A Nigerian Lady, simply identified as Tolu, with the Twitter Handle, @LadyToluu has declared she can go all-in-all for a man’s organ.
Writing on her Twitter timeline, the beautiful lady said: “I can travel from Lagos to Sokoto for d-ck.”
She continued, saying that no one should come to her TL, to spew rubbish at her, or to preach, “Nobody should come and tell me any f-cking rubbish on my TL”
Her tweet has garnered over 312 retweets, and over 200 replies, and still counting.
..A Twitter user, Fuad, called her a fool, and a dirty dog, and she quickly clapped back at him, saying he was referring to his mother.
Another user, Ahmed, replied her as thus; “Congratulations. You have just won the award of the “Olosho of the Century”, then a user, identified as emmanuel, quickly replied Ahmed’s tweet; “You no get sense, you just gats abuse, travel from lagos to sokoto means she dey f-ck around???” Then Tolu, thanks Emmanuel for his support: “Just help me leave the bros. His reasoning capability isn’t very broad”
Nonye, had a different perspective, she feels Tolu shouldn’t be judged, as those even judging her, aren’t even as better as her: “See all of you judging her bcos her sin is different from y’alls sins! Anyway……”
Same with precious: “A tweet is not an endorsement. People say a lot of shii dey don’t mean. Awon castigators, like sey una no dey do pass. Silent oloshos”
Nella hilariously replied: “Why sokoto? Go farther naww.. like timbuktu or australia.”
Another user, showed her concenr, as Tolu has no idea how far Sokoto is from Lagos, she wrote; “Do you even know how far sokoto is? But you’ll go by air sha…abi?”
Mimi said: “If u like travel from Lagos to Borno for d**k, if u don’t make it a social media affair nobody will tell u rubbish but d moment u do expect rubbish cos u made it a social media affair.”
Even after three decades of reign as highlife maestro, ‘Guitar Boy’, as he is fondly called, Sir Victor Uwaifo, has remained relevant on the Nigerian music scene by reason of his evergreen songs, like ‘Mami Water’, ‘Guitar Boy’, and many others.
Jaywon
In an exclusive chat, the one-time Edo State Commissioner for Arts and Culture opened up to Showtime that Jaywon and Simi did not obtain copyright permission from him before recording a remix of his hit song, ‘Joromi’.
“They didn’t contact me before doing a remix of Joromi; but I’m like a father to them so I can’t begin to drag them to court, so let them make a living out of it, but at the same time it’s piracy”, he said.
According to the multi-instrumentalist, simply ascribing credit to him as original composer of the song would suffice as permission for him.
Sir Victor Uwaifo
“I’ve heard it too many times on different occasions; it shows the quality of the music that has come a long way. As far as I’m concerned I’ve lived five lives (from one generation to the other), so if they want to appreciate and still appreciate me, it shows the quality of the music.
It’s one thing to be an artiste and it’s another thing to stay on the scene for a long time; so I will not discourage artistes trying to remix or do another rendition of Joromi, but rather encourage them to give credit to the composer if they do”, he added.
Speaking further, he advised young music acts to learn the rudiments of live music performance rather than depending on computer based recording.
“The young ones of today have depended so much on computer which I think is not the best because creativity must have given birth to technology, while technology on the other hand is now usurping creativity for further advancements of technology and that is wrong.
It is the creative mind that created technology; the creative mind has spirit, life, soul and expression but the computer does not. It has no one on one communication, but if you play life music you can embellish with computer but don’t use computer as the major instrument as if it is the creative artiste itself.”
Simi
He further advised that they should emulate older musicians because they are the masters of the game. “The young ones should learn from the masters. They should undergo apprenticeship; they should learn the rudiments of music.
Music is not a free for all business; they should learn how to play music. I didn’t fall from the blues, I underwent apprenticeship with a few bands and well known musicians before I set up my own band, that is why I’m still relevant today.
Daddy Freeze, the Self-acclaimed leader of the Free the Sheeple movement, has replied Apostle Suleiman after the pastor chastised him for daring to drag the “Tithing topic” with The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye.
In his sermon tagged: “Breaking Forth during a special prayer programme for Fathers, Intending Fathers and their families” at the national headquarters of the church, Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Meta, Lagos, Pastor Adeboye asked the congregation to avoid divine curse like a plaque by pleasing God and also in paying of their tithe.
“Avoid divine curse like a plaque, somebody show me something on the internet on the question of paying tithe or not and the fellow said tithe is suppose to be used to buy alcohol and drink in the church.
“Now you know who is talking, even mad people will not come to church to drink alcohol, no matter how crazy that fellow is, asked him to come to church and drink beer, he will tell you that he is not that crazy, because even in his madness, he knows that it is the house of God and he will refuse to do such thing. But this fellow said otherwise that tithe ought to be used to drink alcohol.
“I know who is talking and I did not want to worry myself about such person. But please do not let anybody get you into trouble by attracting God’s curse to yourself, please pay your tithe.”
