Popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus recently exchanged words with trolls who shared their unreserved opinion about her new photos.

The screen diva, who recently underwent a massive weight loss transformation, had taken to her Instagram page to share stunning new photos of herself on Monday, December 5, with a motivational caption.

“This is your Monday morning reminder that you can handle whatever this week throws at you,” she wrote.

Her followers were, however, more concerned about her appearance in the photos and didn’t waste time to call her out for overediting her pictures.

They trooped to the comment section of the post to condemn the filtered photos.

An IG user @symply_moo wrote, “This editing is not editing o, aunty mi”, while another troll commented, “@symply_moo I thought I was the only one that saw that too Caro white editing”.

Interestingly, Eniola Badmus didn’t take the comments lightly as she fired back at some of the trolls.

Massive congratulations are in order for former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Jumoke Zainab Adedoyin, better known as JMK, as she gets called to the Nigerian bar.

The reality TV star and chef, who graduated from Afe Babalola University, took to her social media page to excitedly announce the good news to her fans and followers.

She shared lovely photos of herself in a black robe and wig, and officially declared herself a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She also posted a photo with her proud parents.

The 24-year-old wrote,

A young Nigerian lady has been thrown into mourning following the death of her husband one year after their marriage.

The young lady, identified as @irenechinecherem on TikTok, revealed she got married at age 20, and tragically, she’s now a widow at age 21 after losing her husband to the cold hands of death.

The bereaved wife shared a touching video of her hair being shaved off by a group of elderly women, in accordance with their custom.

In a tear-jerking write-up, the lady paid tribute to her late husband.

“Married at the age of 20 gave birth at the age of 21 and becomes widow at the age of 21. Babe I don’t know what to say but i believe that God knows the best when I close my eyes the thought of how we started is the only thing and I recall but who am I to question God you will always remain in my heart Rest in peace love.” She wrote.

Tinubu, who was at Chatham House in the United Kingdom on Monday, December 5, where he spoke on “Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: Security and Economic Development and its Foreign Policy Imperatives,” is seen in the viral video bonding with his team after the media session.

The agile 70-year-old is seen doing the signature Buga dance, going low, rising back up, and then lifting his shoulder in sync with the music.

A while back, the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) listed five conditions that Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, must fulfil before he can debate with a representative of their candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that Tinubu was noticeably absent at the presidential town hall meeting organized by Arise TV on November 6. The likes of Peter Obi, Kwankwaso were present while PDP’s Atiku Abubakar was represented by his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa.

In a new development, APC has on Tuesday, November 29, stated that Obi cannot debate with Tinubu and they would rather send one of Tinubu’s media aides to debate with him.

Popular Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson, has publicly apologized to his wife, Seyi Edun, for a video of himself with a lady that sparked rumors of an affair.

A selfie video of the married actor and a lady in a car recently found its way to the internet and caused a stir, as many concluded that he (Adeniyi) is in an amorous relationship with the lady.

It was gathered that the lady had shared the video online, gushing over him and calling him endearing names.

Amid the controversy, Adeniyi clarified in a lengthy post on his Instagram page that the lady in the video is an overzealous fan.

According to him, she approached him for a photo while he was driving out, and he couldn’t get down from his car because he was rushing to another set.

He apologized to his wife, Seyi, and promised to get to the root of the matter.

He also urged the lady to speak up and clear the misconception.

“I will not pretend like nothing happened today, and this is not to debunk anything as no one debunks what never happened or what you didn’t do!!! “Stop demoniz!ng CS” – Doctor advises as woman loses her womb and baby after refusing to undergo CS due to religious beliefs

A doctor has advised Nigerians and religious leaders to stop demonizing Caesarean Section (CS) because there’s nothing wrong with it.

@drpenking gave this admonition on Twitter, while recounting the sad story of how a woman in labour lost her baby and womb because she refused to undergo CS.

He said the woman had an obstructed labour and was advised to do CS to save her life and that of the baby but she refused because her pastor told her she will ‘deliver like the Hebrew women’.

Sadly, she developed more complications in the process, the baby died in her uterus and her womb had to be evacuated.

Reacting, Dr Penking urged Nigerians to stop criticizing CS because it’s a life-saving procedure and doesn’t make a woman less of a woman.

