Sammy West, the brother of popular actress and mum of two, Regina Daniels-Nwoko, has reacted after the actress returned to Nigeria from Jordan with their mother, Rita Daniels, in a private jet.
The 21-year-old billionaire wife welcomed her second son, Prince Khalifa, in the Arab nation on the 29th of June, and remained there to recuperate.
In a new update, her mom, Rita, took to her Instagram page on Monday, August 23, to announce that they have returned back to Nigeria.
She shared a picture of herself cradling her daughter’s new born son beside a private jet and wrote,

Instagram slay queen, Teju Pretty, has reacted after she was beaten and disgraced for allegedly refusing to pay back a N150k debt since 2020.
It was earlier reported that the controversial Instagram big girl was attacked by a hair vendor, Rhiks, for allegedly owing her N150k and refusing to pay back.
Rhiks, who narrated the genesis of the incident via Snapchat, said in 2020 she mistakenly transferred N800k to Teju, who was an influencer for her business at the time.
She said she contacted Teju to refund the money because it was meant for her lawyer, but she kept giving her excuses and managed to pay back N650k.
Till date, Teju allegedly refused to refund the balance of N150k even after she asked for it repeatedly, and became rude to her and berated her for ‘disturbing her peace’ because of the N150k.

Reality TV star and businesswoman, Nina Ivy has reprimanded her two-year-old son, Denzel, for bullying his classmate on his first day at school.
The Atlanta-based mother of one received a minor incident report from her son’s school on Monday, August 22, and it was reported that he pulled his classmate’s hair so hard that she fell to the ground.
Following his offence, his teacher had a heart-to-heart conversation with him and told him to stop using brutal force on his friends at school.

Popular crossdresser, Bobrisky has called out a fashion stylist for allegedly absconding with N2 million he paid for his birthday shoot styling.
Bobrisky disclosed that the stylist contacted him on Snapchat and pitched himself to her, to which she agreed to work with him for her forthcoming birthday shoot.
They agreed on 8 different dresses for the photoshoot and she initially sent him N1.5 million, and sent another N500k to his fashion designer.
However, the stylist failed to deliver any dress for the shoot and still kept requesting for his N1 million balance.

A 25-year-old father, Elisha Tari, who was arrested for killing two of his children in Adamawa, has given reasons for the heinous crime.
Tari was arrested by men of the Adamawa State Police Command last Thursday, August 18, for stoning two of his children (3 and 5 years old, respectively) to death.
The suspect, while being paraded before newsmen on Monday, August 22, confessed to the crime. According to him, he got provoked when the two kids kept saying “fire” when he asked them to say God.
“I became irritated and provoked by their action as a result which I picked up stones and hit them on their heads to death. I smoke indian hemp, drink alcohol and inhale snuff. I do not in any way take tramadol or any other hard drugs.” He said
According to him, his wife and the mother of the deceased children left their matrimonial home over 2 months ago and all efforts to make her return proved abortive.
He claimed he went to his in-laws on several occasions to persuade their daughter to return home, but his in-laws denied him access to his wife and instead kept on deceiving him.
He said the deceased children came to meet him on that fateful day while he was cooking, and he asked them when their mother would return home.
He further stated that he has a psychological problem, and was once tied with chains because of a mental disorder.

Hours after making a post about not having a plan B on his Facebook page, a young Nigerian man, identified as Khaleel Sulaiman, has perished in a motor accident.
The tragic accident took place in Plateau state over the weekend barely five hours after he wrote, “I don’t have plan (B) Is do or die” on his Facebook story.
Though the details of the accident are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, friends and colleagues of the deceased have gone online to mourn his sudden and unfortunate demise.
The suspect, a resident of Idi Oro street, Ode Remo, was arrested on August 17 following a complaint received from the victim. The teenager had reported at Ode Remo divisional headquarters that her father, with whom she has been living with for some years now, has been having carnal knowledge of her.
She stated further that her father has also been inviting men to the house to sleep with her, after which the men will pay him money.
Following the complaint, the suspect, Amoda Bola, was arrested at his residence.

