US-based Nigerian dancer and singer, Korra Obidi, is currently in Nigeria and has been sharing moments from her vacation with her fans and followers.

The mother of two who arrived in Nigeria on Monday morning to a warm welcome from her father and sister, Nancy Umeh, at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, is already up and about in the commercial city.

Taking to her Instagram page, Korra shared a video of herself stepping out with police officers, probably for safety purposes, but this didn’t seem to sit well with a number of Nigerians online.

In the first video she shared, Korra could be seen with a policeman as she rested her hand on his shoulder and gave out mild dance moves while the officer watched.

Another clip showed Korra in her compound with a female officer, twerking up a storm for the camera while the officer watched.

The videos were met with heavy criticism from Nigerians online, who opined that Korra’s conduct with the officers was unprofessional.

Madiba, who stands at 0.7 metres (7 feet, 1 inch), took to his Twitter handle to share photos of himself with his girlfriend, Funzo Mukwevho, who is 1.5 metres (under five feet), more than two feet shorter than him.

The photos also featured the couple’s daughter together.

A 12-year-old football player from Fort Worth, Texas, Jeremiah Johnson, has gotten people debating on social media over his age due to his physique and size.

The athlete went viral on the internet after a picture of him with moustache and a tattoo surfaced online following the 2022 Youth National Championships over the weekend in Miami, where he was crowed MVP.

Johnson, whose team, Dallas Dragons Elite Academy (DEA), emerged winner of the championship game, was pictured holding the trophy that reads, “12U Division 1 Most Valuable Player.”

However, the picture has since sparked thousands of reactions from netizens who doubted his age and questioned why he was allowed to play with the Under 12 division when he clearly looks older than 12.

In a trending clip where he was asked about his age, Johnson confirmed that he is indeed 12-years-old.

Despite the confirmation, many have refused to believe that he is 12-years-old, including one NFL pro.

Popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has reacted to calls to reunite with her adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia.

A video that captures the moment a bus conductor in Lagos rejected the newly designed naira note from a female passenger has been shared online.

The lady had boarded the commercial bus to work on Thursday, December 15, and paid the conductor with the new N1,000 note but he refused to collect it.

The conductor, who was scared of being swindled, said he can’t collect the money because he is not familiar with it yet. However, the lady insisted that she didn’t have any other money on her.

The conductor, who was skeptical about the authenticity of the money, told the lady to alight from the bus and enter another bus because he doesn’t want to risk collecting the money.

Fortunately for her, other passengers pleaded on her behalf and urged the conductor to collect the money because it is already in circulation, before he eventually collected it.

Nigerian on-air personality, Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode better known as Do2dtun, has reacted to the death of American dancer, Stephen “Twitch” Boss.

Stephen, who is said to have a lively and jovial personality, committed suicide on Tuesday, December 13, and news of his death broke on the internet on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old reportedly shot himself dead in his hotel room, and his corpse was found in the bathroom by a cleaner after he missed his checkout time.

Stephen rose to popularity after he emerged as the first runner-up on “So You Think You Can Dance”, and became the official Disc Jockey of Ellen Degeneres show.

Reacting to the sad news of his death, Dotun took to his Instagram page to wonder if nobody saw signs that Stephen was battling with mental health issues because suicidal people always show signs.

He further described Stephen’s death as strange because he always looked so happy.

According to her mother, the little girl was watching a TV show that wasn’t appropriate for her age despite several warnings about it.

The mother threatened to flog her daughter for the offence, which caused the girl to cry even harder.

The young girl, terrified for her life, was seen pleading with her mother in tears not to hit her, stating that she feared that she might die as a result.

A Botswana Pastor who is legally married to two wives, Seraki Kemmonye Seraki, has complained bitterly about the struggles of having multiple wives.

Seraki, in a post shared on his Facebook page, while recounting an outing with his family, said there’s no advantage in polygamy because it’s just “chaos and drama”.

He further advised men against marrying multiple wives, and explicitly told them to stay away from polygamy otherwise they will drink their own tears.