He tweeted,

“She had an obstructed labour. The Doctor on call decided on CS. She said that her pastor told her that she’ll deliver “like the Hebrew women” and besides they don’t use to do CS in her family. She asked to be taken to church. She was later rushed back to the hospital

She had had uterine rupture with total myometrial and serosal disruption. Baby was floating in the peritoneum, dead. Uterus was bleeding like an ocean and could not be repaired . It was removed . The child was her first child. She lost her first child and lost her womb for life.

Stop demonizing CS. It is a life-saving procedure and nothing is wrong with it. For all pastors who keep making women lose their children by telling them lies, God will ask you on your dying bed.

A video that captures the lovely moment popular dancehall singer, Patoranking, surprised his female colleague, Tiwa Savage, when she was performing at a recent show in Lagos has been shared online.

The interesting incident unfolded at the 20th anniversary of Rory Thunder in Lekki, Lagos, over the weekend, sparking sweet reactions from fans.

The ‘Somebody’s son singer was one of the guest artistes at the event without knowing Patoranking was also in the building.

When she was performing one of her songs, the DJ switched to a Patoranking’s song she featured in titled ‘Girlie O’, and the singer sneaked up onstage and started rocking her behind.

At first, Tiwa Savage didn’t recognize Patoranking because he disguised in a rastafarian’s outfit with dreads, but she continued dancing with him, and even twerked up a storm on him.

The ‘Abule’ cronner was then handed a microphone so he could join her in performing. It was at that point Tiwa Savage realized that it was Patoranking she was dancing with all along. Her face lit up instantly and she proceeded to hug him.

The UK-based actor shared his experiences with the hooker in a post shared via his Instastory on Tuesday, December 6.

Chinenye Eucharia, the young girl adopted by popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has finally spoken up following rumours that she and the actress are at loggerheads.

For weeks now, Destiny and Chinenye have not been seen together, neither have they posted pictures together on their respective social media pages.

This raised several speculations online about the reason behind their alleged clash as netizens wonder why Chinenye, a budding actress being groomed by Destiny Etiko, stopped acting in the actress’ production.

A ‘Christian Tiktoker’ has caused a buzz online after she claimed that masturbation is a form of witchcraft that creates generational curses.

In the trending clip which has amassed over 600k views on TikTok so far, the woman spoke passionately about the ‘dangers’ of masturbation and said it will put a curse on one’s family.

In the 46-seconds video, the woman, speaking against masturbation, said,

“Masturbation is a form of witchcraft.

Not anyone is realizing that this is a demonic attack its a form of witchcraft. Masturbation is a form of control.

“You understand you are literally controlling an orgasm, you’re controlling your own pleasure, that is witchcraft.

“That is a curse that you begin to place over your own life that will then literally bleed into your future children’s life.

“This means that this will become a generational curse that you started or that your parents started that will now go to the next generation, it is witchcraft.”

After citing her points, she began to denounce masturbation and sexual immorality “in the name of Jesus’.

Presidential candidate of the ruling party – All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has explained why he has been snubbing live interviews and debates.

Tinubu, who snubbed another Presidential Town Hall meeting organized by Arise News which had three other leading candidates in attendance on Sunday, December 4, gave his reason during an interview in Chatham House in London on Monday.

According to him, those inviting him for debates and live interviews are only trying to use him to make money because he’s a marketable candidate.

“I see myself as a marketable individual. You want to use me to make money and I’m saying no,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tinubu’s campaign team have released a statement defending his absence in the presidential debate. They cited bias and partisanship on the part of the television station’s anchors.

A Nigerian lawyer, identified as Ebikebuna Augustine Aluzu, has revealed that he’s good to his wife because she’s completely submissive to him and reveres him.

Aluzu, who’s popular for his quite controversial advice to his male Facebook followers, made this statement in response to a lady who noted that he has a different personality in reality than what he portrays on social media.

According to the lady, contrary to what one might deduce from his social media posts, Aluzu is a kind man who’s good to his wife and takes extreme care of her.

“This man is a kind, loving, generous and caring man to his beautiful wife. Sometimes I pity young guys following his “Dear kings” series because he is living happily at home.” The lady wrote.

Famous rapper, Oladips has apologized to Afrobeat singer, Wizkid and his fans for the diss track he dropped.

The rapper had shared a rap song to shade Wizkid for his opinion on the rap industry and decided to apologize after the backlash he received from fans.

Popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, has shared his opinion on the conversation of mothers taking money from their children without paying it back.

