The mother of the boy who destroyed their home has spoken up after a video showing the aftermath of the destruction went viral on the internet.
A report recently made rounds online that the boy, said to be 12-year-old, destroyed everything in the house because his mum seized his phone.
The boy destroyed all the household items, including a kitchen table, window, gadgets, television, toilet seats, and other items.
The video which is currently circulating online has elicited varying reactions from social media users, who shared their two cent on the incident.
While some berated the boy’s parents for failing to raise him properly and instill good qualities in him, others proffered ways they could discipline him for his action.

Well, the mom of the boy, has now released a video to clarify the claims being made online. She said the boy is not 12 as claimed, but 15 years old.
She said he didn’t destroy their house because she seized his phone, but rather, he has a mental illness that they have been battling with since he was born.
The mom further disclosed that she shared the video with someone she ‘trusted’, only for the person to share it on the internet.
Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has reacted after a man claimed he bought a cloth from a roadside stall just days after boasting about spending N50 million on designer clothing.
It would be recalled that the singer made headlines a few days ago after he bragged about owning more designer outfits than embattled Nigerian socialite, Hushpuppi.

Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Phyna, has advised fellow housemate Sheggz to refrain from getting involved in fights between his love interest, Bella, and other housemates.
Phyna gave Sheggz this advice on Wednesday night, when they were on a showmax date alongside Groovy, Chichi, Chomzy, and Eloswag.
Phyna, who on Tuesday afternoon had a heated argument with Bella, advised him to avoid interfering in his love interest’s fights with others, aside from coming in to calm her down.

It would be recalled that there was drama in the Big Brother Naija level-up house on Tuesday afternoon as Phyna and Bella got into a heated argument.

A Kenyan man has caused a stir after he revealed why he cheated on his wife.
The man, while speaking to a televangelist whom he and his wife had visited for counseling after she found out he cheated on her, said he did it to make her lose weight.
According to him, when he first met his wife in 2017, she was slim, which was one of the reasons he loved her, but after they got married in 2020, she started to gain weight and became less attractive in his eyes.
He said he signed her up at a gym in a bid to make her return to her former figure, but it didn’t work.
He recalled once asking her the reason for her sudden weight gain, and she told him it was because she had peace of mind.
So he decided to start having extra marital affairs to take away her peace so she could lose weight.
He said when she got to know of his affairs with other women, it gave her sleepless nights and she couldn’t eat regularly, which made her lose weight.
Speaking during the interview, he expressed his happiness that his strategy was successful, noting that his wife has regained the slim figure she had before they were married.
Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, the Governor of Ondo state is bereaved.
The Governor announced the demise of his mother who died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning.
Sharing her photo on his official Twitter page, he wrote –
My siblings and I announce, with deepest regret and total submission to the will of the Almighty, the passing into glory of our adorable, dutiful and ever dotting mother, Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu, this morning. She died peacefully in her sleep.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olatunde shared more details about her passing in a statement.
“The mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu is dead,” the statement reads.
“She died peacefully in her sleep early this morning. Mama was 90 years old.
“She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.”
Mr Olatunde said further announcements will be made by the family in “due course.”

A royal guard standing watch over Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin in Westminster Hall collapsed late Wednesday, September 14.
As mourners paid respects to the late monarch as she lay in state at Westminster Hall, one of the royal guards who was standing at the foot of the Queen’s casket suddenly fell to the floor.
Two men immediately hurried to help the guard who fell headfirst to the floor.

An Indian actress, Mahalakshni, has lashed out at those body-shaming her husband, Ravindar Chandrasekaran, and accusing her of marrying him for his money.

Nollywood actor, Somadina has lashed out at fans of Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Phyna, who didn’t agree with his tweet berating their fave over her fight with fellow housemate, Bella .

A mother of one who joined a viral TikTok trend of Nigerian ladies sharing their “grass to grace” stories has narrated how she gave birth to a baby boy for her boss, who employed her as a cook.
In a video she posted on social media in celebration of her success, the delighted woman, identified as Sally Manuel, said she had fallen in love with her employer not long after she started working at his residence.
Fortunately for her, he was a single man who was looking to settle down. She said he started making passes at her, they got intimate, she fell pregnant, and they recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
According to her, he has now promised to marry her by December.
Narrating her story, she wrote,
“I got employed to be the cook for this cute bachelor. The salary wasn’t good but I still did my job with joy. I had a crush on oga sha. I always smiled and watched him eat my food.

