A viral video has captured the moment a sex worker cautioned an evangelist trying to preach the gospel to her.

A lady standing at her prostitution point was approached by an Evangelist who claimed she was from Nassarawa but was led by the spirit to preach the gospel to the young lady.

While the minister was giving her reasons to give her life to Christ and repent, the lady could be heard arguing and saying there was time for everything, and this was clearly not the time because she was at work.

In other news, A Ugandan student, identified as Martha, has complained bitterly after termites destroyed her belongings in her room in school.

Martha, who is broken-hearted by the incident, took to Twitter to share photos of the horror sight she met when she returned to school after a three-month break.

According to her, she had been at home for three months because schools were temporarily shut down in Uganda to curb the spread of Ebola.

Unfortunately, termites infested her room and damaged most of her documents and properties, leaving a dirty pile.

Sharing the photos, the lady who disclosed that she recently had an accident, said she is tired of being strong.

Singer Blackface accuses Asake of intellectual property theft

Nigerian singer, Blackface has taken to his social media page to call out fast-rising Nigerian singer, Asake over alleged intellectual theft.

Blackface, in a series of posts on Twitter, accused the “PBUY” star of remixing “his song,” “Joha,” without his permission.

According to Blackface, Asake stole his hit song “Joha” from him without giving him credit.

This comes after ace videographer TG Omori, who directed the video of Asake’s hit song “Joha,” made the startling revelation that he charged $165,000 (over $75 million) for the music video.

Taking to his Twitter page, a disgruntled Blackface pointed out that such an amount was used to shoot the video, but no one could call the “owner of the song” to inform him before remixing the song.

“You spend $165k dollars to shoot musical video for your artist Una no fit use 100naira call the owner of the song before una remix am Una dey form say una smart I believe E better make una do the right thing because this one I no go sorry for una ! I dey come !.” He wrote in part.

Meanwhile, an old video of Asake, performing “Joha” during his university days recently surfaced online.

The 27-year-old graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, rose to prominence early in 2022 following the release of his hit track “Omo Ope,” featuring YBNL boss Olamide, and has since become a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian music industry.

The old video that’s currently making the rounds online shows Asake and his team performing “Joha” on the stage of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) years before the song became a hit.

Bobrisky to gift old house to lucky fan as he prepares to move into Lekki mansion (Video)

Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has announced plans to gift his current house to a lucky fan.

The male Barbie, in a video he shared online, said he is finally ready to move into his N400 million mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos, which he bought last year.

In the video, Bob also gave conditions to people interested in taking over his old house when he moves out.

According to him, the person must be able to manage and take care of his house before they are allowed to live there without paying rent.

A video of the mansion was also shared online to show that the controversial crossdresser is yet to furnish and move into the house despite allegedly spending millions on a lavish housewarming party.

Bobrisky reacted to the comments in a video shared on his social media page. He assured fans that he is indeed the owner of the house so he doesn’t need to rush into it.

According to him, he has contracted an interior decorator to furnish the house to his taste and was billed N80 million for the furnishing alone because they would import the furniture.

He further stated that people shouldn’t rush him to move into his own house, while adding that he plans to move in before Christmas in December.

Big Brother Naija star, Angel Smith has fired back at media personality, Nedu Wazobia, for claiming female BBNaija stars have nothing to offer except sex.

Popular Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, has confirmed that her marriage of three years has crashed.

There had been rumours that the actress and her husband, who married on May 13, 2018, and have a son together, had parted ways.

However, Wumi finally confirmed the rumour in a lengthy note on her Instagram page on Tuesday, January 24 revealing that the marriage ended over a year ago.

“Yes, it is true the marriage is over. We have gone out separate ways for over a year now. It didn’t work out, there was no need for drama hence my reason for not letting my fans know,” she wrote.

Speaking further, Wumi dismissed rumours that the marriage ended because she is violent and allegedly beat up her mother and mother-in-law.

According to her, the marriage didn’t work out, and they parted ways without any drama.

“Yesterday I saw a report where it was alleged that I was violent while the marriage lasted, and I used to beat my mother and my mother-in-law. It was reported that my ex allegedly concocted this lies. For the records, I am not a violent person. I have not had to exchange punches with anyone and I was never violent in the marriage.

