According to reports by PUNCH.. Lagos House of Representatives will be giving a special recognition to the Ayodele Dada for his exceptional academic performance at the University of Lagos.
Dada, who studied Psychology, made history by graduating with a 5.0 CGPA and so far, he had been awarded with several cash prizes, employment offers and even an apartment from Sujimoto.
The House of Rep stated that it hopes the recognition ceremony would help other students to be encouraged by the inspirational achievement of Dada.
Ayo will be reportedly ushered into the House to sit among members for a special recognition. A senior legislative official confirmed the ceremony in Abuja on Monday, “he will be ushered in and a motion will be moved to honour the young man, during which members will speak on Dada’s achievement.”
The Leader of the House, Mr Femi, has also written to inform the lawmakers about the need to honour Dada. The letter urged members to applaud Dada’s dedication at a time of national “despondency”.
Gbajabiamila also stated that Ayo’s story was compelling and inspirational to the youth, adding that he represents and mirrors the hope of the country’s tomorrow.
The recognition ceremony was scheduled for today March 22 but the House postponed it because it would not be sitting.

Nigerian singer Nomoreloss (Olumuyiwa Osinuga) died this morning, leaving behind a wife and a daughter.
Nomoreloss got married to Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP Phoenix (Adeola Osinuga) in 2008.
They had their daughter, Mo, on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Phoenix has another son from an earlier relationship aged 15-16.
Sometime ago, they were reports that their marriage crashed but Nomoreloss in an interview with Encomium, reacted saying:
“I think that is where communication comes to play. My wife has radio shows, fund raising events and her own club. That is why people could ask where is your wife when they see us apart. They assume there must be a fight. But those who know us very well will tell you that we get along fine being at two different places at the same time. I have had cases where reporters have not properly investigated a story before publication.”
His daughter celebrated her fifth birthday this year, and Phoenix held a little birthday party for her.
According to several reports, singer Nomoreloss has passed on after battling an undisclosed illness since January 2016.
Multiple sources have confirmed the sad news – stating that the talented vocalist known for hits like ‘Iyawo Asiko’ and ‘Let them say’, died this morning at an undisclosed hospital in Opebi, Ikeja Lagos.
Further investigations revealed that the entertainer had been sick since January.

News reports have revealed that Ibinabo Fiberesima was allegedly banned from seeing the late doctor, Dr Suraj’s family.
Ibinabo who was prosecuted for killing, Dr. Suraj in an accident 7 years ago on the Lekki/Epe Expressway, is set to spend 5 years in jail for it.
The actress who is presently recovering from a medical procedure which saw a tumour being removed from her breast revealed that the family had banned her from ever reaching out to them.
“I don’t have a relationship with the family,” she said in a recent interview.
“They banned me from coming to see them. I used to visit the mother, but they warned me to stop coming to their house. So, I can only pray for them and that’s what I did always.”

Less than two weeks after a building under construction by Lekki Gardens collapsed, killing no fewer than 35 people, Lagos State Govt says stability tests on buildings constructed by the building company to ascertain their structural integrity have commenced.
According to the acting General Manager of the Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory, Rasheed Balogun, the test is to ascertain the ‘liveability status’ of all buildings constructed by Lekki Gardens.
He said the tests would be non-destructive test and partial destructive in some cases. It would also be extended to other construction sites and estates within and around the Lekki area to confirm their status.
According to Mr Balogun, the tests will be conducted on some buildings without sending away the occupants in the Lekki Gardens Estate in order not to cause them discomfort. However, he said vacating the structures was the best option and would speed up the testing process.
He urged the occupiers of structures within the Lekki Gardens Estate, to comply with the vacation order of the governor, and vacate the buildings until investigations were completed.

Delectable Nigerian Songwriter and record producer, Oluwaseyi Joshua popularly known as Seyi Shay says she doesn’t really know Tiwa Savage personally.
Responding to a question about her relationship with the Mavin Records queen on Channels Television, Seyi Shay said “I don’t really know her”.
She acknowledged that she had met Tiwa Savage before, but told Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’ Minds that she does not really know her personally.

