#BBNaija: Why Kemen Must Sue Big Brother!

The answer is simple. Big Brother lacks the moral obligation to disqualify Kemen over his situation with Tboss when worse has been condoned.

The show itself reeks of immorality, period. Several acts of immorality; sexual and non sexual have been perpetrated by contestants and condoned by the organisers of the show since its inception.

But what makes this special?

Yes, ladies we agree it was a sensitive and delicate issue and in fact inexcusable, but were you expecting morality from an immoral show?

Where were you when Debby Rise violated Bassey? Or it doesn’t count when a man is the victim?

Or where was BigBrother when married TTT was being serviced by Bisola? Why didn’t BigBrother (the informant) inform her of his marital status? Maybe that just wasn’t immoral enough.

Perhaps the most hypocritical part on Big brother would have to be in 2007, remember the fingergate scandal between Richard and Ofunekka? How convenient that Big Brother even rewarded the culprit with the prize of the competition. But now disqualify Kemen for a less grievous act?

In conclusion, Big Brother Nigeria is not a reality show that prides itself over its moral standards, so to escalate this Kemen-Tboss situation to the level of disqualification was just plain hypocritical.

Especially considering that TBoss didn’t even lodge a complaint, rather BigBrother blew the whole situation out of proportion.

Kemen would henceforth be stigmatized and become victimized as a sex offender which would damage his relationship and business. He should and must sue for damages and in fact defamation of character.

He is considered as one of Africa’s most talented actors, by both Movie Awards and Movie Magic’s Africa Magic Cable network.

Although a seasoned administrator and broadcaster, he came into prominence in the 1980s when he played the lead role of Okonkwo in an NTA adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s all-time best selling novel, Things Fall Apart. Edochie descends from the Igbo people in Nigeria and is a Catholic.

How about we take time out to celebrate this rare gem who has brought prominence to the Nollywood scene since the beginning of his career.

We were shocked to our bones when the news was sent to us that some Nigerian ladies are uploading their nudes in a Facebook Group for a competition price of N30,000.

The Facebook page is allegedly owned and sponsored by a Nigerian guy who is based in Malaysia. He put up a competition where he Invited ladies to upload their nude photos, and whoever has the highest likes wins N30,000. The exclusive photos sent to us shows some of the contestants who participated in the pathetic competition.

Apparently, our snitch who was a part of the group claimed many Girls partook in the competition.. and the unfortunate thing is, the owner of the Facebook Group used their nude picture to blackmail the girls.

Two Muslim Brothers Divorce Their Wives Through Whatsapp.

Two American Muslim brothers have sparked outrage after they divorced their wives simply by sending them the word ‘divorce‘ three times via WhatsApp.

The men were relying on a clause in Sharia law known as ‘talaq‘, which means that men can divorce their wives simply by clearly telling them they are doing so, which they did using the app.

According to Daily Mail, Heena Fatima allegedly received the word Talaq written three times from her husband of four years Syed Fayazuddin Hussain a few weeks ago.

Hussain then sent her divorce papers to Hyderabad, in southern India, from the US, reports India Today.

Mehreen Noor, married to Hussaini’s brother Mohammad Abdul Aqeel, then received a similar message informing her that she had been divorced.

‘They (the two brothers) have made marriage a joke,’ said Mehreen.

The two women have now lodged complaints with the police, claiming that the Islamic principle allowing them to divorce them in such a way conflicts with others.

In Sharia law, talaq – roughly translated as divorce – can be declared by the man without court approval but is usually followed by a three-month period, during which time it can be revoked.

The divorce becomes official when it expires but they can still remarry, unless he repudiates her again.

However, the two brothers have used the process of ‘triple talaq’ to skip the notice period, declaring that there is no chance of reconciliation in a single message.

While the act is permitted under Sharia law it may conflict with Indian laws protecting women in the case of divorce. Not providing for the women could also conflict with other Sharia legal principles.

The news comes as the legality of ‘triple talaq’ is being considered by the Supreme Court. The court recently said that religious practice cannot override the rights of women.

Heena said:

‘Sharia law lets you divorce me, but who is going to look after our children? Doesn’t Sharia law ask of you to take care of your children?’

Mehreen has also cast doubt on her husband’s identity, claiming he may have lied to her at the time they were married.

‘I found out after marriage that my husband’s real name is Usman Qureshi. Now, without citing any reason, he has sent me divorce,’ she said in a recent report.

Court Denies Apostle Suleiman’s Application To Remand Alleged Ex-Lover In Prison Custody.

Justice Kikelomo Bukola Ayeye, the chief magistrate of the Lagos State Magistrate Court in Tinubu, has denied a request to remand one Wisdom Godstime and Stephanie Otobo, a lady in an explosive case who claims to have had an affair with Apostle Johnson Suleiman, founder of Omega Fire Ministry Worldwide.

