Actor Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy, has triggered reactions following her comment on an Instagram post about her husband’s outing with his mother.

Over the weekend, Yul, his mother, and other members of the family accompanied the family’s first son, Leo Edochie, to Port Hacourt for the final burial of his mother-in-law.

Taking to his Instagram page on Sunday, Yul shared a photo of himself and his mother that was taken on the outing and captioned it, “Happy Sunday to you all From me and the most beautiful woman in the world, my mum. Somewhere in Port Harcourt.”

The actor’s second wife, Judy, then took to the comment section to affirm her love and admiration for her husband and mother-in-law with love emojis.

The comment, however, sparked reactions from social media followers who pointed out that Judy is always absent from Yul’s family gatherings.

Former beauty queen, Sandra Okagbue has taken to social media to celebrate her partner, singer Flavour, and their daughter, Kaima, on their birthday.

The popular indigenous singer, who shares the same birthday with his daughter, turns 39 today, November 23.

Sandra, who is the mother of two of Flavour’s children, shared a beautiful picture of herself and the singer rocking matching outfits on her Instastory and wrote, “Happy Birthday Papa”.

In a similar manner, she shared beautiful princess-themed photos of their daughter, Kaima, and penned a lovely message to celebrate her.

“Happy birthday to my Jewel of inestimable value.

Former beauty queen, Precious Chikwendu has slammed Justin Dean for calling out his ex-wife, Korra Obidi, because she celebrated their divorce online.

Recall that Korra recently took to Facebook to celebrate after emerging victorious in her divorce battle with Justin and gained custody of their children.

However, Justin who was the one who initiated their divorce proceedings in March, slammed her for celebrating getting a divorce, stating that divorce is a “failure” and not something to celebrate.

He also insinuated that Korra lacked the skills to keep a marriage together and promised to raise his girls differently.

His words,

“I will raise my daughters in such a way that they have the skills necessary to maintain a marriage… Because marriage is work. It’s not something that you go in thinking, ‘Oh, if it doesn’t work out, I’ll just get divorced. I’ll just move on to the next thing in life’. If you have that kind of mentality it’s almost more like a transaction. Reacting to the video, Nollywood actress, Njemanze Dorothy called Justin a narcissist who wanted to see Korra bitter and sad but is now angry because she’s happy with her life.

Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, responding to Dorothy, said she intentionally refused to comment on Justin and Korra’s divorce saga because their situation is similar to hers.

She wrote: “Thank you! It takes two for marriage to work. He gave up working it out, ran down all that could have been a ladder to crawl back, made all processes pain. Now he is here to rant holy. I avoided saying pim because this situation is so similar but mehn! This rant is annoying.”

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, November 23 unveiled the redesigned Naira Notes.

The president unveiled the new N200, N500, and N1,000 denominations as proposed by the CBN before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House, Abuja, this morning.

Photos of the redesigned notes that have circulated online show that the denominations have a similar appearance to the previous look, but with a slight color difference.

Nigerians have now taken to social media to share their opinions on photos of the Naira notes currently making the rounds, with the majority expressing disappointment in the new design.

Reacting, a Twitter user @Adewale Adetona wrote, “They just added Snapchat filter to the existing Naira notes to make the new ones.”

Comedian, Basket Mouth wrote, “They clearly used a Snapchat filter for this.”

Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani wrote, “If it’s Naira colour,the CBN should have just engage Snapchat”.

@EssienTruth, “What’s this? Is this the redesign? Making it look blurry and archaic? Ofcourse, it’s suicidal to expect anything good or exceptional about this government.”

Ossai Success Ovie, a special assistant to the Governor of Delta State, has recounted how his brother ended his relationship with his ex-girlfriend because of her sense of entitlement.

Taking to Facebook, Ossai said the young lady dated an internet fraudster before dating his brother and was accustomed to expensive gifts and lavish spending sprees.

He said the lady’s iPhone 12 Pro Max got stolen recently and his brother bought a TECNO phone worth 55k for her to replace the stolen phone.

However, the lady rejected the phone and said it’s belittling for her to use a TECNO device after using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. Displeased by her response, his brother repossessed the phone and called off the relationship.

According to Ossai, his brother actually bought an iPhone 13 pro max for her and wanted to test her with the TECNO phone.

Ossai wrote;

“A young girl in warri once dated a yahoo yahoo guy and after the breakup , she met my brother .

They started dating but unfortunately for her , my brother though has money, is not that generous like that yahoo yahoo guy.

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has shed more light on her visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye’s palace, amid the controversy that the visit stirred online.

A Nigerian gospel singer, Mark Saladin has been thrown into mourning after losing his fiancée, Deborah, in a fatal car crash eleven days to their wedding.

It was gathered that the couple were both involved in the car accident which occurred along Gashua damaturualo, Yobe State, on Saturday November 19, but sadly Deborah died from the injuries she sustained on Sunday.

A friend of the couple, Evangelist Isaac Iko-Ojo, who took to Facebook to confirm the tragic news, disclosed that they were set to wed on December 3, 2022.

He wrote,

“Shalom! It is with deep pain in my heart, I inform you that min mark saladin a.k.a yaron zaki whose wedding is 3rd Dec, lost his fiance (Deborah) They were involved in a car accident along Gashua damaturu late hours of Saturday evening. It deemed the Lord to call her home early hours of yesterday (5:36am) May her soul rest with the Lord and may the Lord comfort the entire family of the late in Jesus mighty name Amen”

In other news, two female police officers, identified as PC Godiya and PC Kubra, have died in a fatal car accident while travelling to Akwa Ibom state.
The deceased officers, who were serving with the Borno State Police Command, were travelling to Akwa Ibom for the 13th Biennial Police Games Uyo 2022 when they were involved in a car crash along Jos axis, claiming their lives.