According to punch newspaper, the photographer sued the couple and one Mr. Anthonio Anifite before Justice Mohammed Idris of a Federal High Court in Lagos.
He alleged that the defendants made use of some photographs he took at the traditional wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Idibia in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in 2013 without duly attributing the works to him or acknowledging him contrary to an alleged agreement.
The photographer,claimed that the defendants wrote ‘2faceonline.com’ across 148 out of the 355 high-resolution photographs he took at the couple’s wedding and uploaded them on 2face’s official website, thereby denying him credit and referral opportunities.
He claimed that days after the wedding, Annie called him on the telephone requesting copies of the wedding photographs and that upon sending them to her, Annie complained about the watermark of Papilomenxy studios reflecting on them.
According to the photographer, Annie later sent the 2nd defendant to negotiate with the photographer on the terms that the photographs should be released without watermarks.
The photographer claimed to have then released 355 high-resolution photographs from the wedding to Anifite free of charge on the agreement that whenever and wherever they were used, the copyright would be credited to his company.
He, however, claimed that the defendants breached the terms of the signed agreement and went ahead to write ‘2faceonline.com’ across 148 of the photographs that they uploaded on 2face’s official website.
The photographer, who described himself as “a certified film maker from the prestigious London Film Academy” and an holder of a Masters of Arts degree from Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, South Wales, United Kingdom, claimed to have suffered general and exemplary damages for which he is seeking N120m compensation from 2face, Annie and Anifite.
But the defendants have not only urged Justice Idris to dismiss the photographer’s suit but they also filed a counterclaim wherein they demanded N150m damages from him and his studio.
They claimed that the photographer crashed into the venue of their traditional wedding, took pictures and circulated same for commercial gains without their permission.
They claimed that he was not invited but was just “one of the numerous photographers and pseudo-professionals and artisans, who invaded the venue of the ceremonies to eke out a living for themselves without prior consultation with or the consent of the celebrants.”
They claimed that soon after their wedding, they noticed some strange versions of their wedding pictures circulating online with Papilonmexy studio watermark and after painstaking findings, they traced them to the photographer.
They claimed that upon locating the photographer and expressing their displeasure, he pleaded with them while lamenting that he was hard hit by a downturn in the still photography business and sought any future engagement with them.
They claimed that the photographer forced the photographs on them, saying he wanted to leverage on their popularity to get referrals.
They, however, claimed that they told him categorically that the only condition on which they could accept the photographs was for him to remove the watermarks of his company, which he allegedly agreed to.”

l was just wondering is it possible for a manhood to grow after puberty.I mean im 19 now ,and going to be 20 in a few months, i have seen this mentioned somehwere before, but not sure is it possible for me to add at least a little but more length or girth maybe. or maybe you guys heard of cases when guys manhood were still growing in their early 20′? maybe there is some thing i can take, or some kind of exercises that i can do to maybe help this process, not like manhood enlargement pills cuz i know those really don’t work. let me just say im about 3″ hard right now, and let me tell you its killing me.

According to the report, a trailer crushed a keke passenger at Abattoir Road in Agege, Lagos, after the deceased who has been identified as Isa Sanni, fell out of the tricycle and was run over by the approaching truck. PUNCH reports that the incident happened around 2pm on Saturday. The truck driver, Emmanuel George, was almost lynched by a mob before he was rescued by the police, and also the late Sanni was among the three passengers of the keke.
Speaking with the press yesterday, an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, said, “There were two vehicles involved in the accident – a trailer, with number plate, LSR 615 XB, and a tricycle, with number plate, GGE 393 QC.”
“The trailer was coming from the Abule Egba area and heading towards the Total area, while the tricycle rider, who had three passengers, rode out from an access road onto the highway,” he continued. “The rider of the tricycle ran into the path of the trailer, which hit it. The victim fell onto the road in the process and as he struggled to get out, the trailer’s tyres climbed his head.”
“The trailer driver was unaware of the accident, until he heard the noise that somebody had been killed,” he said, adding, that a mob dragged the driver out and the vehicle was vandalised. “There were people everywhere and it took the intervention of the police to prevent a total breakdown of law and order. The deceased’s family members later showed up,” he added.
Confirming the arrest to PUNCH, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, also said Sanni’s corpse has been deposited in a morgue. confirming the incident, said the remains of the deceased had been deposited in a morgue.
“We discovered that the driver of the truck, who works with a firm, CY Inc Ltd, Ijanikin, hit the tricycle in the Nitel area, on the Abattoir Road,” she said. “Sanni, who is aged 30 years, died on the spot and we have taken his corpse to the morgue of a general hospital in the state for autopsy.”
The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Police at the weekend paraded a nurse, Mrs Chibuzor Okoye, for selling a baby belonging to a 17- year-old girl, Miss Tessy Obianua, to a couple in Onitsha, Anambra State, for the sum of N500,000.
The State Commissioner for Police, Mrs. Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison said five persons were involved in the case. According to her, Tessy fell a victim of a specialized child trafficker, Mrs. Chibuzor Okoye, who convinced her to sell the baby to Mr. and Mrs. Sunday Kalu, who were desperately looking for a baby.
She said the police got a tip about the matter when Tessy’s father, Mr. Henry Obianu, who lives at Ogbese in Akure North Local Government Area of the state reported that his daughter was missing with her pregnancy to the police.
According to her father, Tessy ran away with her pregnancy in January last year but later re-appeared in May without the baby or pregnancy. After more pressure about the whereabout of the baby from Tessy, she was said to have confessed to one of her uncles that she sold the baby to a couple in Onitsha.
The Police investigation also revealed that Tessy was lured to Onitsha by her father’s neighbour in Ogbese, simply identified as Mr. Jude Azuka.
It was learnt that at the time Tessy was declared missing at home, she was taking to Onitsha by Azuka to Okoye’s house who helped her to nurse her pregnancy until she delivered.
The Police boss said “through investigation to Onisha, the police arrested Okoye, at No. 3, Tonny Olisa street Awada in Onitsha, who specialized in child trafficking.
“It was Okoye, who sold the said baby girl to the couple at No. 8, Uzogwu street Onitsha at the sum of N500,000.
“She claimed to have given Jude the sum of N200,000 out of which Jude claimed to have bought clothes and shoes to Tessy and also gave her N30,000.
“Mrs. Chibuzor thereafter forced Tessy, to sign an undertaking that she would never come back for the baby”.
Ibifuro-Harrison, however, urged parents to be wary of the antics of criminal elements, who act friendly around their wards.
