Reality TV star, Whitemoney, has seemingly replied to those who questioned his source of wealth after he showed off his latest acquisition, a multi-million naira Maybach Benz.

The Big Brother Naija “Shine Ya Eye” winner spurred reactions online after he took to social media to flaunt the luxury whip.

You will recall that Whitemoney flooded his social media pages with photos and videos showing off the interior and unique features of the Maybach, which is worth millions of naira.

While many congratulated him on the purchase, the majority of others questioned his source of income.

Well, Whitemoney has now seemingly addressed his detractors in a new skit with media personality Nedu.

Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has revealed why she is rooting for the reelection of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Lagos State election is the most anticipated governorship election in Nigeria because of the fierce competition between the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jandor of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party.

Toyin, who had earlier revealed that Sanwo-Olu is her preferred candidate, has taken to Twitter to reveal why she is supporting his re-election.

She said she wants him to win the election and serve another term because he created an enabling environment for her career.

A video of the emotional moment popular actress, Seyi Edun, broke down in tears at the christening ceremony of her twins has been shared online.

Recall that the actress and her actor husband, Adeniyi Johnson, welcomed the set of twins last Monday after seven years of marriage.

Adeniyi shared the good news on his official Instagram page alongside a picture of his hand cuddling those of the babies.

In another post, the 44-year-old actor shared lovely photos from their maternity shoot, showing his wife cradling her baby bump.

The new dad also expressed heartfelt gratitude to God, and declared that God is never late because his plans are always bigger and better.

US-based Nigerian professor, Uju Anya, has responded to Nigerian men who criticize her for being a lesbian and claim that homosexuality is not African.

She revealed on Twitter that many of the women who slide into her direct messages to confess to being closeted lesbians are married women who are forced to stay in their marriages due to the society they live in.

She further revealed that some of these women, who are living in major African cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt and Nairobi, sometimes request to be hooked up with a gay partner online.

According to Uju, this negates the claim that homosexuality is not African because there are many gays who are hiding their sexuality in Africa.

She added that if Africans continue criticizing homosexuality, they will end up building societies filled with lies and misery.

Nollywood actor, Seun Jimoh has questioned the rationale behind women who date married men despite leaving their husbands over infidelity.

Taking to Instagram to share his observation, Seun said he has seen several cases of women divorcing their husbands because he cheated, and then proceeding to date a married man after getting divorced.

According to him, he doesn’t understand why such women would engage in an act that they once opposed.

The scammer claimed ‘she’ is not dead and that her son, Charles, abandoned her in a deserted Island so he could ascend her throne. He then asked for $300 as ‘transport fare’ to return back to Buckingham Palace in the UK

The rather amusing message reads,

“Hey, it’s me, Queen Elizabeth, I am not dead. Charles sent me to a deserted island so he could be king. I don’t have access to my royal money so please cash app me $300 so I can get back to the UK.

Tea and biscuits”

Reacting to this, Tochi expressed disdain at the imposter and called him a ‘psychopath’ for taking advantage of the Queen’s death.

Popular Nigerian dancer, Kaffy Shafau, has revealed that she will be withdrawing her daughter from Chrisland School following the death of a 12-year-old student of the school, Whitney Adeniran.

Taking to her official Instagram page, the celebrity dancer shared a video where she spoke on the unfortunate incident that led to the death of Whitney Adeniran and how the school handled the situation.

Recall that Whitney died during the school’s interhouse sports in February. The school had claimed she slumped; however, an autopsy carried out on her body to ascertain the cause of her death revealed she was electrocuted.

Reacting to the tragic incident, Kaffy bemoaned the school’s negligence and their lack of empathy in the video she shared.

According to her, the negative reports about the school are becoming too many, with the institution not showing any effort to make amends.

Speaking further, she revealed she would be withdrawing her children from the school even though she had already paid her fees.

In other news, the Lagos state government has denounced alleged intentions to exhume the corpse of Whitney Adeniran, the Chrisland student who was electrocuted while participating in inter-house competitions at her school.

Recall that her mother, Blessing Adeniran, claimed that the Chrisland School administration had contacted the cops and requested a new autopsy. This would imply that the late Whitney’s corpse, which was buried on March 2, would be unearthed.

