A Nigerian lady has tied the knot with a military officer, years after she causally spoke it into existence on Twitter.
The bride, identified as @onimi3e on Twitter, had in a post on her page on December 8, 2017, shared her desire to marry someone in the military.
“I want to marry a soldier or navy man,” her tweet read.
In an updated post on her Twitter page, she revealed her prophecy came to pass as she got married to a military officer in 2021.
She shared adorable photos from her wedding showing her in a white wedding dress and her husband in his military ceremonial uniform and captioned them, “2021: I married a military officer.”

Big Brother Naija season 7 finalist, Chichi has opened up on the heartbreaking experience she had during the grand finale of the reality TV show.
The exotic dancer, in a recent interview with media personality, Hero Daniels, shared this while explaining why she couldn’t respond to a question posed to her by the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Ebuka had asked Chichi who she was excited to see at the finale because family and friends of the finalists were expected to show up to support their own. Chichi however didn’t respond to the question and skipped to the next one.
Recounting the heart-rending incident, the 22-year-old reality star, who is an orphan, said she didn’t respond because nobody showed up for her.

A lady has taken to Twitter to narrate how a heavily pregnant woman battling with ulcer was hospitalized after embarking on 90-days fasting and prayer because her pastor said the child will bring blessings to her family.
According to @nkay_yo on Twitter, the woman, who is pregnant with her fourth child, was told by her pastor that the child will change the fortune of her family, and instructed her to fast for 90 days to bring the word of prophecy to pass.
@nkay_yo said she met the pregnant woman at the hospital, and her husband was complaining bitterly over his wife’s condition, and because no one from the church showed up to stay with her whereas if someone was ill in the church, his wife would abandon everything she is doing to take care of them.

Big Brother Naija star, Rico Swavey, is currently battling for his life following a ghastly car accident.
Fellow reality TV star, Alex Unusual, who shared the sad news on her Twitter page on Tuesday morning, October 11, said the accident occurred “hours ago”.
According to her, as at the time she left the hospital, Swavey was in an unconscious state and doctors were still trying to resuscitate him.

Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, known professionally as Harrysong, has been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command over his ongoing case with music executive, Soso Soberekon.
Recall that the celebrities has been at loggerheads since Harrysong in a recent interview alleged that Soso is not his friend as many believe as he sent people to kill him in Port Harcourt.
Though he didn’t mention a specific last name, many assumed that he was referring to music executive and talent manager, Soso Soberoken.
Soso did not take the claim lightly and slammed Harrysong with a suit demanding he retracts the statement and pay N500M as compensation. He also warned that if Harrysong fails to do so within seven days, he will be sued to court.
He then petitioned the Inspector General of Police accusing Harrysong of defamation and threat to life. Harrysong however called his bluff and made light of his threat to sue.
Well, it was gathered that Harrysong was picked up by police operatives at the Lagos airport after he arrived Nigeria on Tuesday morning, October 11.
He will be interrogated over the matter and might be released or detained depending on the result of police investigation.

Nigerian singer cum pastor, Okose Emmanuel, formerly known as Soul E, has told single ladies that their destined husband might be a married man.

One of the passengers who was abducted from Kaduna-bound train, Azurfa Lois John has narrated her 191 days ordeal in the camp of her abductors.
Lois, who is 21-year-old Kaduna State University student was among the remaining 23 passengers who were freed last week.
One of the top commanders of the terrorists was said to be in love with Lois and wanted to marry her. Sharing her ordeal with journalists from her hospital bed in Kaduna, Lois revealed she has forgiven the terrorists.
She stated that the terrorists stormed the train in a commando-like-style, shooting indiscriminately, ordering everyone to go out.
According to her, they walked a distance that night before motorcycles came, took them away and they journeyed for four days before arriving at the main camp that became their abode for six months.
“From the scene of the attack, I saw that the train just derailed, the terrorists entered the train, they started shooting sporadically and they asked us to go out. Then, the men were tied up, they collected our phones,” she narrated.
“We walked a distance that night before bikes came. Then, they took us to where we spent that night. We journeyed for four days before we got to where they dropped us, that is their main camp. We were there doing nothing, everyday was just like repetition of the previous day.”
When she was asked how they were fed and treated by their captors, Lois said, “We cook in the morning and in the evening, so we eat twice a day.”
She also confirmed that the terrorists actually bring in medical doctors into the camp to treat sick abductees.
“Anytime we are sick, they bring drugs. The terrorists have medical doctors who come around to give medical care,” she said.
When asked about the plan to marry her off as disclosed by the negotiator, Lois said the terrorists’ commander picked her and proposed to marry her but she rejected the offer.
“Yes, it is true that one of the terrorists commanders picked and proposed to marry me but it just an offer and I rejected it. Once you reject them, they don’t force people. I was not the only one the terrorists offered to marry. They would just ask you, ‘I want to marry you, I want to keep you and I want you to change your religion and convert to my religion.’ So, it is left for you to either agree or reject.”
Lois said that from day one of her captivity, she never knew that one day she would be free again.
“I was just praying waiting for the day I will leave the camp.” she said, adding that news of leaving the terrorists’ camp came unexpected.
“The terrorists just came and asked us to start packing our things. I never knew I was going to come out. Even if I was going to come out, I knew it was going to take a while. So, I was just there praying to God, waiting for the day I would leave the camp.
“The news of our leaving the camp just came unexpectedly. The terrorists just came and asked us to start packing our things. The preparation took a week until the final day when they now asked us to move and they handed us over to the Presidential Committee.
“Now that I am out, I have forgiven my abductors, as much as God forgives our sins too. All what happened are in my past now, the terrorists are in my past too, it is over now, I don’t have anything against them.”
President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU, Emmanuel Osodeke, has said the union is optimistic about calling off its lingering strike, adding that there is now “light at the end of the tunnel“.
Osodeke stated this at a meeting with the leadership of the House of Representatives led by the House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Monday October 10.
He said,
“Please, let all of us work together to put a beautiful end to this end to this thing we have started so that every Nigerian will be proud that we have universities we can be proud of.
Once again, I want to thank you. I also extend our appreciation to the president for intervening, I want to appeal that in the future, we should not allow strikes to linger. The strike should not go beyond two days.
For the first time, we have seen light at the end of the tunnel.
If the way the national assembly has intervened if we had done that long ago, or those in charge of labour and education had done exactly this, we would not be where we are today.
We would not have stayed more than two or three weeks on this strike. There is strike all over the world — UK, US, all over — but they don’t allow it to last.
So, once again, thank you very much and we hope that working together, in the next few days, we can put an end to this particular imbroglio in the Nigerian educational system.”he added