The most painful part of the report is that I used to beat my mother. This is not only personal attack, it is satanic. It is against everything I stand for and believe. As a properly raised Yoruba lady, it is costly to lay your hands against your parent. As a matter of fact, my mum has been late for over 20 years. And I never raise my hands against my mother-in-law, It never happened, it will never happen.

My family members, my ex’s family members and our neighbors can testify to that. I wish those who started the rumour and those spreading well and pray that God rewards everyone of us according to the works of our hands. Music video director, TG Omori has broken the internet with a shocking revelation about the music video of singer Asake’s hit song, Joha.

The celebrated videographer, in a tweet shared via his Twitter handle, disclosed that he charged $165k for the music video.

TG Omori made this revelation while responding to a troll who tried to downplay the quality of his work, following reports that he charges his clients from $50,000 for a music video production.

His rate was brought to light after controversial singer, Portable, contacted him to shoot the vdieo of his trending song ‘Apostle’, but received a huge shock when he heard the price. Recall that Portable went online to call him out for charging him $50,000.

Reacting to this, a troll had taken to Twitter to say none of TG Omori’s work warrants that amount of money, insinuating that he is overpriced.

“TG omori doesn’t have one video that warrants his price to be $50k”, the troll tweeted.

The director didn’t take the comment lying down as he responded with the shocking amount he charged for Asake’s ‘Joha’ video.

“Joha video is about $165k. Crying?” he responded.

TG Omori had earlier in December 2022 disclosed that Joha is the most expensive video he has ever shot, and the amount in naira would break a calculator.

8 years ago Obi (then 1.5yrs) never used to see me. So when he started speaking he used to call me Mummy. If there was a point where I knew things had to change and I need to prioritise family over everything else. That was it. Never regretted it since.

Spending more time with my Mum has reinforced this massively too. Firstly at late 30s & early 40s you begin to see parents, aunties & uncles pass on. At first its a trickle. Then its every month someone you grew up with passes on🙏🏿. For your parents that is actually terrifying.

Literally someone around them of similar age is dying every month. If that doesn’t focus the mind on the fragility of life I don’t know what will. At 42 I am statistically at 50% of my life on planet earth (🇬🇧 life expectancy is 81). In 🇳🇬 that is 53 (79% there already🤯).

I now know that beyond $1m everything is vanity. Money helps but I know plenty of lonely or bored rich folks. Me? I retire at 50. So being healthy & spending time with my wife, Mum & kids x100 anything else I achieve. Seeing them grow never fails to warm my heart. 🥰😍”

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Kess Adjekpovu, has taken to social media to defend his female colleagues following OAP Nedu’s controversial claim about ladies who go on the show.

Recall that Nedu, during a recent episode of his “Honest Bunch” podcast, claimed that most women go to Big Brother Naija to get more customers to patronise their bodies.

He stated that Big Brother makes these women popular without giving them a major means to sustain and maintain their fame.

He said that these ladies then begin a serious hunt for clients who might use their services, which, according to him, is the prime motivation for their participation in the show.

“Do you know what Big Brother does for you? It takes you from here… Boom! Shoots you up. But there’s no substance to hold you onto. Na kpekus most of them get to offer. They intentionally go there just to get customers.” He said.

In an apparent reaction to Nedu’s claim, reality star Kess, via his Twitter handle, said that the trend of tagging his colleagues as “sluts” is distasteful.

He noted that the majority of them are independent and work hard to fund their lifestyles, so it’s very unfair to undermine their hard work.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor has in a new interview averred that she can never leave her matrimonial home over infidelity.

The thespian stated this while having a heart-to-heart conversation with her colleague, Mercy Johnson, on her cooking show, Mercy’s Menu.

Speaking on the advise she would give women with unfaithful husbands, Patience Ozokwor, who lost her husband in 2000, said cheating is not a deal breaker for her and she would not leave her marriage over an affair.

She however stated that if her husband continues cheating and is unwilling to change, he would be the one to leave the house.

A while back, Ka3na threatened to expose married men who are shooting their guns at her on social media.

