Nigerian singing sensation, Ric Hassani has revealed one of the things he would never try again while on vacation.
The ‘Thunder fire you’ crooner is currently vacationing in Egypt and has been entertaining his fans and followers with photos and video from the luxury vacation.
Ric Hassani shared a photo of him underwater which was apparently one of the fun things he tried on his trip, but revealed he has now ruled it out and would never try it again.
“Notin go make me do dis tin again sha”, he captioned the photos.
Meanwhile, he also recounted how he held on to his guide out of fear of getting lost in the ocean.
“See as I been de hold this man, I no wan hear say I lost for inside ocean”, he tweeted.
Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing has reacted after the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), vowed to frustrate her out of the industry.
Following her indefinite suspension in May 2021, the leadership of TAMPAN at a news conference in Lagos on Sunday, June 27th directed producers and directors to stop working with Nkechi Blessing and vowed to “work against her in the movie industry.”
Prince Jide Kosoko while addressing the newsmen said,
“Unfortunately, Nkechi Blessing has also joined in the Ignoble tirades against the Association and by extension, the industry and we say enough is enough! If you think you’re above the law [of TAMPAN], we can get you out in our way. You can quote me. Nkechi Blessing has been suspended — because she’s not our member. But we will work against her in this industry”.
The actress who has now taken to social media to react to the decision of the association against her wrote,
“For as many that sits and hit their chest that they will frustrate me.. God will disgrace their entire generation publicly…only if I do not serve God”.
The bereaved family of slain Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga has urged the police to do an in-depth investigation to unravel the misery behind his death.
The family of the deceased stated that the police should go beyond arresting the self-confessed suspect, Chidinma insisting that there’s more to the case than meets the eye.
In a statement titled “Libelous publications in respect of murder of Michael Usifo Ataga: Demand for restraint by social media practitioners/persons”, Rickey Tarfa & Co, solicitor to the family warned those behind malicious social media publications to refrain from publishing false stories that negatively affects the integrity of the deceased, wife and children or face lawsuits.
The statement which was signed by Olusegun Jolaawo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), on behalf of the law firm, urged Nigerians to allow the police to conduct its investigations without any distraction or interference.
The statement reads,
“We, hereby, admonish the publishers of these stories to employ whatever shreds of decency and decorum they can find in themselves to desist from their false and misleading stories and let the investigating authorities carry out effective investigation in the hope of apprehending the perpetrators of this heinous crime and their accomplices.
“Yes, we know that Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu has been arrested and, yes, we know that investigation is continuing. Our client is, however, convinced that there is much more to this than is already apparent from the police investigation.”
The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has vowed to “work against” Nkechi Blessing while asking its members to desist from engaging with Iyabo Ojo.
Veteran Actor, Prince Jide Kosoko, at a news conference in Lagos said the association has blacklisted Iyabo Ojo and banned directors under its guild to desist from engaging her services as an actress.
According to PM News, he said, “The attention of the Board of Trustees of TAMPAN and Elders of the Motion Picture Industry, especially of the Yoruba sector, have been drawn to the malicious damages being done to our sector by some unruly individuals that lack any iota of discipline and seeming to feel to be above the law.
We particularly observe the continuous derogatory statements made by Iyabo Ojo against the Association and the industry as a whole. Please note that we are not against her stand on the issue of alleged r*pe or sexual assault as the case maybe, which the Association and individuals have equally condemned at one time or the other, as we believe only a person without conscience will support r*pe or sexual assault in any form. However, Iyabo Ojo’s reckless accusations, abuses and embarrassment of our sector is also totally condemned.
Unfortunately, Nkechi Blessing has also joined in the Ignoble tirades against the Association and by extension, the industry and we say enough is enough! If you think you’re above the law [of TAMPAN], we can get you out in our way. You can quote me. Nkechi Blessing has been suspended — because she’s not our member. But we will work against her in this industry.
As TAMPAN BoT members and elders of the industry in the Yoruba genre, we dare say to both Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing and others of their likes, that if you people think whatever visibility you have achieved today is not through the Yoruba sector of the Nigerian motion picture industry, you should, at least realise that the industry gave you the enabling environment for whatever you may have become today.”
Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has revealed he has decided to make peace with his colleague, Iyabo Ojo and let sleeping dogs lie.
Recall that the thespians recently dragged each other to filth over Baba Ijesha’s alleged child molestation saga. While Yomi Fabiyi publicly defended the suspect, Iyabo Ojo berated him insisting that the young victim must get justice.
The face-off got messier when Yomi alleged that Iyabo Ojo and the victim’s foster mother, comedienne, Princess, vowed to kill actor, Baba Ijesha, if he is ever released on bail. In return Iyabo sued him for defamation and sought N100m in damages.
Well, Yomi has now taken to Instagram to note that he is still in shock over how things turned out between them. According to him, he has decided to let of go of all hurt and forgive his colleague, Iyabo Ojo who he claims used to be a nice person.

