Popular media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Cynthia, have served hot couple goals in a new video that was shared online.

The mother of two had posted a video of herself on social media gushing about her husband and affirming her love for him.

A frisky Ebuka, however, responded to his wife’s remark in an unexpected way.

Ebuka asked her to prove her love, and Cynthia bent over to give him a kiss.

Shortly after the kiss, Ebuka burst into laughter and noted that anybody can kiss just about anyone; thus, a kiss alone does not suffice to demonstrate her love.

The hilarious exchange between the power couple had many people drooling.

A video showing the moment an American woman discovered that she has been ‘catfished’ by someone posing as popular Nigerian singer, Flavour, has gone viral.

The not-so shocking discovery was made on an episode of MTVCatfish when the singer was contacted by the show host to inquire if he knows the young woman, identified as Kimberly.

Apparently, Kimberly had been chatting with someone pretending to be the ‘Nwa Baby’ crooner for about six months and believed it was the singer.

However, when Flavour was contacted on video call, he said he doesn’t know the woman and noted that this is not the first time he’s meeting someone who has been deceived by someone pretending to be him.

To prevent a reoccurrence, the Enugu-born singer noted that all his social media accounts are verified and he doesn’t give out his personal information to strangers.

The 38-year-old music star who was sympathetic towards Kimberly, then apologized to her over the traumatic experience.

In a video serving rounds on social media, the Moscow-based white lady revealed she got her first tattoo of the singer’s face on her shoulder in 2015.

Flaunting her latest tattoo, the woman identified as Marina, disclosed that she inked another tattoo of Flavour on her left arm just to show how dear his songs are to her.

Marina who dubbed the ‘Good woman’ crooner as the best singer said, “For many years I like one big Nigerian singer, he’s Mr Flavour… I really like his songs, for me he’s the best, so because of this I put on my body, some tattoo of him”.

A Chinese father has sparked outrage online after reportedly abandoning his son at school after finding out he’s not his biological child.

It was gathered that last week, the man took his 5-year-old son to school as he usually did but this time, he didn’t return to pick him up.Dad abandons

Troubled by this, the boy’s teacher identified as Chen, placed a call to his father to ask why he’s yet to pick up his son from school but he vehemently refused to come to the school, stating that he conducted a DNA test and discovered he’s not the biological father of his son.

The angry father further stated that the boy who is being identified with the alias “Xiao Rui” is now the school’s problem.

Chen also went to Xiao’s house in a bid to drop him off but discovered that the place was empty and the boy’s mother was also nowhere to be found.

Following the incident, the school contacted the police who called Ziao’s grandfather and uncle but they allegedly also refused to pick the boy up.

The news has sparked outrage on Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, as Chinese citizens express disappointment in both the father and mother of the little boy.

Video shows massive group of illegal migrants crossing into US

Hundreds of illegal migrants have been captured on camera crossing into the United States through the southern border in Texas.

This reportedly marks one of the largest groups to flood into the U.S. in recent months.

In the video shared on Twitter by Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, hundreds of illegal border crossers were being guided into the water by smugglers at the river in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday, July 14.

“The line of people went so far into the trees, it’s hard to get a count. Hundreds upon hundreds.” Melugin tweeted.

In another tweet, Melugin revealed that when the group first entered the water, no Border Patrol officers were on scene, “only one Texas National Guard humvee.”

Federal sources told Fox there were 2,258 illegal crossings in Del Rio Sector on Tuesday alone. Over a seven-day period, there were more than 13,000 crossings in the sector.

Texas lawmakers immediately accused the Biden administration of enabling the crossings, and called on the White House to work with Congress to stop the border crisis.

“This is one of the biggest groups we have EVER seen at our southern border. The time is now for this Administration to work with Congress to disincentivize this dangerous mass migration,” Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas) tweeted.

“The Biden administration needs to wake up and stop ignoring the very real, very dangerous situation at our southern border,” Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas) wrote.

Kenyan woman allegedly stabs her husband to death over phone text messages

A Kenyan woman, Cyndy Trinic, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing her husband to death during a fight that broke out over his refusal to give her his phone to go through his text messages.

According to witnesses, the deceased, 31-year-old Charles Okoth Onyango, walked to a bar located along Homa Bay-Kendu Bay Road, ordered some drinks, and was seated alone at a corner before his wife later joined him.

They got into an altercation while they were both drinking. The suspect is said to have been requesting Onyango’s phone to read the texts the deceased had been getting.

Onyango reportedly refused to release control of the phone and started accusing the suspect of interrogating him instead.

What started as a simple conversation between the couple later turned out to be a quarrel that attracted the attention of other patrons at the bar.

At the time the argument got to its peak, the woman withdrew a knife and stabbed Onyango in the chest. She’s said to have carried the knife in her handbag.

Onyango died at the scene after being seriously wounded on the chest.

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, July 13.

Homa Bay town location Chief Joshua Ochogo, who confirmed the incident said the couple was acting under the influence of alcohol.