A couple of days back, Dammy Krane accused Davido of allegedly sending boys to beat him up, days after calling him out on a debt he refused to pay.
Dammy Krane has been claiming that his industry colleague, Davido owes him money from a joint production and has demanded payment from Davido but has gotten no response from him.

Operatives of SWAT Bayelsa State Police Command have arrested one Joseph Godfrey, 50, for allegedly luring unsuspecting female job-seekers to hotels and sexually assaulting them.
According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Asinim Butswat, the suspect usually disguise himself as a staff of Government House, Yenagoa and lured his victims with the promise of job opportunities and employment.
Butswat stated that the suspect ran out of luck on 10th October 2022 at about 1300 hours, when one of the girls raised alarm and he was arrested at Opolo, Yenagoa.
He said the suspect is being interrogated by Police operatives while investigation is ongoing.

An infamous burglary suspect who was arrested in Nasarawa State has been identified as 36-year-old Godwin Moses, known well as Yellow.
It was earlier reported that the suspect was arrested for burglary and theft at Lowcost Housing Estate in Akwanga, Akwanga Local Government Area of the state on Friday morning, October 7, 2022.
The suspect who has now been identified on Facebook with the username, ‘GM Gold’ is alleged to be responsible for recent cases of theft and burglary in the area.
Godwin Moses is reported to be a staff of the Information Unit of Akwanga-West Development Area.
In a Facebook post shared on September 22, 2022, the suspect shared a photo of himself eating plantain and egg sauce and wrote as caption,
“They de insult us say we no get money but na we dey live healthier life pass. Note: rich man no de gossip ooo, na only poor man wey no get anything de do gossip,” he wrote.
In another post of his dated July 27, 2021, he lauded a woman over “security of lives and properties” in Akwanga LGA.

A little while back, Makinwa averred that every Nigerian deserve a place in heaven because they have suffered enough in the country.
The 37-year-old lifestyle vlogger made this assertion in a post shared on her Twitter page on Monday, September 12.
According to her, every Nigerian citizen should enter the gate of heaven without any hassle because they have gone through hell in this nation.

Big Brother Naija season 6 star, Tega Dominic, has said that most of her detractors on social media can’t face her in real life.
The single mother once stated this in the recent episode of her talk show, “The Pandora Show,” where she revealed how she deals with trolls.
Tega Dominic recounted how she and her son came under constant attack on social media and the time that her manager tweeted that she was battling with mental health issues.
She said that tweet was false, but her management thought it was the best at the time because of the attacks on her social media.
She reiterated that she’s better than the majority of those hiding behind keypads to troll her.
“There was a time my management made a tweet about my mental health being affected. When I read that tweet, I said to myself, ‘Me, mental health? Where is my mental health going? How did it happen?’ I told them (management) that they didn’t show me before tweeting. They said it was because they knew I would not allow them to put out the tweet. They said at that time it was the best idea to go through.
“Sometimes, I don’t forgive myself; I feel like fighting myself for that single tweet. I cannot be saying something that is not real. Anything I tweet is how I feel at that moment. I don’t think I can say I am emotional when I am not. It’s not possible.
There was this time someone bullied me and my son. I went to the person’s page and realised that the person recently opened the account. In my mind I was like, ‘This person cannot even face me with his real account and speak to me directly’. That means I am way above the person. You will never see someone who has a blue tick on Instagram bullying another person. I just gave myself courage and said, ‘This cannot be it’.
“I may be getting trolled and my assistant or sister will come to my room and see me laughing. I have fine legs and I may look at the troll’s legs and say to myself, ‘My legs are even finer and this one is talking’. There is always something to massage my ego. I have never seen trolling and bullying in my life like the past one year. The people that have been there before me, I wonder what they have been facing.” She said.
A man has claimed that he is the father of Chioma Success, the little girl who went viral after she joined Peter Obi’s rally and declared that he wants to reunite with her and her mother.
Recall that after little Chioma became an internet sensation following her participation at the campaign rally for Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Asaba, Delta State, a video of her mother stating that she’s a single mother and doesn’t know the whereabouts of her father was shared online.
However, the alleged father has now emerged and revealed his intention to reunite with his daughter, despite trying to have her aborted in the past.
In a viral video, the man who claims to be Chioma’s father said he had insisted that Chioma’s mother abort her pregnancy, and when she declined, he chased her out in 2020.
However, following their new-found fame, he stated that he’s now a changed man and wants his daughter and her mother back.