“I have said it before and I will say it again and again, if your physical father curse you, it can be cancel by your spiritual father, if your spiritual father curse you it can be cancel by the general overseer, if your general overseer curse you, you can fast and pray to your father in heaven but it God curses you, where will you go, he asked.
Apostle Suleiman, the President of the Omega Fire Ministries worldwide (OFM), stepped in; asked Freeze how dare he reply Pastor Adeboye and warned him to stay off preaching and stick to his field, adding that tithe and offering were not used to buy expensive jets.
Daddy Freeze, in his new reply to Apostle Suleiman, wants to know if Pastor Adeboye is God. Read what he wrote below:
“Dear apostle Suleiman, the leader of the #FreeNation greets you and brings glad tidings.
It would have gladdened my heart profoundly, and done the body of Christ much eminence, if you had shed some scriptural light on the tithing issue, as against going down the well worn path of sentimental and emotional blackmail your ‘elders’ have familiarized us with.
In 2017, Nigerian Pentecostal Christianity can no longer lean on the seemingly weak foundations it was established upon, as the numbers are clearly not adding up, hence the need for the #FreeTheSheeple movement to be birthed, to question conventional wisdom and challenge obtuse doctrines.
You made a statement that I find disheartening. According to you, “The GO corrected a wrong notion and I dared to respond to him”. Let me ask you, is he God? Or do I look like those people kissing and hugging his empty chair as seen in that forlorn video that went viral?
With all accorded respect sir, I have EVERY RIGHT, to demand an explanation for a doctrine that is evidently not in symphony with the teachings of Christ, or in synchrony with Biblical scripture.
Therefore, until either you, or anyone else provides conclusive biblical clarification, for why your churches collect tithe, despite the glaring contradiction that your first teachers and pastors, the 12 disciples and the churches they set up never did, this matter would linger.
About the debate you have suggested I’m all up for it, let’s communicate the venue and have this addressed once and for the last time.
I do extend my utmost regards and kind considerations. ~FRZ”

Wife to Legendary musician, 2face Idibia, Annie has been accused of brutally attacking her brother Wisdon’s fiancee, identified as Doris.
According to the video made available by IB9ja, the alleged fiancee is seen narrating what led to the said altercation, and how Annie and her mum stormed her home to violently attack her.
“Annie Idibia’s brother Wisdom has been my fiance for four years and I have given him two kids. I told him to come and do my bride price and he refused,” she began, adding that anytime she raises her mother’s discomfort with their relationship, Wisdom would storm out of the house.
“He smokes a lot [of] Indian hemp. Any little thing, he would beat,” said Doris who added that she was makeup artist before the mess her life has become. “That was how [Wisdom] met me. I was doing well.”
The mum of two went on to add that she was stopped from working, hence she is unable to support herself. “They don’t want me to work. Annie Idibia doesn’t want to help me. She doesn’t want to care about me. And their mum, too.”
Adding that, each time she had minor a altercation with Wisdom, he would bring in Annie and his mum to wreak havoc in her home.
“Next thing, Annie and her mum would come in her Prado [to cause trouble]“, (referencing the disarray in her home, her disfigured finger), she continued, “Look at my hand, they broke this hand on my son’s birthday. Any small thing, just like today, they would beat me.”
She continued, telling how Annie and her family ‘abducted’ her son.
The abused woman revealed that she was a comfortable make-up artiste before she met her fiance who seemed to have abandoned her without support. Her raggedy state can be perceived as a testament of her claim.
She is however not so keen about getting hitched to Macauley. Her preferred response will be for him to take responsibility of her and the children she bore in their years of living together.
Annie Idibia is yet to offer a comment concerning the allegations laid against her and family.
Social media users on Instagram were of the opinion that Doris plea for attention and claim of assault was an attempt to smear the reputation of the family.
That remains a subject for confirmation in a domestic violence case that has plagued some celebrities in the year 2017. Actresses Tonto Dikeh and Mercy Aigbe, are prominent examples, leading them to separate from their partners after so much debate concerning the authenticity of their assertion.

If there is one thing that Mrs. B. regrets most in her life, it is the day she walked into the Royal Heritage Church, Mafoluku, Lagos, for the first time.
Shortly after that day, with her teenage daughter in tow, she approached the pastor of the church, Tunde Daniel, a man in his 50s with two wives, and sought his spiritual help on the girl’s plan to become a model.
Mrs. B. told Saturday PUNCH that the pastor had told her he could make a super model out of the girl.
Because of the sensitivity of this case, Saturday PUNCH decided to keep the family anonymous.
But Mrs. B. said the moment she approached the pastor for help was the day she lost control of her daughter, who is now 16 years old. For more than a year, Mrs. B said she was struggling to get a grip of her life and win her daughter back from the hold Pastor Daniel allegedly had on her.
