Big Brother Naija season 7 star and model, Beauty Tukura, has taken to social media to lament about a photographer charging her outrageously for a shoot.

According to Beauty, a photographer in Lagos billed her 250k per look, an extra 150k because he had to leave his studio, and another 100k because it was a weekend.

The model claimed the pricing was excessive because she had 3 looks planned and did not think it was wise to pay such.

She wrote;

“Lagos!!! LMFAO… I contacted a photographer to shoot & this is what he tells me…250k per look & an additional 150k because he’s leaving his studio and another 100k because it’s weekend. PS: I was gonna do 3 looks What are your thoughts?

Let me add that I didn’t contact him personally, someone on my team did so it’s not even a case of “celebrity price or whatever”. It sounds funny to me that I’m paying extra because first, it’s weekend and second, you have to move from your studio in this same Lagos.”

A South African lady, identified as Usisi Nandi, has sparked debate after she averred that men are the only ones in the world who still get married for love.

Usisi stated on Twitter that women have stopped marrying for love and only settle down with rich men in the hope of falling in love during the marriage, which elicited a variety of responses.

The controversial screen diva, who was taken by surprise by the generous gesture, took to her Instastory to post a screenshot of the credit alert.

The benevolent fan, who appeared to have been trying to get her attention, had slid into her DMs to request for her account details for a monetary gift.

Without thinking twice, the thespian sent her bank details and praised the fan for finally using the right strategy to get her attention.

The management of Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid, have reacted to claims that the singer will perform at a campaign concert for the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.

An alleged report had made rounds that the “Ojuelegba” hitmaker is set to preform at Peter Obi’s presidential campaign in Eagle Square, Abuja, a week to the presidential election slated for February 25, 2023.

Reacting to the alleged show, Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, has in a post shared on his Instagram page dissociated himself and the singer from the show, stating that it’s a scam.

He further disclosed that he is currently exploring legal actions to take against the originators of the fake report.

Sharing a photo of the flyer with “fake news” plastered on it, Sunday Aare wrote,

Recall that a week ago, his wife, Cynthia, disclosed that he was extremely sick but still managed to host the premiere of the reality show alongside South African media personality, Lawrence Maleka.

Taking to her Twitter handle, she lauded her husband, describing him as a professional to the core for graciously hosting the premiere despite being sick.

Ebuka has now taken to social media to confirm that he was indeed sick and lost some weight in the process.

He further stated that people tend to take being healthy for granted and urged them to be more grateful for sound health. He however did not disclose the nature of his ailment.

Popular Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Chidi Mokeme has opened up on why he took a break from the movie industry.

The thespian who made a comeback in the recently released Netflix series, Shanty Town, revealed he was battling Bell’s palsy, which made him stay away from the movie scene.

Speaking on Channel TV’s Rubbin’ Minds, Chidi likened the infection to stroke and explained that it caused one side of his face to droop.

He added that the doctors told him it was incurable, so he went through a lot trying to get back to his old self.

“I have been off the scene for a while after we did the promotional tour for 76. Before that when we were preparing to go to the UK on a trip for British International Film Festival. I came down with something called Bell’s Palsy. It comes like a stroke and affects one side of your face. And this was something the doctor said was incurable. They didn’t know what caused it and how to treat it. As an actor you can imagine what I was going through”. He said.

A Nigerian clergyman and Superintendent of Police, Davidson Rotshak Lar, have tragically passed away on Thursday, January 19 2023.

Though the circumstances surrounding his death are sketchy, Davidson, from Plateau state, was reportedly battling an undisclosed ailment and was set to undergo surgery before he gave up the ghost.

A year before his demise, the 51-year-old had taken to Facebook on January 12, 2022, to pen a poignant post about what will happen after his death.

The woman in a video currently making the rounds implores women to be more forgiving and to pardon their husbands when they apologise for cheating on them.

Popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo appears to have fallen out with her industry friend, comedian Princess.

This comes after Princess mentioned their phone conversation with controversial blogger Gistlovers.

