A video shared online captures the moment a groom found it difficult to say the words after the officiating minister at his wedding asked him to make a vow to always surrender his phone to his wife.
In the trending video, the groom was reciting his wedding vows when the pastor chipped in a new vow about giving his bride access to his phone at all times.
The groom was caught by surprise and couldn’t bring himself to say the words as he is seen stuttering in front his bride, their family and other guests.
The officiating minister then took over and said the vows for him.

Senate chief whip and businessman, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has reacted to the brewing controversy about single-faith ticket after speculations were made that APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a Muslim, might pick a Muslim politician as his Vice.
Speaking on the Muslim-Muslim ticket proposition with newsmen at the National Assembly on Wednesday, June 15, Kalu said Christians shouldn’t be troubled if the All Progressives Congress (APC) makes such move because Tinubu’s wife, Remi Tinubu, is a Pastor.
He was quoted as saying,
“Let me tell you, in my house, my wife is the head of the house in reality. Even you men that are here, now that your wives aren’t here, they are the head. Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, has sparked concern from fans and followers on social media after she cried out about some of the challenges she’s currently facing.
The actress opened up about her battle with mental illness in a video posted to her Instagram page on Wednesday, June 15.
According to her, as a result of the mental issue, she didn’t follow through on a job and she’s being sued.
She persuaded herself that she would be fine and that everything would be fine.
“I have an issue right now and its taking my life, I no go die…everything is going to be fine, I’ll get over it. I was given a job I dint do the job because I had mental issues. Will people understand when you say you have mental issues, they are slamming with a bill, suing me its okay”, she said.

AAC Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore has thrown jabs at his counterpart from Labour Party, Peter Obi, for travelling to Egypt to understudy their systems.
The former governor of Anambra State had taken to Twitter to announce his trip to Egypt to understudy their power, education, planning and finance sector for three days.
He shared photos of himself and his team at the airport and wrote,
“I just departed for Egypt on a 3-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria. In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors.”
However, Sowore who is also vying for the presidential seat under the African Action Congress (AAC) tackled Peter Obi for only just taking the trip 9 months to the presidential election.

Fashion designer allegedly arrested in Lagos over his outfit and accused of being a crossdresser
A fashion designer, Aanuoluwa Ajide-Daniels, has claimed he was arrested by some police officers in Lagos who accused him of being a cross dresser.
Ajide who is known for his high fashion sense on Instagram, said he and his friend were stopped by the officers at Ring road bridge linking Osbourne from 3rd mainland on Monday night, June 13, and taken to Adeniju Police Station for questioning.
He said he maintained his cool and responded to their questions respectfully while maintaining that he is not a crossdresser.
According to him, they were eventually released after paying an undisclosed amount.
The fashion enthusiast shared a photo of the outfit he wore on his Instagram page and wrote,

Sonia said she paid her bill, but subsequently questioned why he had invited her out on a date and then asked her to pay.
Replying, the Nigerian man of Yoruba descent, identified as Gbenga, explained why he made her pay for what she ordered.
Gbenga explained that the meal she ordered was beyond his budget, so he asked her to pay since he couldn’t afford it.

Reality TV star, Maria Chike, has revealed that she sought the services of a local medicine man after medical doctors couldn’t diagnose what was wrong with her leg although she felt excruciating pain in the leg.
The Big Brother Naija star revealed she had recently suffered a leg injury that left her with a broken knee, but the doctor had told her there was no cause for alarm, insisting nothing was wrong with the leg.
She revealed that when the pain persisted and became unbearable, she sought the service of the local doctor, who straightened her broken knee.

On Monday, June 13, Bishop David Oyedepo, speaking at a church service, accused the administration of being unconcerned about the wellbeing of residents, particularly students.

“Many children are out of school. There is nothing to pay to get them to school. We saw some folks in Covenant that we had to help out to graduate. N30,000, first class graduates can’t get the money under this wicked government, selfish, self-centered.
“What a fight against corruption. You were all deceived. You can’t be in corruption and fight corruption — the most corrupt regime in the history of Nigeria.

A Nigerian man has called out singer, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal, and his gang for allegedly assaulting his brother.
The young man simply identified as Folarin on Twitter claimed that Wande Coal and his gang assaulted his brother because his vehicle was in the singer’s way.
Folarin claimed that his brother was summoned to move his vehicle as he was reportedly blocking the singer’s way, and that as he approached the vehicle to move it out of Wande’s way, one of them smacked him. He said another punched him before he could make sense of the situation.

