Nollywood Actor turned Model, IK Ogbonna who recently did a low key wedding ceremony in Belgrade, Serbia on June 29th this year and there matrimony has already been blessed with a child, he revealed how he met his Colombian hottie wife, Sonia!

How did IK’s love story with the mother of his son start? Read what the handsome actor told NET recently:-

‘Basically a friend of mine met me on set and we were talking about me finding a woman, and I think at that time I was out of a relationship and he was trying to advise me to look for someone and I was not even in a hurry to look for someone. I basically asked God to direct me to someone I want to be with because I really don’t enjoy the habit of changing women. When I date someone, I date you with perspective of future, I have the consciousness of, you know, wifing you once I start dating you, but the whole dating process is to understand if you are compatible and see if you can live together.’

Speaking further, he hinted that, ‘I am not really a fan of divorce. So I have always been someone that would be very careful to choose a wife to make sure that she’s a person you won’t regret marrying at the end of the day. So she pointed out this girl to me that was her friend on Instagram. So unconsciously, I was following her and liking all her pictures because she is a pretty woman with a lovely shape,’IK extolled his wife

And concluding the story, the award-winning actor disclosed that, ‘I left her page and later she followed me back. It was very funny because when I saw her the first thing I told my friend was I was going to marry her. That was how it started. We started talking, we met each other and after dating and courting we realised that we are almost like a twin. She can complete me, she knows every little thing I am thinking of, she knows what I am about to do next. She’s like that, she trusts me a lot and I trust her too. Basically we are all about positivity and building each other mentally and spiritually.’

A man’s post about hilarious reasons that makes his wife cry has gone really viral.

My wife cries at absolutely anything. I mean, ANYTHING,’ he wrote on Imgur and Twitter accompanying the image of his list.

Aaron Gillies, from London, observed that his wife of one year, Lex, cries over everything and decided to share his amusement.

The 28-year-old, also known as TechnicallyRon on social media, wrote a nine-point list of things that had reduced Lex, 31, to tears.

According to Ron, his wife recently teared up because ‘she found out swans can be gay and thought it was really nice‘ and she also cried because ‘she watched a video about a dog‘.

The post was retweeted over 30,000 times on twitter and the video on Imgur has over 4 million views

“How Abubakar Audu Died” – Brother Speaks.

Younger brother to the late All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, revealed he died shortly after the results of the governorship was announced.

Alhaji Tijani Audu (pictured above) revealed that his late brother died after the Returning Officer, Prof Emmanuel Kucha, declared the election inconclusive, and not on Sunday morning as being reported.

According to Daily Trust, he told journalists that the late politician had listened to and watched the collation of the results before he died.

He said:

“I was with him when the whole thing started. I was told in the morning of Saturday that he was sick and I called him to confirm but he said he was okay and would be coming to vote by 1pm, and he came without showing any sign of sickness and we went together to vote.

“But the following day (Sunday) by 10 am, I went there to see him and his children said he was having health challenges and was weak, I even advised that after the announcement of the result he should go abroad for treatment”, he said.

He said Audu lived and fought for his people and would continue to be remembered for his sacrifices and doggedness.

Reports have it that a middle aged Kenyan man simply identified as – Christopher Bodo (Pictured Left) allegedly battered his wife black blue after suspected and accused her of infidelity.

According to Diana Okello, a Kenyan women rights activist who shared the photos on her Facebook wall, after attacking his wife, Bodo stripped her naked and raped her in front of their four children and house help.

The case has been reported at a Kenyan police station but he has not been arrested.

A lady on twitter, @sugabelly, has tagged the deceased Kogi state governor and APC guber candidate, Audu Abubakar, and his children, monsters.

In a series of tweets which she made available to a lawyer on Twitter, @echecrates, she narrated how she was allegedly raped by the family of the late APC gubernatorial candidate in Kogi state.

@sugabelly had taken to her twitter page to reveal how happy she was when the news of Audu’s death broke. However, her followers took up the tweet, chastising her for rejoicing over the death of another human being. She decided to burst the bubble by telling the allege rape story. Saudi Arabia Sentences Palestinian Poet To Death For Renouncing Islam

Saudi Arabia has sentenced a Palestinian poet to death for renouncing his Muslim faith.The execution order was handed down to Ashraf Fayadh, 35, by a judge on Tuesday, The Guardian reports.

Adam Coogle, Middle East researcher for Human Rights Watch, told Reuters he had read the trial documents, which make it “very clear he has been sentenced to death for apostasy.”

Fayadh was arrested by the country’s religious police in 2013. In 2014, he was tried in court and sentenced to four years in prison and 800 lashes. But the verdict was appealed, and another judge handed Fayadh the death sentence.

While Saudi Arabia is a major U.S. ally against violent Islamic extremists, its justice system is based on an extreme interpretation of Sharia law.

Fayadh’s conviction appears to be based on evidence from a witness for the prosecution who said he heard the poet cursing God, Islam’s Prophet Mohammad and Saudi Arabia, and on the contents of a poetry book he wrote in 2008, according to Reuters.

