According to him, it was his first day at his new workplace. And as the newest staff he was called upon to lead the opening prayer. He tells them that he could not do it because he had deconstructed from Christianity and doesn’t believe in God. The staff expressed their shock and went ahead with the day’s activity. He came in the next day and was asked to check his Email. He checked and discovered that he had been sacked.

He claimed that even if he will have a rethink about going back to Christianity this particular experience would be a discouragement.