From that moment on began a relationship that allegedly snowballed into a sexual slavery for Mrs. B’s daughter.
According to her, it got to a point that if she gave her daughter an instruction, her obedience would depend on whether the pastor agreed or not.
The girl would occasionally visit the married pastor at his 8, Owolabi Street, Mafoluku, Lagos.
Mrs. B said, “My daughter suddenly became distant and she no longer listened to me. Then, one day, she ran away from home. I was at my shop when she ran away and her siblings were with me in the shop.
“I got home and was expecting to see her. I became worried after a few hours, but I still did not see her. Neighbours also could not tell me where she was.
“It was while searching everywhere for her that I noticed the money I kept in the house had gone.
“I tried to call Pastor Daniel but could not reach him on the phone and I went to his house. When I got there, I was told he was not around and for four days, my daughter was missing.
“Few days later, Pastor Daniel brought her back home in the evening. When I asked where she had been, she ignored me and when I asked the pastor, he shouted at me.”
Mrs. B. warned her daughter to stay away from the pastor but all she got in response was the rebuff.
According to her, Tunde continued to meet with the girl in secret.
Mrs. B. explained that unknown to her, the sexual abuse her daughter allegedly suffered in the hands of the pastor started in 2016 when the girl was still 15.
“She said that anytime she went to school, Pastor Daniel would pick her up there and take her to a hotel.
“One day in late February, 2017, I got a call from a hospital that said my daughter was in a critical condition. I did not know how she ended up in the hospital. At that time, I had lost control over her totally.
“When I got there, I was told that she had appendicitis and that an emergency surgery must be conducted to save her life. We were asked to look for N368,000. I called her father who was abroad, to inform him of the case and we quickly paid the money.
“It was when I saw the surgical scar that I became alarmed and I started petting her and told her to tell me what was going on. That was when she said that the pastor had impregnated her and that what I thought was the removal of her appendicitis was indeed abortion.
“I wanted to faint. I quickly confronted the doctors at the hospital and they told me that she was brought in by Pastor Daniel, who prevailed on them to say it was appendicitis. They said she had lost a fallopian tube. They said they were only concerned about saving her life.”
The hospital in question is High Rocks Hospital located on 8, Afariogun Street, Charity Area, Oshodi-Isolo.
However, the apprehensive Mrs. B., who could no longer handle the matter on her own, contacted the Child Protection Network in Oshodi, who took over the case.
The Coordinator of CPN in Isolo and Ejigbo, Mr. Ebenezer Omejalile, explained that further investigation on the case showed that Daniel’s ministry was reputed as one dedicated to preying on both innocent girls and married women.
According to him, after the CPN took over the case and it was reported at the Makinde Police Division, Oshodi, Daniel tried to turn the case against the victim’s family and reported at the anti-kidnapping unit of the Lagos State Police Command that Mrs. B. colluded with some officers at the Makinde Police Division to kidnap him and force him to part with money.
“The pastor threatened the investigating police officer in charge of the case. He was so confident that nothing was going to happen on the matter. I realised that it was necessary for the Commissioner of Police to hear about the matter, so I wrote a petition to the CP on the matter.
“The woman called him ‘father in the Lord’ and trusted him with her daughter. Most shocking was the part that the girl had lost a fallopian tube. When we interrogated the girl further, we realised that the pastor had given her some drugs to abort the pregnancy, which led to the complications.”
Omejalile said his petition to the Lagos CP was to explain why the case was not a kidnap case as claimed by Daniel, but one that bordered on gross sexual abuse and child endangerment.
Meanwhile, to prevent further contact between the girl and Daniel, the girl’s family took her away to the South-East to stay with her grandmother.
During her stay in their hometown, Saturday PUNCH learnt that the family concluded that the pastor might have put the girl under a spell.
“She kept repeating that she wanted to have sexual intercourse with Pastor Daniel. We did our best to break her from the curse,” a family member said on condition of anonymity.
They did not divulge further steps taken to break her free from the purported spell.
However, after months on the case, Omejalile’s petition to the Lagos CP finally yielded results on Tuesday, November 7. Daniel, who had been walking the streets as a free man since the case was reported at the Makinde Police Division, was invited at the Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters. He was subsequently detained as investigation and interrogation went on.
At the police headquarters, the girl, who was brought back from the East to give a statement, made more startling revelations.
Omejalile, who was present at the time said, “The girl said that anytime they had sex, he always recorded it. This is why we are worried at this point because we do not want such videos finding their way to the public. The girl said that he had a box in his room where he kept videos from different sexual encounters. The police said they would go and search his room soon.”
He explained that when they went to invite the pastor in company with policemen from the command headquarters, the girl was the one used as a bait.
Omejilale said, “We told her to put the phone on speaker and when the girl called him, he said he would like to see her and that he missed her. The girl said she could not come to his house but could meet him at work.