The feud began on Sunday, when Princess hosted an Instagram live session with former Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar, during which she spoke extensively about her alleged affair with clergyman Apostle Suleman.

After the interview, Instagram blog Gistlover shared its chat with Princess, who disclosed that Iyabo Ojo called her on the phone during the live session with Halima.

Seeing the post, Iyabo was enraged that her friend, Princess, had relayed their phone call conversation to the blogger and took to her Instagram page to lambaste her.

Iyabo, who supported Princess during the “sexual assault saga” with actor Baba Ijesha, felt betrayed by the comedian’s action.

In a now-deleted post, Iyabo Ojo noted that she’s learned the hard way that she shouldn’t go over and beyond for anyone.

“O re ni wan…. I have learned this in the hardest ways… Never inherit anyone’s energy, never risk your life or take a bullet for no one & nobody. Never go beyond & above for anyone.. Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy, is currently in the news for a positive reason after he reportedly reimbursed a journalist who smashed her camera while rushing to interview him.

It was learnt that the journalist, said to be an intern, broke her Panasonic GH6 camera worth over $2,000 while trying to interview the Nigerian music superstar in Paris, France.

However, Burna Boy noticed the incident and instructed his accountant to gift the journalist some money to buy a new camera.

A Twitter news outlet who relayed the report wrote,

Nigerian skit maker, Aloma Isaac Junior, popularly known as Zicsaloma, has warmed the hearts of many after he gifted his old car to his friend and colleague, Maxcrony.

This comes days after he splurged millions of naira on a brand new Mercedes Benz. Recall that the content creator went online to show off his new whip last Friday, January 20, and described it as his “new baby”.

Zicsaloma has now gifted his old car – a Lexus SUV – to his friend. According to him, he had vowed to give out one of his old cars to any friend of his choosing after buying a new car.

He said he told God that the Lexus SUV would not spend another night in his house if he buys a Mercedes Benz, and true to his words, the 31-year-old comedian surprised his friend with the car.

Apostle Johnson Suleman reacts after being called out by Daniel Regha over assassination attempt that left 7 dead

Controversial Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman has replied Twitter influencer, Daniel Regha, after he called him out for not seeking justice for those killed during an assassination attempt on his life.

Recall that on October 21, 2022, unknown gunmen attacked the clergyman’s convoy in Edo state and opened fire at them, resulting in the death of seven persons including four policemen. Fortunately, the clergyman and his family escaped unhurt because they were in a bulletproof car.

At the time, Apostle Suleman claimed to know the mastermind behind the gruesome attack but refused to disclose their names. ICYMI, watch him speak here

Three months after the assassination attempt, Daniel Regha took to Twitter to call out the clergyman for not divulging the names of the criminals and failing to seek justice for the deceased.

“Apostle Suleman is yet to reveal the names of those who sent assassins after him; Seven people were sadly killed (RIP), but he’s not seeking justice for ’em. Why is he keeping silent about this? The authorities needs to bring him in for questioning, & update the general public,” Regha tweeted.

Reacting to the tweet, Apostle Suleman revealed that he has shared all the available information with the police, and they should be held culpable for their inaction.

He further berated Daniel Regha – known for giving his unfiltered opinion about celebrities on Twitter – for talking too much.

He wrote on Sunday, January 22, “Awon general public.
What can you do if you know them?..I have given detailed info to the police..I am responding to you cos of the lives that were lost whom I vow to fight http://for.so ask the police why they are silent.

A young woman’s thoughtful gesture towards her father has been met with conflicting views online.

The South African lady, a model, identified as Sisanda Nomusa Qwabe-Coutaud, recently took her father on an airplane for the first time and decided to post photos from the experience online.

The former Ms. SA Finalist 2022 shared photos of herself with her father aboard the aircraft via her Twitter handle and celebrated herself for finally ticking that off her bucket list.

Rather than being praised for her gesture, she was heavily chastised by netizens who questioned why she did not feel the need to give her father a makeover, including changing his clothes and getting a haircut, before taking him on the trip.

