Media personality, Moet Abebe, has taken a swipe at people who lie about their age.

In a post she shared on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, January 10, she averred that it is silly for people to lie about their age.

She asked if people who lie about their ages forget they have people who grew up with them and know them outside of social media.

“Lying about your age I feel is so silly.. Like lie about anything but not your age. Like didn’t people grow up with you? Makes 0 sense”, she wrote in part.

This comes after Big Brother Naija star, Allysyn, publicly tackled her colleague, Chichi after the latter revealed her age.

Chichi had taken to Twitter on Monday night, January 9 to announce that she would be turning 23 today, January 10.

“I was conceived out of grace!!! 23 in a few hours”, she wrote.

However, the revelation generated lots of buzz online as social media users accused her of lying about her age.

Fellow former Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Allysyn, appeared to also not believe her colleague, Chichi and took to Twitter to throw a direct shade at her.

In an apparent reaction to Chichi’s claim that she’s 23, Allysyn wrote on Twitter, “23 my ass”.

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Edochie, has replied to an Instagram follower who described her as both mother and father to her children with the actor.

The mother of four, who completely shunned her husband, Yul’s birthday a few days ago, took to her Instagram page to share beautiful photos of herself and her kids.

The photos elicited mixed reactions from her fans and followers, while some praised her for the amazing work she’s doing in raising her children, others accused her of gradually taking her husband’s place in the lives of their children.

In light of this, an Instagram user, @dr-nkechinyere_olaedo, via her comments, described May as her children’s mother and father.

Popular relationship coach, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has averred that there is nothing wrong with married couples having sex while fasting.

In a video shared on social media, the clergyman, who spoke about some wrong mindsets Christians have about sex, dismissed claims that married couples should not copulate while fasting because it’s “unholy”.

According to him, married couples can have sexual intercourse during the spiritual exercise, except they both decide to abstain from sex.

He also opined that abstaining from sex for too long might expose a couple to sexual temptation, so they shouldn’t withhold sex from eachother for too long.

Pastor Kingsley further explained that having sex during a fast will not make God angry because fasting is for one’s good and not to please God.

A while back, Kingsley Okonkwo sparked a discourse online after he said women were not created to take care of themselves.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, November 24, the relationship and marriage expert explained at each stage of life, women should be taken care of because they cater for everyone else.

According to him, as daughters, their fathers should take care of them; as wives, their husbands should take care of them; and as older women, their children should taken care of.

Reality TV star cum Disc Jockey, Tolani Shobajo, better known as Tolanibaj, has seemingly made a case for men who cheat on their partners.

Taking to her Twitter page, the former Big Brother Naija housemate asserted that there are many beautiful women in the world, and fewer men to match them.

She then asked if it’s not understandable for a man to make himself available to other women apart from his wife.

She however sounded a note of warning to any man she ends up with, stating that she would cheat back if he ever cheats on her.

Nigerian Actor, Yul Edochie has countered Nigerian skit maker and actor, Debo Adedayo better known as Mr. Macaroni’s assertion that politicians offer money to voters to manipulate their votes.

In a tweet he posted earlier today, Mr. Macaroni cautioned Nigerians against collecting money from politicians. He claimed that those elected officials who gave bribes never carried out their duties when they get to the office.

In his words;

“Any Politician offering you money in exchange for your vote is not going to serve you. They are only investing. If they get into office, they will loot the Nation’s treasury which rightfully belongs to the people.
Do not vote in thieves and looters!
They are destroyers.”

Reacting to his tweet, Yul said he has run for office in the past, and from his experience, citizens usually demanded money from politicians, and they had to hand it over to the electorates.

A Nigerian man identified as Mc Dee has given gratitude to God as he shared how he was miraculously cured of lung cancer.

Taking to his TikTok page, he shared a video of himself going through various tests and screenings and narrated his journey to survival.

According to him, he was not diagnosed immediately and had to repeatedly go through tests while rapidly losing weight.

The doctors eventually informed him his airway was being blocked by a tumor on his lung and insisted on removing his lungs revealing the procedure would cost around 3.7 million.

Fortunately and surprisingly, he apparently began coughing and coughed out the tumor before the procedure could be performed.

He wrote;
“God healed me from lung cancer. I coughed out the tumor miraculously. My left lung that was destroyed came back to life.

“The tumor was totally removed without surgery instead of surgery that will cost 3.7m I only got cough syrup. What God cannot do does not exist.”

Susan got legally hitched to her Dutch husband, Koen Croon, at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry, Lagos, in 2015, but news of their divorce hit the internet in 2022, though there were speculations that their marriage ended long before then.

The estranged couple’s marriage was reportedly turbulent from the start because they were living miles apart. While the actress was focused on her acting career in Nigeria, her husband was overseas.

A Nigerian man, Julius Chinagorom Chukwu, has revealed that he’s still a virgin and is not ashamed of it.

Julius, who made this disclosure in a Christian group on Facebook on Tuesday, January 10, said he resolved to abstain from premarital sex as far back as when he was in secondary school.

He said it has not been a smooth sailing ride because he sometimes has prolonged erection in the mornings and have to take a cold shower or listen to gospel songs to quench the urge.

According to Julius, some ladies don’t believe men can be virgins and think they are impotent or have erectile dysfunction. He further disclosed that his previous relationship ended because he and his ex-girlfriend didn’t share the same values regarding sex.

Big Brother Naija star, Maria Chike, has tendered a public apology to revered clergyman, Apostle Joshua Selman, after she mistook him for the “apostle” she was accused of having an affair with.

A Kenyan lady received a heartbreaking response after she publicly professed love for a random man she spotted on a power bike.

A video that captures the moment a woman created a big scene in the reception hall of a Nigerian bank has been shared online.