“The pastor works as a software engineer in a company at Oshodi. As soon as the girl got to his office, the pastor’s colleagues started greeting her as ‘Pastor Daniel’s daughter’. It was clear they were familiar with her. He was then informed that he was wanted at the police headquarters. He thought he could escape by placing a call to the policemen at the anti-kidnapping unit, whom he had reported to earlier. But he was told that he was being invited at the police headquarters by higher authority.”
Saturday PUNCH learnt that while being questioned at the police headquarters, the girl revealed that Daniel took her on a flight to Abuja at a point.
Mrs. B was asked why she was not aware of all these and how her daughter could embark on such long journeys without her knowledge, but the distraught mother said it was part of the reasons why she said she lost control of her daughter.
The pastor is still being detained by the police.
Meanwhile, the CPN has said once the prosecution of Daniel was underway, it would begin efforts in ensuring that the doctor at High Rocks Hospital, who carried out the abortion was investigated.
When Saturday PUNCH spoke with the head of the hospital, Dr. Femi Oloyede, an associate professor, he explained that the pastor brought the girl to his facility, claiming to be her guardian.
He said, “The man (Daniel) brought in the girl with ectopic pregnancy (development of foetus in fallopian tube) and we saved her. He said the girl was impregnated by her boyfriend. Our records are there to show what she was treated for. Who impregnated her was not the hospital’s concern. I was summoned when she was brought in and noticed she was in a very bad shape. She had to be resuscitated. I then said there was nothing we could do if her parents were not present even if he was the guardian as he claimed.
“The pastor then contacted the mother and she came in. We told her what was wrong with her daughter immediately. When we told them to make a deposit so we conduct an urgent surgery, they declined saying they were taking her to their regular hospital.
“I wrote them a referral and they left. They later came back in the evening when the girl’s situation had worsened. They had to beg me to come from home to attend to her. We did the operation and she took about three pints of blood within a space of three hours. She was bleeding inside. She was even on admission for some days after the surgery. If anything was ever in doubt, a responsible parent would have asked.”
Oloyede said the age of the pregnancy could not be immediately determined but said he believed it must have been about six weeks old.
He also said there was no evidence that there had been an attempt to abort the pregnancy but that the victim’s fallopian tube ruptured as a result of the ectopic pregnancy.
The doctor explained that he would be happy to assist the police in their investigation.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Mr. Olarinde Famous-Cole, who confirmed that Daniel was still in custody and being quizzed, said the doctor would be invited.
He said, “The investigation will definitely involve the hospital. The pastor has made some confessional statements.
“Investigation is ongoing to determine where and when each of the alleged acts took place.Investigators would be conducting a search on the house of the pastor also.”
Looks like Nigerian singer MC Galaxy seems to have found “true” love again as he has taken to social media to share a loved up photo of himself and his new girlfriend.
The MCG Empire Leader who in a chat with Punch, revealed reasons why he didn’t marry Laura Ikeji, took to his Instagram page to share a picture of himself and his new girlfriend kissing.
He wrote:
“Love is like pregnancy, you can hide it for a while but as it grows, it becomes very evident! Guys say hi to my baby ❤️and help me say thank you to my bestie @lauraikeji for all d advice ?”
Imo State government, Thursday, unveiled a statue in honour of Liberian president, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
Sirleaf was yesterday conferred with a chieftaincy title by the Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Samuel Ohiri.
A statement by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Sam Onwuemeodo, on Tuesday said Mrs. Johnson-Sirleaf’s visit was ‘principally’ to meet students of the Rochas Foundation, especially Liberian students whose parents died of Ebola.
Speaking after the honour, Johnson-Sirleaf said she was excited to be in Imo, adding that with education, hardwork and unity of purpose, Africa would soon get to the promised land.
“I have travelled to every part of the world and I have travelled all over Africa, I have never experienced something like this. I have seen leaders of Africa build schools, roads, give scholarships, and so on, in all of these things.
“I have not seen any of them go beyond the ordinary by gathering indigent children of Africa from all of our countries, bring them together in our family, sharing together, I thank you. There is no other better way to fight poverty and preach unity than this”, she said.
In his speech, Governor Rochas Okorocha said the Foundation was not set up to show affluence, rather a platform to foster the kind of unity Africa yearns for.
“What I do today is not a dramatisation of affluence as I am not amongst the richest in Africa, Rochas foundation is a dramatisation of sacrifice.
“This may as well be the Africa we are looking for, I do know that this institution will grow beyond me and my generation. This may be the beginning of the unity we all crave for in Africa. These children now see themselves as one family”, he said.
It also turns out that Okorocha didn’t just confer her with a chieftain title and a statue, but he also commissioned and named a road after her.
Former Manchester United Left full back, Patrice Evra‘s contract has been terminated by Olympique de Marseille after he was banned until June 2018 for kung-fu kicking a fan.
The former France captain was sent off before Marseille’s Europa League defeat against Vitoria on November 2 after lashing out at a supporter who Evra claimed was abusing him.
