A female student of Community Secondary School, Adazi-Ani in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State who was sent out of school for not paying school fees was on Monday crushed to death by a truck.
The truck said to belong to a soft drink company was said to have lost control as a result of its brake failure.
An eyewitness, Mr. Abuchi Okwara, told Punch that the JSS2 student whose name was given as Chinyere was sent out of the school by the school’s authorities over non-payment of school fees.
He said,
“They were three that were sent out of the school for not paying school fees. But Chinyere was the one that was killed by the truck”.
The incident took place at about 9 O’Clock near that bus-stop”. It was while they were heading home to get money which they were instructed to pay in the bank that she was killed while others escaped by the whiskers.

The attention of our Client, Apostle Johnson Suleman has been drawn to the online Publication by Sahara reporters. It is with utter consternation and indignation that our client received the news that one Stephanie Otobo is claiming to be his lover, after he proposed marriage to her in 2015 but later reneged. The Story was based on a purported letter written by Festus Keyamo’s Chambers.
Our Client has not received any letter from the Chambers of Keyamo or any law firm whatsoever. Therefore it is a gross violation of the natural Justice principle of audi alteram partem to embark on a media trial of our client without giving him fair hearing.
However, anytime we get a letter from Keyamo or any law firm, we shall respond appropriately and adequately without the unethical side kick of undue media attention.
For the records, our Client unequivocally denies any amorous relationship with the said Stephanie. Her claims as stated by Keyamo is vexatious, malicious and a wicked concoction from the pit of hell. As it is customary with our Client he has never had anyone-on-one encounter with the said Stephanie.
Although sometimes in 2015, after a crusade in Canada, our Client received a call from a person who introduced herself as Stephanie, and claimed to have been blessed by the spiritual ministration of our Client. After almost a year she later complained of being broke and business was not looking well and asked for financial assistance from our Client, which he obliged. Those were the only two occasions our Clients rendered financial help to her, and withdrew after some unsavoury disclosures by Stephanie and her reluctance to truly mend her ways, and embrace Christ.
It was therefore strange and gut wrenching to hear several years after from Stephanie, who in collaboration with a gang of five ,which include her Canadian based
boyfriend, Wisdom and a top ranking police officer based in Lagos State approach our Client and demanding a ransom payment of N500.milion , otherwise they threaten to provide a tell tale story of romance between our Client and Stephanie to the media and hoodwink the innocent public with the view of ridiculing our Client’s worth and integrity in the public eye.
As a principled man of God, our Client refused to budge to their cheap tantrums of blackmail, knowing full well that you cannot build something on nothing, as an amorous relationship NEVER existed between him and Stephanie.
If true that our Client proposed marriage to Stephanie and conducted a marriage introduction ceremony, we challenged her to provide evidence of the occasion, either photographs or video clips.
Who were the Family members present at the occasion? Where was the ceremony conducted?
We have since contacted the father of Stephanie, one Revered Benson Otobo, who pastors a church in Warri and have businesses in Lagos and Abuja. He described his daughter as ‘wayward and desperate to make money’ He said he was not even aware that Stephanie was in Nigeria and thoroughly denied any marriage introduction ceremony, saying that Apostle Suleman never came to his house, or family home to introduce himself as suitor to his daughter.
He emphatically disassociated himself from whatever blackmailing scheme the daughter is engaged in, ‘I want to clearly state that I am not a part of her gang of blackmailers or a party to her desperate money making scheme’
Stephanie and her gang has since been arrested by the Nigeria Police as they were also recorded on tape disclosing their links with the dreaded terrorist gang, Boko Haram. They threatened to unleash Boko Harem and kill Apostle Suleman. As agents of terrorism, the Police is investigating the depth of their involvement in the several terrorist attacks in the country.
That is beside the charges of blackmail and attempt to extort money from Apostle Suleman.
We have our Clients instruction to demand a retraction of the story from sahara reporters and publication of an apology letter seven days from today. We are also demanding one billion naira compensation as damages.

The Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, on Monday advised those bent on destabilising the country to refrain from their acts.
Mr. Buratai, a Lieutenant General, gave the advice after he received the “Millennium Hero’’ award conferred on him by a coalition of over 80 Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) at the Army Headquarters, Abuja.
The award was in recognition of Mr. Buratai’s leadership for the army in decimating and degrading Boko Haram terrorists from their strong hold in the Sambisa forest.
Mr. Buratai vowed that the agitators and those with intent to destabilise the country would not succeed as the Nigerian Army and other security agencies were ready to protect the nation from disintegration.
“Those individuals and groups that are bent on destablising our country I think they have to wait till may be the next three or four millennium for them to do that.
That is if may be the next generation of officers and men will allow them at all.
Having been given the Millennium Hero award, I want to call on all the agitators for separation and other acts of distabilisation, they better forget it, not in this era, not in this millennium,’’ Mr. Buratai said.
The army chief assured that insurgency and terrorism were now at the beginning of their end. He said the situation now signaled;
“the beginning of victory and continuous victory over all groups that are bent on destabilising the country, especially in terms of security’’.
I want to say that we would continue to do our best to maintain security atmosphere that is needed as provided for in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We have been tasked to defend our country.
We have taken a number of measures to ensure that the remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists that are on the run are finally cleared, many have surrendered, many of them have been captured.”
The answer is simple. Big Brother lacks the moral obligation to disqualify Kemen over his situation with Tboss when worse has been condoned.
The show itself reeks of immorality, period. Several acts of immorality; sexual and non sexual have been perpetrated by contestants and condoned by the organisers of the show since its inception.
But what makes this special?
Yes, ladies we agree it was a sensitive and delicate issue and in fact inexcusable, but were you expecting morality from an immoral show?
Where were you when Debby Rise violated Bassey? Or it doesn’t count when a man is the victim?
Or where was BigBrother when married TTT was being serviced by Bisola? Why didn’t BigBrother (the informant) inform her of his marital status? Maybe that just wasn’t immoral enough.
Perhaps the most hypocritical part on Big brother would have to be in 2007, remember the fingergate scandal between Richard and Ofunekka? How convenient that Big Brother even rewarded the culprit with the prize of the competition. But now disqualify Kemen for a less grievous act?
In conclusion, Big Brother Nigeria is not a reality show that prides itself over its moral standards, so to escalate this Kemen-Tboss situation to the level of disqualification was just plain hypocritical.
Especially considering that TBoss didn’t even lodge a complaint, rather BigBrother blew the whole situation out of proportion.
Kemen would henceforth be stigmatized and become victimized as a sex offender which would damage his relationship and business. He should and must sue for damages and in fact defamation of character.

The Facebook page is allegedly owned and sponsored by a Nigerian guy who is based in Malaysia. He put up a competition where he Invited ladies to upload their nude photos, and whoever has the highest likes wins N30,000. The exclusive photos sent to us shows some of the contestants who participated in the pathetic competition.
Apparently, our snitch who was a part of the group claimed many Girls partook in the competition.. and the unfortunate thing is, the owner of the Facebook Group used their nude picture to blackmail the girls.

Two American Muslim brothers have sparked outrage after they divorced their wives simply by sending them the word ‘divorce‘ three times via WhatsApp.
The men were relying on a clause in Sharia law known as ‘talaq‘, which means that men can divorce their wives simply by clearly telling them they are doing so, which they did using the app.
According to Daily Mail, Heena Fatima allegedly received the word Talaq written three times from her husband of four years Syed Fayazuddin Hussain a few weeks ago.
Hussain then sent her divorce papers to Hyderabad, in southern India, from the US, reports India Today.
Mehreen Noor, married to Hussaini’s brother Mohammad Abdul Aqeel, then received a similar message informing her that she had been divorced.
‘They (the two brothers) have made marriage a joke,’ said Mehreen.
The two women have now lodged complaints with the police, claiming that the Islamic principle allowing them to divorce them in such a way conflicts with others.
In Sharia law, talaq – roughly translated as divorce – can be declared by the man without court approval but is usually followed by a three-month period, during which time it can be revoked.
The divorce becomes official when it expires but they can still remarry, unless he repudiates her again.
However, the two brothers have used the process of ‘triple talaq’ to skip the notice period, declaring that there is no chance of reconciliation in a single message.
While the act is permitted under Sharia law it may conflict with Indian laws protecting women in the case of divorce. Not providing for the women could also conflict with other Sharia legal principles.
The news comes as the legality of ‘triple talaq’ is being considered by the Supreme Court. The court recently said that religious practice cannot override the rights of women.
Heena said:
‘Sharia law lets you divorce me, but who is going to look after our children? Doesn’t Sharia law ask of you to take care of your children?’
Mehreen has also cast doubt on her husband’s identity, claiming he may have lied to her at the time they were married.
‘I found out after marriage that my husband’s real name is Usman Qureshi. Now, without citing any reason, he has sent me divorce,’ she said in a recent report.

