Nigerian footballer, Aaron Samuel and wife, Chinwe, have reportedly gone their separate ways over alleged infidelity.

According to reports, the couple’s marriage have been strained for months after Chinwe discovered that her husband was cheating on her with a popular Nigerian celebrity.

A source said,

“She deleted all pictures of both of them together and edited her bio after she caught him cheating on her with a celebrity. Aaron on the other hand, deleted his Instagram page and has moved out of their home and gone to seek solace with his colleague.”

Chinwe, whose Instagram bio used to read, “Wife, mummy & chic”, has now changed it to “A full chic”. She has also reportedly moved out of their home and is currently squatting with her friend in Ajah, Lagos.

A man, identified as Ki Galang Pamungkas, who went viral after he sprayed insecticide into his mouth has died.

The guru, who is from Bali, Indonesia, reportedly died from a heart attack and it was said his death is unrelated to the insecticide stunt he pulled.

Following news of his death, concerned fans opined that he died as a result of digesting the toxic chemicals in the insecticide.

However, Ki Galang’s brother, I Nyoman Saputra, have debunked their claims.

Saputra told local media outlets: “As his brother, I am dismissing [rumors] that Ki Galang died because of insecticide. He died because of a heart attack.

“He died on May 2, 2021 at 6:15 a.m.”

He added that Ki Galang died at a local hospital in Jimbaran, Bali, and insisted that the medical reports proves that he died from a heart attack.

Kilang was a spiritual guru in Bali and he became an internet sensation when the video of him spraying insecticide into his mouth went viral.

A Twitter user has taken to the platform to narrate how a woman turned down a job offer because her husband doesn’t want her to have a higher academic degree than him.

According to the Twitter user identified as Dr Brown, she offered the woman a job but included in her offer letter that she must get an MBA while working with her company.

However, the said woman later got back to the employer, rejecting the offer because her husband said it would be bad for their marriage if she gets her MBA before him.

Narrating her encounter with the woman, Dr brown tweeted,

“There was a lady who I wanted to come and work with us. But she didn’t have an MBA. So included it in her offer letter.

She turned the offer down because her husband said that it would be bad for their marriage if she got a masters before him.

Maybe this has something to do with the reason why people insist on calling my hubby Dr Brown even though he isn’t a Dr. I am Dr Brown. And that’s perfectly ok. I also got my masters before him. He really doesn’t give a hoot about such things. Supports me through everything”.

14 passengers burnt to death in accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway

Not less that 14 passengers lost their lives in the ghastly accident that happened along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, on Thursday, May 6th.

It was learnt that the accident, which occurred on Thursday night, May 6th, involved a silver Toyota RAV 4 with registration number, LND 13 GS; a silver Toyota Camry marked, GGE 369 GJ and a Mazda bus with unidentified number.

According to a report by Dailytrust, a commercial bus said to have wrongly overtaken a vehicle had reportedly hit a stationed faulty vehicle, Toyota Rav 4 parked in the middle of the road.

The bus was said to have lost control and somersaulted several times before bursting into flames. The Spokesman of Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the accident on Friday morning, May 7th.

Akinbiyi said 14 passengers including three children were confirmed burnt to death in the ghastly accident.

“In all, 17 passengers were in the bus when the crash happened, with three seriously injured, and 14 burnt beyond recognition, among which are three kids,” he said.

In the video, the grieving widow was spotted with the live snake curled around her neck before she laid it on her late husband’s body inside the coffin.

A voice in the background could be heard explaining why she did the ritual. According to the person, the snake bit the tongue of the deceased which led to his death, so his wife decided to bury him with his killer.

A Ghanaian woman identified as Florence, is currently battling for her life after her husband reportedly bathed her with a substance suspected to be acid.

Although details of the incident are still sketchy, a report posted by Crime Check TV Ghana on Friday, May 7th, revealed the woman had moved to her father’s house after her husband threw her out.

He later went to meet his father-in-law under the pretense of pleading for forgiveness but sneaked into the bathroom where his estranged wife was bathing and poured acid on her.

In a Facebook post, Crime Check TV Ghana wrote,

“You made it clear you don’t love her. You throw her out. She moves to her daddy’s house. You go to the daddy to beg for forgiveness only to enter into the bathroom where your wife is bathing to pour acid on her. Thank God the police has swiftly arrested him. This is so inhuman”.

Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has spoken about her first and only heartbreak.

The 28-year-old Nigerian disc jockey and singer revealed she had her first heartbreak was when she was 18 and a freshman at the university.

DJ Cuppy who made this revelation in an interview with UK-based show, Presenting, noted that her first heartbreak at age 18 has been the only one she has experienced since then.

Speaking on what she learnt from the experience the Gelato crooner said she learnt never to depend on someone else for her happiness.

A viral video captures the moment a young lady was saved from committing suicide on a pedestrian bridge in Kropotkin, Russia.

In the video, the lady could be seen clinging to the handrail while waiting for the passersby to walk past her. As soon as the group walked by, she made to start climbing the bridge and swung her right leg over the top of the barrier.

Fortunately, one of the men looked back and swiftly rushed to grab her other leg. The others also joined in to rescue her and pull her to safety.

In other news, a 15-year-old South African girl, Lufuno Mavhungu Tshirenzheni, allegedly committed suicide after she was bullied by her classmates in the school premises.

According to the Limpopo provincial police, the young girl from the Thulamela Municipality, Limpopo, allegedly committed suicide by overdosing on pills on Monday, April 12th.

Videos that surfaced online, following the incident, showed the moment the grade 10 student from Mbilwi Secondary School in the Vhembe East education district, was confronted by two other girls, said to be her classmates.

In the video, one of them signals the other to move while she got closer to the victim to slap her countless times. The victim grabs the pupil who was assaulting her in an attempt to block the blows.

Other students can be heard in the background cheering the alleged perpetrator, who is also in grade 10.

Limpopo Education spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene confirmed the incident on Tuesday, April 13th.

Nollywood actress and television host, Linda Osifo has revealed she considered bleaching her skin while growing up.

The dark skin model who made this revelation in an exclusive interview with TVC, stated that she grew up in Canada, where she experienced some racial stigma majorly because of her skin colour.

According to her, she considered bleaching her skin because in Canada, she was discriminated against, not just for being black but for being dark-skinned.

She revealed she had almost started the bleaching process until she moved to Nigeria and saw other dark skinned people like her, who proudly rocked their complexion.

”Well, it’s been almost eight years coming and I think time is what helps. You know, time is what creates experience, though it wasn’t easy at first and of course I wanted to go back, but thanks to patience and consistency. Moving from a country with stability and electricity wasn’t easy at all, but in 2015 I said to myself, “Be yourself, it will help you” and that’s what makes you stand out when you are yourself because there is no one else who is like you.

”You see, with this topic that you mentioned it’s so controversial and I absolutely love it. I’ve been through a rollercoaster with it. When I first started, of course living in Canada the system is quite different, I felt the racial effect. I felt it so drastically because I wasn’t just black, I was darker completion of that black and I had a lot of stigmas.”

“I was discriminated as a young girl, I had tried to bleach at one time. I tried to use a lighter cream but when I came to Nigeria, I started seeing more people like myself, more people who looked like me, who are just like me and I started appreciating myself, in fact, I’ve been looking for a way to get darker because I want to be that typical African woman.”

It can be recalled that Baba Ijesha was arrested for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of comedian, Princess. However, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the rape allegation.

In a recent interview with City People, Yomi Fabiyi spilled what Ijesha told him during his visit.

“I went there. I created time and I sought audience to speak with him. They told him. It’s not like we are close. He doesn’t know where I live. I don’t know where he lives. He hasn’t been in my movie before, for close to 18 years that I have been producing. But I must respect the fact that he is a colleague. We have acted together. We have met abroad together. He cared for me and I cared for him. We are one family no matter what anybody says.

I saw him and I was like I want you to tell me in all honesty, did you rape the young girl? because I was having images in my head and I don’t want to believe he is the one.

He told me that Yomi, there was never a time I raped this lady and this lady never said I raped her. Go and ask her. I said the police said you confessed to the crime. What is in the video they are talking about and what crime did you confess to?

He said ‘Yomi, they showed me a CCTV after they bundled me. They came in, started beating me, they started torturing me. Then they showed me CCTV touching the girl”

Yomi also revealed that when he asked Baba Ijesha about what his relationship with Princess was like before the rape allegation, he said they became closer after her marriage crashed.

“I asked him and he said Yomi, I had marital problem the same time she had her own and we became closer. She helped me with admission.