UEFA charged Evra under article 15 of their disciplinary regulations, which deals with the misconduct of players, banning him from their club competitions until June.
And Marseille quickly followed news of his suspension by terminating his contract with immediate effect.
A statement published on Marseille’s website read:
“Patrice Evra has been exemplary on the field and in the locker room. He played an important role in reviving the team and in the improvement of results.
“However, on November 2 in Guimaraes he committed an irreparable act by responding to provocations from a handful of individuals.
“Nothing justified such a reaction, especially from a senior player whose attitude both on and off the pitch should inspire the youngest of us.
“In that context, the conditions were no longer right for Patrice Evra to accomplish his mission here with serenity or, above all, effectively.
“Both parties agreed to end the collaboration by mutual consent.
“This incident also highlighted the unacceptable attitude of a small number of people who uttered insults and threats of violence towards the player and his family before contemptuously invading the pitch.
“Such behaviour, which exposes the club to sanctions, has no place in the stands of a football stadium and at Marseille in particular.”
Club president Jacques-Henri Eyraud added: “Today, there is sadness. For Patrice Evra first, who obviously understood all the consequences of his action and who will no longer be able to exercise his passion at Olympique de Marseille.
“Also for Marseille fans, who are stigmatised because of the irresponsible behaviour of a handful of them.”
Marseille’s American owner Frank McCourt had described Evra’s behaviour as “unacceptable” and “not something that we can tolerate”, while fans held up a giant banner before last Sunday’s game against Caen saying: “We don’t want you in our colours anymore. Evra get lost.”
Marseille have also been fined €25,000 by UEFA for their supporters invading the pitch, setting off fireworks and acts of damage.
The Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha has unveiled the statue built in honor of visiting Liberian president, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
Although, while appreciating the gesture of the state governor, the Liberian president said she has never received such an honor.
According to her, she has a statue in her alma mater, Harvard University, but the size of the statue cannot be compared to the one built by the Rochas Okorocha administration.
Shortly after unveiling the statue of the Liberian President, Rochas Okorocha was asked by a journalist why he is building statues and he replied:
“To immortalize people so our children yet unborn can read a piece of them. History is dying in Africa. We must keep history alive. In the next 100 years to come, most of us will not be here but this will stand for children to read stories and mold their character. If leaders are not mortalized, there will not be history for children yet unborn’.
There is this girl I’ve been dating for few months now. Her beauty is one of a kind, she is down to earth. But she lemme know she has a boyfriend, I said no problem. We started getting along, we do things together, walked together, party together. In fact she never wanted me to do anything alone.
She started loosing interest in her boyfriend. She hardly pick his calls, they argued on phone everytime. Things started falling in place for me until her brothers infact everybody told her to dump me. They said the guy love her blah blah.
The pressure was on her then one night she told me we should break up. She cried out her eyes, I told her I’ll be fine so she would stop crying. The next day I started crying, I couldn’t handle the break up. I cried like a baby. I was depressed,If not for God and my friends I almost commit suicide.
She said we should get back together that she can’t live without me. We got back together again that’s when the problem started.
The relationship is now very strong now, I started feeling jealous and insecure. We spent more time together than before. We are still in our early 20’s. I’m getting obsessed over her. I used to dream about her every night. I always check her FB page every minutes to see her new post.
I used to call her and text her all day. I’m not myself anymore. Her image is always on my head every seconds. I’m not serious with anything again expect her. I’m always afraid I can’t find someone as beautiful and perfect like her. I’m scared she will leave me one day.
I always used my last money to get something for her just to make her happy. I’m even thinking about her right now. Now she has know my weakness and she is now playing with it. I’m not always like this, I want to go back to my normal self.
This is more than love, Somebody should help me on how to escape from this obsession!!!
It is quite obvious Davido hasn’t let go of the drama that he was involved in, some weeks back, a drama that was started by Caroline Danjuma.
Recall, Caroline Danjuma infamously called out Davido for playing a “role” in the death of his friend, Tagbo, who she was also in a relationship with.
She wrote on Instagram: “Davido, where is Tagbo? He was with you and your crew last night… You all wore face cap to hide you identities after he died in your car… You dumped him at general hospital and ran away.
The law must play it’s role this time…. You all better provide tabgbo alive… @davidooficial….. After you all abandoned him at general hospital, you continued you stupid grooving at DNA and had the nerves to promote your show…. This ain’t no ordinary boy you can intimidate his family.
We need you to tell us how he died in your car and why you ran away. The police and hospital have confirmed you all ran away. If you think your money can save you, you just met your match. Promise…”
Well, in Davido’s new song, “FIA” released yesterday, he said; “Caroline save your drama, I don’t need it, for a soap opera.”
The famous singer has however stylishly denied that it was directed at her after he was questioned by a fan.
He said: “I’m talking to my friend Caroline from primary school she told the teacher that I stole her eraser that year .. nah she I Dey talk to oo abeg”
Following a system failure in the payment system, multiple allowance payments have been made to many corps members while depriving others of theirs.
