Popular Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy, has splurged millions of naira on three luxury cars for himself ahead of the yuletide season.

The Grammy award winner took to his Instagram page on Friday, November 11, to show off his latest acquisitions, which included a Lamborghini, a Maybach Benz, and a Bugatti.

He shared photos and a video of the Lamborghini Aventador SJV in purple, along with a video of the Maybach Benz in black.

Burna Boy, who revealed he got the luxury rides in preparation for “Onwa Decemba”, also shared a post of him asking his dealer when his custom Bugatti will be ready.

A Twitter user, who bumped into them at the airport, took to the microblogging platform to share a picture with the BBNaija lovebirds and disclosed that they looked adorable together.

He also credited their reuinion to their fans, popularly known as ‘Shella shippers’, who kept rooting for them to keep their love alive after the reality show ended.

Recall that Bella and Sheggz had a complicated love affair in the BBNaija house and netizens opined that their relationship won’t survive after the show.

Delivering on the promises made to Corps members (intending volunteers) at the launch of its community development service initiative known as Hypo Toilet Rescue Volunteer program during the 3weeks NYSC orientation camp in March 2022, Hypo Toilet cleaner has invited all the 11 volunteers whose nominated projects have been commissioned to their office for recognition and cash reward.

So far, 68 toilet units have been rescued and commissioned in Lagos in partnership with National Youth Corps Service providing resources of Corps members who gladly volunteered to take on the active part on the mission towards promoting hygienic toilet environment in Nigerian public schools and most importantly to strategically move Nigeria down the rank of being the highest open defecator in the world.

The major highlight of the exercise shortly before the cash presentation was when the brand took the audience through a multimedia presentation of the dilapidated state of a few of the commissioned facilities, showing “the before meets after refurbishment”, which certainly demonstrated how deeply impactful the project has touched lives.

After the cash reward exercise, the 11 Corps member volunteers got the opportunity to meet with the Group Chief Executive Officer, Tolaram Group -Mr. Deepak Singhal, who commended them for their efforts and for choosing to make themselves useful towards achieving as greater Nigeria.

According to Mr. Akinseloyin Akintayo, Brand Manager, Hypo Bleach “these young people are dynamic, and they have demonstrated how deeply they care about giving back to the community where they are serving and beyond the cash rewards, they will be taken through an interview session after which the lucky ones will get a full-time employment with the organization”.

Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule popularly known as Blaqbonez, has revealed that he stopped watching people’s Instagram and Snapchat stories four years ago.

Taking to his Twitter page on Friday, November 11, the 26-year-old rapper explained that he stopped watching people’s stories because they always made him feel less of himself.

According to the ‘Back to uni’ crooner, everyone seemed to have a perfect life on social media and it made him feel inferior. In order to curb those feelings, he stopped viewing people’s IG and Snapchat stories completely.

He tweeted:

Skit maker, Ashmusy, has finally admitted that her initial claim of spending N2 million daily was exaggerated, as she laments how many people have approached her for financial assistance since her post went viral.

The internet personality made the news on Thursday after she claimed in a social media post that she spends at least N2 million a day solving her life problems.

Her claim generated massive reactions from social media users, the majority of whom accused her of living a fake life.

She later provided a breakdown of her daily expenditures, which eventually add up to that massive sum, and stated that low-income people cannot relate to her lifestyle.

However, in an updated post moments ago, as Nigerians continued to drag her across various social media platforms, Ashmusy stated that her initial claim of spending N2 million per day was simply a hyperbole, but Nigerians didn’t get the joke.

She said since she made the claim, she has received tons of messages from people begging her for financial assistance, blocking important business messages.

The last tweet of Mary Fulu, a 24-year-old lady who committed suicide after her boyfriend ended their relationship in Lilongwe, Malawi, has surfaced.

Mary, a student and entrepreneur, ended it all on November 2, 2022, after her lover reportedly dumped her for another woman.

Sources close to her family said her boyfriend, simply identified as Neil, broke up with her after he impregnated another woman.

Spokesman of Kanengo Police Station, Gresham Ngwira, who confirmed the sad news, said Mary fell into depression after the devastating heartbreak and was undergoing therapy before she committed the act.

“The woman had been going to Bwaila Hospital for treatment and counselling. However, this morning she died by suicide. She silently went into the boys quarter and hanged herself,” reads part of the police report.

The report adds that a post-mortem examination was conducted on her corpse and it revealed that the cause of her death was strangulation.

A tweet she shared on the day she committed suicide has resurfaced and in it, she wrote, “We were good for each other”.

Enugu police arrests 18-year-old girl for killing her new born baby following the advice from her 60-year-old mum

Men of the Enugu state police command have arrested an 18-year-old new mum, Ada Joy Okonkwo, and her 60-year-old mother for allegedly stabbing her new-born baby to death.

