Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has said the President Buhari-led administration poverty alleviation programs which are targeted at creating jobs for the youths remain the best in the history of the country.

Mohammed made the remark in Kaduna at a meeting of the Northern Governors Forum with traditional rulers on the aftermath of the #EndSARS protest on Monday, November 2.

In a presentation at the meeting, the minister said the Buhari administration has remained committed to creating jobs for the teeming youths and alleviating poverty.

IN his words ;

“”No government in the history of this country has ever methodically and seriously put in place measures aimed at addressing poverty alleviation and creating jobs for youths like this Administration”

It is the prayer of every mother to enjoy their children while still alive, and for this unnamed woman, her prayers have been answered.

The woman celebrated her 65th birthday yesterday, November 2, and her last daughter organized a surprise package to mark her new age.

In the video shared online, the unidentified lady went to her mother’s garri shop in the popular “new market” in Port Harcourt with the surprise team.

The lady, who went all out to make her mother’s day special within her budget, surprised her mum with a cake, food basket and a trumpeter played beautiful tunes.

The mother was all smiles as she reveled in the beautiful moment.

A makeup artist identified as Elvina Japheth Abilo, has tragically lost her life after a jealous lover set a home ablaze in Bayelsa State.

The incident happened on Saturday, October 31, about 3 am, when the suspect, a 40-year-old man identified as Etifa Obukulubu, set fire to the home of his ex-girlfriend after she ended their relationship.

According to reports, the exit door out of the house was jammed from outside when the incident occurred.

Obukulu reportedly targeted his ex-lover identified as Wilberforce, but unknown to him, she wasn’t home and it was just a Pastor and his assistant, Elvina.

According to residents of Igbogene community the suspect, who is a commercial driver, had waited for all three but didn’t notice when Wilberforce left her house for her friend’s house where she was to pass the night.

“He waited for them to enter the house. And use fuel to set fire around the house. But he did not know that his girlfriend had left to go and sleep with another friend.”

Late Elvina’s cousin, Joyce Abilo said the suspect’s former girlfriend ended their relationship because her parents are not in support of it.

Joyce said ;

“He felt that Pastor Henry is encouraging the girlfriend to leave him. They are related by blood so the parents are not in support of it. My sister is a friend to the targeted girl.”

The Spokesman to the Bayelsa Police Command, Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, friends of the deceased have taken to social media to mourn the sad loss.

A Nigerian Doctor, Dr Olufunmilayo has warned Nigerian ladies to stop putting toothpaste in their v*gina, because it doesn’t make it tighter.

In a Twitter thread shared on his handle, Olufunmilayo warned against the practice, stating that it is harmful. He went on to enlist some of the dangers that ladies can be exposed to when they engage in such practice.

Problems most times start when people start doing all sorts with their vagina. Pour soap inside. Wash with vim. Put vagina pearls. Add some spices. Use some okro. Try some toothpaste. These wild woke silly nonsense ideas are some of the things that give a lot of women problems.

Your vagina is tight enough. Your vagina is good enough. Your vagina is just perfect. You are fine as you are. Don’t let peer pressure and wild online claims of sexual wonder magic ideas or vagina products lead you on a journey of ruin and regret. It’s not worth it. Thank you!”

A Nigerian girl identified as Ogwubie Chikemzi Praise is being applauded by social media users after she got all A’s in her result.

WAEC results for the 2020 examination was released yesterday. About 1,338,358, representing 86.99 percent of 1,538,445 candidates who sat for the examination obtained credit and above in a minimum of any five subjects with or without the compulsory English Language and Mathematics.

Ogwubie Chikemzi Praise stood out among her peers as she had parallel A’s in all her subjects. This was made known on Twitter by Ikwerre Youth Movement Television.
