Woman accuses her husband of threatening to kill her after several years of abuse to the extent she lost a 8-month-old pregnancy
A Nigerian lady has accused her husband of threatening to kill her following years of abuse and she released proof to back her claims.
The mother of three on her Facebook page, shared a screenshot of the message she claims was sent to her by her estranged husband, one Mr Tony Oluwatoyin Mike Uche.
In the message, Tony allegedly told her that the next time he sees her, they will see who will die first. He also told her that the battle line has been drawn and asked her to prepare both physically and spiritually.
The lady, who is a chef, explained that the recent threat came following years of abuse. According to her, all through the seven years they were married, he abused her a lot of times and she had to “flee” to her parents’ house often to recover from the injuries she sustained.
On one such violent episode, she lost a pregnancy of 8 months. She revealed that the police station has several records of him signing undertakings not to harm her again.
She also added that he also destroyed her business equipment during their marriage. According to her, she is now estranged from him and has instructed her lawyer to begin a divorce process but he recently accosted her when she was returning home and attacked her before pulling out a knife.
She explained that it took a security guard to pull him from her otherwise she fears what the outcome would have been.

He posted pictures with Banky W and his friend, Captain Tunji Dumeren, and told Nigerians to brace themselves for the wave of good music he would release from henceforth.

A video making the rounds online shows the moment a Nigerian pastor flared up and ordered for the Disc Jockey (DJ) to be replaced for playing secular music at his wedding.
In the trending clip, the groom, whose name was given as Pastor Edu Udechukwu, was about to dance with his wife during their wedding reception when the DJ started playing a song about love.
Edu was displeased by the DJ’s choice of music and immediately instructed ‘Dennis’, presumed to be his best man, to replace him with someone else immediately.
“That’s not my song. Somebody should change that guy”, he said into the microphone. Then he shouted, “remove him from there.”
Eventually, a lady instructed the DJ not repeat what he did again.

A Nigerian lady on TikTok has taken to the video-sharing platform to share the story of how she ended up marrying the fiancé of her sister who is based abroad.
According to the lady, about two years ago, her sister asked her to stand in as a bride for her during the introduction and wedding ceremony.

A young man left bystanders jaw dropped after he escaped while being transported in a police van.
In a video shared online, the young man is seen in a police van alongside other people who had been supposedly apprehended by the police, but as they were driving off, he jumped down from the police van and dashed into thin air in a flash.
The young guy jumped from the van and bolted so quickly that the camera was only able to catch a glimpse of him in motion.

In other news, Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have busted a major warehouse in the Ikorodu area of Lagos where 1.8 tons (1,855 kilograms) of cocaine were stored.
The cocaine seized from the warehouse located in a secluded estate in Ikorodu, is worth more than Two Hundred and Seventy-Eight Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($278, 250,000), equivalent to about One Hundred and Ninety-Five Billion, Seven Hundred and Seventy-Five Million (N194, 775,000,000) Naira in street value, according to NDLEA’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi.
Speaking to newsmen, Babafemi described the development as one of the biggest cocaine seizures in Nigeria’s history.
“At least, four drug barons including a Jamaican and the warehouse manager have been arrested in the well coordinated and intelligence-led operation that lasted two days across different locations in Lagos State.
The warehouse, located at NO. 6 Olukuola Crescent, Solebo Estate, Ikorodu, was raided on Sunday and the barons were arrested in their hideouts in different parts of Lagos.
“Kingpins of the cocaine cartel in custody include Messrs Soji Jibril, 69, an indigene of Ibadan, Oyo State; Emmanuel Chukwu, 65, who hails from Ekwulobia, Anambra State; Wasiu Akinade, 53, from Ibadan, Oyo State; Sunday Oguntelure, 53, from Okitipupa, Ondo State, and Kelvin Smith, 42, a native of Kingston, Jamaica. They are all members of an international drug syndicate that the Agency has been trailing since 2018.” Babefemi said in a statement.

A South African woman, identified as Paballo Maseko, has opened up about having an affair with her stepdad to deliberately hurt her mum.
Maseko, who admitted to having a sexual relationship with her mother’s husband, who’s also her pastor, said her mother sent her packing after she learnt of the affair.
She made this revelation on Twitter while sharing why she stopped going to church.
Maseko claimed that, unlike her sibling, she never received the same level of attention or love from her mother.
According to her, because of her mother’s neglect, she was forced to have an intimate relationship with her stepfather.
She claimed that her mother got to know about the affair after her siblings found out and exposed her in church.
She says she’s now a stay-at-home girlfriend because she can’t get a decent job due to her inadequate educational qualifications.

A popular Nigerian Twitter Influencer, Ruth recently took a swipe at comedian cum singer, Carter Efe following the messy clash he had with singer, Berri Tiga.
Carter has been on the news for days now over the drama involving him and Berri Tiga over ownership of their featured single, “Machala” which was removed from streaming platforms over unsolvable copyright issues.
The drama started when singer, Berri Tiga revealed that he wrote and sang Machala from start to finish but still, the skit maker claimed full ownership of the song and offered him unsuitable returns as royalties.
The drama between the duo seem to be never ending as they’ve countered each other about who is right and this has caused a buzz on social media, with netizens having varying opinions on the issue.

