Big Brother Naija star, Pere Egbi, has reacted to the brawl between level-up housemates, Phyna and Bella, yesterday.
Recall that Phyna, the current Head of House, and Bella got into a heated argument on Tuesday afternoon when the former asked the latter to suspend her discussion with Chomzy during a wager task meeting.
This triggered Bella, who immediately responded to Phyna that she had no right, even as the Head of House, to dictate to her.
“You have no right to say that. Control what I say ? Are you the owner of the house?” Bella responded.
The argument resulted in a war of words between the ladies as they called each other unprintable names.
Sharing his opinion on the brawl, Pere, who was known for his stern rule during his time serving as the Head of House in the Shine Ya Eye season, defended Phyna.
He asserts that anyone who disrespects the HOH position is doing so out of pure condescension.

Comedian Seyi Law loses his mother
Popular Nigerian Comedian, Seyi Law is bereaved.
The Comedian took to his social media page to share the sad news that his mother passed away.
According to Seyi, his mother spoke with him and his family before her death.

Man seeks advice for his friend whose wife started acting strangely after relocating to the UK with him
A man has taken to Twitter to solicit advice for his friend whose wife started misbehaving after relocating to the UK with him.
According to the man identified as @iMotivateAfrica on Twitter, his friend dated his wife for four years before they got married in July 2021, and then relocated abroad a month after.
He said the plan was for his friend to focus on his studies in the UK, while his wife work and provide for their family.
However, things escalated in the first quarter of 2022 when the wife started acting strangely, keeping late nights and reneged on her financial responsibility.
The man said his friend is currently at a crossroad because he does not have money to complete his school fee payment.

“So last year July, my friend tied the knot with the love of his life of 4 years. It looked like a promising union but we were wondering why man rushed because he was barely 26 and she was 23 years old. As a matter of fact, he just got a job of 90k VAT inclusive.
A month after their union, he called me that he was in the UK already with his newly wedded wife. I was so happy for him and I wished him good success even as he was far away from home. Apparently, he is the scholar and his wife is the dependent. I.e, He goes to school and has only 20 hours to work per week while his wife was working full time and was making more money than he was.
The problem started in the first quarter of this year as she stopped dropping money for weekly as planned since she is automatically the breadwinner.
My friend said “She started from picking suspected calls, staying late out after work and refusing to drop money to sort the weekly bills which is supposed to be the plan.” Note: The whole japa tingy was an all expense paid relocation by the guy (my friend).
The problem has now escalated because my friend needs to pay the remaining school fees as it was half he paid before they both moved to the UK. Initial Plan: I go to school while you work and when I’m done with school, you will go to school while i work too.

A Nigerian man identified as Ken Ezo and his wife, Edith have cause for joy as they finally welcomed a baby girl after eighteen years of marriage.

Sarah Igunbor, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has advised young men against developing protruding stomach because it’s not a sign of wealth as popularly believed.
She stated this while reacting to recent pictures of President Buhari donning sport and native wears. According to Sarah, who used the president as the standard for all men, Buhari looked lovely in the outfits.

Buchi had taken to Twitter to advise men against dating broke women because they will not help them grow but drain them.

Young Nigerian lady shares how she squandered her first N1 million on ‘enjoyment’ (Video)
A young Nigerian lady is currently trending on social media after she detailed how she blew the sum of N1 million which she had in her account.
The pretty lady shared a video which showed screenshots of her N1,027,549 account balance and things she used the money to do in days, leaving her with only N99.
She spent the entire money on enjoyment and ended up having a balance of less than N100.
The snapshot showed that she originally had N1,027,548, but after going to a pricey restaurant and ordering food and drinks, she was left with N923,573.
After that, she went on a boat cruise with her friends, where they partied and drank expensive bottles of wine. She took out more, went shopping, played video games at an arcade, and then went to visit an expensive restaurant again.
She also traveled to Ghana to have a good time, spending what little money she had left there.
At the end of the video, she expressed regret as she shared a screenshot of her account balance, which had dropped to N99.

Four government workers arrested for withdrawing their late colleague’s money in Bauchi
Men of the Bauchi State Police Command have arrested four government officials for withdrawing the sum of N332,000 belonging to their late colleague.
The suspects have been detained in police custody for alleged forgery and fraud, according to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil.
The men were arrested after the next of kin of the deceased, Jibrin Adamu, who worked with the Bauchi State Ministry of Finance, went to process her father’s benefits only to discover that it had been withdrawn by some persons who used forged documents.
She reported the incident to the police who immediately swung into action, and launched an investigation which revealed that one Nasiru Samaila conspired with three others – Auwal Jibrin, Tijani Mohammad and Faruq Mohammad Nasiru to withdraw the money.
They “selfishly and mercilessly forged documents and accessed the sum of three hundred and thirty-two thousand (N332,000) naira belonging to the deceased and converted it to their personal use, shared the benefit among themselves.”
When they were interrogated, they all confessed to playing an active role in the crime. Nasiru said he received two hundred and twelve thousand naira (N212,000.00); Auwal, one hundred thousand nairas (N100,000.00); Faruq, twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00),
The police has however recovered N320,000.00 from the suspects, and they will be arraigned before a court soon.
LAUTECH graduate who returned his certificate and demanded refund of his school fees receives #500,000
Oludare Alaba, the graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) who went viral recently for demanding a refund of his school fees because it has been useless to him, has received the sum of #500,000.
A video of Alaba throwing tantrums at the school reception as he returned his certificate and demanded that all the fees he paid be refunded to him recently went viral and caused a stir online.

