, country, continent, we have to go back to the farm to arrest, to alleviate the forthcoming situation.

– Some countries will suffer excessive rainfall while others will suffer drought.

– I encourage the governments of all nations to invest in agriculture and to grant loans to deserving citizens to augment this effort.

The continent of Africa. How much have we disappointed God.

– Africa is supposed to be the breadbasket of the world. We are supposed to produce a large quantum of food for the world. This is our natural resource base. Food should be our primary export to other continents. Food in exchange for technology.

Politics

– African leaders should quickly arrest the political situation.

– More African countries will be under siege by terrorists because of pros and cons in choosing leaders. Mishandling of electoral processes will create a conducive atmosphere for terrorists.

– Politics will not be business as usual because of limited resources. There will be no profit in investing in politics because of governments’ limited resources and challenges.

– This now gives grace to those who are genuinely called to the job. When you are genuinely called to do the job, you will do it because of your love for it and not because of money.

– This year, do what you love. There’s money in love. Money in love brings peace and tranquility.

Pray for President Buhari
He has good intentions. A king’s intentions cannot be carried out properly without the support of the subjects. He needs your support, to lead us out of the valley.

The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader. But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist.

Nigerians, support and pray for your leader. The future is crying for help.

Open Letter To Davido

dav

By @disturbingafrik

Nobody hears the noise in the kitchen when the pot cooks the cocoyam until the pestle starts pounding it.

It came as a surprise to me that you, who so much avoid the press in every ‘izzue’ engaging you with women affairs since your success in the music industry, have solely reported yourself consciously, about an affair that happened more than a year ago with a woman, who is the mother of your child, and can’t be qualified as being educated as you.

Even after apologizing (and claiming to quit music over the ‘izzue’), I still don’t understand if you really want this ‘izzue’ you’re fighting for or if you only wanted a good time the night (or whatever time of the day) it started.

After reading all statements from you, the complainant Sophia, and her spokesman Dele Momodu, down to the social rants that intruded later on the subject matter, I felt like the DPO of a local police station, settling a case presented from the incidents of your nightmares. Firstly, this is a family case and has no right to attract the public interest.

Secondly, in one page, you ceaselessly pleaded for freedom more than Mandela and in another page reluctantly accepted blames on same ‘izzue’.

All your inviting proclaims on social media on the ‘izzue’ invited no one to think, but rather imagined you were idolized, seduced, raped and framed by Sophia, as no comment of yours has yet accepted the affair with her was mutual (as you claim the truth of the ‘izzue’ is yet to be known) – neglecting exposing secret lies of your baby mama’s lifestyle, an inferior to your class.

Telling me a lady took advantage of you, at your current age of 21, is a reason to forcefully take the resultant baby, is like stressing how you lost on Nairabet’s virtual game stakes because of incomplete time.

On a second thought, I believed in you when you had previous controversial cases involving Wizkid and Mc Galaxy. I’m about to believe in you not having a relationship with Sophia, as I’m thinking she neither agreed for you to use condoms nor contraceptives for her during and after your casual love making with her.

The partial responsibility you took on the ‘izzue’ by accepting to be paying Sophia three hundred thousand naira monthly made me believe you are a “money-miss-road” boy who is suffering from what his ignorance and carelessness caused.

Setting up this whole ‘izzue’ and ending it in hours made me assume you are calling on me to bear witness with you again after robbers attacked you in South Africa because of your “posting-cash-online” unrelenting habit.

This must have been a great burden for you as a young aspiring legend, who seeks a sketched career through a closed compass.

Regarding your recent song, ‘Izzue’, featuring Dammy Krane, your lyrics weren’t clear enough until now: you wanted no ‘izzue’, but a hide and seek game in which the lady can come to the bedroom and then you ‘izzue’ everything she requests for; right?.

This case is no different as it still baffles me how you neglected your own words and that of your family, only to hear mine. Social Services Organizations or Child Care Agencies should have been called upon to address this ‘izzue’.