The judge ruled that there is no substantial evidence to deny Stephanie her fundamental right to freedom, and hence granted her bail on liberal terms.

Justice Kikelomo said the matter was a case between two Nigerians and it did not matter if one of the parties was a man of God. She granted bail on conditions that the accused person deposit a sum of N100,000, with two sureties in like sum who must be gainfully employed.

According to SaharaReporters, in the application for remand, seen by them, the police said that Wisdom and Stephanie were suspected to have threatened and blackmailed the man of God.

Attached to the application for remand was a four-count charge of terrorism, blackmail, and extortion, including threatening “an act of terrorism, demanding property with menace with intent to steal and attempt to extort money,” at the Police College in Ikeja, Lagos on February 14.

In the second count, the police said,

Wisdom and Stephanie “…with intent to blackmail a man of God, did unlawfully demand the immediate payment of the sum of $1,000,000 (one million US dollars) to you by Apostle Suleiman, … else you will call a conference and accuse him out for committing adultery … and having an illicit relationship with her (Stephanie).”

President Muhammadu Buhari’s return to Nigeria has reportedly been put off late last night because his doctors would not certify him healthy enough to return home despite strong pressure from members of his inner circle.

According to SaharaReporters, Presidency sources said the desperation to have him back was so much that the cabal sent to London on Friday the biggest jet in the presidential fleet, a Boeing Business Jet 737, known as “Airforce 001.” Read their report below:

They wanted to ferry Buhari into Abuja before the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Wednesday.
In that connection, the smaller presidential jet which initially flew President Buhari to the UK was returned to Abuja the same day while the bigger jet was sent to London with a fresh crew.
SaharaReporters also learnt that the return to Abuja last week of Buhari’s powerful nephew, Mammam Daura, as well as one of his daughters, all heightened the political anxiety that President Buhari would return on Sunday evening.
Our sources maintained that President Buhari’s doctors refused to give him the clean bill of health that would enable him to return.
In the meantime, media aides to the president have continued to issue statements claiming that President Buhari is making phone calls to world and Nigerian leaders and politicians over a variety of issues.
This strategy is aimed at keeping politicians and the public believing that the president is fully recovered from his numerous ailments, but sources involved in Mr. Buhari’s treatment say he is far from recovered, and his return date, and therefore his return to work, remains unclear.
In an earlier report, SaharaReporters revealed that President Buhari has prostate flares in addition to intestinal maladies that have seen him lose weight progressively and unable to eat well.

His arrest comes after Vampire, who was freed by his men as he was arraigned in court, was killed by the Nigerian police.

The report of the native doctor’s arrest was shared on Facebook by IK Ogbonna, a media aide to Gov. Rochas Okorocha of Imo State.

A Kano Sharia court has remanded a nursing mother, Habiba Inusa and her 7 days old baby in prison custody for adultery.

Habiba Inusa allegedly gave birth a day after she participated alongside 1520 couples in a sponsored mass wedding by the state Government last week.

The Director General, Kano Hisbah Board, Dr. Abba Sifu in an interview with a local radio station said that the woman is currently under the custody of the court in Doguwa local government area.

Dr Sufi said that the woman was arraigned before a Shari’ah court in Doguwa local government area of Kano state for adultery and deliberate concealment of pregnancy respectively.

The Director General disclosed that government had confiscated room furniture and other items earlier given to her as benefits of mass wedding exercise.

According to Dr Sufi;

“Habiba had confessed to the court that she was pregnant months before the mass wedding exercise, and that she offered her younger sister’s urine to escape pregnancy screening exercise.” “She told the court that she went to the venue of the screen with her sister’s urine which she concealed in her stomach and when it was her turn for the test, she presented her sister’s urine in place of hers,”

Dr. Sufi added that the woman also confirmed that the pregnancy was for one Kamalu, not her husband, adding that

“when the said Kamalu was invited, he confessed to have slept with the woman some months ago.”

He said the court had also invited her parents for explanation over the unfortunate incident.

He says when you are in the spotlight in his town, you need serious prayer to continue thriving. He wrote below:

“I have never really watched the big brother Nigeria,I only follow it activities on the social media. Up until this evening Kemen our son was celebrated online by fans and followers of BBN from our very Akwa Ibom but suddenly,a breaking news of his disqualification from the house and the whole narrative changed and the social Media is now saturated with different stories and versions about Kemen and his disqualification.

Many who before now had celebrated Kemen are in a hurry to crucify him for his mistake(s).

“God Is Against Oral And Anal Sex” – Nigerian Lady Says.