Justice Kikelomo Bukola Ayeye, the chief magistrate of the Lagos State Magistrate Court in Tinubu, has denied a request to remand one Wisdom Godstime and Stephanie Otobo, a lady in an explosive case who claims to have had an affair with Apostle Johnson Suleiman, founder of Omega Fire Ministry Worldwide.
The judge ruled that there is no substantial evidence to deny Stephanie her fundamental right to freedom, and hence granted her bail on liberal terms.
Justice Kikelomo said the matter was a case between two Nigerians and it did not matter if one of the parties was a man of God. She granted bail on conditions that the accused person deposit a sum of N100,000, with two sureties in like sum who must be gainfully employed.
According to SaharaReporters, in the application for remand, seen by them, the police said that Wisdom and Stephanie were suspected to have threatened and blackmailed the man of God.
Attached to the application for remand was a four-count charge of terrorism, blackmail, and extortion, including threatening “an act of terrorism, demanding property with menace with intent to steal and attempt to extort money,” at the Police College in Ikeja, Lagos on February 14.
In the second count, the police said,
Wisdom and Stephanie “…with intent to blackmail a man of God, did unlawfully demand the immediate payment of the sum of $1,000,000 (one million US dollars) to you by Apostle Suleiman, … else you will call a conference and accuse him out for committing adultery … and having an illicit relationship with her (Stephanie).”

A Kano Sharia court has remanded a nursing mother, Habiba Inusa and her 7 days old baby in prison custody for adultery.
Habiba Inusa allegedly gave birth a day after she participated alongside 1520 couples in a sponsored mass wedding by the state Government last week.
The Director General, Kano Hisbah Board, Dr. Abba Sifu in an interview with a local radio station said that the woman is currently under the custody of the court in Doguwa local government area.
Dr Sufi said that the woman was arraigned before a Shari’ah court in Doguwa local government area of Kano state for adultery and deliberate concealment of pregnancy respectively.
The Director General disclosed that government had confiscated room furniture and other items earlier given to her as benefits of mass wedding exercise.

“when the said Kamalu was invited, he confessed to have slept with the woman some months ago.”
He said the court had also invited her parents for explanation over the unfortunate incident.

About a year ago, 28-year old Olajumoke Orisaguna was known merely as a bread seller on the streets of Lagos not until one photo shoot turned things around for her.
She was discovered by professional photographer, TY Bello while she was on her daily business of hawking bread on the streets. She now has a comfortable home with her family, she is brand ambassador, a model etc.

Ms. Otobo, who says she’s just a young girl of twenty-three (23) years old, and doesn’t know Barr. Festus Keyamo from anywhere, revealed that some gullible individuals are out to make money from the innocent man of God (Apostle Johnson Suleiman); using her as a bait.
The lady who expressed shock over the media propaganda being championed by Sahara Reporters, said that the #500M claims is such a huge sum to come about. She further revealed that she’s from a broken home, and her separated parents can never dream of pulling just 1% of such an amount in a very long time.
While refuting the allegations made against Apostle Johnson Suleiman by Festus Keyamo on her behalf, Stephanie Otobo is calling on Nigerians of good will to discard the earlier media propaganda by Sahara Reporters and consider same as totally false and untrue.