It’s so sad to note that you have no better benefits from this taboo you called ‘izzue’ than worries, side effects, and confessions to proclaim.

Notwithstanding, this drama that has you as the main character with an online setting, has no direct positive moral lessons for youths or aspiring musicians who tend to follow your lead, but affirmed the fact one must be preyed by the present hardship in Nigeria.

Your first class grade in the university couldn’t guarantee that you’re educated, as you played a vital role in demoralizing Nigerian youths through this unwanted drama. It all reminded me you have to reap what you sowed.

Just a word of advice, focus on your work and stop jumping about, except you’re ready to marry – women are valueless distractions to a growing music career. Lastly, I hope you drop your childish characters this year’s end, since you believe a 21 year old can’t take decisions until 23.

MUSIC: Baseone – “Skon Skon”

image-1 (1)

AQUILA RECORDS’ lyrical machine-gun, popularly know as BASE ONE is definitely not on to sleep on as he releases two new singles titled “SKON SKON” & “WEYRE RE RMX”.

BASE ONE comes on strong in a different light from what fans are used to on a dance beat laced by Aquila Records’ resident producer, PHANTOM. This one is for dance enthusiasts and is sure to rock dance floors in Nigeria and beyond. SKON SKON is mixed and mastered by T FRIZZLE.

On the monster remix to the hit single WEREY RE, Base One features hiphop heavyweights PHYNO & OLAMIDE to deliver arguably the best hiphop collaboration of 2015. The song is produced, mixed and mastered by XBLAZE.
I released two songs, one featuring two of the best Nigerian rap artists, called ‘Weyrey Re O remix’ and the other one for my fans to dance to, called ‘Skon Skon’, because they both have different rhythms and different directions, coupled with the fact that they both promote my alter ego, the MAD-MAN”, saysBase One.

2015 has indeed been a good year for BASE ONE with acknowledgements and recognition for notable names like MI, Don Jazzy and Funke “Jenifa” Akindele, crowned with a nomination for Headies Rookie Of The Year alongside Pepenazi, Ycee, Young GreyC, Humblesmith & Koker.”

“She is Engaged To One Man and Pregnant For Another! Please Help

Black woman hugging her knees

From a Blog Reader.

I am desperate and need honest advise from Matured people. I met this wonderful 32yr Old French guy in a party in PH, we exchanged contacts and we started dating almost immediately.

I like him but I don’t love him, but he loves me and can gladly die for me.

Sometimes I feel sorry for him when he begs me not to leave him. he left Nigeria 6months later and has been gone for 2yrs and all these time we talk, Skype and bbm round the clock so it felt like he is still here.

He even shares his salary with me monthly.

He proposed to me last year, I accepted he sent down a ring which I have never worn because I know my heart still yarns for a man that I will be crazy over.

A man that I can die for. so I met this young politician that I have known all my life but never talked to. he asked me out, I accepted and we started dating, he was nothing like my fiancée, he didn’t care how I feel, hardly calls, always busy. so disrespectful, I guess the heart is foolish because I felt for this politician in 1wk what I couldn’t feel for my fiancée in 3yrs.

I was happy, I was in love, I had everything I wanted. I couldn’t tell my fiancée because I was afraid he would have a heart attack to I just kept in there hoping that when my new girl proposes I will eventually let my French guy go either by changing my contact or somehow. but I realised this month that I am pregnant. I told my bf but the next morning he uploaded a pics of he and his gf. I almost died.

I pinged him to ask what’s up and he boldly told me it’s his gf. I have never been so heartbroken, what do I do with the pregnancy, what will I tell the French guy, where do I go from here.

I just got admission for my Msc in September in Uk. my fiancée will certainly meet me up before 1 week of my arrival. please people help me.

The Top 14 Things Buhari Said During First Media Chat

buzz

President Muhammadu Buhari held his first Presidential Media Chat on Wednesday fielding questions about some of the key issues in the country from the whereabouts of the Chibok girls, the Nigerian Army-Shiites clash and pressure to devalue the naira.

