Popular actress, Zainab Balogun, has gone online to share a powerful testimony of how an ovarian cyst in her body miraculously disappeared two days before she was scheduled for surgery.
The media personality, in a video shared on her Instagram page, said she two ovarian cyst were discovered in her body in 2020 and she underwent surgery to take them out.
She said in 2022, the cyst came back and this time, it was ‘stronger’ than before and she was advised to undergo another surgery to remove her left ovary and the cyst in order to protect her right ovary so they could harvest and freeze her eggs.
Zainab, who got married to her husband, Ditto Nwachukwu, in 2018, said she started trusting God for healing and told him she wanted to be completely healed in April.
She said in April, the cyst had reduced in size and she was thankful, but she told God that her healing was not yet complete.
Two days before her surgery, she went to the hospital for a pre-surgery scan and the doctors couldn’t find any cyst in her body anymore.
The actress, who described herself as a woman whom God has shown mercy, concluded by saying ‘what God cannot do does not exist’.
A Nigerian lady, Olaitan Adonis, has committed suicide after her boyfriend, identified as Ola Saheed, reportedly used her funds to marry another woman.
Olaitan, who had a seven-year-old son, was in a serious relationship with the young man and was saving money in his bank account. He however used the money to marry someone else over the weekend.
Upon receiving the news, Olaitan, who was devastated by her lover’s betrayer, was said to have consumed a poisonous substance to end it all.
A source who spoke anonymously said,
“I heard they were together last Thursday, September 8, they even spent the night together, but on Friday, a friend of hers told her the guy is getting married on Sunday, September 11. She was said to have consumed a poisonous substance and died the following day, Saturday, September 10.”
The employer of the deceased who also spoke on the tragic incident, said,
“My salesgirl has been giving him money from my shop for upkeep, but he squandered the whole money. She even sent him N10k on Friday. After she ended it all, we called him and he said it’s none of his business.”
Meanwhile, friends and colleagues of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn her sad demise.
A man, identified as Mukaila Ismail Gado, has been arrested for disposing refuse into a gutter in Lagos State.
The middle aged man residing in the Alausa, Ikeja area of Lagos state, was nabbed after he was caught on camera emptying a sack filled with waste into a gutter while rain was falling.
The said video was shared on Twitter by @LagosWaste, who disclosed that the man was captured by the monitoring enforcement team division of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA).
They stated that the man will be arraigned before a court and risks being sentenced to jail for his crime. “Caught in the act by @Lawma_gov monitoring enforcement team dumping refuse into the drainage during rainfall. He has been arrested for further investigation. This one will definitely go to jail”

Nigerian Professor, Uju Anya, has taken to Twitter to appreciate Nigerians for pitching their tent behind her after her tweet about the Queen of England went viral.

American rapper, Rakim Hasheem Allen, popularly known as PnB Rock, has been shot and killed in Los Angeles.
The rapper, who was just 30, was shot dead at a restaurant in South Los Angeles during a robbery attempt on him on Monday afternoon, September 12.
According to The Times, the shooting occurred around 1pm at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ’N Waffles as the rapper was “being robbed of his jewelry.”
A graphic video circulating on social media shows the rapper fighting for his life on the floor of the restaurant. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at a hospital at exactly 1:59 pm.
Giving an account of the incident, the Los Angeles Police Capt. Kelly Muniz,
“The victim was sitting at a table eating with a female witness when he was approached by the suspect.
“The suspect then brandished a firearm and demanded his property The suspect then fired multiple rounds and then appears to remove some property, to what extent we don’t know at this time.”
Muniz further disclosed that the suspect “shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot.”
A source who spoke to TMZ said the rapper may have been targeted by the shooter because no one else was assaulted or shot in the restaurant.

This comes after Ekweremadu’s daughter, Sonia, appealed to members of the public to donate a kidney to save her life.
According to Sonia, her family has battled to save her life, and this led to her parents facing charges directly connected to her illness.

A Canada-based Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share her interesting experience in a church in Toronto.
In a video she posted online, the young lady said she decided to attend the church because she is not a pagan who would stay home on a Sunday.

Sonia Chinonso Ekweremadu, one of the daughters of Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has taken to social media to publicly beg for a kidney donor.
The 25-year-old explained that she had to drop out of her postgraduate studies in 2019 because she was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease known as FSGS Nephrotic Syndrome.

Roy disclosed that he forgot his iPhone on a car at the parking lot of popular club, Quilox, last Friday and the said lady, who donned a brown outfit, picked it and walked away.
He shared a CCTV footage which captured the moment the young lady stole his phone, and asked anyone with useful information about her identity to contact him or the management of the club.
He also offered to reward anyone who helps him find his phone and promised not to reveal the lady’s identity.

The father of one, who gave this advice in a post shared via his Instagram page, said it’s high time parents stopped shying away from conversations about sex with their kids and taught their children about sex.
According to him, everything in Nigeria today is centered around sex, from images to songs that these children are exposed to.
He went on to say that 14-year-olds had sex in his generation, so it’s no surprise that the age for youngsters in this generation has plummeted.
“Everything in Nigeria is centered around sex. Children are faced daily in fact inundated with sexual images. All the songs the media feeds them, everything is hyper sexualized. Sex tapes of their media created role models everywhere coupled with the internet, just start sex education early instead of forming saint, In my generation most 14 year olds were already doing it or planning to do it, I am nit surprised the age dropped.” He wrote.
