Former presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri has rebuked those mocking the death of popular clergyman, T.B Joshua.

The founder of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Temitope Balogun Joshua died on Saturday night, June 5th and ever since the news has stirred reactions across the world. While many individuals mourn his death some others especially fellow pastors have come out to criticize the life of the preacher.

Addressing T.B Joshua’s critics, Reno stated that it’s ‘unChristlike’ to judge people after their death when they cannot defend themselves.

In his words,

“Whilst he lived, I never said anything about him. Neither good nor bad. Not because I did not like him, but because I do not know where his powers came from. So, rather than say what I do not know, I kept mute. But now that he is dead, let him be. It is unChristlike to celebrate death or mock the departed. But beyond being unChristlike, it is also ungentlemanly to wait until someone is dead before you attack him.

If you must attack, do so while he yet lives, that he may have a chance to defend himself. Scripture asks us to “rejoice with those who rejoice, mourn with those who mourn”-Romans 12:15.

Hebrews 9:27 says “each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment.” Now that he has died and is facing judgment, stop usurping God’s place. Either keep quiet, or mourn him. Do not judge him.”

Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph instructed her husband to ensure that he grabs and squeezes her back side in the caption of an Instagram post she made recently, celebrating four years of being together.

The curvaceous actress shared a rather explicit video of herself and her husband as they grooved together at an event — in the video, her husband is seen placing his hands on her protruded backside and grabbing it with much vigour as they danced together.

Sharing the video in honour of being together for four years, the actress wrote,

In another post prior, still celebrating her anniversary, the actress expressed gratitude to God for giving her the “best husband on earth”. According to her, she is thankful that she didn’t listen to people who said they wouldn’t work as a couple.

Prophet Odumeje shades a ‘certain’ pastor who “preaches like homosexuals” (video)

Controversial Nigerian prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere otherwise known as Odumeje, has thrown an open shade at a certain pastor who he claims behaves like “homosexuals” while preaching.

In a video now serving rounds on social media the Imo state born prophet is seen mimicking the “certain man of God” as he addresses his congregation.

Odumeje who in his sermon compared his style of preaching to the man in question said, “I don’t come for church business and begin to do like homosexual…”

The clergy man has been under fire since a video of him holding and lifting the blessed sacrament in a church found it’s way to the internet.

1,833 teenage girls impregnated within 90 days in one Ugandan district

Over one thousand teenage girls have been reportedly impregnated within the last three months in Tororo district, Uganda.

According to Daily Monitor UG, the Tororo district experienced a sudden rise in teenage pregnancy in ninety days, hence threatening to cut short- the pursuit for education amongst girls of school going age.

A data presented by the district bio-statician, Mr Ali Mugerwa, gave the number of pregnant girls in the district within the last three month as 1,833. The girls are reportedly between the ages of 10-19 years.

Mugerwa speaking at the district stakeholder’s dialogue held June 4th by the National Association of Women Organisation of Uganda, where he presented the data said,

“The highlighted cases of teenage pregnancy are much less than the actual number because these are just those who managed to go for antenatal services yet a big number fear to go for antenatal services thinking that they will be laughed at”.

According to him, involving cases of defilement by close family members- was extracted from the district health management information system sourced from public health facilities.

“All the people who impregnated these innocent children need to be arraigned before court but it’s becoming a challenge as some of the parents connive with the suspects,” he said.

Speaking further, he blamed both parents and the ineffective justice system. He attributed the prevailing crisis majorly to the failure of parents to play their roles well.

Meanwhile, Ms Pauline Nabwire, the program’s officer at National Association of Women Organization of Uganda, says the sudden rise in teenage pregnancy in the district is as a result of poor parenting coupled with greed for dowry, poverty, peer pressure and values reinforced by tradition.

Yesterday, June 8, Nigerian music fans were shocked to see a trending video of Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay having a heated verbal altercation.

Tiwa accused Seyi of having a “dirty and disgusting” spirit and she warned Seyi to stay clear off her path.

Fans could not quite place the origin of the beef but there was a theory it dated back to when Seyi recorded a diss verse aimed at Tiwa.

Seyi Shay has now given some form of closure as she shared her own side of the story.

According to Seyi, she could already feel the tension as she walked in and saw Tiwa Savage at the salon.

In her bid to make peace, she decided to go say “hi” to Tiwa, and she responded well. Seyi Shay was then shocked when Tiwa came to meet her some 20 minutes later and told her never to greet her in public anymore.