Here are some key comments by the President:

On the clash between Shi’ites and the Nigerian Army in Zaria and his silence

i. I have allowed the army and the Kaduna State government to come up with their reports before I come out to speak on the clash. This does not mean that the police and the DSS are not doing their part.

ii. The situation in Zaria is very serious… How can one group create a state within a state?

On the state of tertiary institutions

I don’t like the idea of University students sitting on windows to receive lectures.

On whether he actually promised to pay unemployed youths N5,000

I cannot come here and deny that.

Foreign exchange restrictions

I. We need power, railways, roads… These are our priorities; not people looking for money to bring in rice (to the country).

II.Foreign exchange will be made available to the productive sector of the economy and not for luxury items.

On calls for the devaluation of the Naira

I need to be convinced about devaluing the Naira.

On asset declaration

I declared my assets four times… I don’t have to ask them (Code of Conduct Bureau) to give you the asset declaration… You have a constitutional right to the documents.

On the continued bomb attacks in parts of the North-East

I. The Hijab will have to be banned if this (the suicide bombing) continues.

On the debate about fuel subsidy

By the end of the next quarter, we will not be talking about subsidy. How much is the price of

fuel (in the international market) now?

Reported plans by the National Assembly to spend billions on cars

I cannot see the National Assembly spending N45bn to buy cars on top of the transport allowance they collect.

On the pace of the anti-corruption war

I. Our major constraint is that accused person must go to court first and under such circumstances, we cannot prejudge what the courts will do but there are documents and how the government will react through the Ministry of Justice will determine what we will do because what we are going so we cannot determine issues while they are still in court.

II. If any member of my cabinet is corrupt, I will sack the person.

III. Members of the cabinet are supposed to declare their assets.

On whether funds have been recovered from looters

I. Money has been recovered but the fact that whatever we recover will end up in court because Nigerians will always want to know the truth and the truth will be what the courts have discovered by the submission made to them in terms of bank statements where money was recovered, where money was lodged, when it was lodged, how it was lodged whether it was money from petrol, customs and excise or money directly from the Central Bank. When we do that I think Nigerians will feel a bit better.

II. It is a very nasty situation that we are in, but we cannot fold our hands and not do anything; we are doing our best.

Chibok girls

We are keeping our options open. We are prepared to negotiate with boko haram for the girls… There is no firm intelligence where those girls physically are and what conditions they are in but what we learnt from our intelligence is that they (terrorists) kept on shifting them around so that they are not taken by surprise and they get freed. And a whole lot of them are not in one place and we don’t know how many divisions they have and where they are. There is no intelligence to say that the girls are alive and in one place. That is the honest truth.

On the agitation for Biafra over alleged marginalisation

We have boko haram and then Biafra. Help me define the extent of marginalisation. Who is marginalising them? Why? How? Do you know? … The constitution said there must be a minister from each state. Who is the Minister of Petroleum? Is he not Igbo? Who is the Governor of Central Bank? Is he not Igbo? Who is the Minister of Labour? Who is the Minister of Science and Technology? Who is the junior minister of education?

On the continued detention of suspected looters and alleged violation of court orders by the DSS

You can see the type atrocities that those people committed against soldiers and the country. The former president goes to the governor of the Central Bank and say, ‘give N40bn to so, so, so… And then he fails to account for it and you allow him to go and see his daughter in London while and you have two million people in IDPs, half of them don’t even know their parents. Which kind of country do you want to run?

And the one you are calling Kanu. Do you know he has two passports – one Nigerian, one British – and he came to this country without any passport?… There are criminal allegations against him and I hope the court will listen to the case.

Of course English can be confusing, especially how a female fan keeps arguing with me about the use of “in” and “at” for “Locations”.

Anyway, MC Ukwa gave some convincing yet hilarious Examples on why English is a stupid language, and of course I had every ounce of belief to believe him. You see what I did there? hehe..

Davido Child abduction Scandal: What really happened – By Dele Momodu

Dele-Momodu

In September 2015, I got a call from Dr Adedeji Adeleke, a long time family friend, telling me his son had fathered a baby girl with my cousin, Sophia Momodu. I rejoiced with him as any reasonable soul would do.