The woman reportedly stormed the bank to demand for a refund after N600,000 was debited from her account without a plausible explanation.

In the viral clip, the woman said she had been saving her money at home and robbers never stole from her, but when she decided to deposit the money in the bank presumed to be safest place to save money, she has lost all her life savings.

The aggrieved woman, who was prancing barefoot in the banking hall, is seen crying and demanding for her money. However, none of the bank staff attempted to console or attend to her.

John Okafor revealed that it had been a boy from his family who had poisoned him and his brother because he wasn’t happy with his prosperity.

He said:
“The same boy poisoned my elder brother. We are the same family but since God started helping me, I started buying things, buy motors, dashing people, build house, he wasn’t happy. He was really looking for means to eliminate me but God said no.”

Big Brother Naija star, Allysyn, has publicly tackled her colleague, Chichi after the latter revealed her age.

Chichi had taken to Twitter on Monday night, January 9 to announce that she would be turning 23 today, January 10.

“I was conceived out of grace!!! 23 in a few hours”, she wrote.

However, the revelation generated lots of buzz online as social media users accused her of lying about her age.

Fellow former Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Allysyn, appeared to also not believe her colleague, Chichi and took to Twitter to throw a direct shade at her.

In an apparent reaction to Chichi’s claim that she’s 23, Allysyn wrote on Twitter, “23 my ass”.

A while ago, Chichi opened up to fellow housemate, Deji, about her traumatic childhood experience.

The former exotic dancer, in a chat with Deji, disclosed that her father was poisoned to death and her mother abandoned her as a child.

According to Chichi, she never experienced motherly love as she was abandoned by her mother as a baby and was raised by her father until his untimely death.

Narrating the event to Deji, Chichi said she doesn’t like to talk about that part of her life as it makes her quite emotional.

The young man holding his daughter in his arms intermittently pushed the lit joint into her mouth after grabbing a puff.

The man continued smoking while a female chuckle could be heard in the background urging him on.

A lady identified as Velo has shared how she traced and recovered her stolen vehicle by herself after police told me it will take them 48 hours to do it.

Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, Velo gave details of how she bravely went to the location alone and picked up her car.

According to Velo, she woke up, discovered her car missing, and saw CCTV footage of thieves making away with the vehicle. She shared the location of the car with the police and they told her it would take 48 hours to send an official to try and retrieve it from its current location.

“Woke up this morning to go about my merry way only to find that my beautiful car, my baby, was no longer on my driveway. My car had been stolen overnight. On this 8th day of a new year o. My first reaction was na wa o, they didn’t even let me finish new year waka. I nearly laughed out loud because this year was already showing itself and I was like on top of everything? Anyway, I rang the police and reported the theft. I brought up CCTV footage and was watching these merry fellows make away with my car. And then I remembered that my app has my car last trip location.

So I looked it up and gave the police and they said someone will go within 48 hours. 48 whole hours! As in 48 x 60 minutes. Long story short I went to the location myself. I didn’t know what to expect and I can’t even lie I was scared af. When I got there, there was someone standing watch over the car and smoking, so I called the police again. Luckily I had my keys, and when I tried the car unlocked. The man was watching me and I was watching him but the police were on the phone so I had small courage.

I unlocked the car and got in. They had broken the steering wheel to get the wheel lock off and ransacked the car but when I tried it started. Brethren, I carried my car o. I got in and drove to my house. I was my own police, my own recovery person. In fact Benoit Blanc no do pass me.
Met police have marked it as a solved case but they had better put my name down as the “solver”.

They’ve been talking about forensic evidence etc but I know it’s not going anywhere. I’m actually sooooo thankful because honestly I’ve not been in the best mental space and dealing with losing my car would have been the worst. Anyway I’ve decided that my year has just started and I’m reclaiming this year same way I reclaimed my car, so happy new year to you all!”

Former presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri has urged men to create joint accounts with their spouses.

This advice came after a follower queried if it was wise to open a joint account with his wife knowing all the evil women were rumored to perpetuate.

Reno referred to men who hid money from their wives as foolish because when they died the money would be forfeited to the state and their family would lose everything.

He wrote;

Nollywood actress, Luchy Donalds, has taken to social media to call out her friend who collected money from her under false pretenses and used it for cosmetic surgery instead.

The thespian shared lengthy details on her Instagram page of how her unnamed friend came to solicit funds claiming that her mother needed a kidney transplant and she was pushed to help her despite not having a lot.

Luchy also shared an audio recording of the friend begging and swearing on her mother’s life for the loan.

She revealed the friend had also stayed in her house and stolen $2,000 from her and she forgave her because they were ‘friends’.

She wrote;

“People are very very very wicked, this particular one really hurt me. My friend since year 1 in the university called me crying that her mother has kidney problems and needs a transplant, weeping that her mother does not even recognize her again because of how bad her condition has become, I asked this girl how much did they hospital ask for the transplant, she said 7.5million naira but she has raised 6million remaining 1.5million so I told her she will hear from me, not upto 30minutes I got off the phone with her, I sent her the complete 1.5million naira to save her mothers life.

Now here’s the painful thing
1 just found out that this girl used my money to go and do body surgery for her ass and arms, I don’t have too much money but the little I have I came through for a friend to save her supposed mothers life only to realize she played me, she used my as her local client because this is jobing that she jobed me, now here’s another painful part again.

This girl in question while she was living in my house 4 or 5 years ago stole $2,000 (two thousand dollars) from me, she went to my handbag and stole it but yet after a while I forgave her, 3 years ago she started one business and I still patronized her and even advertised it on my page for her for free, this same girl once in a while I dash her some money, each time I traveled out I buy her something