A transgender prisoner who impregnated two of her fellow inmates at a women’s prison in New Jersey, revealed she tried to remove one of her testicles with a razor after being misgendered at her new men’s facility.
Demi Minor, 27, got moved from Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Union Township to the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility (GSYCF) with male inmates in June after guards discovered the pregnancies.
Minor, who is serving a 30-year sentence for stabbing her former foster father to death, has since complained that she has been mistreated and abused at her new prison, where staff are refusing to acknowledge her gender identity.
In an August 18 post on her Justice 4 Demi blog, she revealed she ended up in the emergency room after using a razor to cut out one of her testicles in an apparent suicide attempt.
‘When I began to bleed, I did not even think about dying. I just thought about finally having relief from the pain that I felt,’ Minor wrote.
‘Being here in a male prison, amplifies the harm that I once felt… I hate it all.’

The video of a crossdresser confronting a couple of market men who harassed him for dressing like a lady was shared online.
In the video that’s serving rounds, the crossdresser who was clad in a blue dress, had his nails colored blue and also donned a wig when he visited the market to purchase some things.
He was however harassed by some market men for being a man and dressing like a woman. Responding to them, the effeminate is heard saying “Are you feeding me? I am an entertainer”.

In other news, controversial Instagram big girl, Teju Pretty was beaten and disgraced for allegedly refusing to pay back the sum of N150k she was owing an hair vendor, Rhiks hair.
Rhiks, who took to Snapchat to narrate the genesis of the incident, said in 2020 she mistakenly transferred N800k to Teju who was an influencer for her business at the time.
She said she contacted Teju to refund the money because it was meant for her lawyer, but she kept giving her excuses and managed to pay back N650k.
Till date, Teju allegedly refused to refund the balance of N150k even after she asked for it repeatedly, and became rude to her and berated her for ‘disturbing her peace’ because of N150k.
Rhiks decided to take matters into her hands, and seemingly lured Teju to a location where she confronted, beat and stripped her naked for failing to refund her money. Watch video here
Popular clergyman and marriage counsellor, Kingsley Okonkwo has said Jesus Christ is not against divorced people getting married again.
During a sermon in his church recently, Pastor Okonkwo said he doesn’t know where people got the notion that the Bible is against divorcees remarrying.
According to him, Jesus is only against couples who are separated but not fully divorced getting married again.
His words,
“Jesus never said you can’t remarry when you are divorced. I don’t know where people even got it from. So what confuses people is that Jesus said if you put away your wife and you go and remarry, you are committing adultery
There is putting away and there is what is call giving a bill of divorcement. Putting away is separation. Giving a bill of divorcement is the proper divorce. When you are seperated you are not divorced. Some couple separate so they can work on the marriage. Some times they come together.
In counselling we call it controlled separation, so you are separated but working with a counsellor.
Separation is not divorce. You can separate and come back. When you are separated, you can’t go and remarry. That is what Jesus means that when you separate and go and remarry you are committing adultery because you are not divorced and if you go and marry somebody that is just separated and divorced, you are also committing adultery because the person is not preperly divorced. That is what it means.
The bible is clear that once you divorce someone you can remarry.”
The Vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima, is currently trending on Twitter over the outfit he wore to the Nigeria Bar Association Conference in Lagos State.
Shettima was representing the APC national leader and presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, at the 62nd Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) conference that was held today, Monday, August 22, in Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos state.
The 55-year-old was dressed in a suit and tie, accompanied by a pair of gym shoes, which has elicited reactions from social media users.
Reacting, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri shared Shettima’s photo and tweeted,
“This is Tinubu’s running mate at the NBA Conference today. Look at his feet. Who in his right mind wears a suit and tie and then puts on a pair of gym shoes to a conference? If Shettima does not know how to dress himself, how can he address Nigeria’s challenges?”

Veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has said that he started doubting people’s intentions after he was poisoned.
The comic-act, who had previously spoken about his near-death experience after being poisoned, said in an interview with Punch that he now finds it hard to trust people and is wary of new faces around him considering that someone he had helped in the past attempted to take his life.
He further revealed that he is still undergoing treatment in Abuja because there are still some remnants of the poison in his system.
“These days, I am usually skeptical because I later found out that it was somebody I had helped in the past (who poisoned me). If not for God, the result would have been bad. As I speak with you now, I am still being treated somewhere in Guzape, Abuja,” He said.
A while ago, Mr Ibu shared the sad story of how he almost lost his life after he was poisoned a couple of times by his staff who he alleged were paid by his kinsmen to kill him.
Mr Ibu sharing his near death experience in an interview with Nigizietv stated that if not for God he would have been dead by now.
According to him, the poison made his stomach big that he couldn’t see his legs, adding that he was placed on medications which began to help reduce his bulging stomach.
It would be recalled that in July, 2022, Abdulkareem’s management called for prayers for him and revealed he was set to undergo kidney transplant.
Well, giving an update on the procedure in a statement released on Monday, August 22, his management stated that the singer has successfully undergone kidney transplant.
The statement further noted that Eedris and his wife, Yetunde, who is his kidney donor, were both recuperating.

A video showing the moment the presidential aspirant was welcomed and hailed by the audience has been shared on social media and has gotten people talking.
Asides Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of other leading parties, Atiku Abubakar of PDP, Bola Tinubu of APC and Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP were also invited.
However, only Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and the vice presidential candidate of APC, Kashim Shettima, who is presumed to be representing Bola Tinubu, were present at the event.

The former Anambra State governor attended a service held at the 100,000 seat capacity church founded by Pastor Paul Enenche on Friday, July 29, and was given a warm reception by the church leaders.
During the service, Pastor Eneche’s wife, Becky, took to the pulpit to announce the presence of the presidential aspirant.
“And we also have tonight, Mr Peter Obi who has joined for the service this evening,” she said.
Immediately his presence was announced, the congregants went agog and jumped to their feet while giving a roaring welcome to the politician.
John Nyabuto Kiyondi, the father of a 24-year-old Kenyan lady, Hellen Wendy Kemunto, who drowned in Canada, has spoken for the first time since her tragic death.
Hellen Wendy Kemunto, a nursing student in Canada died last Thursday while live-streaming herself swimming in a pool.
Speaking on the tragic incident, the 55-year-old bereaved father said he was overcome with emotions as he painfully watched his daughter’s life come to a stop after drowning in a swimming pool.
According to him, he did not first realize why the video was trending.
“I watched the clip from my phone. I saw it was my daughter swimming excitedly. I did not see anything unusual. She was just swimming, talking to the camera, and she looked very happy. However, I saw people writing sorrowful comments, and I did not understand why they were saying bad news, yet she was just swimming”, he said.
He said he missed the few final moments where Wendy drowned before the live footage went silent until someone from Canada called him to convey the news of her demise.
“Reality hit me when a Kenyan from Canada called and explained to me that my daughter drowned as documented in the sad clip while swimming. I was so shocked and couldn’t stop crying”. He said.
The father also revealed that Wendy, who was studying nursing, left home five years ago and had not returned since.
“She is our firstborn daughter. She travelled to Canada in 2018 and was studying nursing. Wendy was my only hope.”
Speaking further with Nation Kenya, he said she had applied for and won a chance to live in Canada, the equivalent of the US Green Card.
“While in high school, she used to tell me that she harboured the dream of going overseas. One evening, she came home and told me she had won herself a ‘Green Card’ to go to Canada. She asked me to help her raise her airfare. I went to a local chama, borrowed some money and together with what I had saved, we saw her off,” Mr Nyabuto said, amid tears.
According to Kiyondi, his late daughter Hellen put a lot of effort into their family’s success in Kenya since she was aware of how difficult things were for them there.