He apologised that he had not called all along because he wasn’t sure if Sophie’s baby was going to turn out a fake one like that of two others who had turned up at his doorstep. But mercifully, according to Dr Adeleke, Sophie’s baby passed the DNA Test by over 98 percent and he was elated.

I congratulated him again as a proud grandfather. He said he would like to meet me with Sophie since Sophie’s dad, Uncle Jibola Momodu, passed on years ago and Sophie mentioned me as her cousin.

I had known about Sophie’s baby through her first cousin Ruth Abraham and had called to congratulate her. I was happy when she sent me pictures of the baby and other romantic pictures with David Adeleke, aka Davido.

But I never contacted David’s dad deliberately so as not to create the impression of begging for marriage. Where we come from, it is the man who approaches the lady’s family to plead to be allowed to marry into the family

Prior to this phone call from Dr Adeleke, Sophie had narrated to me how on the 11th July, 2015, she was tricked to Davido’s sister, Coco Adeleke’s house with her baby, Imade Aurora Adeleke.

After getting to the house on Baderinwa Alabi Street, Lekki Phase I, Lagos, her baby was forcefully taken from her and she was thrown out of the premises with the threat that she would be decisively dealt with if she ever bothered to return there.

There were armed policemen in the premises and to avoid what could have been a messy encounter, instinct prevailed on her to make her leave her breast suckling baby behind, with so much pain in her heart.

By daybreak on the next day, Sophie was again at Coco Adeleke’s house to take her baby, but she was prevented by armed policemen from gaining access into the house. She was again threatened and warned never to return for the child.

Despite the pain and trauma my cousin was made to undergo, I restrained myself from getting directly involved in the matter and appealed to her to stay calm and take it easy with the Adelekes.

dav

But after the phone call from Dr Adeleke, precisely on September 10, 2015, I picked up Sophie and her mum and drove to Dr Adeleke’s home in Lekki, Lagos. All through this time, I had waited patiently to meet Dr Adeleke with questions probing for answers.

Dr Adeleke invited two of his close friends to the meeting namely His Majesty OBA ADEDOKUN ABOLARIN and Mr Wale Adeeyo. We went into lengthy discussions. His daughter Coco had brought in the little baby and both attended the meeting.

Dr Adeleke explained why it took some time to call me and I said I understood.

Dr Adeleke said the baby was discovered to have traces of marijuana in her during medical test and said he believed Sophie and David were smokers and he needed to protect the child from two irresponsible parents, as he described them. He told the gathering that the baby would be under temporary custody and observation.

He directed that Sophie would come to his house every Sunday to see her baby. Our family agreed. He promised to pay Sophie a monthly upkeep. We thanked him for his kindness. He promised to buy her a car. We were grateful for his generosity. We had dinner with him and left. David was not present.

Sophie said she got the monthly upkeep but never got the car and that she prefers to have her baby back and the Adelekes can keep their money.

I called Dr Adeleke and he said I should allay her fears. I pleaded again for patience. I was shocked when Sophie called me desperately and said her daughter was being taken to Dubai by Coco. I immediately called Coco and she said she was taking the baby for intensive medicals and I wondered how she would pass through the airport without the consent of Sophie but she actually did and even sent me pictures from Dubai. I played it cool and encouraged Sophie to calm down.

Sophie became withdrawn and extremely saddened. The situation went from bad to worse. She and David became aggressive enemies. At a point, David sent messages to Sophie and using the ‘f’ word against me. His father was shocked and called him to apologise which he did and I accepted and even told him how much I love him.

The worst came when my wife came from London and went with Sophie to check on the baby at Coco’s house and they were literally walked out and told they were not welcome in her house. My wife called and I called Dr Adeleke who said they should go to his house and wait for him.

Their meeting did not go well because my wife asked when the baby would be returned to her mum and Dr Adeleke went into the same old story of marijuana abuse and Sophie said she was ready for a test which Dr Adeleke wasn’t interested in.