He shared this via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, December 14 advising single people to never forget the past of any person they plan to enter into a relationship with.

According to him, there was no wisdom in ignoring a person’s past in the name of love.

A while back, Reno Omokri averred that there’s no Nigerian that needs more than N100k cash weekly.

He stated this via his Twitter handle on Thursday, December 8, while speaking in support of the newly imposed cash withdrawal limit by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Recall that CBN restricted the cash withdrawal limit over-the-counter (OTC) to a maximum of N100,000 cash per week for individuals and N500,000 cash per week for corporate bodies.

A viral video of a young man beating an elderly woman, said to be his mother, in a community in Delta State has sparked outrage.

A human rights activist, Comrade Israel Joe, who claimed to have witnessed the scene, shared the video on Facebook on Wednesday, December 14.

Joe said that when he and his colleague arrived at the scene of the incident, they made sure to deal with the young man before they left.

“Last week, I was returning from school when I came across a young man seriously beating up his very old mother who should be more than 70 years old. I parked, my car and the moment I started a video, they rushed at me saying I shouldn’t video to save the face of their community.

Some of my colleagues saw me and parked their cars as well. Omo, we constitute 4 the community dat day dem fear us. We dealt with the guy until their community executives came to take up the matter and were begging I should delete the video. A viral video has captured the embarrassing moment the president of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, peed on himself at an event.

In the trending video that has caused a massive stir online, Mayardit, 71, who has been the President of South Sudan since its independence on July 9, 2011, peed on himself during the commissioning of a new road in the country.

The president was standing with his hand on his chest, reciting the national anthem, when a wetness suddenly appeared from his crotch and spread down to the ankle of his trousers.

Unfortunately, the event was being broadcast live across the nation.

In other news, three people have been sentenced to death by hanging by a Kwara State High Court for the rape and murder of Olajide Blessing Omowumi, a 24-year-old student of the University of Ilorin.

The culprits were sentenced on Tuesday, December 13, after a one and a half year legal battle.

It would be recalled that the 300l student was found dead in her sister’s house on June 2nd, 2021, with injuries in her private part and her mouth gagged with clothes.

An autopsy conducted by a pathologist at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Dr. Kayode Adeniyi, who spoke to the court, confirmed that she was raped and strangled to death.

Eight suspects were then arrested in connection with her murder namely; Abdulazeez Ismail, Ajala Oluwatimileyin (aka Jacklord), Oyeyemi Omogbolahan, Abdulkarim Shuaib (aka Easy), Kareem Rasheed (Rashworld), Abdullateef Abdulrahman, Daud Adebayo (aka Bashman) and Akande Taiye Oladojawere.

The trial judge, Justice Ibrahim Adebayo Yusuf, who gave the judgement, sentenced the first three prime suspects to death by hanging for the offences of culpable homicide, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to murder.

The fourth and fifth suspects were each sentenced to three years in imprisonment for the offence of theft.

The court had earlier discharged and acquitted Abdullateef Abdulrahman, Daud Bashir Aderayo and Akande Taiye Oladoja, after they were found innocent of all charges levied against them.

The 165-page typewritten judgment which got almost everyone in the courtroom shedding tears while being read by Justice Yusuf, saw even the judge sobbing openly for more than two minutes as he described how the deceased was raped and ultimately killed.

The judge concluded that the group only intended to steal and rape without the intention to commit murder, but their actions resulted in homicide.

Korth, the estranged wife of popular Nigerian artiste, Sina Rambo, has opened another can of worms about her marriage to the singer.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, December 14, Korth, who got married to the singer in October 2021, accused him of trying to have sexual relations with their house help.

This comes days after Korth, who shares a child with her husband, accused him of domestic violence, among other allegations.

She claimed that Rambo, despite being from a wealthy family, is broke and doesn’t provide financially for the house.

She shared a series of screenshots showing her sending money to Rambo to back up her claim that he’s broke.

