Speaking with Media on Tuesday, December 15, D’banj said said several musicians come to his house, listen to songs he is recording or recorded and get inspired by it.
He said:
“I didn’t know about the message from DeeVee but the truth is the truth. My house is open; I have songs you guys have not heard. I have songs that I’m about to release with producers you guys have asked me to work with. From time, anyone can come into my studio and listen to our songs and not just Olamide can come in. To me, it’s not stealing, I see it as inspiration.
“This particular one, this is a line I have been saying for a long time, “Shake it, don’t break it, it took your mama nine months to make it.” I actually heard it from Prince Aremo Oniru. Even Baddo (Olamide) had played about it saying, “Baba if you no use this line I go use am o” but I said I go use am.”

As humans we live to co-exist but in our relationships with one another, we can’t help but step on one another’s toes whether knowingly or unknowingly.
Our celebs are not left out, after all they are still humans and that is why we want to look at those who were at loggerheads this 2015.
Keep in mind that some of these issues have been resolved
This has got to be one of the biggest beefs that had us all talking when former label mates Wizkid and Skales went at each other’s throats on social network, Twitter.
What caused the ruckus? Skales accused Wizkid of being fake and oh my, Wizkid’s body shake no be small.
Accusations flew left, right and center and we sure can’t forget the part when Wizkid said he would help Skales finish his dead career.
Interestingly the man who brought both of them together, EME boss Banky W was silent through it all.

A 24-year-old man who stopped traffic on one of Houston’s busiest highways to propose to his girlfriend may not get the happy ending he was hoping for.
Houston Police Department spokeswoman Jodi Silva confirmed Vidal Valladares will be charged with obstruction of highway, which is a Class B misdemeanor. Silva said the charge is now winding its way through the Harris County court system.
He will have the option of turning himself in, filling out the paperwork and immediately getting bonded out, she said. It was unclear if the soon-to-be-wife or the friends who helped block traffic will be charged, as well.
In a video posted on Instagram, Valladares enlisted his friends to stand in front of lanes of traffic while he proposed to his girlfriend Michelle Wycoff in the middle of the highway near downtown Houston. “I just wanted to do something different,” Valladares said.
To get to a party Valladares made up as a ruse, the couple took the highway, which is one of Wycoff’s favorite spots. Valladares took her on a motorcycle ride on freeway on their second date.
That’s when Valladares told his girlfriend of a year and half to get out of the car.
“I said, ‘Are you serious?'” Wycoff said. “Then I saw all my family and friends with cameras and I looked where Vidal was and he was down on one knee.
“Honestly, I didn’t think about if it was a good idea or a bad idea. I was just so happy in the moment. I love him so much.”
Valladares said his friends and family, who were following closely behind, stopped traffic for about 35 seconds while he popped the question
“I never really thought about causing an accident. I thought about my girlfriend,” he said.
The hopeless romantic posted a photo of the proposal to Instagram with the caption, “When you shut down one of the biggest and busiest freeways in the entire country (I45) and you ask your girl if she wants to marry u, That moment is priceless love u #shesaidyes.”
While the hashtag implies she said “yes” and a hug quickly ensued after he dropped to one knee, The video can be viewed on Instagram.
The charge came hours after Houston Police Department said they would not seek charges against the couple because police were not called to the scene and the situation was cleared before police could see it on patrol.
“It appears we were not called to the scene and it more than likely happened quickly before our officers saw it on patrol,” HPD spokesman Victor Senties said. “While we’re happy for the couple, this is not something we would want to encourage anyone to do. People could have lost their lives stopping on the freeway like that.”
However, that won’t necessarily be the case for any copy-cats.
“If there was a similar scenario and the officers were called to the scene to witness it, the officers would tell them to clear the roadway and if they refused, they could be arrested with blocking a roadway, which is a Class B misdemeanor,” Senties said.
Texas Department of Transportation agreed that the act was both against the law and dangerous.
Residents of Atele Street in the Anibaba community, Ikorodu, Lagos on Tuesday woke up to find two nude women lifeless, who were dumped by the roadside.
The women, whose identities had yet to be known, also had their breasts cut off, while their private parts were also removed. Hmmm…what a mess!
According to Punch, the shocked residents tried in vain to locate the families of the deceased women. Some of the residents said the incident was the second time in two weeks that mutilated bodies of women would be found in the area.
It was earlier reported that six women were found dead in a canal in the area on Saturday, December 5.
It had been reported that the decomposing corpses were thereafter removed by officials of the Lagos State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, and deposited in a morgue in Yaba.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joe Offor, had told Punch that the relatives of the women had yet to show up, adding that the police were investigating the cause of the women’s death.
On Tuesday again two women were found by the roadside, stripped and mutilated. What is going on?
The PRO of Lagos Ministry of Heath, Mrs. Adeola Salako, confirmed the incident. “You are right about the two new corpses,” she said in a text message.
I Will Proceed to Supreme Court Following Appeal Court judgment – Wike releases statement:
The Appeal Court Panel presided over Justice Dongban Memsem has ordered the re-run of the Rivers State Governorship Election within 90 days. However, my legal team has concluded plans to appeal the judgment to the Supreme Court.
I had earlier approached the appellate court to set aside the judgment of the tribunal, arguing that the lower court failed to consider the evidence – that a proper election took place in Rivers state on April 11 – tendered before it.
A Zimbabwean police officer who was caught sleeping with another man’s wife was given the worse kind of punishment when the husband and a mob forced him to drink his own semen that was contained in the condom he used.
The cheating cop, Edward Zinamo, 36, was caught red handed with the married woman, Evangelista Banhu, 29, in Southlands Park, by his lover’s husband, Nicholas Maga, in his matrimonial bed at midnight following a tip-off by his neighbours who often noticed the cop sneaking in whenever the man was at work.
On catching the adulterous duo, Maga, a truck driver, called for help from his neighbours who responded quickly and confiscated Zinamo’s Police uniform before giving him a thorough beating.
He was then forced into swallowing his own semen while the cheating woman was forced to put on Zinamo’s uniform.
Maga narrated how he caught the cop with his wife to MyZimabwe thus:
“I learnt from my neighbours that the police officers always came to my house to meet my wife and sometimes slept till very early morning whenever I was not around.
My neighbors informed me about Zinamo’s numerous visits at my house in the dead of the night and I disguised that I was going on a trip only to return and found the two busy in the bedroom.
When I caught him with my wife, I called for help from our neighbours as he threatened to stab me with a knife and he manhandled me as he tried to escape naked.
I discovered two used condoms and this is not her first time to be caught with a boyfriend and my relatives once forced her to pack her belongings.
At first I had no evidence but now I have witnessed it and I will hear from my in laws for way forward.”
His wife who admitted to cheating on her husband, said it was because he was no longer supporting the family, instead spending money on his girlfriends.
“My husband has since stopped supporting the family and he always arrives home late even if he is not on duty and has been doing this for the past two years in our 10 year marriage.”
Zinamo also confirmed that he was actually caught with another man’s wife but said that if the people force the woman on him, he would gladly have her as his second wife.
“I won’t lie. I was caught with my lover who is another man’s wife and her husband and the crowd took turns to beat me up. If they force me to take the wife, I will gladly take her as my second wife.”
The Court of Appeal has said that Nyesom Wike, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in this year’s election, was not validly elected, thereby affirming the judgment of the Rivers Governorship Election Tribunal.
The Rivers Tribunal had earlier on October 24 nullified Mr. Wike’s election.
The tribunal, which delivered its ruling in Abuja, also ordered that a fresh governorship election be conducted in the state.
After the tribunal’s ruling, the governor headed to the Court of Appeal, saying the judgment was untenable.
The petition challenging the election of Mr. Wike as Rivers State Governor was filed by Dakuku Peterside, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, in the election.
The Rivers governorship election, which was criticised by local and international observers, witnessed the largest amount of violence both in its build-up and after the elections.

