Nigerian businesswoman, Maureen Esisi a.k.a Red Vigor, has opened up on the state of her mind following the death of her father.
Maureen, who lost her dad few weeks ago, took to her Instagram page to reveal that she has been struggling with being happy.
According to her, it used to be easy for her to be full of life and maintain a happy countenance, but it has been hard lately.
The content creator, who was previously married to actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, said happiness feels like a luxury she can’t afford right now.

BBNaija level-up housemate, Segun Olusemo, better known as Sheggz, has issued a threat at his fellow housemate, Rachel, following a clash over food.
Last night, Sheggz had a serious fight with Rachel because she served his love interest, Bella, beef when everyone knows she doesn’t like beef.
However, Rachel, who prepared dinner for all the housemates, said Bella was the one who requested for beef instead of chicken. The professional footballer didn’t buy her explanation and called her ‘stupid’ for her action.
This aggravated Rachel and she lambasted him and his entire generation for calling her ‘stupid’. The fight degenerated into a fiery war of words and they began insulting each other.
Bella, who was the subject of contention, took her man’s side and berated Rachel for insulting Sheggz’s generation.
She also angrily returned the plate of food back to Rachel and in the process, it poured on the dining table. However, it’s not clear if she intentionally poured the food away.
Following the verbal altercation, emotions were still high and Sheggz threatened Rachel, saying if she doesn’t beg him before December, then he is not who he says he is.
The Lagos big boy also swore on his mother’s life, and asked their fellow housemates to bear him witness.
“Rachel, I’m telling you, if you don’t beg me this year, my name is not Segun. Go and write it down; laugh about it, I swear on my mother’s life. You’re mad!” he said as he walked away angrily.

After three months in captivity, kidnapped Kaduna toddler dies 5 days after regaining freedom.
A toddler, Ewhalshoh Mandela Mairabo, who alongside her mother and 29 others, was among the kidnapped victims of the Kaduna-Train attack, three months ago has died five days after regaining freedom.
The victims were kidnapped by bandits in May 2022 at Dogon-noma in Maro Ward, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna state.
They were released on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, after payment of N5m ransom and two motorcycles. One of the victims was killed in captivity.
A member of the community identified as Istifanus Egoh Destiny, revealed that the toddler died on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Bella, may risk a strike after she spilled food on fellow housemate, Rachel, during an argument last night.
Rachel, who had volunteered to make food for the house, alongside Phyna and Chichi, prepared rice for the entire house last night. However, while she dished the food, Bella seemed not pleased as she insisted she wanted beef while Rachel gave her chicken.
Rachel tried to explain that there were only four beefs in the soup, and people had already told her they wanted it before Bella came.
This ticked off Bella’s lover, Sheggz, who lambasted Rachel and said that by now, Rachel should have known his woman’s likes and dislikes.
Sheggz called Rachel stupid, and she retaliated by calling him and his family unprintable names.
In an attempt to defend her lover, Bella returned the food Rachel dished out for her, shoving it in her face, and the food poured, which threw the house into chaos.
Clips from the fight caused a stir online, with many calling for Bella to be sanctioned by Big Brother.

A visually impaired woman who is married to a partially blind lawyer has said she’s sure her husband is handsome even though she can’t see him.
The unconventional couple, whose union made headlines earlier this year, shared their unique love story in a recent interview with BBC News Pidgin.
The woman, identified as Amarachi Onyekwere, and her husband, Thank God, got married traditionally in 2019 and welcomed a son in the same year.
Speaking in the interview, Amarachi said her biggest wish is to see her husband and son, and it would gladden her heart if God grants her desire.
She however stated that she knows her husband is good-looking because she has touched and felt his face.
The mother of one said her husband’s family disapproved of their marriage and refused to give their blessings because of her visual impairment.
However, her husband stood his ground and proceeded with the marriage against all odds.
Thank God, speaking, said he loves his wife a lot because she is very hardworking and does things that some women with good eyesight can’t do.

Nigerian woman gives birth at 33,000ft on flight from Turkey to the UK
A pregnant Nigerian woman, identified as Nweke Ifeoma gave birth on a Turkish Airline flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Manchester, United Kingdom.
Ifeoma went into labour while on the flight on Monday, September 5, and she was delivered of a baby girl.
The Cabin crew tried to take Ifeoma to a more secluded part of the aircraft and asked over the loudspeaker if there was a doctor on board.
Luckily a doctor stepped up and along with the air hosts and hostesses, helped deliver the tot at 33,000ft.
The Cabin crew cut the newborn’s umbilical cord and the pilot diverted the plane to Vienna International Airport in Austria.
In a statement on Tuesday, September 6, Turkish Airlines said the flight was diverted to Vienna International Airport, where paramedics were waiting for the new mother and baby upon landing.
“Cabin crew members are trained for these type of situations,” the statement added.
Paramedics met the new mum and her baby on the tarmac before taking them to the hospital.
Both were found to be in good health, although the baby’s name and weight has not been revealed.

The multiple award-winning singer, who is known for making silent moves, just acquired a Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge, Lamborghini Aventador, and a Mercedes Maybach Minivan.
The logistics company, MOA Global Services, took to their official Instagram page to announce the singer’s expensive purchases, along with pictures and videos of the luxury cars.