Following the drama, the mother of one has stated that she will never get back together with the singer, who is one of the son of the incumbent Governor of Osun state. She added that her family members are fully in support of her decision to end the marriage.

She further accused the singer of trying to sleep with their maid, adding that he lacks proper hygeine and she’s utterly disgusted by the thought of him.

Korth, who is of German descent, wrote,

A hilarious video of power couple, Simi and Adekunle Gold arguing about their daughter Adejare’s state of origin is making the rounds online.

In the clip, Adekunle Gold could be seen eulogising his daughter, Deja, describing her as “Omo Oba Eko,” which means “Lagos princess.”

Simi, however, immediately countered her husband, insisting that their daughter is from Ondo State.

Simi stated that she would prefer that her daughter claim Ondo rather than an overcrowded state like Lagos.

Adekunle Gold, who wasn’t giving up on the argument, further asked Simi when she last visited her village, and in response, Simi blamed him for it.

“It’s because you refused to take me there,” she said.

Sharing the video online, Simi wrote, “She’s half Lagosian and half Ondosian. Dass on period.”

Just recently, Simisola Kosoko, better known as Simi, stirred reactions after she posted a video of a game she played with her family members.

In the funny video she shared on her official TikTok page, Simi, who acted as the game master, asked her family members general knowledge questions and if they fail to answer it correctly within the specified time frame, she would throw a water balloon on them.

She asked her husband, singer Adekunle Gold, a question about Harry Porter movie, but he didn’t know the answer, prompting her to throw a water balloon on him.

The mother of one did the same for two other persons present in their home, but they both failed the questions and she poured water on them as well.

When it got to her mother’s turn, Simi asked her to name the country called the “City of Love” but her mother said Vernice, instead of Paris, forcing the singer to throw a water balloon on her face.

In an interview with Broadway TV, the actor spoke about his properties and how successful his acting and filmmaking career has been.

According to him, there is no actor bigger than him in Africa at the moment. Speaking about his properties, Zubby revealed that he owns three houses in Lagos, Anambra and Asaba, Delta state.

The 36-year-old thespian also disclosed that he recently made 120 million, but added that he doesn’t pay tithe or do all those “churchy” things, instead he gives 10% of his income to people.

Austin Faani, a Nigerian filmmaker and husband of popular actress, Chacha Eke-Faani, has shared a thought-provoking piece about relationships and marriage.

Taking to his Instagram page, Austin opined that the effect of a bitter divorce from one’s partner and staying in a toxic relationship can both kill faster than cancer.

According to him, this explains why people in such situations frown at people who are loyal to their partners and have happy relationships, because they are sad, single and lonely.

Austin wrote on Wednesday, November 14,

“The average Nigerian mentality frowns at men who are loyal to their women and also at women loyal to their men (sad), and this plague is dominant in the woman folk, especially the sad single ones, or the ones that had a bitter divorce or the now adults who were raised by sad parent/s.

People underestimate the effect of a bitter divorce from a loved one (most times you wish you stayed back and fought).

The effect of continuing to stay in a toxic relationship (You will always wish you can summon courage and get out!).

This two alone can kill faster than cancer.

Popular Nigerian singer, Iyanya has taken to Twitter to express gratitude to God for turning his career around for the better in 2022.

The “Kukure” crooner, in a series of tweets shared on Wednesday, December 14, recounted how he struggled to land shows in December 2021, and even to had to beg to perform at shows just to get visibility.

Fast forward to 2022, Iyanya said he has over 20 shows to perform at in December alone, and this is the busiest December he has had since his big break years ago.

He further appreciated God for the huge breakthrough, and some of his colleagues who played a role in his comeback.

The “Your waist” singer wrote,

“2022 December, I wake up and everyday to alerts for shows, haven’t had this kind of busy december since 2017.

20+ shows in one month.
God Thank you

And to my fans and everyone who streamed my music this year, God Bless you.

The male Barbie who made this revelation on Instagram said his grandma paid him a visit in his home, and to not confuse her with his look, he dressed as a man.