Corps members have been thrown into dilemma on whether to initiate a refund or not.
According to The Nation, some Corp members were surprised when they got multiple credit alerts – some up to four times -for October payment.
For instance, it was learnt that some of those those who passed out last Thursday, November 2, got as much as N164,000 instead of the usual N41,000, while others who are still serving received as much as N79,200, instead of 19,800.
Conversely, sources from NYSC office across the country revealed that a good number of Corp members have been waiting in vain for their allowances.
“I usually get my allowance through a new generation bank. We were told to expect payment of our allowances before our POP (passing out parade) but we did not get it.
“But on Monday evening I received a credit alert from my bank for payment. It was for N41,000.
“As I was rejoicing over the payment, another one came in,” a source who asked not to be named told The Nation.
The source said he later got two more alerts which swelled his account by N164,000.
Meanwhile, the same former corps member’s friend, who served in Owo, Ondo State, was yet to receive hers, 48hours later.
Although the NYSC was yet to make a statement on the development, a letter allegedly sent by an official of one of the affected banks on Tuesday night appealed to beneficiaries of the ‘largess’ to return the excess payment.
The alleged letter read:
“As you may have noticed Due to a little hitch and technical error of our automated FTDS (fund transfer and dispensing system), some Corper were paid twice and others even up to x4 of usual 19,800 monthly allowee.

A 21-year-old Job hunter, Joe Parsons has revealed that the giant inking of a heart with angel wings has seen him rejected by dozens of employers.
He spent £250 on the design in a tribute to his late grandfather, but after 30 recent interviews, he is still on the hunt for work.
Fed-up Joe, from Collyhurst, North Manchester, said: “As soon as I sit down they [employers] look me in the eyes and then I see their gaze drop down to my neck where they stay for a few seconds. Then they look up again and go on with the interview.
I can tell they are pre-judging me even before the interview has started.”
It has forced Joe to wear high-necked shirts in a bid to cover up the tattoo – but the wings still peek out above the collar line.
He added:
“Before I got the tattoo people thought I was a happy, confident person. Now it feels like people think I’m full of myself and that I don’t give a damn. That’s just not who I am. I’m just a normal person and all I want is a decent job.
There’s definitely a stigma attached which there shouldn’t be. I do think it’s a form of discrimination.
“It’s not down to the skills I have and in every interview they haven’t given me a good reason. Now I feel like I’ve got ‘don’t hire me’ written all over my neck.
“I don’t want to get it removed. It means so much to me.”
Joe went under the needle in November 2016 while working at Stockport biscuit factory.
He was forced to leave his job in January to take care of his mum after she was attacked in the street.
The President of the Omega Fire Ministries worldwide (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, has addressed the recent tithe controversy that has been generating series of arguments on the social media.
He reacted and replied Daddy Freeze’s understanding on tithes during a church service as revealed that anyone who isn’t a Pastor has no right to attack a Pastor on church issues.
He said:
“Let it be clear that if anyone is not a pastor, he has no right to attack a pastor on church issue. He should leave everything to God. I only laugh. Somebody who is not a doctor cannot teach a certified doctor how to go about doing his job; he will just be laughed at. Someone who is not a journalist can’t teach a true journalist how he should do his work; they will just be laughing at him.
I wouldn’t have spoken on the issue but you don’t argue with a man whose mind is already made up on any issue. It is futile. And I’m not going to confuse anybody to pay tithe, no. if you attend my church and you decide not to pay tithe, it’s left to you. In my church they don’t pay me allowance. I live on my personal businesses and I write books. So far, I have written 52 books that are inspirational and I’m still writing. If you write books that are inspirational, believers and non-believers will buy. It is not as if it is only church members that buy pastors’ books. That alone is enough to sustain any pastor. So, you don’t just jump to criticize any pastor for buying private jets of expensive cars because you think it is tithe that they use to buy them.
If you asked me, there is nothing wrong with tithing. But tithes should be used by pastors to maintain Christianity, assist the poor in the church, the vulnerable and the stranded. Not that everything should go into the pastor’s pocket, that’s wrong. Every pastor should be on allowance.
That young man does not deserve a response; in fact, I’m not talking because of him but because my Papa, Pastor Adeboye had spoken, I’m speaking on the issue. Now, if it requires that we go into a debate, let’s have it. Yes, your tithe is not a license to make heaven but it is an acknowledgment of God’s mercy in your life. But because Papa Adeboye corrected the wrong notion and the young man dared to respond to him, I felt it was insulting. This is not about sentiment or emotion, it is about commonsense. You don’t respond to an elder in certain manner, especially a man of Pastor Adeboye’s standing.
There are things people shouldn’t just dabble into especially when it is not their field. Even if you mobilize the whole world against tithing, you will only end up being counterproductive because this is not your field. Men of God do not need to react to such issues because like I said earlier, once somebody has made up his mind on a position, nobody should argue with such a man. My reaction to such a man is, if that is your position, keep it, continue with what you believe but don’t confuse people to believe what you believe.”