Well, reacting to the backlash, Sisanda, who insisted that there was nothing wrong with her father’s appearance, explained that he’s a member of Shembe Nazareth Baptist Church and has never cut his hair for more than 20 years.

Uzoamaka Ohiri, the estranged wife of popular comedian and media personality, Nedu Wazobia, has taken to social media to throw a subtle shade at him.

This comes after the talk show host made headlines after he claimed that he caught two popular influencers getting intimate with his rich friends at a hotel in Abuja.

Following Nedu’s revelation, which sparked a lot of controversy online, Uzoamaka shared a photo of herself with a caption that shaded her estranged husband.

“I made sure the door was locked… trust me!” She captioned the photo.

A while ago, Uzoamaka Ohiri, the estranged wife of popular media personality, Nedu Wazobia, shared a cryptic post moments after he unveiled his new woman.

Recall that the media personality on Sunday, January 8, unveiled his new partner months after a public spat between him and his ex-wife, Ohiri, over alleged domestic violence and paternity fraud.

Well, moments later, Nedu’s ex-wife, who had called him out over alleged domestic abuse in 2021, shared her thoughts on emotional abusers.

In the post that was shared on her Instagram Stories, she averred that emotional abusers usually appear to be nice to everyone except their victim.

She said they do this to make the abused appear like they’re lying about being victims.

Nollywood actress and disc jockey, Dorcas Shola Fapson, otherwise known as Ms. DSF, has recounted the moment her valuables were stolen while on vacation with her ex, Skiibii.

Recall that Ms. DSF told Toke Makinwa, the only explanation she could give for entering into a relationship with Skiibii was jazz because she experience a lot of terrible things in that short period but now she knows better. Read here

DSF has shared another one of her terrible experiences in an interview with media personality, Chude, detailing how she lost valuables while on a vacation to Zanzibar.

According to her, she lost everything on their first night in an inexplicable manner and Skiibii advised her not to raise an alarm about it or report it to her father, which she found very strange.

She also revealed that the singer claimed to have lost a watch in the incident but she saw him rocking the same watch days later, insinuating that he had something to do with her missing items.

DSF claimed that she had a lot of stories to tell but out of respect to some people she has refrained from talking about so much despite all the name calling she has received from Nigerians because she keeps talking about her ex and looks like a toxic personality.

A Nigerian woman has in a video shared online advised married women to stay in their marriages regardless of the challenges because there’s nothing on the street.

She said women should not allow marriage ‘advisers’ deceive them into leaving their matrimonial homes at the slightest inconvenience.

According to her, being single is not fulfiling otherwise popular actresses, Mercy Aigbe and Iyabo Ojo would have remained single, instead of finding a partner.

Recall that in 2022, Mercy Aigbe got married to her husband, filmmaker Kazim Adeoti, several years after her separation from her ex-husband, Lanre Adeoti.

Iyabo Ojo also recently unveiled her lover as popular Talent manager, Paul O, after years of being publicly single.

Citing these actresses as an example, the woman advised women to endure any issues they face in their marriages because there’s nothing out there.

The woman who spoke in Yoruba said,

“Don’t be deceive and endure your marriage no matter what, if street sweet actress Mercy Aigbe and Iyabo Ojo will not get married”.

American reality TV star and businesswoman, Kylie Jenner has gotten people talking on social media over the name she christened her son.

The mother of two, who welcomed her son in the first quarter of 2022, finally showed off his face for the first time over the weekend while announcing that his name is Aire Webster. This comes after she initially named him “Wolf”.

Following the announcement, her son’s name began trending online as netizens disclosed that “Aire” is a slang word for “Penis” in Arabic.

This sparked mixed reactions as some queried the 25-year-old socialite for naming her son “Aire” while others asserted that she might have to rename him again.

A tweep wrote, “Kylie named her son “aire” and it means something real nasty in arabic lmaoooo.”

Another wrote, “That poor kid is going to be renamed again.”

A third chipped in, “Kylie Jenner named her son ….. aire lmaoooo laughs in Arabic.”

