Nigerian artist, Brenda Uphopho has berated male comedians who dress like women for their comedy skits as she calls for an end to the act.
Brenda took to her Instagram page to lambaste such comedians as she states that they are exploiting the female gender for their personal gain.
She added that the act of crossdressing in comedy shouldn’t be considered as a form of art because the comedians are misrepresenting women.

“How UNILAG frustrated me because my final year project was about sexual harassment” โ Lady
A young Nigerian lady identified as virtuousi on Instagram, has recounted the challenges she faced as an undergraduate in a Nigerian university.
According to the writer, her four years in the university was frustrating and at different times she threatened to drop out. To make matters worse her final year project was almost rejected because it was about sexual harassment and at the time some lecturers of the school were exposed in Kiki Mordi’s sex for grade documentary.
Narrating the experience, the lady who had her graduation ceremony yesterday July 6th, in a lengthy Instagram post wrote,
“Four years in Unilag and there was no day I didnโt threaten to drop out. The moment a lecturer moved to me, I lost total interest in school and hated that school with my entire being. Yes, I got carry overs in his courses for two years plus even though his courses were where my strength lied.
In my final year, I did my final year project on the Me too movement which was centered around sexual harassment, this topic didnโt sit well with some of my lecturers because this was coming after the Sex for grades documentary. When I got to chapter four, my supervisor swore that she didnโt remember approving my topic, I left her office and broke down.
On the day of my defense, the men on my panel were the ones that were most notorious in that field. They finished me.
I was the only one with that topic in the entire department and my work was impeccable as acknowledged by the sub supervisor I was referred to but they didnโt even let me introduce myself before they asked why I picked the topic. My supervisor had to beg them to let me go.
At that point, I just wanted to graduate, I didnโt even care anymore. It finally happened today and Iโm glad I saw this this through for the sake of my late mom and late Roli(third slide). They both started this journey with me but didnโt get to finish it with me.

Pastor and his gang arrested while trying to sell 15.8 million counterfeit Naira notes
A pasto identified as Sebastine Dabu, and his geng have been arrested by operatives of the Niger State police command for trying to sell N15.8m fake notes.
According to reports, the 48-year-old was arrested on June 29, alongside Emmanuel Akazuwa, 42 and Umar Mohammed, 50.
ASP Wasiu Abiodun, the commandโs spokesperson, Emmanuel was arrested in possession of one thousand naira notes to the tune of fifteen million, eight hundred and thirty thousand naira (N15,830,000) suspected to be counterfeit at a Hotel in Kontagora.
During interrogation, Emmanuel confessed to the crime and claimed that he bought the fake currency from one Nifom presently at large at Katsina-Ala in Benue State at the rate of one hundred and fifty thousand naira, while he met Pastor Sabastine at a Cathedral Congress in Makurdi who promised to assist him to sell the currency. They were to meet with a potential customer at the hotel.

Actor Yomi Fabiyi has declared that nobody can ban his controversial movie, Oko Iyabo.
The movie which was recently released on YouTube has since been generating controversy as those who claim to have watched it allege that it based on the ongoing sexual assault case involving colleague Baba Ijesha and comedian Princess.

16-year-old US model, Kara Wrice drowns in a river after drinking with friends
16-year-old popular US model, Kara Wrice has reportedly drowned in a river in Missouri after drinking with her friends.
It was gathered that the teenager from Missouri was planning to move to New York City to continue her budding modeling career before she met her death.
According to reports, Kara died on Friday in the Meramec River in Castlewood State Park.
Kara who wasnโt wearing a life vest when she joined other adults and a friend in the raging water already had a lot to drink with her friend at the park before she drowned.

The controversial couple, who welcomed their son, King Churchill Jnr, in March 2021, are on vacation in Ghana and are having an amazing time together as a family. They also paid a visit to the Elmina Slave Castle.

Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Samuel Animashaun Perry better known as Broda Shaggi has taken to social media to celebrate his mum, Omolara on her birthday.
The comedian’s mum turned a new age today, July 6th and he has taken to his verified Instagram page to shower praises on her.
Sharing beautiful photos of his mum he described her as his forever love who has always supported his dreams with prayers.
In a heartfelt birthday message to her, he wrote,

BBNaija’s Vee shares her side of the story after being dragged by a Fashion brand
BBNaija star, Vee real name Victoria Adeyele, has narrated her side of the story after she was called out by a fashion brand to pay her debt.
The saga started when Vee issued a statement on her Instastory that she’s no longer associated with โZeena & Zaraโ, barely 2 months after she signed an ambassadorial deal with the brand.
In response, the brand dragged Vee for not refunding the full amount she was paid before terminating the contract. They also alleged that Vee has an attitude and treated everyone on set like trash. Read here
Vee, in a recent post, has now shared the full details of what transpired between her and the brand from her angle. She also addressed some of the claims they made against her.
She wrote in part, “I now deal with reputable brands and corporate organizations and it is important that I set the records straight, in the face of people who have nothing to lose and do not mind dragging others down with them.โ
