Pastor TB Joshua’s elder brother, Mr Abimbola Balogun, is still in disbelief about the clergyman’s death as he recounts his last encounter with him.
Speaking with a correspondent of PUNCH on Monday, June 7, Mr Balogun said the last time he saw his brother was eight months ago. He said the late pastor advised him to always show love to people around him.
Still shattered by the news of his younger brother’s demise, Mr Balogun said he will be greatly missed because he was the breadwinner of their family.
He said,
“I SAW MY BROTHER LAST, EIGHT MONTHS AGO; AND DURING THAT ENCOUNTER, HE ADVISED ME TO LOVE THE PEOPLE AROUND ME AND THAT I SHOULD AVOID TOO MUCH LOVE FOR MONEY.
“WE WILL MISS HIM BECAUSE HE WAS OUR BREADWINNER; THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY WILL MISS HIM.”
A Nigerian man has warmed the hearts of many with his outstanding gesture towards less privileged kids in his neighbourhood.
The man identified as Olusegun Adeniyi built a school and offered free education to the children who lives in a slum around him.
According to Tope Fasua, a former presidential aspirant, who made this disclosure on Facebook, Adeniyi, a Nigerian journalist noticed that the children were not attending schools so he decided to build one beside his house in Abuja.
Fasua who shared photos of the school which he says currently has about 70 students, wrote,
“Each one, give a little. This is the school started by a journalist, Mr Segun Adeniyi, near his house in Abuja. He noticed that there were so many children around living in the shanties around, who do not attend schools, so he put up a small shack on one of the lands nearby.
The shack is growing. The children could be as many as 70 now. They all attend school for free. I was touched. His wife takes time from her insurance job to supervise and teach them. I believe we still have much space for rapprochement if we continue to give. We can triumph.”
A woman has broken the Guinness World Record after giving birth to 10 babies.
Gosiame Thamara Sithole, 37, gave birth to her decuplets – two more than doctors had earlier detected during the medical scans – at a hospital in Pretoria last night, said her husband Teboho Tsotetsi.
The previous record was held by Malian Halima Cissé who gave birth to nine children in Morocco last month.
He said Sithole, who hails from Tembisa Township in Ekurhuleni, delivered her seven boys and three girls by Caesarean section.
Sithole, who has six-year-old twins, previously told the Pretoria News that her pregnancy was natural as she was not on fertility treatment.

The President of France, Emmanuel Macron was slapped in the face during a crowd walkabout session in Southeastern France.
The embarrassing incident happened today, June 8, and the video has since gone viral.
In the video making rounds on social media, President Macron could be seen walking towards a crowd of well-wishers who were standing behind a barrier.
The President stretched out his hand to shake a man in a green T-Shirt, with glasses and a face mask. However, his gesture was met with a resounding slap.

A Ugandan cleric identified as Pastor Jackson Senyonga of Christian Life Church Kampala, has celebrate the death of Prophet TB Joshua.
The Ugandan Pastor accused the late TB Joshua of being a fake prophet and he said his death means victory. He also claimed that the Nigerian Pastor initiated some Pastors in his country into “witchcraft” because he is the biggest “witch” in Africa.

According to the BBC “Nigeria’s influential pastor TB Joshua, who has died aged 57, was considered a pariah among the country’s mega-televangelists and struggled until his death to be accepted within their circles, despite amassing millions of followers across Africa.”
“Ostracised by both the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) he was described as an “impostor” who belonged to a group of “occults” that had infiltrated Christianity.”
A patient reportedly absconded from the hospital where he was receiving treatment to “save” his sister-in-law who was adducted by unknown men.
It was gathered that the man was admitted at the Plateau Hospital Farm House when he received a call from the kidnappers who kidnaped his sister, requesting for ransom.
According to the man, the kidnappers requested 10Million Naira but he pleaded with them that he was on admission in the hospital and begged them to collect N400,000 which they eventually agreed.
He stated that to save his sister-in-law he had to leave the hospital immediately without the doctor’s permission. The kidnapers collected the money from him and released his sister-in-law, a University of Jos student, to him unharmed.

“While I was on drip, I received several calls from kidnappers that they kidnapped my wife’s sister around 4am of Sunday,6th June 2021 along Bauchi road in their house where students stay, she is from Jigawa and she just came back in time to resume the University of Jos,The Kidnappers were five in Number, they demanded 10 million ransom and I pleaded that I am on admission at the hospital, after long bargain, we agreed at four hundred thousand naira ransome 400,000,00 and they told me to bring the money along naraguta hostel to tilden Fulani -bauchi road, some rocks that look like cave, they said I should bring 6 loaves of bread 4 lacasera and 2 yoghurt along as they have been in the Bush with no food since the time of the kidnap in the morning.
When I got there ,three of them came out of hiding to collect the money and they are all young boys that speak fulfude, they are younger than me as they can’t be more that 20- 25 years of age, they said hope I didn’t put poison on the bread and they collected the money before bringing my in-law out from the rocks, thank God they didn’t even touch her as they returned her phones”.

According to the clergy man, it’s impossible for an unrepentant sinner to go to hell because Jesus Christ died to pay for the sins of men.
Speaking during a church service the preacher emphasized that Jesus’ death was not an accident, but he died intentionally to pay for the sins of men so that sin cannot claim those that have faith in Christ.