However, the reality TV star who already has a daughter “Stormi” is yet to react to the critics.

Big Brother Titans housemates Olivia and Sandra got into a heated argument on Sunday, January 22.

The drama started after Biggie, in a new twist, paired each housemate with an opposite gender and revealed each pair will now work as partners for the rest of the game and suffer joint consequences, i.e., when one housemate gets evicted, the other automatically suffers the same fate.

Juicy Jay was merged with Olivia, while Sandra got Theo as her partner, but for some reason, it made Sandra worried.

As Sandra was telling some of their colleagues that she wasn’t too comfortable with the pairing, Olivia came around and burst into laughter, despite an initial warning from Sandra not to laugh at her.

Olivia’s laughter triggered Sandra, and she flared up. The two then got into a heated altercation in which they called each other unprintable names.

After the fight, Miracle advised Sandra not to get into a such heated exchange while reminding her that whatever she does will also affect her partner, Theo.

“Sandra don’t fight and if you want to fight go ahead but remember that what you are doing now is very selfish because it is not only your gain”. Theo is your partner, whatever you do reflects on him. Don’t fuck up his dreams because of just one moment. It’s not fair”. Miracle told Sandra.

Singer, Skiibii’s management breaks silence following Dorcas Fapson’s claim he stole from her

Nigerian singer Skiibii’s management has reacted after his ex-girlfriend, actress Dorcas Fapson, alleged that he stole from her during their vacation in Zanzibar.

Dorcas Fapson, who has severally dragged Skiibbii online since their split, implied in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo that the rapper stole 10,000 dollars and other valuables from her after she sponsored their vacation to Zanzibar.

She said during the vacation she remembered having a drink with Skiibi, and next she found herself in bed. She said that when she awoke, she discovered that her phone, laptop, 10,000 dollars, and other valuables were missing.

She revealed she suspected him when she noticed him wearing the same wristwatch he claimed was stolen with her valuables.

She revealed that her also warned her against sharing the incident online and convinced her to lie to her father about what had happened.

DSF took to her Snapchat after the interview went viral to further drag Skiibii into filth, sharing photos of the items he allegedly stole from her.

Reacting to the allegations against the singer, Skiibii’s management confirmed in a press statement that the pair had indeed gone on a vacation to Zanzibar, which was Dorcas’s birthday gift to Skiibii. However, contrary to DSF’s claim, the entire villa was robbed, and the case was handled by the police.

The statement also clarified that the stolen laptop was DSF’s old PC and that Skiibii had bought a new one for her before the trip.

The stolen rose-gold wristwatch seen on Skiibii after returning to Nigeria was revealed to be a replacement silver watch of the same brand.

“The matter was reported to the Tanzanian police immediately on 22nd June 2022 and statements of all the victims were taken, including that of Skiibi and his estranged lover.

Skiibii and his estranged girlfriend no longer felt safe in the said villa, accordingly, Skiibii booked and paid for a new villa for the rest of their vacation.

Upon their return to Lagos, Skiibii bought a new iphone for his estranged lover to replace her stolen phone. Prior to the trip, Skiibii had gotten his estranged lover a new MacBook pro laptop, which she did not travel with and as such, it was her old laptop that was stolen.” The statement read in part.

Big Brother Titans housemate, Jenni O, has disclosed that she currently owns a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE 250 but desires a better car.

The 25-year-old health and safety specialist, from Imo state Nigeria, made this revelation while having a chat with her fellow housemates in the kitchen on Sunday morning.

According to her, she presently drives a Mercedes Benz but hopes to buy a 2023 Range Rover Sport. She said she plans to gift her mother the Mercedes Benz after acquiring a new one.

The Chicago-based housemate further stated that she can’t live in some parts of Lagos because she’s not built for it.

She said she can only live in Ikoyi, VI and Banana Island, and can never live in Lekki because it “fucks with her skin”.

Jenni O’s revelation about living a flamboyant lifestyle outside the house appeared to cause tension among her fellow housemates.