21-year-old UNILAG student, Chidinma Ojukwu who allegedly murdered Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga has opened up on how they met.
The suspect in an interview with Daily Trust, revealed she met the deceased at a wild party in Lagos.
According to her, financial pressure occasioned by the outbreak of COVID-19 made her hook up with some female students who took her to wild parties which usually had “big boys in town” in attendance, and in one of those gatherings she met the late billionaire.
Recounting how they met, she said,
“It first sounded like fun when I went out for the first time along other girls. My friend who took me out told me we were going to attend a party organised by one of the latest big boys in town.
On arrival, it was fun-filled. We had so much to drink. At first, it was shisha that we were smoking. I took a few drags on the pipe and blew the smoke out immediately. Other girls were busy blowing out smoke from their noses and mouths.
The party ended in the wee hours of the night and we ended up in bed with some guys. The guy I slept with gave me N50,000 and I felt like break-dancing.
It was at one of those parties that I met Ataga. He picked interest in me because of the course I am reading. We dated for about six months before I started noticing his strange behaviour.
He gave me roofies (a street name for Rohypnol) before sex. I never meant to kill him. I was not in the mood but he wanted sex. I told him so and we had roofies, after which he was all over me. He forced his way into me, even though it was not the first time we had sex
I felt he was using me to satisfy his sex urge as he never fulfilled all he promised to do for me”.

SuperTV CEO, Michael Ataga’s confessed killer, Chidinma Ojukwu, has advised young girls to face their education and try to live a good and modest life so that they don’t end up with the wrong crowd like she did.
According to media publication, The Sun, Chidinma was sober and she deeply regrets her action. She says if she could go back in time to correct the dastardly mistake, she would.
Chidinma revealed that her dad is an accountant while her mom is a trader. Her parents are not together, they have been separated for a long time.

“I regret killing Mr Ataga. I don’t know what my future holds but I don’t want to die. Please, I don’t want to die because of this case. I have not killed before.
“I was just trying to comport myself to answer questions during the parade and not that I am not showing remorse. I totally regretted everything I did and I am sorry. Mr Ataga’s family, I am deeply sorry for what I did. If I had my life back, I wouldn’t do anything like that. I am deeply sorry and I hope you forgive me.”

According to a video posted on the church’s YouTube, the Pastor said the reason why the cobra did not attack him was because of his love for God.

Tonto Dikeh was previously married to businessman and philanthropist, Olakunle Churchill, who has since moved on with actress Rosy Meurer.
Chidinma Ojukwu who spoke to The Punch recently, has tendered a remorseful apology to the family of Super TV CEO, Usifo Ataga after his gruesome murder.
Chidinma who was teary said, “I regret killing Mr Ataga. I don’t know what my future holds but I don’t want to die. Please, I don’t want to die because of this case. I have not killed before.
“I was just trying to comport myself to answer questions during the parade and not that I am not showing remorse. I totally regretted everything I did and I am sorry. Mr Ataga’s family, I am deeply sorry for what I did. If I had my life back, I wouldn’t do anything like that. I am deeply sorry and I hope you forgive me.”
Chidinma and the late Ataga had reportedly lodged in a service apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State, where the incident allegedly took place.
After Ataga’s corpse was discovered, the police said they went after Chidinma and tracked her down to her father’s residence in Alagomeji, Yaba after Atatga’s demise.

A Nigerian lady has narrated on Facebook, that this won’t be the first time that embattled 21-year-old UNILAG undergraduate, Chidinma Adaora, would be committing a crime.
The lady, identified as Tamara on Facebook, alleges that Chidinma has been in the business of blackmailing businessmen for years now but only met her waterloo recently following the death of Super TV CEO, Usifo Ataga.
Tamara, in her narrative, disclosed how she was involved in a case of blackmail involving Chidinman some years ago, where the latter was nabbed by policemen but was only freed when she returned the money she’d conned a married man of.

Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson’s first daughter, Purity has in a rather funny video, given one of the reasons why she doubts if her movie star mother is her true mother.
In a video capturing a family moment which was shared online, Purity gave her reason why she likes her dad more than she does her mother. According to her, it’s because her mother beats her at any slightest provocation while her father does not beat her.
Purity then said that she travels to Heaven and comes back anytime the actress beats her.