“They were drunk and their actions were controlled by alcohol,” he said.

Homa Bay Sub county Police Commander, Sammy Koskeyi said investigation into the incident is ongoing. “The suspect is in custody as investigators look into what led to their disagreement,” he said.

The body of the deceased was taken to Homa Bay County teaching and referral hospital mortuary.

Body of driver of vehicle swept away by flood in Lagos finally recovered

In a new update, the corpse of the driver of the Lexus Jeep that was swept away by flood in the Orile Agege area of Lagos state over the weekend has been recovered.

It would be recalled that the white Jeep was swept away by heavy flood during the torrential rain that fell on Saturday, July 9. Three passengers of the vehicle were rescued alive while one occupants managed to escape in the nick of time.

Sadly, the lifeless body of the owner of the vehicle who has been identified as Oluwaseyi Last Born, has been found in Aboru. It’s presumed that he was the one driving the car when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Another occupant, identified as Oluwaseyi Vella, has also been confirmed dead.

In other news, Reality TV star and socialite, Tacha recently lambasted rich Nigerians who reside in the Lekki area of Lagos state and have failed to use their connections and access to people in authority to solve the recurrent issue of flood in the environment.

On Saturday, July 9, Lagos state witnessed a heavy downpour and most parts of the state were hit with heavy flood.

In a video she shared, Tacha stated that she has lived in Lekki for three years and has experienced floods every year. She asked why those who live in the area and have access to the government cannot use it to bring a lasting solution to the problem.

“Hell does not exist, there will be no Judgement Day” – Music producer, Mr Logic

Controversial Ghanaian music producer and radio entertainment pundit, Emmanuel Bance, popularly known as Mr. Logic, has said that hell does not exist. 

Speaking in a recent interview on the Day Break Hitz show on Hitz FM in Accra, he also asserted that there will be no judgement day as Christianity preaches.

According to him, God does not have the time to line people up and ask them questions about how they lived their lives on earth.

“Death in itself is a punishment. There’s no hell anywhere. God doesn’t have the time to line up people to ask them how many people they slept with and all that. God doesn’t have time for that. There’s no such thing in the Bible.” He said.

In related news, a viral video of a popular Nigerian pastor assuring his congregation that sin can never take a man to hell has stirred controversy on social media.

According to the clergy man, it’s impossible for an unrepentant sinner to go to hell because Jesus Christ died to pay for the sins of men.

President Muhammadu Buhari says he is leaving not any inheritance for his children beyond the training and education he gave them.

Buhari made the statement in Daura, Katsina as he implored parents to inculcate right values in children, including the fear of God, respect for constituted authorities and living a purposeful life through continuous education.

In his words; “I was locked up for more than three years, after leading the country. At that point, I realised and I told my children that your net worth is what is in your head, not what you have acquired in life.

My focus has always been on training the children to be relevant wherever they find themselves. I told my children, particularly the girls, that they can only get married after getting first degree.

They already know that I am not leaving anything for anyone to inherit. My greatest legacy to the children is to ensure they are properly educated.

We should ensure the children get proper education. The knowledge they acquire should not be towards getting government jobs. We don’t have jobs in government anymore. With technology, governments are becoming more smaller, nimble and efficient.

Emphasis should now be on skills acquisition and competence in creation and deployment of technology. During the Covid-19, we asked all level 12 downward to stay at home, and surprisingly the systems worked effectively.”

Popular Nollywood actress, Mo Bimpe, has finally reacted to reports that she and Yomi Fabiyi fell out because he demanded sex for a movie role.

Recall that the actor and movie director was recently called out by his baby mama, Grace Amarachi, who accused him of demanding coitus from actresses to feature them in his movie.

It was alleged that Grace’s relationship with the actor was a case of “sex for roles,” which eventually led to pregnancy. Amid this, rumours also started peddling that Mo Bimpe and Yomi Fabiyi fell out because he demanded intercourse in exchange for a role in his movie.

A fan during a question and answer session asked the actress to clear the air on these allegations, and she responded.

Zane Edochie, one of the four children of Yul Edochie and his first wife, May, turned five on Thursday, July 13 and was celebrated on social media by his mum and dad.

About 20 people, including children, got injured after a fairground ride collapsed in Italy, officials have said.

Families that attended a festival in Palma Campania, near Naples, had packed onto the chair swing ride on Sunday afternoon, July 10, when the accident occurred.

Footage shows the base of the ride starting to shake violently shortly after reaching maximum speed. Bystanders are heard shouting as it then begins to lift free from its safety shackles and topples over onto its side.

Parents are later seen rushing over to check on their children.

One 12-year-old remained in hospital on Wednesday, July 13, according to local media.

Detectives are investigating an individual responsible for the fairground on suspicion of causing injury through negligence by allowing the ride to suffer structural failure.

The fairground operator had earlier told local reporters it was a “miracle nobody was killed“. The ride collapsed just a few hours before the fairground was due to end, the town’s mayor said.