A Pentecostal church member identified as Ese Kalu, reportedly collapsed and died while leading praise and worship during church service.
The incident reportedly happened during a mid-week service at the Church premises along Cemetery Road in Sapele, Delta State, on Tuesday night, Vanguard reports.
It was gathered that the deceased, a female petty trader, was said to have attended church services that evening, full of life but suddenly fell down, clutching her chest.
A lady who claimed to be the late woman’s relative told the newspaper that she had no medical history.
She said:
“Ese went to church around 7pm. she was singing when she suddenly stopped and clutched her chest, before going down.
“Church members who took her to the hospital came back crying, they said she died before they could get to the clinic.”
A company, identified as Cinderella Escorts is helping young girls auction their virginity so they can be able to pay their college fees.
The company became popular in 2016 when they auctioned a virgin Alexandra Khefren, 18 for $2.7M to one businessman from Hong Kong.
The company says they run medical tests on all the girls to verify that they are indeed virgins – with the money made from the auction of the girls’ virginity, the company gives the girls bump student loans to see them through college.
Cinderella Escorts also offers services for those who are looking for mistresses, escorts and more.
For most of these girls who are selling their virginity, they feel, it’s better to give it out to someone and make money than to give it to some boyfriend who in the end would not even marry them.
The ages of these girls range from 18-30 and some of them have high bids. Some of them are selling their virginity from $20,000- $2.7 million.
The Minister of Power, Work and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola has denied allegations of fraud by senator Dino Melaye against him and the Ministry.
Melaye had alleged that the power ministry diverted $35 million to the Afam fast power project without the approval of the national assembly.
He also said a sum of $350 million raised from a $1 billion Eurobond was spent by the ministry in 2013.
But Fashola in a statement denied these allegations adding that investors do not require Parliamentary approval to invest in Nigeria.
He said:
“Before perception becomes reality, I feel compelled to make this Statement in response to allegations bordering on financial impropriety raised on the Floor of the Senate against the Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, my Office as Minister, the staff of the Ministry and by extension my person.
“The sum and substance of the allegations to which the Ministry will provide full, factual and detailed response when formally invited are that: An amount in the region of $350million being part of a $1billion Eurobond facility taken in 2013 has gone missing or has been diverted and that the Ministry, had procured a contract for Afam Fast Power and paid $26million or thereabout for it.
“With all emphasis, I state that there is no factual basis for the allegations. The Ministry, my staff and I have done nothing wrong and we will collaborate fully with the Investigating Committee when called upon. For now, it suffices for members of the public to note that I wasn’t a Minister in 2013, and that when Government raises a Debt like the Eurobond, it is the Debt Management Office that manages the Debt and not the Ministry”.
“The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) had on Monday, 6th November 2017 issued a Statement on the Front Page of The Nation Newspaper explaining that the money was not missing, stating also that the $350 million had been invested and that interest had even accrued on the money”.
“If there was no ulterior motive for the allegation, this was enough reason for a reconsideration of the presentation of the Motion on the Floor of the Senate on the 8th of November 2017. But the story seemed to have changed from “missing money” last week, to a “desperate attempt to retrieve the money”, this week”.
“As for the Afam Fast Power, the sum and substance of it is that it was an investment by the General Electric, a globally reputed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), to invest in our country and support our effort to get good quick power under our Roadmap of Incremental, Steady and Uninterrupted power”.
“They offered to do this by providing Nigeria with mobile turbines of 600MW if we could find a location with Gas and Transmission evacuation infrastructure. The Afam Power Station fitted because it had transmission and evacuation facilities but all its turbines had been virtually run down.
The investment was contingent on paying $27,990,000 million which was 15% of 8 (eight) units of 30MW turbines each totaling 240MW valued at about $186,600,000:00 and this payment of $27.9m was made without breaching any law”.
“At this moment, the turbines have arrived Nigeria and currently at the Onne Port.
This is verifiable just as works are on going on the site – civil and engineering – preparing to receive the turbines , and install other equipment already at site.
All of these are verifiable by all well meaning Nigerians who may want to undertake the inspection. We expect that the project will be commissioned soon enough to add 240MW to the Grid. This will be one of the fastest power projects when delivered, compared to inherited power projects before this Administration”.
“Investors to the best of my knowledge do not require Parliamentary approval to invest in our Country. All of these facts could have been easily verifiable by a simple letter from the Senator to the Ministry without the furore and suggestions of wrong doing and malfeasance”.
“Unverified allegations such as the ones under discussion constitute an imminent threat to our investment climate. For the avoidance of doubt, there has been no wrong doing whatsoever”.

There were indications on Thursday that the man who informed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of the $43m, N23.2m and £27,800 (N13bn) recovered from an Ikoyi apartment in April, may be given about N325m in the light of the Federal Government’s whistle-blower policy.