A while back, four new housemates were introduced into the Big Brother Titans house to compete for the $100,000 grand prize.

The new housemates were introduced on Thursday night, during the house’s pool party. The new housemates, who were dressed in costumes with their faces masked up, came bearing gifts, as they had with them food and snacks in trays.

After they dropped the food, they remained standing and waited for Biggie’s instructions to take off their masks.

A siren went off, prompting them to take off their costumes and reveal themselves to the housemates.

The new housemates are; Miracle, Sandra, Blue Avia, and Theo Traw.

Former Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, has made new damning claims against popular clergyman, Apostle Suleman Johnson.

The squabble between Halima Abubakar and Apostle Suleman Johnson, the Founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, recently took a new turn as the preacher formally took the matter to court.

The preacher, through his legal representatives, filed a N1 billion lawsuit against Halima Abubakar, who has repeatedly claimed she had an affair with him years ago, over defamation of his character.

Following the lawsuit, Halima Abubakar, during an Instagram live session with popular comedian Princess, stood by her claim that she was romantically involved with Apostle Suleman, whom she fondly referred to as Johnson.

According to her, they dated for six years and allegedly had a total of three abortions together.

“Yes, I was once pregnant for him,” she said.

When asked why she did not keep the pregnancy, she said,

“When I lost the baby, he was crying, you would think it’s real because he was shedding tears that I lost his child. It’s crazy. I got pregnant three times for him. The last one got me bleeding…I had to take tablets to stop it…”

Speaking on how long it took the bleeding to stop, she replied, “for four years, I actually just came out since I have been in a long spiritual battle…the blood just stopped rushing, you won’t believe it.”

Halima Abubakar’s friend later joined the live session and corroborated her claims.

Halima Abubakar’s friend revealed that she knew the actress with “Johnson,” whom they thought was an oil and gas businessman based on how he introduced himself but who never for once mentioned himself as a pastor.

She also said she was aware of the three times Halima aborted for Apostle Suleman and when she began to bleed.

Stressing how hurtful Suleman’s denial is, Halima Abubakar’s friend stated that she was responsible for looking out for the actress in public whenever she had blood stains.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to reveal why he occasionally stops his wife from paying a visit to her parents.

The man, identified as Oistien van Mowo, explained that his wife had formed the habit of visiting her mother all the time because they live in the same city.

According to him, whenever he travels out of town for the weekend, his wife usually grabs the opportunity to visit her parents.

Mowo, who describes himself as a traditional man, said the frequent visits didn’t sit well with him so he decided to halt the visits.

He said he has stopped her on a few occasions, and it’s his own way of creating balance in his home.

“I have stopped my wife once or twice from visit her parent. Her mum lives in same city as we do, the first time of stopping her from going was because she was making it too frequent and any time I am out of town over the weekend she’s ready to run off. Trying to cut a daughter off from her parent is different to trying to balance things in your home,” he tweeted.

The lady, identified as @ruets4, had posted a photo of her holding a baby with a sexually-motivated caption which many found offensive to the child and its father.

“Chilling with his cum”, the young lady wrote in the post that has gone viral and amassed thousands of reactions.

The controversial tweet has sparked mixed reactions online as many criticized the lady for using a degrading word to describe the child, while a few others said they like her sense of humour.

A Nigerian lady has gone online to call out her father for allegedly sexually molesting and physically abusing her for years.

In a lengthy post shared on Twitter, the lady with handle @justsotired__ relayed the bad experiences she suffered at her father’s hand, and disclosed that he started molesting her at an early age.

She said when she reported him to the police at age 14, her father turned the police against her and she was locked up in a cell for a week.

She further disclosed that she had to drop out of university because her father insisted that she meets him in a hotel for sex before he would pay her school fees.

The aggrieved lady went on to call out her mother for not protecting her amid all the woes, and accused her of being jealous of her and her younger sibling.

Speaking further, the lady called her father a pedophile and said he deserves death penalty for all the bad things he put her through.