A 200-level university student, John Ekefre, has been admitted into the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital after policemen from the Iponri division tortured him and damaged his intestine.
He was said to have been operated on to rectify the internal injury and to remove “the blood clots” that blocked his chest as a result of the torture.
His elder sister, Mercy Ekefre, told our correspondent, who visited LASUTH on Tuesday that the family had spent over N200,000 on John’s treatment.
“The doctor said his intestine was ruptured and that he had a blood clot. He had a surgery and we are still awaiting the medical report,” she added.
It was learnt that John, an appendicitis patient who works in a cinema house in Surulere, and four other friends were going for a church programme tagged, The Experience, organised by the House on the Rock at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island, after they had closed from work around 11pm on Friday, December 4.
Our correspondent learnt that John and Anthony Kenkwo, a graduate of a university in Imo State, had waited for three other colleagues, Michael Peter, Godwin Ekeji and Joy Imoh on the fateful day so that they could go for the programme in a group.
It was said that on getting to the Costain area, the vehicle that the young men boarded ran into gridlock and they decided to alight from the commercial bus.
PUNCH Metro gathered that they were walking by the roadside when they were arrested by the policemen, who accused them of robbery.
John, 22, said he and his friends showed the cops their identity cards, but were rebuffed. He said the policemen beat him to a coma when he demanded to know what their offence was.
He said:
“I work at a cinema in Surulere. We were on afternoon duty that fateful Friday. We closed around 11pm and left for TBS to attend a church programme – The Experience 10.
“When we got to Costain, we alighted from the bus we boarded because there was gridlock. About five policemen on patrol stopped us and we told them we were going to the church. They searched our bags, but nothing incriminating was found there. They forced us into their bus. We showed them our identity cards, but they ignored us.
“On our way to the station, I asked them what our offence was and they said we were highway robbers. When we got to the station, they dragged me down, beat me up and one of them hit me in the stomach with the butt of his gun.
“They said I was too inquisitive. The following day, they collected N6,000 from my brother before I was released.”
Kenkwo said a policeman pummelled him when he complained that their arrest was not justified. He said he eventually parted with N5,500 before he was release.
He said:
“It was a bitter experience. Every Friday and Saturday, we run late night shows. After the close of work, Ekefre and I waited for three other friends from Apapa so that we would go to the programme in a group. The traffic was hectic that night and we decided to disembark from the bus because the guys with us looked stern.
“I also asked the officer who took my statement what I did. But he responded with punches. It was while I was in the cell that I started bleeding from the nose.
“They charged me N10,000 for bail. It was after my brother bargained with them that they collected N5,500. They collected N5,000 from Godwin (Ekeji’s) family, but Joy, the only female among us, was released free.”
Peter told our correspondent that the policemen collected N8,000 before he was released.
Godwin could not be reached but Ekefre confirmed that his (Godwin’s) relatives paid N5,000 for his bail.
A lawyer and President, Citizens Rights Defenders, Chief Gabriel Ojumah, said he had, in a petition dated December 14, urged the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, Federal Ministry of Justice and the National Human Rights Commission “to investigate the matter and bring the erring policemen to book.”
Calls made to the line of the Lagos State police spokesperson, DSP Joe Offor, rang out. He had also yet to reply to a text message sent to his number as of time of filing this report.