Ultimate love star, Kachi has berated Big Brother Naija star, Beauty Tukura, for complaining about being charged ₦500,000 for a photoshoot session.

It was earlier reported that Beauty took to Twitter to lash out over the outrageous amount she was charged by a photographer in Lagos.

According to Beauty, the photography billed her 250k per look, an extra 150k because he had to leave his studio, and another 100k because it was a weekend. ICYMI

Following the outburst, Kachi knocked Beauty for bewailing the service charge when she flaunts a lavish lifestyle on the internet.

Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s first wife, May, has taken to social media to share a cryptic post.

The mother of four, who’s presumed to be at odds with her husband, Yul, since he unveiled actress Judy Austin as his second wife, recently shared a post about “going back”.

Recall that since Yul Edochie went public with his marriage to colleague Judy, May has maintained her stance that she won’t be cajoled into accepting polygamy and will not agree to be numbered as a wife.

Nollywood actress, Nazo Ekezie has advised women in abusive marriages to choose their happiness and leave before it’s too late.

She gave this advise in a video she posted on social media, while berating self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, for allegedly dating popular businessman, IVD, just two months after his wife, Bimbo’s death.

Recall that on January 1 2023, Blessing sparked relationship rumor with the Lagos businessman after she posted the photo of a man’s hand with her initials ‘BCEO’ tattooed on it, and said it’s her man’s hand.

A Caucasian lady has taken to social media to recount how her mother’s illicit affair with a Nigerian scammer destroyed their family.

In a video posted on Tiktok, the lady disclosed that her mother kept sending money to the scammer and sent $20,000 within the space of six months.

She said the affair ruined her mother’s marriage to her father and also broke their family apart.

According to her, while she’s still trying to heal from the trauma, she has also become her father’s therapist because the affair destroyed him.

A strong Gulf Stream current pulled 22-year-old Dylan Gartenmayer away from his other divers late last week as he was spearfishing in Key West.

Dylan, who claims to regularly free dive 100 feet or more, made one final dive as the water conditions deteriorated. As soon as he reached 35 feet, the current yanked him down to 150 feet and kept him there for about two minutes.

“So that’s how I ended up getting separated. They were mainly looking down, thinking I blacked out from a lack of oxygen. I had a bunch of bait floating up around me and everything. I knew that there were big fish eating those baits and there were sharks that were going to be shortly behind them. RCCG Assistant General Overseer, Folagbade Aboaba is dead

Assistant General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Prof. Folagbade Aboaba has passed on at the age of 90.

Prof. Aboaba died on Monday morning 23, January after a brief illness.

He was one of the closest allies of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

According to a statement by Prof Folarin Alonge who confirmed the news, the late scholar was one of the founding fathers of the institute and was always passionate about the growth of Agricultural Engineering and mechanisation in the country.

He wrote;

“One of our Fathers in the profession, Prof. Fola Aboaba, has gone home. He was a Professor of Professors of Professors.
Prof Folagbade Olajide Aboaba was an Emeritus Professor of Agricultural Engineering at University of Ibadan and the Pioneering Dean of the Faculty of Technology (1976-1982). I was privileged to be taught by him at both undergraduate and Masters class. He was a mentor to several people and professors.
He was the Executive Secretary of Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (1992-1998). He was the founding Pro Chancellor of Redeemers University (2005-2013). He was the Chairman of Governing Council of Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO), Lagos (1976-1979).
He died at the age of 90.
I had a chat with him on Sept 15, 2022, when we were preparing of NIAE conference in Asaba (Delta State). His response to my asking about him is ‘Thank you. Ageing slowly but fine. Glory to God. God bless you’. Baba was a lovely, cheerful and good man.
He was one of the founding members of the NIAE. He played significant role with other fathers in establishment of National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization, Ilorin. He made substantial contributions to the growth of NSAE (NIAE). His last major public lecture he delivered for NIAE was when we were invited to Presidential villa, Abuja in 2004 by the then Vice President. Late Prof John Ohu was the NIAE National Chairman then. He was always interested in hearing the progress NIAE is making.
He was a member of American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) as well as Institution of Agricultural Engineers UK.
May his soul find eternal rest in God.”