A 24-year-old woman, identified as Simphiwe, has kicked the bucket after she was reportedly ‘slapped’ by her father, Fannie Mtshali, during an altercation.
The incident took place in Mpumalanga, South Africa, on Saturday night and the suspect – the deceased’s father – has been arrested by the police.
It was reported that the 58-year-old man had a heated argument with his daughter around 11pm on the ill-fated day, which degenerated into a physical confrontation.
During the fight, Mtshali reportedly dealt a heavy ‘slap’ on his daughter’s face and she fainted immediately.
When the police and paramedics arrived the scene, the beautiful young lady had already given up the ghost.
Her father, Mtshali has been remanded in prison till his court hearing on September 19 for a formal bail application.
The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, reacting to the incident, said he was saddened by the lady’s death and wished the incident played out differently.
“Though children should be brought up to be disciplined however parents should avoid using violence. Parents are the ones that must protect their children as well as their families. Gender-Based-Violence remains classified as a pandemic and we cannot turn a blind eye on this dreadful scourge,” he added.
Evicted Big Brother Naija level-up housemate turned ‘guest’, Chomzy, has revealed that she dreamt about her life after the show.

Popular singer, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has attacked South African music producer, DJ Maphorisa, for giving credit to his colleagues, Wizkid and Burna Boy, for the success of Amapiano sound in Nigeria.
The drama started after Wizkid released his latest single ‘Bad to Me’ which infused the popular South African sound, Amapiano.
Reacting to this, a lady took to Twitter to state that Davido introduced Amapiano to the Nigerian music scene two years ago and now, Wizkid has adopted the sound.
“Davido brought Amapiano from South Africa two years ago and made it a successful genre in Africa and Beyond, Wizkid is now hopping on the same genre after davido made it a successful genre. This is how many African artists have been benefiting from Davido’s success for over 12yrs”, she tweeted.
However, this didn’t sit well with DJ Maphorisa, who asserted that Wizkid and Burna Boy were the first Nigerian singers to jump on the sound.

The tweet caught the eye of Davido, who knocked DJ Maporisa for for his statement, and accused him of hating him despite the fact that he has been nothing but good to him.

A 17-year-old trafficking victim, Pieper Lewis, who stabbed her rapist to death, was sentenced by a judge on Tuesday to five years of closely supervised probation.
The teenager, who was convicted on Tuesday, September 13, was also ordered by the court to pay $150,000 in restitution to her abuser’s family.
Lewis stabbed her abuser, 37-year-old Zachary Brooks, more than 30 times in June 2020. She was initially charged with first-degree murder, but last year, Lewis pleaded to involuntary manslaughter and willful injury, both of which are punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
The Polk County District Judge, David Porter, deferred those prison sentences on Tuesday, September 13; this means Lewis could serve 20 years if she violates her probation.
Porter said he ordered Lewis to pay restitution to Brooks’ family because the court was “presented with no other option.” He explained that the restitution is mandatory under Iowa law.
Lewis was 15 when she stabbed 37-year-old Zachary Brooks in a Des Moines apartment.
She ran away from home to escape her abusive adoptive mother. She was sleeping in the halls of an apartment building when Christopher Brown, 28, took her in and began trafficking her to other men for sex, according to prosecutors.
Brooks, who Lewis claims repeatedly raped her before she murdered him, was one of the guys she was being trafficked to. She recalled being forced at knifepoint to go to his apartment for sex. After Brooks raped her for what would end up being the last time, Lewis grabbed a knife off a bedside table and stabbed him.
Lewis’s account of being trafficked and abused is undisputed by both the police and the prosecution, but the prosecution contends that Brooks posed no imminent threat since he was asleep when he was stabbed.
Lewis will be transported to a halfway house in Des Moines and will wear a GPS tracking device to ensure she does not fall “back into the lifestyle that you thus far left,” Judge Porter said. She will also have to complete 200 hours of community service.
“My spirit has been burned, but still glows through the flames,” she read from a prepared statement prior to her sentencing. “Hear me roar, see me glow, and watch me grow. I am a survivor,” Lewis said.
Prosecutors, however, says Lewis shouldn’t have labeled herself a survivor, claiming she failed to take responsibility for Brooks’ death and left his children without a father.
“I took a person’s life. My intentions that day were not to just go out and take somebody’s life. In my mind, I felt that I wasn’t safe, and I felt that I was in danger, which resulted in the acts. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that a crime was committed. but to say there is one victim is absurd.” She continued.
Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke, has hinted at reuniting with her husband, Austin Faani, months after she announced the dissolution of her marriage on social media.