There was mild drama between a female pastor and her church’s choir mistress during a singing worship session in one of their services.
The worship session began when the choir mistress started singing a hymn which interrupted the Clergywoman who at the same time was going to sing the same hymn.
Noticing that there was a clash, the female pastor asked her choir mistress to pause so that she can continue singing. The choir mistress stopped for a little moment before joining in as the minister began singing.
In a now viral video making the rounds online, the duo are seen having a back and forth on the alter over who seems to sing the hymn better.
The clash left members of the church surprised as some could be seen laughing when the pastor increased the volume of her voice to drown that of the choir leader.
They however sang the hymn alongside the Choir mistress and female pastor.

The skit maker shared the good news with her teeming fans and followers in an Instagram post on Tuesday, September 20, while flaunting her baby bump.
Kiekie shared an adorable video which showed her bulging tummy with a song, “L’oruko Jesu,” dedicated to her unborn child and full of praise and prayers for the child.
Kiekie also revealed her baby’s name as Oluwashonaolami.
Sharing the news, she wrote, “Look who’s going to be a mummy. Me wey never fall dann inside rain before! One small drizzle bayi! I fell pregnant Danu Danu!”

The distraught woman is seen in the viral video fiercely tossing her husband’s luggage out of the house while telling onlookers that she is the one who pays the rent.
“This house when I dey pay house rent naim you come dey do nonsense?, she’s heard saying.
The man then protested that she cannot throw him out as he is the man of the house.
“I am the man of this house. You nor go fit drive me”, he said as he charged towards her.
The man went on to lament about how the woman deprives him of many things in the house.
Toward the end of the video, some neighbors came around to plead with the woman who threw her man’s belongings out as well as destroyed the TV he brought to the house.

Nigerian man narrates how he married his wife after church found out she was pregnant with their second child one week to his wedding with another woman
A Nigerian man, Akume Raphael, has narrated how he ended up marrying his wife, Memnen, after church cancelled his wedding with another woman when they found out she already had a child for him and was pregnant with the second one.
The Benue-based journalist made this revelation in a Facebook post on Monday, September 19, while celebrating with his wife on her birthday.
According to him, his wife, Memnen, had their first child while he was in a serious relationship with another woman.
He claimed that as he was preparing to marry his then-fiancee, Memnen, paid him a visit, they had intercourse, and she became pregnant again.
He revealed that a week before his wedding, the church council found out about Memnen when she showed up with their son and baby bump, which made them cancel the marriage and he was made to marry Memnen, who already had a child for him and was pregnant with the second one.
Akume and Memnen have been married for 10 years now, and their union has been blessed with four children.
In the lengthy Facebook post, Akume showered his wife with encomium, describing her as a supportive wife who allows him to be himself.

The church refused to wed me the next Saturday and my wife that I paid bride prize left me too. Today we have four children three boys and a girl, the same girl that stopped my marriage hmmmmm. She has been a very supportive woman through tick and tin, she has been there for me and my children.
I am not were I should be but I am not were I should have been looking back if I hadn’t married her. She allows me to be me, she support my dreams. She trust my decisions and God helping me I have not brought her shame or the children.

I can go on and on telling the world so many unique things about my wife. She is hard working, she can Cook and Knows how to look for money. On this day I feel terrible that I am not celebrating her in a way I thought I will but wish to celebrate her by telling This testimonies about her maybe, just maybe it will inspire someone out there. She is the only woman that will not show me love openly yet does not play with anything that has to do with me. I Know the friends I have here will celebrate her as usual.
Nigerian man in shock seeing two ‘blind men’ operating their phones after he gave them money (Video)
A Nigerian man was left in shock after he spotted two visually impaired men who were begging for alms operating their phones after he gave them money.
The man had minutes before handed the men money after he saw them at the spot where they sat begging for alms.
However, shortly after he left them, he saw them operating their phones.
He filmed the men in the act and shared the video on social media.
In response to the video, some social media users concluded that the men were pretending to be blind to garner sympathy, while others averred that the men could have trained themselves such that they could operate their phones even without their sight.

In other news, a young widow has taken to TikTok to share her agonizing experience with her late husband’s family after his sudden death.
The mother of two, identified as @kleivmaris.1, shared a video showing herself, her late husband and their two children and narrated what she went through in the hands of her in-laws.
She said she was accused of killing her husband barely a day after his death, and was called a ‘thief’ because she said her husband is not as rich as they thought.
She said a month after his passing, she was chased out of their matrimonial home with her kids for refusing to engage in a ‘diabolic plan’.
Speaking further, the grieving widow said they seized her husband’s properties and claimed he was indebted to his siblings so they will hold on to his properties till her children are old enough to come for them.
To make things worse, she said she and her children were not allowed to visit his grave because her in-laws claimed they are “disturbing her late husband’s spirit”.
Following the dehumanizing treatment, she said she wanted to return her bride price but her father-in-law told her to give the money to her late husband’s spirit.
She said she then decided to relocate with her two children to have a fresh start, and now they are thriving and doing fine.