The Lagos state Ministry of Justice has stated that it will oppose any plans to exhume the late Whitney’s corpse in a statement issued on March 4.

The statement read;

“The Lagos State Ministry of Justice is aware of the current ongoing dialogue about the alleged plans to exhume the body of the late Whitney Omodesola Adeniran, a student of Chrisland Schools whose death as revealed by the autopsy, conducted by Lagos State University Teaching Hospital was as a result of asphyxia and electrocution.
Whilst we have not received any such official communication requesting for exhumation, however if and when we do receive such a request, we shall be opposed to it.
In any event, the circumstances for exhumation under the Coroners’ Systems Law, 2015 do not arise in this
case.
Additionally, it is not our intention to further traumatize the deceased’s family.
We are working closely with the police who have given their reassurance that the duplicate case file would be forwarded on Monday, 6th of March, 2023 to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions to aid the speedy issuance of Legal Advice.”

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has paid a visit to Mrs. Jennifer Efedi, the lady who was assaulted while casting her vote in Surulere, Lagos.

Recall that Mrs. Efedi had gone viral after she went back to the polls to submit her ballot on February 25th, following an assault that left her with injuries near her right eye.

According to Mr. Obi, Mrs. Efedi served as his point of contact for other Nigerians who experienced a similar fate while trying to exercise their right to vote.

A Cameroonian man, Kwoyela Derick, has finally found love after years of being rejected by women because of his height.

The 39-year-old, who works as a teacher, met his girlfriend, Kahboh Patience, 28, in January 2022 and they started dating.

In an interview with MMI, Derick said he is madly in love with Patience and wants her to be the mother of his children.

“Her character attracted me. She is perfect because she gives me maximum respect and she is God-fearing too,” he said.

He said their community is quite intolerant to people with height defect like him, and most people don’t associate with him, talk less of marrying him.

According to him, Patience has received several negative comments from naysayers, including her friends, for her decision to marry him.

“One of our biggest obstacles was when we were planning to get married. Her friends and some people close to her were complaining and asking why she is getting married to short man like me,” Derick said.

Despite the criticisms and stereotyping, the couple have weathered all the storms together and are planning to get married.

“I have promised to take good care of my wife. I want our story to be an inspiration to everyone, including those who have lost hope in love. There is a chance and someone special for us all,” he said.

Their traditional wedding has been slated for April 6, 2023, in Bali Nyonga, while the white wedding ceremony has been fixed on April 8 in Bamenda.

On her part, Patience who is a seamstress by profession, said she is ready to stand by her man ‘for better and for worst.’

Teen bride loses her limb after her spouse attacked her with a machete

A 17-year-old girl identified as Malama Hauwa Mohammed, has lost two of her limbs after she was brutally attacked by her spouse at their house in Kebbi state.

According to Hauwa, she allegedly married her spouse against her will. She claimed that her spouse was always gone from the house for several months. On the day of the assault, however, he came home carrying a machete and struck her without warning.

Hauwa shared this with members of the state’s Expert Working Group on Gender-Based Violence, who paid her a call at the Federal Medical Center Birnin Kebbi, where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.

According to state government officials, the incident has already been officially reported to the police, and as soon as the offender is caught, inquiries will be conducted to determine the cause of his actions, and he will be prosecuted in court.

Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has asserted that the Nigerian movie industry is a danger zone for young girls.

The mother of two made this assertion in a video she shared on her Instagram page while sharing her encounter with a 14-year-old makeup artist she recently met on a movie set.

According to her, after engaging the little girl, the 14-year-old confessed to usually passing the nights with different people in their hotel rooms, some of whom take advantage of her.

Regina said she was very concerned for the little girl, as she also joined the industry as a young girl and is aware of the dangers of the industry for a child.

Regina, who declared Nollywood a danger zone, recalled how, as a child in the industry, her mother and actress Rita Daniels shielded her from being sexually molested by film directors.

She said that after she listened to the girl’s plight, she enrolled her in a boarding school in Delta State and was surprised to see how well she did in her entrance exam.

Regina berated her colleagues, who had previously turned a blind eye to the girl, and pleaded with them to, from now on, stand against child labor.