A Twitter user identified as Dekunle revealed that his mum took money from him but refused to pay it back because she carried him for 9 months.

He wrote;

“I borrowed someone € 350 to buy bag, e reach time to collect am back, she’s telling me she carried me for nine months.”

The actor took to his Instagram story to share reasons why people should value their parents.

According to him, many parents are not where they are meant to be because they sacrificed their personal growth for their children’s growth.

Popular Nigerian singer, Emeka Akumefule, better known as Blaqbonez, has expressed disappointment in the actions of Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid.

This comes after Wizkid stated that rap music was dead and went ahead to call the Nigerian rappers that took offense to his statement broke and dumb.

Blaqbonez said that while being a huge admirer of the widely acclaimed musician, he was saddened by the insults.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has tackled billionaire business mogul and politician, Ned Nwoko, over his recent comment on polygamy.

Ned Nwoko had in an interview with The Guardian, said he and the Ooni of Ife, who married multiple wives in quick succession, are serving Nigeria by taking many wives.

According to Ned who took popular actress, Regina Daniels, as his 5th wife in 2018, more Southern men should embrace polygamy like their Northern counterparts to curb the rate of prostitution among thier women.

“What some of our girls do to make ends meet is regrettable and if our men emulate their northern counterparts by having more than one wife, that could probably change the situation,” he said in part.

Reacting to Ned’s statement, Uche Maguawu, in a post shared via his Instagram page, lampooned him for pressuring Southern men to marry multiple wives.

He also asked Ned why he only takes Regina Daniels to political functions and campaigns instead of all his wives since he’s so proud of his polygamous family.

Controversial Anambra-based clergyman, Prophet Odumeje, is currently trending on social media after a video of his members spraying wads of cash on him on the altar went viral.

The clergyman recently turned 40, and his church members held a lavish celebration for him on Sunday, December 4.

Videos from the celebration that made their way online showed the moment the members stormed the pulpit with bundles of cash and started making money rain on the prophet.

Money is spotted all over the pulpit while the celebrant, who is obviously having a good time, entertained the congregation with his dance moves.

This didn’t go down well with many Nigerians on social media, who trooped to Odumeje’s comment section to chide him and tag the show as ungodly.

Former Brazilian footballer, Adriano has reportedly separated from his wife, Micaela Mesquita, after only 24 days of marriage.

The couple, who got married last month and shared photos of them signing the wedding papers on Instagram, allegedly parted ways because the Brazil star disappeared for two days to watch the World Cup.

The 40-year-old was said to have travelled to Vila Cruzeiro, a district of Rio de Janeiro, to hang out with his friends and also watch the football match between Brazil and Switzerland on Monday, November 28.

He spent two days in Vila Cruzeiro where he grew up before returning home to his wife.

However, his long absence didn’t go down well with his wife who questioned his whereabouts during that period. The conversation escalated into an argument and they broke up as a result of the altercation.

Mesquita has now deleted all her pictures with Adriano from her Instagram page barely a month after their wedding.

They also cancelled a pre-planned celebration with their family and friends over the weekend due to their shocking split.

Reports have it that the couple have a long history of breaking up and getting back together, and have split up and reconciled five times before.

A mother has elicited a flurry of reactions on Twitter after she revealed she bought her son dresses after he demanded for them.

According to her, her son had been requesting female clothes, so she finally decided to grant his wish and bought him dresses and allowed him to rock them.

She said when another kid next door saw her son in a dress, he was curious and asked her why she dressed her boy in female clothing, and she simply responded that it was his wish.

“My son has been asking for a dress. I finally decided to just get him dresses despite being afraid he’d get teased by other kids. Today, the boy next door asked why he was wearing a dress, I said “he wanted one” and he said “okay” then they continued to play. The kids are alright”, she wrote on Twitter.

However, the revelation sparked a range of responses. While some Twitter users praised her parenting style, others thought it was weak of her to let him wear something that was “unfit” for his gender.

A Nigerian pastor based in Abuja, Aminu Adebola Oluwaseun, has issued a public threat to a man who allegedly absconded with his car.

Taking to his Facebook page on Monday, December 5, 2022, the clergyman said he trusted the suspect, one Ajayi Taiye, with his car about a year ago and till date, he’s yet to return it.

He further warned that God is giving him a chance to return the car because it’s impeding his movement.