“Jesus told me not to get married again” – Clergyman Chris Okotie
Popular clergyman, Chris Okotie, has said that he is not interested in getting married again after two failed marriages.
Okotie’s first marriage crashed in 2001, and then he gave another shot at marriage in 2008, but the union ended in 2012.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Pidgin, the senior pastor of the Household of God Church International Ministries, said Jesus has told him not to get married again.
He disclosed that God called him to be celibate like the Apostle Paul in the Bible, but he did not understand until he grew older.
According to the 64-year-old cleric, Jesus told him the issue of marriage was over for him.
“I’m not getting married again because Jesus has already told me that one has ended. When I was saved, when I became born again, I was in university at the time. I did not understand the will of God for my life.
“I called you like Paul. I tried to stop you at that time, but you didn’t listen. I want you to live a life of dedication to me and the work I called you for. So marriage is not on the menu again, never”. The clergyman said.

Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Groovy appears to be really upset with his lover, Phyna, as he snubs her as she engages in a brawl with fellow housemate, Chomzy.
On Wednesday afternoon, Phyna and Chomzy had an argument over food. The drama started when Phyna made macaroni for herself and a few other former level 2 housemates.
This triggered Chomzy, who then publicly stated that the level 2 housemates should maintain the same energy outside the house. Phyna replied, and there was an exchange of words between the ladies.
However, amid this, Groovy, Phyna’s lover, did not attempt to defuse the situation in any way; instead, he simply observed while the two ladies came at each other.

“I’ll stay till death” – Lady vows to be loyal to her man who lost a leg while trying to save her (Video)
A Nigerian lady has stirred emotions after she narrated how her boyfriend lost a leg while trying to save her.
The lady, identified as Ekua Dimple, shared a video of her man with a fractured leg and explained that due to the severe injury he sustained while trying to save her, he is now unable to walk again.
In the video, she and her man were in a car, and he was driving with only his left leg, as the right one remained still.
Grateful for her man’s sacrifice, Ekua vowed to never leave him.
“He got injured because he wanted to save me, and he cant walk again. I promise I’m gonna stay till death do us part”, she wrote.

In other news, a Nigerian mother of two who left her marriage of eight years has taken to social media to celebrate her seven-year divorce anniversary.
The young woman identified as @iphieajike on Twitter expressed her joy at having survived the marriage and reflected on how apprehensive she felt about her future when she divorced her partner.
She said she moved out of her matrimonial house with her two children seven years ago after divorcing her spouse.
“Today 7 years ago, I left my marriage of 8 yrs with two little girls and moved out here. Alone, afraid and unsure of what the future held but knowing without a shadow of doubt that it was time. Cheers to making it out alive! 🥂 🎉” She wrote.

Kwara Police allegedly dump student in front of his hostel after he became unconscious in their custody (video)
Men of the Kwara State Police Command have been accused of dumping a student in front of his hostel after he became unconscious in their custody.
In a video shared on social media, the victim, who is currently hospitalized and said to be an international student, narrated what transpired.
He said he and his friends were apprehended by the policemen who ordered them to enter their police van.
The police recognized one of them and asked him to go, while the remaining two were told to enter their vehicle.
The officers then asked for their phones which they willingly surrendered. When they didn’t find anything incriminating, the officers turned to his friend and asked why he’s not into internet fraud a.k.a ‘Yahoo Yahoo’.
The victim said he told his friend not to respond to the question and this infuriated the officers who in turn started beating him.
He said they drove them to the station, collected their phones and locked them in a cell.
He said he lost consciousness inside the cell and out of fear, the police took him back to his hostel and dumped him there.
The caretaker, who claimed to have witnessed the incident, said the officers came in a blue van and dropped the victim.
The PRO of the state police command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, while reacting to the allegations, said,
“This allegation would be thoroughly investigated, it is very unprofessional if it truly happened the way the story was painted. I can assure you guys the needful would be done. Dm me the name and address of the hostel and hospital please.”

Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Bella, has stated that fellow housemate, Phyna, has survived multiple nominations because she was up with weak housemates.
Bella, who’s up for possible eviction with fellow housemates Doyin, Chizzy, Rachel, Chomzy, Eloswag, Bryan, and Phyna, said this on Wednesday morning during a conversation with some colleagues.
According to her, the reason Phyna has been surviving evictions is because she hadn’t been up with them (Level 1 housemates).
Recall that the 25-year-old hype girl has been nominated for possible eviction more than three times, including last week when the entire house was up.
“People say maybe Phyna is so strong, but she has never been up with us. People that have gone are people that are weak”, she said.

The former season 7 housemate, speaking on the “to be honest” show, said Groovy is not into Phyna.
According to him, the 26-year-old budding singer is only going along with the game and using her as a strategy to remain in the house.
“Groovy doesn’t like Phyna, he is just playing the game, he is using her and riding on her popularity. It’s surprising that out of all the girls in the house, he decided to date Phyna.” He said.
Actor, Yul Edochie recounts how God miraculously saved him from a freak accident
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has taken to social media to recount how God miraculously saved him from a ghastly accident.
It would be recalled that in June 2019, the actor was involved in a ghastly motor accident along the Benin-Ore road, but luckily he survived.
Taking to his Twitter handle Wednesday morning to recount how God miraculously saved him from the incident that could have claimed his life, Yul said God brought him out of the somersaulting vehicle and put him back in after the car stopped moving.
He affirmed the greatness of God and pledged to never stop praising him.
“When I had that fatal accident, God removed me from the car as the car was somersaulting and He put me back after the car had stopped moving. Why will I not praise Him? God is great.” He wrote.