Dr Adeleke explained why the car had not been bought and my wife told him the baby was the issue and not the car. Dr Adeleke didn’t like the sound of this but it was reaching a point that some truth needed to be told that a baby cannot be bought with money.

I flew to Nigeria on December 28, 2015 after Sophie told me the Adelekes were travelling to Dubai with her baby without her consent again.

As soon as I landed I called Uncle Wale Adeeyo, a close confidant of Dr Adeleke and expressed our displeasure at the way Sophie was being treated and he promised to speak to Dr Adeleke. When he came back to me he didn’t sound too positive. We spoke several times and nothing tangible came out of his supposed intervention.

I called Oba Dokun Abolarin but he was busy at a wedding in Ibadan. I then called Uncle Wale again and told him Sophie has plans to stop the trip on the knowledge that David has collected an American passport for the baby and the rumour that the baby was being abducted to America. I pleaded that we should avoid a confrontation.

I headed to the airport to alert the authorities including Immigration and Emirates. As predicted, the Adelekes arrived the airport with the baby where Immigration had laid in wait for them.

Coco came forward and was asked who the mother of the baby was and she claimed ownership and her passport and that of the baby were taken away by Immigration.

Her dad was alerted and he came to the office of the Comptroller with others to try and rescue the passports but the Immigration stood their grounds.

I saw him making frantic calls but he gave up after the flight departed. He repeated the same boast that no one could ever take the baby from him and I told him to stop talking like God.

No one likes a fight but we have been treated shabbily and had to stop the charade. We could not be intimidated and everyone at the airport expressed shock and horror at such a brazen attempt to export a human being only seven months old without the mother.

We thanked the officers who rescued us from a powerful family. We are always for peace, justice and equity. No one threatened the Adelekes with any expose unless they were using reverse psychology.

Personally, I’m not a junk writer and would never descend so low to abuse those permanently connected to us through an innocent baby.

We love the baby like they do and such an innocent child deserves to be protected by both families.

Read Davido’s Babymama’s Petition Against Him and His Family

dav

Davido’s babymama Sophia Momodu’s lawyers has written a petition addressed to the Director General, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, accusing Davido and his family members of “attempted child trafficking and abduction of (Davido’s daughter) Miss Aurora Imade Adeleke“.

Read Below:

December 30, 2016
The Director General
National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons
No. 2028 Delaba Street
Wuse Zone 5
FCT, Abuja

Dear Madam,

PETITION AGAINST MISS ASHLEY COCO ADELEKE & MR ADEDEJI ADELEKE FOR ATTEMPTED CHILD TRAFFICKING AND ABDUCTION OF MISS AURORA IMADE ADELEKE

We act as Solicitors for Miss. Sophia Ajibola Momodu, (hereinafter referred to as our client) whose instructions we have to forward this petition to your esteemed Agency.

Our client, a 27 year old, is the biological mother of a baby girl with name, Aurora Imade Adeleke, who was born on the 14th day of May 2015. The baby’s father is Mr. David Adedeji Adeleke (aka Davido). The father and mother are unmarried.

On the 11th July, 2015, our client was tricked to visit the house of Mr. David Adedeji Adeleke’s half sister – Miss Ashley Coco Adeleke’s with her baby, Imade Aurora Adeleke. After getting to the house on Baderinwa Alabi Street, Lekki Phase I, Lagos, our client’s baby was forcefully taken from her and she was thrown out of the premises with the threat that she would be decisively dealt with if she ever bothered to return there.

There were armed policemen in the premises and our client’s survival instinct prevailed on her to make her leave her breast suckling baby behind, with so much pain in her heart.

By daybreak on the next day, our client was again at Ashley Coco Adeleke’s house to take her baby, but she was prevented by armed policemen from gaining access into the house. She was again threatened and warned never to return for the child.

Since July 2015, our client, who has now become so disorientated, saddened and confused has been going to family members, including her cousin, Mr Dele Momodu, and other well meaning Nigerians to intervene and allow her get her baby back or at least allow her to be able to have access to and care for her daughter.