The mother of two beautiful girls, who recently released a new song, seemingly shared the scantily clad photo to garner people’s attention and it worked.

Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai has said there’s something wrong with a man who does not have a house of his own before settling down.

The thespian who stated this in a chat with media personality, Toke Makinwa noted that if she, as a young girl, can afford to own basic things like a house and a car, then a man thinking of getting married is expected to have these things.

Speaking on her preference in men, Lilian said she’s not rich but she is comfortable, and she wants a man who is comfortable enough and has the basics, like a house and a car.

When Toke asked if the house must be his own or a rented apartment, Lilian responded that the house should be in his name.

Toke then pointed out to her that not many young men have their own house, and Lilian replied,

“Then something is wrong. Because even me as a young girl, I don dey… That means you don’t even have… you don’t have a fu… you’re not helping… you can’t be with me.”

“Because, me I’m a young girl, I’m already paying small small. Every month I go squeeze money, pay. Before you know now I don pay finish. So you cannot come and tell me. No be say I even get pass anybody. You cannot come and tell me that you really need to have so much money to buy a house in Lagos. That’s a lie. That means you don’t even understand real estate. That means you cannot even be with me. We are not even mentally inclined, do you get? So, God has chased you for me.” She added.

Dancer, Korra Obidi’s ex-husband, Justin Dean, has seemingly thrown a jab at her after she took to social media to celebrate their divorce.

Recall that Korra took to Facebook to rejoice after emerging victorious in her divorce battle with Dean and gained custody of their children.

Korra made a video after returning home from court to update her fans on Friday, November 18, 2022. Although she stated that she couldn’t share anything about the case because most of it is classified, she acknowledged that she had won. Read here.

In an apparent reaction, Korra’s ex-husband, Dean, who had announced he was getting a divorce from her a few days after the birth of their second child, Athena, in March, has now gone online to state that divorce is a “failure” and not something to celebrate.

He also insinuated that Korra lacked the skills to keep a marriage together and promised to raise his girls differently.

“I will raise my daughters in such a way that they have the skills necessary to maintain a marriage… Because marriage is work. It’s not something that you go in thinking, ‘Oh, if it doesn’t work out, I’ll just get divorced. I’ll just move on to the next thing in life’. If you have that kind of mentality it’s almost more like a transaction. It’s like this person is going to elevate me in one way in life and when it no longer works I’ll just divorce them and do it again.” He said.

Popular Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic and her husband, Daily Times publisher, Fidelis Anosike, are having their white wedding this weekend in Yorkshire, England.

The couple, who had their traditional wedding in April this year, will be joined by friends and family as they exchange vows in a 900-year-old abbey in England this Saturday.

Actresses Michelle Dede and Kate Henshaw are on Rita’s bridal train.

In an Instagram post, the 47-year-old, who recently tied the knot with the publisher of DailyTimes newspapers, Fidelis Anosike, hinted that she prefers to keep her relationship private but not hidden.

According to her, her idea of the ideal relationship is one in which others know about the relationship but are oblivious of their private life.

A Nigerian woman, Rita Emuh Onyekachukwu, and her husband have finally welcomed twins after 13 years of waiting.

The proud mother took to her social media page to share the good news and appreciated God for answering her prayers.

Sharing the photos, she wrote ;

A woman identified as Princess Helen Abang has been remanded in Suleja Custodial Center for falsifying ownership of a two-story structure with six units of three-bedroom apartments by Hon. Justice K.N. Ogbonnaya of a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Zuba.

The woman who claimed to be the owner of the building in the Federal Capital Territory’s Wuse Zone 6 at Plot 70, Yaounde Street, also rented it out without the owner’s permission.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ego Olejeme, the 80-year-old owner of the home, apparently learned of the trespass in 2006 and had been trying in vain to reclaim the assets until the trespasser was apprehended on November 7, 2022.

Abang missed two court dates, and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest.

According to the prosecuting lawyer, Abdulrasheed Sidi;

“The accused rented other 5 flats of the 3-bedroom and used the proceeds to fight the widow from recovering the houses since 2006.
She illegally trespassed on the property and has remained there till she was arrested on 7th November, 2022 and charged to Court.
On 7th November when the case came up for hearing, she refused to show up , but was moving from office to office in order to frustrate the case.”

Abang, who was detained by the police after being arrested on November 7 and brought before a judge on November 22, 2022, pled not guilty to the seven counts that were read out by Hon. Justice Ogbonnaya.

The judge postponed the hearing on her bail application until November 25. The dates for the substantial suit hearing have been set for December 13–15, 2022.

Nollywood actress and producer, Mary Remmy Njoku has taken to her Instagram page to share a food for thought for women looking to date men who are getting set to return home from the abroad during the holidays.

Portuguese football star, Cristiano Ronaldo has officially ended his playing with English football giants, Manchester United.

This comes after a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan dominated news headlines in the weeks leading up to the World-Cup

The 37-year-old who is unarguably one of the greatest footballer ever saw his relationship with the board at Manchester United turn sour after he seemingly called out the poor way the club was being managed.

Ronaldo was also consistently agitated that his role had been reduced to the bench and he took it out on manager Erik Ten Hag whom he felt disrespected him by leaving him on the bench.

According to the club statement, the five-time Ballon D’or winner will leave the club by mutual agreement.

The statement reads in parts :