It was gathered that Ada used a kitchen knife to stab the child to death, following the counseling of her mother, moments after she delivered the baby at home.

The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, November 7, at Olocha-Adogba in the Awgu community of Awgu L.G.A. of Enugu state.

The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State has now ordered the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID) in Enugu to thoroughly investigate the case of an alleged conspiracy and murder of the newborn male child (infanticide) by the mother of the child, Ada Joy, and her mother, Christina Okonkwo.

The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said the child was taken to the hospital and confirmed dead by the doctors on duty.

He added that the corpse was deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

The police PRO mentioned that the state commissioner of police has called on citizens of the community, particularly the women who carried out a peaceful demonstration, to express their disgust over the act, maintain peace, and avoid acts that could lead to the breakdown of law and order in the community.

Nigerian music icon, Wizkid gave quite an interesting response during a recent interview when he was asked to pick his favorite artist between Burna Boy and Tems.

The superstar singer was recently a guest on “This or That” on BBC Radio 1Extra, when the host asked him to choose his favorite between Tems and Burna Boy.

Responding, the singer first expressed shock at the question before noting that picking between the two is a difficult choice to make.

A Nigerian couple’s marriage has reportedly hit the rocks after the wife caught her husband flirting with another woman.

It was learned that the man, who was a regular customer at a pharmacy near their home, had a habit of flirting with one of the attendants whenever he went there to buy something.

In his usual flirtatious habit, he was holding hands with the female attendant recently when his wife walked into the pharmacy and caught him in the act.

She angrily stormed out of the pharmacy, and on getting home, she called it quits with her husband.

Lady jumps into Lagos lagoon following heated argument with fiancé few weeks after proposal (video)

A beautiful Nigerian lady, identified as Adetutu Adedokun, jumped off Third Mainland Bridge into the lagoon in Lagos on Thursday, November 10.

Adetutu, an operative of the Department of State Services (DSS), who was in her thirties, was said to have alighted from a cab, walked to the railing of the bridge and plunged into the water.

The cab driver claimed the lady was having a heated argument with her fiancée before disembarking from his vehicle and jumped into the lagoon.

The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, said a search and rescue team has been mobilized to search for the woman.

“Upon arrival of the LRT at the incident scene, investigation revealed that a lady in her late thirties (30s) plunged into the Lagos lagoon,” he said.

“Further investigation revealed that the lady alighted from a cab on the bridge and plunged into the lagoon,”

“The LRT men of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, LASWA and officials of the Department of State Service (DSS) are currently on the ground working better together to search for the victim,” he added.

However, the rescue team didn’t find her body on Thursday and will resume the rescue operation today, November 11.

The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, said;

“The rescue teams called off their search by 7pm because it was already dark. They will continue the search tomorrow (Friday); you know it is water, the wave would have taken the body somewhere else. But we will search everywhere.”

Popular skit maker, Ashmusy, has reacted after she came under fire for claiming she spends at least N2 million a day solving her life problems.

The internet personality had taken to social media to complain bitterly about the high cost of living. According to her, she’s faced with huge expenses on a daily basis, and they always amount to more than N2 million.

Her claim generated massive reactions from social media users, the majority of whom accused her of living a fake life.

Reality TV star, TBoss also threw a jab at her, as she criticized the “fake lifestyle” culture prominent among celebrities and how they lie to impress their fans. Read here.

In response to the backlash, Ashmusy provided a breakdown of her daily expenditures that eventually add up to that massive sum.

She further explained how she has many people who depend on her for their school fees, feeding, and even house rent, and stated that low-income people cannot relate to her lifestyle.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred reactions online after he shared a video of his house, which he named “Zazu villa.”

The Zazu Zeh star, who acquired a new house a few months ago, took to his Instagram page on Thursday night, November 10, to show off the interior of the house.

In the video he shared, showing off the villa, the sitting room was exquisitely furnished, with rows of picture frames lining the wall.

However, the clip elicited reactions from a barrage of social media users, who implored the singer to hire an interior decorator and pointed out that the arrangement is tacky.

Reacting, an Instagram user @Clintont45 wrote, “See your ducking house 🏠 🏠 you go dey talk say you get money🤑 see house you mate dey buy na village man.”

Another Instagram user wrote, “My husband reduce this frame small now lae Shay photo studio😩😩😩.”

According to her, such vendors should stop that ‘nonsense’ immediately and instead, get someone to model their replica items rather than misleading their customers.

She wrote,

Man uses faeces from his family members to smear his uncle’s house as punishment for being unkind to him after losing his job

A middle-aged man, Nobert Musyoki has pleaded guilty to charges of smearing human faeces on his uncle’s house, as he appeared before Mombasa Senior Principal Magistrate, Vincent Adet.