A Nigerian lady on Facebook, Ibiene Bato Martha Williams, in a post of hers, claimed that God hates anal and oral sex – according to her, the Holy Spirt ministered to her that married couples have been erring too when they have sex, as she deliberated on sexual purity for singles.

She claims that any part of the body which was not created as a sex organ, shouldn’t be used for sex. She also says that people who engage in such act, are comfortable with it because they’re yet to allow the Holy Spirit tutor them.

Yesterday we spent our time justifying the un-justifiable as I laid on my bed reading and taking the notes as the Spirit of God ministered to me.
First, let’s go back to primary school. The mouth is an organ of speech. The mouth is for eating. The tongue is for taste. The anus is for excretion.
Someone asked why I feel Jesus would be watching while a husband and wife copulates and the answer is because His Eyes Is Over Everything And Everyone.
While I was on the message for sexual purity for singles, the Holy Spirit made it clear to me that even the married have been erring in purity too.
Whether we agree or yes, oral sex and anal sex are against nature. The anus and the mouth are not sexual organs. You will argue over it because you’ve not allowed the Holy Spirit to tutor you on sexual purity.
God was not stupid when he made the penis and the vagina in us. Whatever form of sexual pleasure that you seek using your tongue on a woman’s vagina(as a man) and your tongue on a man penis(as a woman) is sin.

It goes the same way for anal sex.
You feel comfortable doing them because you’re yet to let the Holy Spirit tutor you.
Anal and oral sex are acts of sexual deviance.
You know what you’re doing is wrong when you start trying so hard to make a case in favor of it – just as the case was made by majority of us in favor of oral sex.
You’re against anal sex not because it’s scriptural but because it’s painful, right? So, since oral sex doesn’t come with any pain we’re good to go – that is an argument only a carnal minded Christian would come up with.

I’ll end this post with this:
You didn’t learn oral sex and anal sex from the Bible because you didn’t allow the Holy Spirit teach you on those scriptures above.
You don’t put food in your ears, you pass it through your mouth. Why didn’t you argue that they are both body opening?
The tongue is not meant to give you sexual pleasure, it’s meant for taste. The mouth is for speech and for eating. The anus of for excretion.
Galatian 5:16 until we walk in the Spirit, we will keep justifying things that the Holy Spirit is against.”

Alleged lover of Omega Fire Ministries founder, Apostle Suleiman, Stephanie Otobo, who reportedly got dumped after getting pregnant for the Pastor, has debunked the reports made by Sahara Reporters.

Ms. Otobo, who says she’s just a young girl of twenty-three (23) years old, and doesn’t know Barr. Festus Keyamo from anywhere, revealed that some gullible individuals are out to make money from the innocent man of God (Apostle Johnson Suleiman); using her as a bait.

The lady who expressed shock over the media propaganda being championed by Sahara Reporters, said that the #500M claims is such a huge sum to come about. She further revealed that she’s from a broken home, and her separated parents can never dream of pulling just 1% of such an amount in a very long time.

While refuting the allegations made against Apostle Johnson Suleiman by Festus Keyamo on her behalf, Stephanie Otobo is calling on Nigerians of good will to discard the earlier media propaganda by Sahara Reporters and consider same as totally false and untrue.

“Yes, I had an encounter with some officers The Nigeria Police few days back; but I don’t remember making any such ambiguous claims against a reputable man of God in the status of Apostle Johnson Suleiman. Let the man of God alone please” she said.

“President Muhammed Buhari May Return Today, March 6th” – Former Minister For Information, Nakande Says.

Ibrahim Dasuki Nakande, former Minister of State for Information, has claimed that he has information suggesting that President Muhammad Buhari could return to Nigeria today March 6, Daily Trust reports.

The newspaper quoted Nakande as saying this during another special prayer session, attended by hundreds of clerics, for the quick recovery of the president that was held on Sunday, March 5 at the Jos Central Mosque

If Nakande’s information is correct, then President Buhari could return today March 6 after over thirty days in the UK.

“From the information I gathered, President Buhari is hale and sound and may come back today (yesterday) or tomorrow (today). All what is needed from us is prayer for the full recovery and God’s guidance for the president to deliver his campaign promises,” Nakande said.

Nakande was also quoted as saying President Buhari has been speaking with different stakeholders, including the leadership of the National Assembly including Senate president, Bukola Saraki, who had visited the Nigerian leader in London and confirmed that he is doing well.

Nakande said Buhari is Nigeria’s saviour from the current economic and political mess that it is in.

“It is only Buhari that can take this nation out of the mess it found itself,” he said.

Nakande’s words come just days after Sahara Reporters wrote that President Buhari’s aides are allegedly trying to get him back to Aso Rock in Abuja before the eight-week closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the Federal Capital Territory if possible.