However, that wasn’t the first time the actress had publicly declared the end of her marriage. She posted a video in October 2020 announcing the dissolution of her marriage on grounds of domestic abuse.
She came out days later to state that she didn’t mean it and was suffering from bipolar disorder due to her pregnancy.
In a recent development, Chacha Eka has yet again declared her intention of reuniting with her husband, Austin Faani.
Chacha Eke made this disclosure during an Instagram live session where she answered a series of questions from her fans and followers.
At the beginning of the live session, the mother-of-four tried to shy away from questions about her marriage, stating that it would be a story for another day.
She did, however, make a reunion tease after a follower questioned why she still included her husband’s name, Faani, on her Instagram profile.
Replying, Chacha Eke said that the name is still on her IG page because it needs to be there. She claimed that social media users wouldn’t understand her marital saga.
According to her, she would return to her marriage when the moment is right, and is just waiting for the perfect time to present itself.
Speaking further, she maintained that her health condition has created problems for her. She asserts that occasionally she has symptoms and, rather than taking her prescriptions and relaxing, she finds herself venting on social media, which occasionally results in irreparable damage.
A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to share photos of what was found under the tiles of his newly-rented apartment in Lagos.
According to Twitter user, @Elkrosmediahub, he rented the space recently and decided to renovate the place and change the flooring to suit his taste.
However, when his tiler was breaking the old tiles, he found a charm-life object wrapped with a black thread buried underneath the tiles.
@Elkrosmediahub said his tiler sent pictures of the object to him, prompting him to contact the facility manager who seemingly accused a former female tenant of burying the charm in the property.
He tweeted;
“Took a space in Lagos recently, didn’t like the flooring, so I decided to break the tiles and add flooring amongst the renovation I was doing there. My tiler sent me these images yesterday. Said he found them buried under the tiles
Asked the facility manager and they said twas a woman that left before the last guy that used the space. Advice? If you can, always renovate. Change the floor and the POP. Humans are weird in this part of the country. It’s fine if you don’t believe in juju and stuff tho.”

In the video she shared on social media, she cooked different native soups, like efo riro, which she put in plastic bowls and stored in her boyfriend’s fridge.
She claims that since her boyfriend has more than enough to eat, this will stop ladies other than her boyfriend’s mother or sister from cooking for him at home.

In other news, a man has taken to Twitter to solicit advice for his friend whose wife started misbehaving after relocating to the UK with him.
According to the man identified as @iMotivateAfrica on Twitter, his friend dated his wife for four years before they got married in July 2021, and then relocated abroad a month after.
He said the plan was for his friend to focus on his studies in the UK, while his wife work and provide for their family.
However, things escalated in the first quarter of 2022 when the wife started acting strangely, keeping late nights and reneged on her financial responsibility.
The man said his friend is currently at a crossroad because he does not have money to complete his school fee payment.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, is celebrating her 64th birthday today, September 14.
To mark her new age, the thespian turned evangelist shared adorable photos of herself on her social media pages and expressed gratitude to God for another year.
In her caption, Ozokwo shared an important life lesson that she’s learned so far in life.
The sexagenarian stated that as one ages, they come to realize that life is not about who or what they have acquired, but rather about the people they have been able to bless with their existence.
“As you grow older, you start to understand more and more that life is not about what you look like or what you own, it’s all about the person you have become and the people you have blessed”. She wrote.
A while ago, Patience Ozokwo took to social media to address those who express concern about her aging appearance.
The veteran in an Instagram post stated that she is not afraid of getting old because life is fleeting so it’s better to fully enjoy your years on earth.
According to her, some people go the extra mile to cover up the fact that they are aging but she personally doesn’t need anyone’s validation about her looks.
“When did old age stop being a blessing? People do all manner of stuff to cover up aging – good for them! I own my age and experience with my full chest and count it an enormous blessing.

Aging is not unattractive or undesirable.

Popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, has reunited with his estranged wife, Anita, for the first time since she filed for divorce.
It would be recalled that in August 2021, news made the rounds that Anita, a mother of three, had filed for a divorce from the singer.
She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind her decision in a court petition that was shared online.
Well, a video of the estranged couple who reunited to spend time with their children has been shared online and stirred sweet reactions from fans.
Anita, her estranged husband, Paul, and their children visited a gaming lounge, and from the clips from the outing that were shared online, it was clear the family had so much fun.

This comes after a copy of the court petition filed by celebrity wife, Anita Okoye against her husband, Paul Okoye, found its way to the internet.
In the court petition that leaked online Anita accused the singer of sleeping with one of their housemaids.
It was also alleged that Paul sent Anita and her sister packing after they found out about his illicit affair with the housemaid, and accused him of not being remorseful for his actions and bragging about having the affair to “clip Anita’s wings”.
It was also contained in the document that the singer was an absentee father who wasn’t interested in the upbringing of their children, and was rarely home due to the nature of his career.