The Nigerian Idols’ judge revealed that she realized it could be about the #FvckYouChallenge verse she recorded in April 2019 but confirmed that they have met each other more than twice since her #FvckYouChallenge and they exchanged pleasantries on all occasions.

“We’ve even entered private jet together, we’ve taken pictures together,” Shay said.

Trump praises Buhari for suspending Twitter, says more countries should ban the platform.

Erstwhile President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has showed support for the Nigerian government for suspending micro-blogging website, Twitter, in the country.

He said in a statement ;
“Congratulations to the country of Nigeria, who just banned Twitter because they banned their President. More COUNTRIES should ban Twitter and Facebook for not allowing free and open speech – all voices should be heard.”

Trump also encouraged other countries to follow in Nigeria’s footsteps and ban Twitter and Facebook before stating that he should have banned Twitter and Facebook when he was in the White House, but claimed he was discouraged by Mark Zuckerberg.

“In the meantime, competitors will emerge and take hold. Who are they to dictate good and evil if they themselves are evil? Perhaps I should have done it while I was President,” Trump added. “But Zuckerberg kept calling me and coming to the White House for dinner telling me how great I was. 2024?”

Pastor TB Joshua’s elder brother, Mr Abimbola Balogun, is still in disbelief about the clergyman’s death as he recounts his last encounter with him.

Speaking with a correspondent of PUNCH on Monday, June 7, Mr Balogun said the last time he saw his brother was eight months ago. He said the late pastor advised him to always show love to people around him.

Nigerian man builds free school to educate less privileged kids

A Nigerian man has warmed the hearts of many with his outstanding gesture towards less privileged kids in his neighbourhood.

The man identified as Olusegun Adeniyi built a school and offered free education to the children who lives in a slum around him.

According to Tope Fasua, a former presidential aspirant, who made this disclosure on Facebook, Adeniyi, a Nigerian journalist noticed that the children were not attending schools so he decided to build one beside his house in Abuja.

Fasua who shared photos of the school which he says currently has about 70 students, wrote,

“Each one, give a little. This is the school started by a journalist, Mr Segun Adeniyi, near his house in Abuja. He noticed that there were so many children around living in the shanties around, who do not attend schools, so he put up a small shack on one of the lands nearby.

The shack is growing. The children could be as many as 70 now. They all attend school for free. I was touched. His wife takes time from her insurance job to supervise and teach them. I believe we still have much space for rapprochement if we continue to give. We can triumph.”

A woman has broken the Guinness World Record after giving birth to 10 babies.

Gosiame Thamara Sithole, 37, gave birth to her decuplets – two more than doctors had earlier detected during the medical scans – at a hospital in Pretoria last night, said her husband Teboho Tsotetsi.

The previous record was held by Malian Halima Cissé who gave birth to nine children in Morocco last month.

He said Sithole, who hails from Tembisa Township in Ekurhuleni, delivered her seven boys and three girls by Caesarean section.

Sithole, who has six-year-old twins, previously told the Pretoria News that her pregnancy was natural as she was not on fertility treatment.

UPDATED FROM LeadStories.com: On June 15, 2021 the Tsotetsi family issued a public statement which said the family has concluded that there are no decuplets born between Tebogo Tsotetsi and Gosiame Sithole.

The complete statement is reproduced in a tweet by Piet Rampedi, the journalist who originally broke the ‘exclusive’ story about the record breaking birth of ten babies on June 8, 2021.

Rampedi also posted video interviews with Sithole from an undisclosed location. Rampedi’s captions translate her words and convey that she responded to the Tsotetsi family statement by denying that she is missing and insisting she delivered ten babies at Steve Biko Academic Hospital. Still there are no publicly released photos of the babies or any hospital confirmation that this took place at their facility.

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron was slapped in the face during a crowd walkabout session in Southeastern France.

The embarrassing incident happened today, June 8, and the video has since gone viral.

In the video making rounds on social media, President Macron could be seen walking towards a crowd of well-wishers who were standing behind a barrier.

The President stretched out his hand to shake a man in a green T-Shirt, with glasses and a face mask. However, his gesture was met with a resounding slap.

Macron’s security detail quickly intervened and pushed the man to the ground, while the president moved away from the scene.

According to reports, two men have been arrested in relation to the incident.

Seun also noted that it’s wrong to consider Nigerian artiste who are nominated as a result of featuring in a song with an international artiste, Grammy nominees.

Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph have taken to social media to celebrate four years of knowing her husband, Mr Olagunju a.k.a MC Fish.

The actress expressed gratitude to God for giving her the “best husband on earth”. According to her, she is thankful that she didn’t listen to people who said they wouldn’t work as a couple.