From the mouths of babes. It used to be so great to be a little kid because you could say the absolute truth and not really get in trouble for it, because you were three and everyone thought it was so adorable that you announced that mom’s mouth smelled really bad.
Oh, laughs around the room. Of course if any of the adults had announced that mom’s smelled like shit, all hell would have broken loose.
But there is something so innocent about small children, that they get away with saying whatever is on their mind and there are no real repercussions. Toddlers for President! Haha
1.

A jealous boyfriend tried to drown his girlfriend’s puppy because he believed the dog was getting more attention from her than he was.
The Old English Sheepdog called Benji later died.
Anthony Bruce, 19, was sentenced to 16 weeks in a young offenders’ institute for his treatment of the dog and was banned from owning animals for life.
Denise Jackman, prosecuting for the RSPCA, told North Tyneside Magistrates Court the little puppy had suffered when its head was pushed under the water, Mirror UK reports.
Bruce told the court he realised he had gone too far. He also admitted encouraging the pet to eat toilet paper on three separate occasions, knowing the dog was unable to digest the material.
Ms Jackman added:
“Mr Bruce said his partner gave Benji more attention than she gave him. “When he was giving him a bath, he became agitated and held the dog’s head under the water until he was unconscious. He said he was jealous of his partner’s contact with the dog.
It’s a statistical fact that developing country, South Korea has one of the highest suicide rates in the world. The country is said to be giving its people lessons on how to appreciate life – by shutting them inside coffins.
According to Mirror.uk, the bizarre idea has seen major companies ask workers to lie down in wooden coffins, then the lids are closed.
Those taking part are expected to ‘play dead’ for around 10 minutes. Enclosed in darkness, they are left to contemplate the meaning of their existence.
An individual who partook said:
After the coffin experience, I realised I should try to live a new style of life,” one worker, Cho Yong-tae, told the BBC as he emerged from a casket.
“I’ve realised I’ve made lots of mistakes. I hope to be more passionate in all the work I do and spend more time with my family.”
A former Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Mr. Segun Fabunmi, was yesterday sentenced to 10 years in prison for manslaughter. This followed the fatal shooting of Ademola Ade in the January 9, 2012, Lagos fuel subsidy protest.
Justice Akinlade also found Fabunmi, a dismissed chief superintendent of police (CSP), guilty of shooting and injuring three others; Alimi Abubakar, Egbujor Samuel and Chizorba Odoh.
She sentenced him to five years on this count, but both sentences are to run concurrently.
Fabunmi, of 12 Oyewole Street, Ogudu, Lagos, who joined the police in 1984, was arraigned on May 5, 2013, by Lagos State on a seven-count of murder, attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm.
At the time of the incident, the defendant was the DPO of Pen Cinema Police Station, Agege. He led his men to Yaya-Abatan in Ogba, following reports that there was a disturbance and hoodlums were holding people hostage.
The ex-DPO testified that when he got there, the hoodlums threw bottles, sticks, cutlasses, stones at him and his seven colleagues.
Fabunmi said during the attack by the mob, his rifle, containing 60 bullets, went off. But he denied shooting the deceased or anyone else.
The judge rejected defence argument that the shooting was the result of an accident as the defendant struggled with the mob to re-possession his rifle.
The deceased, a fashion designer, was shot in the thigh and was rejected at a hospital for want of a police report. The other three had testified that by the time they were taken to Ikeja General Hospital it was too late.
The deceased bled to death before treatment could begin.