The whistle-blower policy states that any whistle-blower whose information leads to the recovery of over N5bn will attract a 2.5 per cent reward.
The acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, who did not disclose how much would be given to the whistle-blower, said the commission was already counselling him on how to spend the money.
Magu, while speaking at the ongoing 7th Session of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption holding in Vienna, Austria, said the whistle-blower was a man who had “never seen N1m in his life.”
He, therefore, called on Nigerians who want a positive change in the country to take advantage of the whistle-blower policy.
The EFCC boss said aside from contributing to the eradication of corruption, potential whistle-blowers would also benefit from the illicit acquisition by the looters.
Magu said, “We are currently working on the young man because this is just a man who had not seen N1m of his own before. So, he is under counselling on how to make good use of the money and also the security implication. We don’t want anything bad to happen to him after taking delivery of his entitlement. He is a national pride.
“So we encourage more whistle-blowers to come forward with genuine information that will lead to recoveries from looters of public treasuries. That is part of the ways we can put an end to the looting madness in the public sector.
“When they know that they have no place to keep the loot, as all eyes are on them, they will find looting of public treasuries unattractive.”
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos and presided by Justice Muslim Hassan had on June 7, 2017 ordered the final forfeiture of the total sum of $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23,218, 000 to the Federal Government which means all legal hurdles have been crossed.
The money, which belongs to the National Intelligence Agency, has since been deposited in the Central Bank of Nigeria.

A vegetable seller, identified as Chukuma Okoro who became an armed robber in order to raise N300,000 to pay his lover’s bride price has just confessed after he was caught.
According to the suspect, he went into armed robbery to satisfy his wife’s family who are demanding for her dowry.
The members of the public who witnessed the parade of criminals and other notorious armed robbery suspects at the Police command headquarters, in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Thursday, were left in shock when a man confessed that the families of his wife pushed him into armed robbery.
According to Vanguard, the 34-year-old vegetable seller explained that the family of his wife were requesting for N300,000 as dowry before he would have total access to their daughter.
He said that as a vegetables seller, the only option left for him was to look for a short cut because he loves the lady and wants her at all cost.
Okoro who confessed that his efforts to satisfy his wife and her family pushed him to robbery said:
“I wanted to pay my wife’s dowry but I do not have the N300,000 demanded by her family.
“It is my wife and her family that pushed me into it, I have never stolen in my life, this is the first time. She ran away from my house three weeks ago and has been begging me that she wants to come back.
“Since I love her so much and do not want her family to give her to another man that was why I started looking for money by all means to pay her dowry so that she could come back to my house.
“There is no way I can get that N300,000 to pay her dowry, that was why I tried to rob and this is the first time I will be doing it,” he said, adding that his friends and neighbours made jest of him when his wife left for her parents house because of his inability to meet their demand on bride price.
Okoro said he was desperate to have her back and in a bid to shame his jesters, he opted for armed robbery which according to him was the easiest means of getting money in that circumstance.
It was gathered that on the day he was arrested, Okoro trailed a salesgirl of a beer distribution company located at Adegbola in the metropolis who was taking N550,000 proceeds of the day’s sales to the bank. He was said to have trailed the salesgirl of the beer distribution company on Okada before attacking her.
While struggling with the salesgirl to collect the money, the suspect was pushed off the Okada and he fell after which he shot at the victim twice before he was overpowered and arrested by sympathisers.
Police source said that the salesgirl was fortunate that the pistol refused to release any of the five live bullets in it before sympathisers pounced on him and beat him black and blue.
When asked how he knew the salesgirl he robbed was taking that volume of money to the bank, Okoro said that he had an inside sources.
He said:
“I got all the information I needed. I was told the amount to be taken to the bank, when the salesgirl would leave the office, the route she would take and the bank she was heading to.
“So I decided to engage an Okada rider for a fee and he parked where we were able to see the salesgirl when she left the office and as soon as it was safe I struggled to snatch the bag containing the money from her. But the girl was so brave that while I struggled to snatch the bag she pushed me off the Okada causing me and the Okada rider to fall.
“I brought out a pistol from my pocket and fired two shots but the gun refused to expel the bullets. The Okada man then fled the scene and I became helpless which made some youths and others around the area to overpower me and I was arrested.”
Timely intervention of policemen reportedly saved Okoro from being burnt alive by some youths who had rushed to a nearby vulcanizer to get used tyres.
Parading the suspect, the state police command image maker, Femi Joseph, said that a pistol and five live carriages were found on Okoro when he was arrested.
Joseph said, “Okoro attacked a sales girl who was going to the bank to deposit N500,000. As he was struggling to collect the money from her, the girl raised the alarm that attracted the passers by who arrested him.”
The police spokesman said the suspect would soon be charged to court just as he assured that the command would not relent in the fight against crimes and criminality in the state.