This was frustrated by Coco Adeleke, David Adeleke and their father, Mr. Adedeji Adeleke. These people boasted to our client and all her family and friends that our client is a nonentity and of little substance in Nigeria.

They also claim that they have the financial wherewithal and political and security clout to deal with her and her family anyhow and without any consequence with the aid of their brother and uncle, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, and other friends Mr Deji Adeleke purportedly has in government. In a bid to justify their actions, Mr Deji Adeleke and his daughter, Ashley Coco Adeleke, have been spreading several malicious and unfounded allegations about our client.

While the attempts at finding a peaceful and lasting solution were still ongoing, on Tuesday the 29th December 2015, Ashley Coco Adeleke and her father, Mr Deji Adeleke, tried to travel to Dubai with our client’s baby.

The baby was meant to be flown out of the country with Nigerian and American passports. Prior to that date, our client and her cousin, Mr Dele Momodu, had gone to alert the immigration services at the Murtala Mohammed, Ikeja International airport of the likelihood of Ashley Coco Adeleke travelling with our client’s baby by pretending to be the Mother.

Our client believes that her baby’s American passport was hidden and is now likely to be in possession of Mr Deji Adeleke or Ashley Coco Adeleke.

It appears that the assistance of Emirates Airline was sought as the baby’s American passport was not produced in breach of aviation regulations. Neither was a letter of authority from the mother to confirm her consent to the trip produced despite the airline being alerted.

When Mrs. Modupe Mofikoya, the immigration officer who attended to the Adeleke travelling party accosted Ashley Coco Adeleke and asked for the mother of the baby, Ashley Adeleke claimed that she was the mother. Immediately, the immigration officer on duty collected her Nigerian international passport, she quickly absconded from the scene with the baby and her father, Mr Deji Adeleke, showed up shortly afterwards to try to clear his daughter’s mess.

Our client with the help of her family members, including Mr Dele Momodu, determinedly resisted the attempt by Miss Ashley Coco Adeleke and her father, Mr Deji Adeleke, from taking Aurora Imade Adeleke from Lagos yesterday. Our client believes that the pair are trying to take the child to America and thus put her out of the reach of the biological mother.

At the moment, Miss Ashley Coco Adeleke and our client’s daughter, Aurora Imade Adeleke

are still in Lagos and two of their respective international passports are in the custody of the airport immigration services. Our client’s fear now, is that Ashley Coco may use her Nigerian passport and Aurora Imade’s American passport to travel through other Nigerian or West African airports.

We know that the actions of Mr Deji Adeleke and Miss Ashley Coco Adeleke contravene many provisions of the law. One is Section 13 of the Childs Right Law 2007 of Lagos State (as adapted from the Federal Act), which guarantees Aurora Imade Adeleke’s right to parental care and protection.

That law also forbids separation of a child from her parents. Another is Section 24 of the same law, which also prohibits abduction of a child from the lawful custody of her parents. Neither Mr Deji Adeleke or Ms Ashley Coco Adeleke has any lawful right to the custody of Aurora Imade Adeleke.

Even the unmarried father, Mr David Adedeji Adeleke, only has limited rights to the child and certainly not to the exclusion of our client, the natural mother as the Adeleke’s are trying to do.

We are of the sound view that your Agency is the most viable organisation that can intervene in the plight of our client and save her from the untold trauma that she is going through in the hands of Mr Deji Adeleke and Ashley Coco Adeleke, who has her own child that she keeps with her. We have advised our client about the statutory powers of your Agency to potently investigate and enforce all the provisions of the law that deal with abduction and trafficking in persons.

We urge you to use your good offices to intervene in the case of our client and protect a baby who should still be under her mother’s care from being abducted and smuggled abroad.

We thank you.

Yours faithfully,

O. AJAYI & CO./Gbolaga Ajayi Esq

Barcelona Football Club Hires And Fires Player On The Same Day Over Old Tweets.

Barcelona FC

In what I refer to as life’s twisted irony, a soccer player’s old tweets came back to haunt him when Spanish champions Barcelona hired and fired him on the same day.