“Some of Mr. President’s associates are mounting pressure on him to return to Abuja as soon as possible, and especially before the [Abuja] airport is temporarily closed,” Sahara Reporters quoted a source close to the presidency as saying.

“I Didn’t Promise Stephanie Otobo Marriage, She’s A Blackmailer” – Apostle Suleiman

The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, on Monday distanced himself from the arrest and detention of Stephanie Otobo by the police last Friday, March 3, 2017 over alleged blackmail.

The allegation against Suleman came about one month after his interrogation by the Department of State Services over alleged incitement in his sermon in which he advised that Fulani herdsmen who came near his church should be killed.

The cleric in a statement by his Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, obtained by THE PUNCH in Abuja, said there was no amorous relationship between the said Otobo and himself, including a promise to marry her.

According to Shaibu, the lady was allegedly arrested by operatives acting on a tip off that the she had repeatedly tried to blackmail Suleman, including demanding N500 million from him, failing which she threatened to expose a purported amorous relationship between her and the Pastor.

Punch reported that a legal practitioner, Festus Keyamo, had demanded N500 million on behalf of Otobo and also accused Apostle Suleman of allegedly procuring policemen to intimidate and detain his client unlawfully, having earlier promised to marry her.

Shaibu said Keyamo was misled into believing that there was an amorous relationship between Apostle Suleman and Otobo, addding that the lady was “caught up by her own machinations as she was arrested while trying to withdraw money paid into her account by the Church in a sting operation coordinated by the police.”

He said,

“Unknown to Keyamo, the police was alerted following several attempts by the said lady to blackmail Apostle Suleiman. The police also recorded her conversations making the frivolous demand. The highpoint of the drama was her attempt to withdraw money paid into her account at the instance of the police. The lawyer should know that his client was arrested by the police with abundance of evidence confirming that she is indeed a serial blackmailer.”

Shaibu also denied Keyamo’s claim of an amorous relationship and a promise to marry her, wondering how such a transaction could have taken place without any iota of evidence.

He said,

“Let me place it on record that, the lady in question is a self-confessed stripper in a nite club in Canada, who like thousands of people that seek help from Apostle Johnson Suleman, called to pretentiously convey her intentions to embrace Christ and also needed financial help to keep body and soul as she no longer had a means of livelihood after quitting as a stripper.

“Does Keyamo or his serial blackmailing client have pictures of the visit by Apostle Suleman or his representatives to her parents? In any case, how could such a relationship have existed when the Apostle and the said lady have never met physically? How could he have made a promise of a house and a lifestyle comparable to what she has in Canada when he has never been to her house or seen her physically as to have an idea of her living standards?”

According to him, Keyamo must have been misled or excited by the prospects of getting a whopping N500 million, both reasons for which two letters were written and sent to Suleman.

Nigerian Author, Chimamanda Adichie Elected Into American Academy Of Arts And Letters.

Half of a Yellow sun author, Chimamanda Adichie, will be formally inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters in May as a foreign honorary member, after she got elected into the academy.

The award winning Nigerian author, will be the second Nigerian to be inducted into the academy. Wole Soyinka was the first and he got inducted in 1986.

Chimamanda will be inducted alongside 12 others into the academy, which is an honour society whose goal is to “foster, assist, and sustain excellence” in American literature, music, and art.

The academy which holds its election once every year, currently has 250 members, a number that will be increasing with the induction of the Nigerian author and others.

An excerpt from the academy’s press release reads;

“When the American Academy of Arts and Letters holds its annual induction and award ceremony in mid-May, Calvin Trillin, secretary, will induct fourteen members into the 250-person organisation and Yehudi Wyner, president will induct three foreign honorary members.”

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted that Premier League leaders Chelsea “are almost unstoppable”.

Guardiola was speaking shortly after goals from Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane, sealed a 2-0 win over Sunderland on Sunday at the Stadium of Light.

City are now eight points behind Chelsea, who travel to West Ham on Monday night.

“It’s three more points. We are there behind, of course, Chelsea, because they are almost unstoppable,” Guardiola said.

“It’s a pity that the distance between us and Chelsea is so big.

“We started the season winning 10 games in a row, but our game was not like it is today.

“That is normal after seven or eight months together — we know each other better. I know the players better, they know me. I feel we are playing quite good.”

Guardiola also urged Sane to keep improving, if he wants to become one of the best players in the world. The Germany winger has scored six times in his last 10 games

“He is so fast and runs in behind like few players in the world,” the Spaniard said.
“But he’s just 21 years old, so the gap to become a really good player is still big. “I can say that because I was the manager of the best player in history [Lionel Messi]. That’s why I know he can improve.

“The moment he’s going to relax is going to be in another place, not on the pitch, because we want to help him. With this talent it would be a pity not to try to realise all this potential that he has.”