She noted that she has also vowed to fight against any movie producer who casts young children in their films.

A young lady, identified simply as Joy, has reportedly dumped her boyfriend after discovering his real name is ‘Bashiru’, and not ‘Bash’.

According to the lady, she had been dating her boyfriend for seven months and believed his real name was ‘Bash’ and that he was of Turkish descent.

However, she received a rude shock when her lover’s old friend came visiting and called him by his full name ‘Bashiru’.

According to her, she was appalled by this and felt angry that he lied to her about his real name for seven whole months.

She eventually broke up with him because she felt embarrassed by his name, and didn’t know how to introduce him to her friends with his name.

Her male friend took to Twitter to share the chat he with her in which she explained why she broke up with him.

Nollywood actor, Dave Ogbeni has sparked reactions online after he called out his female colleagues in the entertainment industry who are into sex work.

Dave, in an Instagram post, said many of his colleagues are not in the industry for the craft, but to sell their bodies.

According to him, Nollywood prostitutes need to be differentiated from authentic Nollywood actresses because their number is getting alarming at this point.

Chilling detail found in couple’s wedding photo months after their toddler passed away

A mother who tragically lost her daughter to drowning has revealed an unsettling yet heartwarming detail in a photo from her wedding ceremony.

Tahlia Murphy and her husband, Cecil, lost their 17-month-old daughter Taidyn Murphy, fondly called Totty, in September 2022 after she drowned in a jacuzzi at their home in Gracemere, in Queensland’s Rockhampton region.

Three months after losing her daughter, the grieving woman, who has three other children – Paityn, 12, Laikyn, 6, and Haivyn, 4 – got married to Cecil.

She revealed to Daily Mail Australia that the entire wedding ceremony was centered around Totty but she particularly holds one picture from the ceremony dear.

“Our whole day was for her, we had a big beautiful A3 picture of her, she had her own seat allocated and a bouquet done for her, our eldest daughter walked down the aisle with her ashes and some of her ashes were also put in my and my husband’s ring,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

Tahlia said she was so heartbroken that her daughter was not alive to witness the wedding until her friend spotted a small figure in one of their wedding photos.

In the picture of Tahlia and Cecil sharing a kiss on their wedding day, a shadowy figure can be seen hiding behind a tree in the background.

“One of my friends found it and they sent it to me with the figure circled and they said your baby girl was at your wedding day after all.

“I was laying in bed at the time and my friend had screenshot the picture and I was like ‘oh my god she was literally there’.

“I ran straight to my husband and we both had goosebumps and cried and said, ‘look it’s our Totty, looking on from behind a tree in a white dress.”

Tahlia, who was previously skeptical about the supernatural, said the picture confirms that her daughter was there at the wedding.

She further disclosed that the urn containing her daughter’s ashes is yellow and shaped like a butterfly, and everyday since she was cremated, they have been seeing yellow butterflies around the house.

“Without fail every day we have seen at least one and sometimes 10, 20 or even 50,” Tahlia said.

A businesswoman has recounted how her husband watched her put her life in danger to give birth in a dilapidated hospital when he could afford to pay for better health care.

The aggrieved woman, identified as @madamolu on Twitter, disclosed that she was forced to give birth in a rundown hospital due to ‘lack of funds’ unknown to her that her husband had money.

She said she was barely able to push the baby out but had to keep trying natural delivery because she thought they couldn’t afford a cesarian section (CS).

However, she received a rude shock when her husband, now ex, bought a landed property one week after she gave birth to their child.

Bewailing his selfish act, the woman wrote,

A Nigerian lady has recounted how she got pregnant three months after giving birth to her first child, a girl.

The new mother shared her experience in a video shared on social media, ahead of her son’s first birthday on Tuesday, March 7.

She said after she welcomed her first child, she started getting thinner but assumed it was because she was exclusively breastfeeding.

She said she kept losing weight without knowing she was already pregnant. According to her, she didn’t suspect anything because she had not started her period and didn’t exhibit any pregnancy-related symptoms.

When her daughter was eight-months old, she finally discovered that she was five-months pregnant and then registered for antenatal.

According to her, taking care of a toddler while pregnant was a dauting task but she managed, and eventually gave birth to her son on March 7, 2022.