Spanish national daily sport newspaper Marca reports that Sergi Guardiola, 24, made the dream move Monday from AD Alcorcon to the Catalan club’s B side which is renowned for cultivating future international stars .

But tweets posted from his account during the 2013 El Clásico clash between Barcelona and arch rivals Real Madrid were soon dug up.

They included insults to his new team, its star player Lionel Messi and the Catalonia region of northeastern Spain as a whole. The tweets read:

“I wouldn’t have Messi in my team; he spoils the way the team plays,” one of the messages attributed to Guardiola states. “Up Real Madrid, and the hell with Catalonia.”

A Barcelona statement said:

“FC Barcelona has decided to terminate the contract signed with Sergi Guardiola, after finding that he had published offensive tweets about the club and Catalonia,”

Guardiola, later claimed a friend had posted the tweets as a joke.

“I want to make clear I didn’t write those tweets. A friend took my phone and did it. It’s a misunderstanding,” he told the Spanish radio station Cope. “The tweets are from 2013, a joke from a friend, I didn’t even know the tweets existed.”
“Now I’m going home, we’ll see what happens,” he added.

“Buhari To Borrow N5bn Daily Fund 2016 Budget” – PDP.

Buhari 2D

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that President Muhammadu Buhari‘s administration would need to borrow at the rate of about N5 billion everyday in 2016 to fund its N6.08 trillion budget.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, on Tuesday, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, said:

“Some people may be wondering why we raised an alarm about the budget. The reason is simple. When we analysed the budget, we discovered it is an attempt at a Keynesian economics of applying deficit spending to stimulate growth even when studies have proven that GDP growth rates decrease by over 50 per cent when debt goes from low or moderate to high. But then, we know the borrowing here is to pay huge campaign debt and fund a political war chest.

By every standard, this budget is a booby trap against the nation. When you break down the proposed N1.84 trillion borrowing, you discover that it amounts to borrowing N5 billion everyday for the 365 days in 2016. The questions are: for what specific projects are they borrowing N5 billion per day and how do they intend to pay back?

“The president should explain to Nigerians how they intend to pay back the loan. Is it by continuous borrowing to service the interests, and does he intend to accumulate colossal debt for future generations of Nigerians? “The truth is that this administration cannot justify this proposal. There is no known economy in the world where you can justify borrowing N1.84 trillion without specific projects and precise repayment outline. This is worse still in an oil-driven, mono-economy at a time crude oil is selling at $30 per barrel and is speculated to go down to about $20 or even lower in the next one year. “The idea can only come when you diversify the economy and boost production capacity in manufacturing and other critical sectors, a direction, which the budget clearly failed to provide.”

“FG Still Searching For The Chibok Girls” – Lai Mohammed.

Lai Mohammed

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has restated commitment of the Federal Government to tracking and locating the missing Chibok girls.

Mohammed, who spoke during Channels TV, Sunrise programme via phone stated that:

“We are a bit constrained. I know that some countries have set certain fire around the Sambisa forest in order to smoke out the Boko Haram insurgents but we are being careful because we are still looking for the Chibok girls and we do not want unnecessary collateral casualties.

“I know that many of our neighbours like Mali and Niger have employed certain procedures because of our major objective that we are still looking for the Chibok girls, so in some parts of Sambisa forest, we cannot adopt such drastic approaches.”

He continued:

“People must own the war. They must report suspicious movements and complement efforts of the military. How many bars or football viewing centres in Lagos can you secure? No, but if you have enough information to beef up the security, it would help,”

“That is absolutely incorrect. It is possible for insurgents to lay ambush on the road. It doesn’t mean that they are in control of those local governments. I travelled 89 kilometres from Maiduguri to Bama.

“We are not saying we are going to route or eliminate ambush or attacks overnight. It’s never done in any insurgency but what we are just giving the fact, less than a year ago, the entire north east was almost in their control, today they don’t have that kind of command. It’s just about one local government that they have swayed at all,”