Video of doctor who raped pregnant woman while she was giving birth is released

The video of the Brazilian anesthetist putting his genital in a pregnant woman’s mouth during her C-section has been released.

The doctor, identified as Giovanni Quintella Bezerra, 32, was arrested on suspicion of rape after he was secretly filmed orally raping a woman after he heavily sedated her at the Hospital da Mulher in São João de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro. ICYMI

Hospital staff were reportedly worried about the amount of drugs Bezerra was giving to his patients. The doctor is said to have used so much anaesthetic that the mothers would be unable to hold their babies after delivering.

The staff members who recorded the rape revealed the doctor had already carried out two similar procedures that day, with police investigating whether those two women were also victims of attack.

The custody hearing of the doctor was held on Tuesday, July 12. He is facing charges of rape with a prison sentence ranging from 8 to 15 years in Brazil.

One Jiji Jack on Facebook, took to the platform to share photos of the interesting array of items the father presented to his daughter at the traditional wedding ceremony.

“Take these items to your new home, Aondonengen Ansha to his daughter, Anmadam Ella, as she hooks silver Traditionally today” he wrote.

Among the gift items are a bag filled with cash, a bed frame with a mattress in it, wardrobe, standing mirror, refrigerator, gas cylinder and a couple of other items.

In a documentary on her husband’s life and career produced by Femi Odugbemi, Joke Silva opened up on how they met on a production set and the journey to their love affair.

She said ;
“It was just before the celebration of Nigeria’s 21st anniversary. Ms Edith Enem was the artistic director of the National Theatre at the time, and they wanted to put up a production of ‘Jero’s Metamorphosis.

We were in rehearsals one day at the main bowl…and I was told to go call Ms Enem to come and take a look at what we had rehearsed. And as I opened the curtain, I just heard this incredible voice that went ‘Wow! This is the standard of the woman I’m going to marry.’ And I’m like what kind of standard line is that, and I looked him up and down and, I thought it, what rubbish.

“But, he came over to rehearsals and was just such a wonderful person to work with. He realised he had made a faux pas and tried to get in my good graces after that. And we became excellent friends,”

That was the beginning of what has led to 37 years of blissful marriage.

The “dem mama” crooner opined that rather than complain, such men shouldn’t get close to such women if they don’t have money.

In money-making related news (albeit the wrong way), A 45-yearold man, Adewale Adesanya, who swindled Point of Sale (POS) operators and business owners with fake bank alerts in Ibadan, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command.

The suspect, who resides at No 7, Awosika Street, Old Bodija, Ibadan, was nabbed with four bottles of a champagne brand, Dom Perignom, valued at N117,900 each, which he bought with fake alerts.
Adesanya, who confessed to the crime while being paraded before newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Eleyele, said that they bought goods worth millions of naira with fake alerts they generated with an application on their phones.

The suspect said the last transaction he did which exposed him was about N185,000, for which he generated a fake alert for a POS operator in Ibadan. The Daily Trust reports

An Unidentified lady has become an Internet Sensation after she went on both knees as she accepted her man’s proposal to marry her.

How Nollywood actor, Emma Buchi was killed, locked up in Delta apartment – Police

The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the death of Nollywood actor, Prince Abuchi Ikpo, popularly known as Emma Buchi, who was found dead in his apartment in Asaba, Delta State.

It was earlier reported that Ikpo was reportedly murdered in cold blood by his personal assistant, Sunny.

The news of his sad demise was announced on Facebook by his friend, Melody Obia, on Tuesday, July 12.

According to Melody, the decomposing corpse of the actor was found in his apartment recently and it’s alleged that he was killed by his PA who carted away all his belongings. Read here.

Confirming Ikpo’s death, the state police spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, said that the actor was killed in his house and locked up till his body was found.

“The body was found at his apartment near Jesus Save area, Asaba, on Monday. They killed him and locked the dead body inside the house. No much details on this yet”. Edafe said.

Meanwhile, a friend of the deceased actor, Melody Obia, has shared pictures of the actor’s alleged killer and appealed to anyone with useful information about his whereabouts to contact her, the actor’s family or the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

“This is my friend Prince Emma Buchi an Actor He was allegedly murdered by this young boy Sunny who was his PA in Asaba. The boy was seen carrying all his properties even when he was nowhere to be found. Emma was found in his house dead after days while his body was decomposing in a now empty apartment.

“The boy was a meat seller at Bonny Street Umuahia, Abia state. He comes from Amuzukwu. Anyone with any useful information should please contact me or his family or our AGN guild”, she wrote.

A Nigerian man, Above Clinton, is currently filled with joy and excitement after his sister welcomed a set of twins after 15 years of waiting.

Mr. Clinton took to his Facebook page to announce the good news on Tuesday, July 12, while noting that she gave birth to a boy and a girl.

“Welcome to the world little ones. We are delighted to announce the birth of our beautiful twins! Born 12-07-2022, 37 weeks and 2 days. Baby Boy @ 10:35am 6lb 7oz and Baby Girl @ 10:36am 5lb 8oz.