VGC Naked couple were under the influence of drugs – Neighbourhood’s Chairman of the landlords’ association
A strange occurrence was witnessed at the Victoria Garden City area of Lagos state on Sunday night, June 13, as a couple were seen walking around stark naked.
The video went viral on social media and it led to many speculations as netizen’s tried to figure out why the couple took on a rather bizarre adventure.
Chairman of the landlords’ association at the Victoria Garden City neighborhood where a couple was spotted walking around naked, has now given an update on the incident which occurred on Sunday June 12.
In his words;
On Sunday, on our close, at about 11 pm, the Vice-Chairman called my attention to an ugly situation whereby two adults; male and female were seen walking around the estate completely naked.
Our estate security and management personnel accosted them and accompanied them to our close (63) where the duo purportedly resided in a BQ. As the case may be, the situation soon got out of hand when both adults slit their wrists and necks in what seemed to be a suicide attempt, saying they would die and rise again in three days.
Further investigation of their BQ apartments revealed some items such as illegal drugs and other substances. They were obviously under the influence of some substances (drug abuse)
Thank God for the swift response of our management, security and medical team who eventually sedated the victims and took them to the hospital around 12.45am.
The girl is a full American that came in from the US in October to experience the 5th dimension with the guy. They got home and slit their wrists and necks and their door had to be broken down. The hospital said they were both on Colorado, Canadian Loud, aka Mkpuru Mmiri.

Popular Nigerian Singer and music executive, David Adeleke, has been active during the discourse of elections which are to be held by the Independent and National Electoral Commission (INEC) across the country.
Davido took to micro-blogging website to state that the “only way to win election now in Nigeria is to win the votes”.

Singer Tems takes a break from music after being diagnosed with reflux laryngitis
Nigerian singer Tems is going to take a break from music after being diagnosed with reflux laryngitis.
In a post the talented singer made on Instagram, it was disclosed that she has postponed her upcoming shows in line with the doctor’s directive.
Reflux laryngitis is an irritation in the back of the throat due to acid or other chemicals that come up from your stomach. This usually happens at night when you’re asleep. Other terms for this problem include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), acid reflux, and chronic laryngitis.
“It breaks my heart to say this but there’s no other option for me.
I’m not feeling too good at the moment.
After my last performance, I was diagnosed with Reflux laryngtis and I have to take some time off to protect what’s left of my voice.
On the Doctors orders. I have postponed the two shows this week, the Birmingham show on the 15th and the first London show on the 17th.
The new dates for both shows will be announced tomorrow,” her post on Instagram reads.
Teacher arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old female student in Delta state
Men of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a secondary school teacher, Benjamin Job, for allegedly raping a 12-year-old student of the school.
It was gathered that Benjamin was apprehended by the Police on Tuesday, June 14, after the victim reported the incident to her mother.
The incident reportedly took place in a private school in Warri, Delta State, called Gavriela Schools.
A source who gave an account of what transpired said,
“Benjamin is an English teacher in Gavriella school here in Warri. He has been sexually harassing her, touching her boobs and all of that. When we found out, we went to report him to the school authority and they promised to sack him, but apparently, they didn’t.
This morning, her mom started perceiving an offensive smell from her and queried her, after much talking and questions she finally opened up and told her mom what happened.
She said the English teacher dragged her to the toilet from the stairs and forced himself on her. We had to go to the school to deal with him before arresting him, he’s currently in the custody of the police.”

Woman arrested for allegedly brutalizing her nephew over N100
A woman has been reported to the Abuja State Police Command for allegedly brutalizing her little nephew over N100.
A video shared online captures the moment the woman was confronted by some concerned residents who saw the bleeding child.
It was gathered that she sent the little boy on an errand and gave him N100 to buy an undisclosed item, however, he misplaced the said amount.
This aggravated the woman who unleased hell on the little boy and reportedly hit a bottle on his head.
An eyewitness claimed the woman was still threatening the child and ignored his bleeding head and only made attempts to take him to a hospital when she was confronted.
Another witness, who seemed to be acquainted with the woman and her nephew, said she constantly maltreats the little child and subjects him to dehumanizing punishments.

Reacting to a viral video of her on her date with Wizkid that sparked dating speculations between them, Ighodaro said that contrary to what many people may think, Wizkid has never made any moves on her.
She described the father of three as a good guy who was good to her at a point in her life when she needed a friend.
Osas Ighodaro also addressed a report which made rounds last year that she flew from Nigeria to the United Kingdom to attend Wizkid’s concert.