I asked him ‘were you guys having sexual relationship?..He said Yomi we became close.

A police officer was there. I said no problem, that is not my concern because of the way he answered. Whether it has a link with what you are going through, if it is necessary, you will tell the court”

Yomi also claimed that Ijesha told him the 14-year-old girl allegedly confessed that she was raped by someone close to Princess, but not Baba Ijesha.

According to him, Baba Ijesha said;

“Another interesting part is the girl actually confessed to being sexed , not by Baba Ijesha but by someone who is actually closely related to Princess, who is in police custody. Nobody is talking about it.

Quote me! Except the police will lie, that somebody has been arrested because the girl confessed that Baba Ijesha did not sleep with me and that the person that has been exploiting me sexually lives on my street and they are in Panti.

So which justice system will look into the whole scenario and will now be focusing on one.”

“I am 1000% gay” – Actor, Uche Maduagwu makes dramatic u-turn on his sexuality

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has again taken to social media to reveal he’s gay barely a month after denouncing his sexuality as a gay man.

Recall that in January, Uche via his Instagram page announced he is gay and proud of his sexuality and three months after, he came out again to announce he isn’t gay.

In April, he denounced his sexuality as a gay and claimed he was only using his celebrity status to fight for the rights of LGBT in Nigeria.

However, weeks after the controversial gay actor in a post shared on his official Instagram page moment ago made a dramatic u-turn and again claimed he’s a proud member of the LGBT community.

Speaking about why he denounced his sexuality in April, he claimed he was arrested along lekki axis by armed security men, and was forced to deny being gay.

In his words,

“Last month i was arrested along lekki axis by armed security men i wont disclose the particular agency but they came from #abuja i was beaten for hours and told to deny being #gay on social media or they will come back to do worse i cant say more for now because of security reasons”.

The young Ivorian lady who tattooed Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has called him out for allegedly assaulting her.

Recall that in February 2021, the lady identified as Kyme Oye, claimed she was a big fan of the controversial socialite and inked a tattoo of Bobrisky’s full name and nick on her arm.

In reaction to this, the crossdresser promised her the sum of 1 million naira, first class ticket and visa to Nigeria for a visit, and a trip to Dubai with Anumba Gift.

In a new development, the lady who has reportedly been in Bobrisky’s house for the past three months alleged that the crossdresser physically assaulted her.

Taking to her Instagram page, she wrote,

“Am done have been hiding for so long now am showing your real face to the world wicked human being that lier have been with for 3month supporting you in your lie trying to accept you the way you are wicked man lier!# sorry for my English am an Ivoirian #”

Sharing a video of her battered face while narrating what transpired the lady wrote,

“I don’t want to talk about it but I can’t hide it anymore last week Sunday this is what Sobrisky did to me because I forgot to call the hair stylist to come and loose his hair i was trying to explain that I called him but the day I called him he didn’t come so the next day evening he called me because I forgot to tell him he he hit me with a speaker on the face and slap me when I wanted to explain myself, and ask me to pick my stuff and leave his house.

Where should I go me that I dont know Nigeria so I call my mom on video call when she say me crying with blood on my she asked me to come back to Ivory Coast ! No mother we see this and we be happy have been facing a lot with him but I was still holding on because I dont want to leave his house with Quarrel or fight but here is the real reason why I came back to my country is better am happy with family than crying in a big house because of fame.! I gain anything lying to you guys but you can still think what you want.!”

Pastor Adeboye hosts holy ghost communion service following son’s death (video)

The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor EA Adeboye, has made his first public appearance following the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

The clergy man who lost his 42-year-old son on Tuesday, May 4th hosted the May edition of the monthly holy ghost communion service.

The bereaved father regardless of the incident preached the word of God at the holy ghost communion service.

He spoke on the importance of the bread and wine of the holy communion but kept mute on the passing of his son.

However the officiating pastor gave an hint after the sermon. According to him, the man of God who joined the program from the studio of the church’s station, DOVE Media, couldn’t join physically due to circumstances beyond his control.

He said,

“Tonight, daddy has prayed for us. He has also prayed on all the elements that we are going to use… He could have been here physically as he used to but due to circumstances beyond control, he was not able to be here but to the Glory of God, he has said to us, Jesus is here and he is also there praying for us.”