The expectant mother, in a video she shared on social media, expressed gratitude to God for turning her life around as she recounted how life was hard for her prior.
She claimed that God used her boss to change her life for the better. She got employed at her boss’ house as a cleaner, but two months into the job, her boss got interested in her and made her his wife.

“What God cannot do doesn’t exist!” – Actress, Zainab Balogun testifies after an ovarian cyst miraculously disappeared two days before her surgery (video)
Popular actress, Zainab Balogun, has gone online to share a powerful testimony of how an ovarian cyst in her body miraculously disappeared two days before she was scheduled for surgery.
The media personality, in a video shared on her Instagram page, said she two ovarian cyst were discovered in her body in 2020 and she underwent surgery to take them out.
She said in 2022, the cyst came back and this time, it was ‘stronger’ than before and she was advised to undergo another surgery to remove her left ovary and the cyst in order to protect her right ovary so they could harvest and freeze her eggs.
Zainab, who got married to her husband, Ditto Nwachukwu, in 2018, said she started trusting God for healing and told him she wanted to be completely healed in April.
She said in April, the cyst had reduced in size and she was thankful, but she told God that her healing was not yet complete.
Two days before her surgery, she went to the hospital for a pre-surgery scan and the doctors couldn’t find any cyst in her body anymore.
The actress, who described herself as a woman whom God has shown mercy, concluded by saying ‘what God cannot do does not exist’.

Nigerian lady commits suicide after her boyfriend allegedly used her money to marry another woman
A Nigerian lady, Olaitan Adonis, has committed suicide after her boyfriend, identified as Ola Saheed, reportedly used her funds to marry another woman.
Olaitan, who had a seven-year-old son, was in a serious relationship with the young man and was saving money in his bank account. He however used the money to marry someone else over the weekend.
Upon receiving the news, Olaitan, who was devastated by her lover’s betrayer, was said to have consumed a poisonous substance to end it all.
A source who spoke anonymously said,
“I heard they were together last Thursday, September 8, they even spent the night together, but on Friday, a friend of hers told her the guy is getting married on Sunday, September 11. She was said to have consumed a poisonous substance and died the following day, Saturday, September 10.”
The employer of the deceased who also spoke on the tragic incident, said,
“My salesgirl has been giving him money from my shop for upkeep, but he squandered the whole money. She even sent him N10k on Friday. After she ended it all, we called him and he said it’s none of his business.”
Meanwhile, friends and colleagues of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn her sad demise.
Man arrested after he was caught on camera disposing refuse inside a gutter in Lagos (video)
A man, identified as Mukaila Ismail Gado, has been arrested for disposing refuse into a gutter in Lagos State.
The middle aged man residing in the Alausa, Ikeja area of Lagos state, was nabbed after he was caught on camera emptying a sack filled with waste into a gutter while rain was falling.
The said video was shared on Twitter by @LagosWaste, who disclosed that the man was captured by the monitoring enforcement team division of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA).
They stated that the man will be arraigned before a court and risks being sentenced to jail for his crime.
“Caught in the act by @Lawma_gov monitoring enforcement team dumping refuse into the drainage during rainfall. He has been arrested for further investigation.
This one will definitely go to jail”
“This is a pure wickedness, we cannot continue to put the blame on government”
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Lagos State on New Media, Jubril Gawat, also confirmed that the man’s arrest.

Nigerian Professor, Uju Anya, has taken to Twitter to appreciate Nigerians for pitching their tent behind her after her tweet about the Queen of England went viral.
Recall that last Friday, ‘Uju Anya’ trended on Twitter because of a controversial tweet she put out after the queen’s health condition was made public.
In the tweet, she described Queen Elizabeth as the “chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire” and wished her an excruciating death.
Her tweet reads,
“I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating.
I only wish my hatred had the effect on her that her monarchy had on my people.”
After the monarch passed away, Uju was torn apart by netizens, including the former richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, for the vile tweet.
However, some people, especially Nigerians, stood gallantly behind her and said her anger at the Queen was justified.
Uju has now taken to Twitter to thank Nigerians for supporting her but added a caveat that she’s still gay.
She tweeted on Tuesday morning, September 13,

Man cancels wedding because fiancée refused to reveal who gifted her iPhone 13 Pro Max
A Nigerian man has reportedly called off his wedding to his fiancée over a phone gift from an unknown person.
The woman allegedly received an iPhone 13 Pro Max as a present from someone, and when her fiancé learned about it, he inquired as to who had given it to her, but she refused to tell him.
He confronted her to know who gifted her the pricey gadget, but she insisted on keeping the person’s identity a secret.
He ultimately canceled their wedding to avoid any unanticipated problems in their marriage since he was suspicious of her behavior.
A Nigerian woman who narrated the story in a video she shared on social media said that the man in question is her close friend and asked if he overreacted.

In a video she posted on TikTok, the grieving lady said she was anticipating the arrival of her child but sadly, she lost the baby after delivery.
She shared clips of herself flaunting her baby bump when she was heavily pregnant, and said she waited patiently for nine months to see and hold her child.
Unfortunately, her newborn baby didn’t make it out of the hospital alive and she returned home with only her hospital bag.