Fayadh’s supporters say, however, the government is punishing him for publishing a video that shows the religious police, known as the mutaween, publicly lashing a man in the city of Abha, southeastern Saudi Arabia.

The poet was a leading figure in the country’s contemporary art scene and had curated shows in Jeddah and at the Venice Biennale before he was arrested, The Guardian said.

His Instagram account, last updated more than two years ago, shows a man with a playful sense of humor, and a love for art, animals, sunsets and American music.

“I was really shocked but it was expected, though I didn’t do anything that deserves death,” Fayadh told the The Guardian after his sentencing.

Nigerian rapper, Naeto C has responded to reports that his marriage slowed down his career. The father of two who got married in 2012 dropped his first album in three years ”Festival‘ this month.

He told Encomium though he hasn’t released a song as great as 10/10, it has nothing to do with getting married.

I got married in July 2012. Later that year, I released Tony Montana. The song did a lot for me. I have released songs with Phyno and Flavour. At least, I release two, three singles every year. The truth of the matter is that, I am a Nigerian artiste not a Lagos artiste. We have fans all across Nigeria.

Sometimes you will realize some songs are bigger in the East than in the West because of that, when you are getting an opinion from someone from the West, to have a holistic view you need to understand that some songs are big in the West and they might not be big in the East.

After I got married, I was a Glo ambassador for two years. I am now Yudala ambassador. I have always had stuffs going on. I think if people say that marriage has affected my career, I think what they mean is that since I got married, I have not released a song like 10/10. But the truth of the matter is, you cannot do a song like 10/10 again. 2Face cannot do African Queen again. Wande Coal cannot do Bumper to Bumper again. That is the way music works. I am happy that 10/10 made a lot of impact on my career. My job is to continue to work hard, make more music.

Now that you are married, do you still have time for your female fans? How did they react when you announced you were getting married?

I got text messages showing disappointment. A good friend of mine who is also a musician told me that when he got married, he lost some fans and also gained some. Some didn’t want you married. They want to fantasize on the possibility of being your woman. I got married because I found a friend, a companion that I want to spend the rest of my life with. That was the best decision I made. It made me a better person. I take pictures with my female fans, I sign autographs with them, anything outside that is inappropriate.

If you were not married, would you be in the league of artistes with baby mama?

No, people intentionally want baby mama for their own reasons. At times, it is accidental. Part of the reasons I decided to get married when I did was because I didn’t want to find myself in that situation. I don’t believe in raising kids out of wedlock, it is not easy. It is very difficult. If I wasn’t married, I would be more concerned about settling down than having a friend who will give me a baby.

She wrote her reason for taking it off and her experience. Read below:

THE BARBERS SEAT:The first time I cut my hair was when I was nine. I had been giving my mum hell on sunday evenings when it was time to get it woven for school. She just decided to put an end to my nonsense and took me to Baba Barber in Obalende . I remember being strapped to his squeaky old ,reclined metal and torn brown leatherchair … It must have taken four adults to hold me down .
I can never forget.. How can I ? Baba gave me the full treatment . He was determined to impress my mother . He not only shaved off all my hair ..
He took off every strand that lined my face and replaced it with a sharp concave line from ear to ear with his manual rusty clippers .. I was devastated . I walked into class the next day greeted with what sounded like a silent but long eeeeeeew from every one . The experience marred me.. I’ve seen baba in a few nightmares attempting to dispossess me of my Afro .

So imagine my horror when my hair started dramatically falling out two months after my boys were born . I was deluded by someone who told me I was lucky to be carrying boys as ‘boys don’t take you hair away ‘ they give you even more .. She was right.. Intially at least ..Never had better hair than when I was pregnant .. So slowly but surely Baba barber was beckoning another visit .. But I decided that this time around ..it was going to be on my own terms ..

I was going to love my scalp back to a happy place and then cut hair myself when the time was right … Just to start over. Today was that day ..a shoot didn’t happen so I had a lil time in my hands I chopped it all off.. ??Not with old rusty clippers but my own scissors ..It makes me look even more like my mum.. So will I be missing my big fro?Absolutely!!But then again ..I’m a Nigerian oman in 2015 and I watch YouTube ??I know a thousand ways to get that baby bouncing in air again ..In a heartbeat .. I’ll just have fun with this in the mean time. I think I did better than baba barber tho.

Kim Jong-un has allegedly condemned his right-hand man who dared to defy him, new reports claim. North Korea’s dictator has sent Choe Ryong Hae (pictured with Kim), a popular member of his inner-circle, for “re-education“.

It is understood that Choe Ryong Hae may have defied Kim Jong-un, who over the past 18 months has brutally executed many of his high-ranking military and political chiefs.

Those sent for “re-education” are usually subjected to brutal psychological torture.

In line with the order last Wednesday by the Court that the Department of State Services (DSS) must produce embattled Director of Radio Biafra and Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, he was finally arraigned on Monday, in an Abuja Magistrate Court, Abuja.

He is said to be looking unkempt and hasn’t had a haircut or shaved since his arrest on the 18th of October…

Following reports that state governors claim they can not afford to keep paying the 18,000 minimum wage, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, yesterday warned that attempts by the governors through the Governors’ Forum to renege on the N18,000 national minimum wage was an open declaration of war against the Nigerian workers.