Musyoki entered guilty plea and further informed the court that he smeared his uncle’s house to punish him for “being a bully and for also being unkind” to him after he lost his job.

The suspect who lives in his uncle’s house, told the court that prior to the day he carried out the act, he forced his family to use buckets for excretion in a bid to get enough poop that could smear the house’s corridor, bathroom and toilet.

He said;

“I only did it to punish him because I am hurt by his actions. He is a hater. He has made my life hard since I lost my job and now that I cannot give him handouts he wants me out of the house.

“l forced my wife and children to use the buckets for long calls before l began using it to smear the house.”

The magistrate then handed him a 3-month suspended sentence and issued him a stern warning.

Adet said,

“I will convict you on your own admission to three months suspended sentence. During that period, ensure you have not committed any other crime. I further warn you to stop dealing with faeces as a way of punishing others.”

The Senegalese secretary general of FIFA, Fatma Samoura has stated that Senegal will turn to witch doctors in an effort to get Sadio Mane to the World Cup in Qatar as quickly as possible.

Despite sustaining a leg injury this week, Mane is now expected to be included in Senegal’s World Cup team, a source within the national football federation told AFP on Thursday. Mane was initially predicted to miss the tournament.

6-year-old girl dies in Abuja school allegedly due to swimming instructor’s negligence

A Nigerian man identified as David has taken to Twitter to call out a school in Abuja for causing the death of his cousin.

According to the relative, 6-year-old Modadeoluwa was receiving swimming lessons at Start-Rite School in Abuja on Nov. 2 when she died.

He claimed that the school attempted to alter the incident’s CCTV footage, but they were able to obtain proof.

The swimming instructor allegedly repeatedly threw the deceased into the shallow end of the pool, causing her to hit her head and suffer internal bleeding, according to the details shared by the family members who called out the school on the micro blogging platform.

Nigerian man calls out a hospital for causing the death of his wife and the child in her womb.

A Nigerian man identified as Johnny has called out a hospital in Portharcourt for negligence resulting in the death of his pregnant wife.

According to him, his wife walked into the hospital healthy to deliver her baby but was left unattended by the doctors who were supposed to operate on her.

“My wife was pregnant,
Her due date was 29th October. She has passed her EDD as she was 40 weeks plus 3 days due.
She went for her routine check up and did scan last week Tuesday, 1st November 2022. The scan results confirmed that baby mother and child were all in perfect condition.
The doctor told her if she does not go into natural labour between that Tuesday till the end of the week, she should come with her bags the following week so as to be manually induced into labour.
So on Sunday night 6th November 2022 at about past 11pm she started having stomach pains.
Then we proceeded to the hospital.
We got to the hospital by 12 midnight and the doctor available told her she was 5 cm dilated and was already in labour.
They said she would need to get to 10cm dilated before she will be taking to delivery room.
By 2am, the doctor came to observe her and burst her water bag.
At about 5 am the doctor told me that the baby was in distress and deficated in my wife’s womb and said that if the baby stays any longer in the womb it will poss some future health threat to the child when delivered or the child might likely die in the womb. And recommended her for operation. I and my wife gave our consent immediately.
The doctor kept on delaying in commencing with the operation without any viable reason except that the gynaecologist and the team of doctors that would perform the operation need to arrive the theater.
By past 6 am I went again to meet the doctor to know why they are yet to commence the operation, I met him handing over to another consultant, asked him if he was leaving and he said he was done for the day. I asked him about the operation that he suggested, and he said it will soon commence and also told me that they may likely also reconsider her delivering normally without being operated.
I asked further if there was no cause for alarm considering the previous report he gave, and he said there was nothing to worry about.
8.15 am my wife, walked into the theater for the operation.
By past 11 am they came to tell me that they gave her drugs to prepare her for the operation and after some minutes, her heart stopped beating, her pulse stopped responding.
How can a woman that came into the hospital full of health and physically strong automatically stop beating immediately she was administered drugs on????
The doctors failed to bring out the baby from her womb even after when they confirmed to me that baby was still alive in the womb
The operation was not done, my wife gone, baby gone.
They abandoned me, my wife’s lifeless body, our innocent unborn baby in the theater without anybody coming to give even a word of sympathy let alone explain to me what happened till this moment I write to the whole world.
Human lives means nothing Nigerian Hospitals and there incompetent Doctors.
value for Humans lives are like mere laboratory tools to them.

Popular life coach, Solomon Buchi has criticized the controversial crossdresser Bobrisky for claiming to be a woman.

The crossdresser complained on his page that only in Nigeria would people continue to question someone else’s gender even after they had identified it for themselves.