NLC, in a statement by its factional President, Mr. Ayuba Wabba, told the governors to prepare for war and organised labour would have no alternative than to mobilize to respond appropriately to this act of aggression by the political class on workers’ welfare.

The statement reads in part:

“The Nigeria Labour Congress is shocked by the statement credited to the chairman of the Governors Forum, Governor Abdulaziz Yari, that the N18,000 national minimum wage promulgated into law in 2011 was no longer sustainable because of the fall in the price of crude oil. The governor, who was speaking on behalf of his colleagues at the end of a meeting of the forum, also claimed that the national minimum wage was ‘imposed’.

“We wish to make it abundantly clear that this attempt to reverse the national minimum wage is a declaration of war against the working people of this country, and we would have no alternative than to mobilize to respond to this act of aggression by the political class on our welfare.

“For us in the Nigeria Labour Congress, we know as a fact that ability to pay minimum wages is not the problem of the economy. What is the problem for states and other tiers of government is the amount many political office holders and their unproductive aides take away as wages. For the private sector, the greed to accumulate more and more profit is also always a motivating factor to keep wages down.

The photo above shows the image of a man who has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes commission, EFCC, for allegedly withdrawing N45M which was mistakenly credited to his account.

A press statement by the commission reads:

The public is hereby notified that Jerry Ogbonna Obike Phillip, whose photograph appears below, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a case of stealing. Phillip allegedly withdrew the sum of N45, 000,000.00 (Forty Five million naira) which was mistakenly credited into his account in a new generation bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria before the money could be reversed to its rightful owner”

Ken Olisa Named Most Influential Black Man In Britain.

Businessman, Ken Olisa has been named the most influential black Briton on the Powerlist 2016 – the annual list of the 100 most powerful people of African and African Caribbean heritage in Britain.

Though he is fully British,he was born in 1951 of a Nigerian father and a British mother.

The 64-year-old businessman, who was also the first black Briton to serve as a director at a FTSE 100 company with Thomson Reuters, will receive the Powerlist 2016 award at a ceremony at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum on Monday night.

Olisa beat Lenny Henry , Sharon White, 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen and F1 champ World champion, Lewis Hamilton to the award.

“Call Father Mbaka To Order For Working Against Igbo Interests” – Bishop Tells Catholic Priests.

Few days after Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka said he would support pro-Biafran agitators only if “their sponsors take the lead in any protest,” the General Overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries (a.k.a By Fire By Fire), Nnewi, Anambra State, Rt. Rev. Bishop Abraham Chris Udeh has called on Catholic Bishops to call the fiery priest to order.

Bishop Udeh said Fr. Mbaka was dancing to the dictates of those he described as the ememies of the Igbos who also allegedly sponsored him to work against his Igbo brothers.

He claimed that Fr. Mbaka allegedly worked against former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 general elections leading to his loss, claiming he had started to work against the actualization of Biafra.

He said:

“It appears you people (the media) are afraid to tell Mbaka the truth. Why should he be working against Igbo interest and everybody will keep quiet. Even the Catholic Bishops do not want to call him to order. He is not talking prophetically. Is the Buhari he projected to succeed Jonathan working for the interest of Ndigbo? Can’t we reason? That is the question we should ask ourselves”,

He noted that Fr. Mbaka would live to see Biafra stand. The bishop said he will continue to support the agitation until the Igbo marginalization was addressed.

He lambasted some Igbo leaders for keeping quiet over the arrest and continued detention of the Director of Radio Biafra, Mr Nnamdi Kanu “because they are contented with their political positions and the crumbs from the table in Abuja.”

He said those politicians were only after their own pockets and not the interest of the Igbos.

Kenyan Woman in Troube For scalding 6-yr-old son with hot iron

A Nairobi, Kenya based woman, Pauline Njeri Nganga, is in all sorts of trouble after it was revealed that she beat up her six-year-old son so bad and even used a hot iron to scald and disfigure him, Nairobi News reports.

The woman, according to the report, has remained bitter since she separated from the boy’s father and has been taking her frustrations out on the kid, assaulting him repeatedly leading to the child’s trauma.

Neighbours who live with Nganga at her Kahawa West area, say she has been beating up her son to the extent of the six year-old boy missing school often, after moving to the neighbourhood when she separated from her husband two years ago.

To lend credence to the report, Child Rights activist in that country, Diana Okello, shared the photo of the abused child on her Facebook page, with the scars looking very fresh.

A neighbour who witnessed the assault of the poor boy said Nganga came home drunk the night she brutalized the boy.
According to the neighbour, Nganga often comes home drunk and screams to her young son for not cooking supper.

“The mother (Ms Njeri) used to work in Nairobi. But since their company closed down she has been assaulting her son.

Apart from the boy, she has another younger kid and she has been assaulting her children for several months now and attempts to intervene have been futile as she has a don’t care attitude.

Neighbours involved Diana Okello whom I understand has since reported the matter to the police so as to have the mother of two arrested for assaulting her children,” the neighbour said.
