“Take a break from your ‘serious’ relationship if you are not financially buoyant” – Actor, Deyemi Okanlawon advises

Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has advised people to avoid getting into a committed relationship if they are not financially stable.

He stated this in a tweet shared via his Twitter handle on Tuesday, March 28. According to Deyemi, people should take a break from their ‘serious’ relationships if they are struggling financially to build themselves.

The movie star advised such people, both men and women, to focus on developing themselves first before getting into a serious relationship.

Deyemi tweeted,

“If you’re not yet financially buoyant perhaps it is wise take a break from “serious” relationship and focus on building yourself… this message from the federal association of common sense is for men & women #openletter #butwhatdoiknow

Everyone should feel free to love and date anyone at any time/stage of their lives if they so choose… but perhaps for more serious (intentional, committed) relationships you may want to approach things slightly different? 💁‍♀️

See his tweet below,

A while back, Deyemi Okanlawon opined that having sex four times a week is not enough for a married couple.

He made this assertion in a recent interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa, after she complained that making love four times a week feels like a chore.

Deyemi, who is married with two children, reiterated that couples should prioritize sex in their marriage and, if possible, sleep with each other every day.

He did, however, clarify that there is no hard and fast rule for how frequently couples should get intimate, as there may be times when they go weeks without sex.

Lady recounts giving her man money after he lost his job, only for him to end up cheating on her

Financial support is one of the most crucial things you can provide for someone you love. It helps them through tough times and shows that you care, but what happens when that support is taken for granted or even abused?

A Nigerian lady recently shared her experience of supporting her man financially after he lost his job, only for him to use it to cheat on her with other women.

The businesswoman, identified as Queen Ufuoma, in a Twitter thread, recalled how the man’s business crashed and he lost his job about the same time.

Ufoma said she always sent him airtime so he could stay in touch at all times and not be stranded, but she later discovered that he was using the same money she gave him to take care of other women.

She claimed the incident happened three years ago, and she ended up ending the relationship.

However, two months after she ended things with him, he unashamedly asked her for money. She said she sent N20k to him and blocked his contact afterward.

Read her full story below,

“He lost everything, his job, business, etc he wanted to start all over, didn’t have the means, he told me the amount he needed for a fresh start, I gave him 75% of the total amount, consistently sent him airtime so he won’t be stranded, dude used the money to flex with different women, got a baby out of it, I silently walked away, barely two months later, he called me to tell me he’s not eaten since yesterday and doesn’t know who else to turn to for help, I still sent him 20k then I blocked him.

Three yrs later, he’s using another number to contact me to tell me the baby wasn’t his, the “baby mama” just wanted money, he demanded for a DNA test and she skipped town. All I said was “sorry about that” then I blocked him.

Baba dey my telegram dey chat with himself everyday as we speak. All my friends can confirm how generous I am, sometimes they wanna borrow money but instead I tell them not to pay back, some borrow and don’t pay back, na recently I enter wickedness phase of being stingy and it has been sweet, I’ll leave the phase when I know someone is worthy of my generosity.

In addition, he told me he knows I was trying to use money to trap him into marrying me. Like I said, men love gold diggers when they have gold.”

“Why I don’t enjoy kissing on set” – Actress, Nancy Isime

Popular Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has corrected the notion that actors enjoy kissing scenes when shooting movies.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Dadaboy, Nancy Isime noted that while many people have the misconception that actors and actresses enjoy sensual scenes, they treat them as mere scripts.

She explained that even though it looks good on screen, she never actually enjoys it on set.

“Well, it’s a script, and Yes, I do kiss in movies. But Why will I enjoy it? 5,000 people around you. Enjoy what? I never enjoy doing nothing. There’s cameras around, it’s a scene.

I prefer to actually have kissing scenes with seasoned actors who understand the professionalism of a kissing scene or a sex scene. ‘Sex’ scene of course because everybody is all dressed up but there is movement.

So there’s literally people who understand the job and are focused and are literally just running through a script.

Asked if she would go Sharon Stone, Halle Berry kinda topless for a movie, Nancy Isime said,

“I don’t know. I don’t know, that’s the truth. I don’t know. I’ve not been met with that kind of script. It has to be for a scene that is probably not sexual. Probably something that maybe something is happening. Like Blood Sisters now. [Something like] there’s a killer coming so there’s too much suspense for you to even look at my breast. Do you understand?

Let me tell you something: look at Blood Sisters. They saw the side of my boob, that is enough for them to say “oh look at that scene”, but nobody talked about it because the next thing fiam fiam, it’s too much, that’s what I’m saying. That kind of scenario where it’s totally necessary. But for a sex scene, I can depict sex without you know, body being open.”

I said hi to him and he said…Oh his manager liked me a lot in the house and she would like to manage me. I told him to let me think about it and I’ll call him in a few days. I did call him back a few days to ask for her number.

Is that what you did for me? You asked me if I’m mad…I’m not the one screaming at a microphone like a lunatic talking down on a woman because she gave you the training you refused to get at home. You should prove your insanity to the entire internet. I’m not the mad one here boo.

PS: calling me little or small doesn’t make you big, you are on the ground, and you are nothing in the grand scheme of things. Your micro-bladed brows look good though, I’ll consider getting one.” She wrote.

“You announced that you were getting a divorce on Instagram just to create buzz for your show only to come back to say it was a prank. Don’t you think it’s better to claim your wife’s achievement than tell the whole world that your don’t rate your wife? Shameless føøl.” She replied.

“If he introduces you to his friends and family, he is in love” – Clergywoman Laurie Idahosa tells women

Clergywoman, Laurie Idahosa, has taken to social media to share some characters men exhibit when they are in love.

According to her, if a man protects his woman, cares for her, introduces her to his family and friends, plans his future with her in it, and at the same time sends her good morning and good night messages, that man is in love.

She wrote,

“Certain actions speak much louder than the words “I love you.” If he protects you, cares for you, caters to your needs, plans his future around you, introduces you to his friends and family and makes sure he sends you the good morning/ good night messages, that man is in love!”

In related news, Laurie Idahosa affirmed that there’s nothing wrong with a married woman ordering food from vendors for her family.

She continued by saying there are no gender restrictions in the kitchen.

Her words,

“Yes, and there’s no shame in it. If you don’t like the food I ordered, feel free to cook. Kitchens don’t have a gender.”

“Who we go believe?” – Netizens reacts as old interview of Basketmouth saying colleague ‘AY messed with loyalty’ resurfaces (Watch)

There are always two sides to every story, and the cause of the 17-year-old rift between Nigerian ace comedians AY and Basketmouth is no exception.

Comedian AY caused a buzz on the internet over the weekend after he opened up about his age-long feud with Basketmouth in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

During the interview, AY narrated how Basketmouth betrayed him in 2006.

He recalled how Basketmouth used to connect him with events when he was starting out in the comedy industry, and how a particular event sparked the rift that has lingered on to this day.

“In 2006, (Basketmouth) usually will get gigs Iike weddings- multiple gigs on a Saturday, maybe 2/3 weddings. So what he used to do at that point in time was to attend one, then at a point, leave the venue and catch up in the other venue and then you will need someone else to stand in for you. That was the opportunity 1 got from him of which I am very appreciative of till date.

“Now, Something funny happened. One of the gigs per say, I got his endorsement to go stand in. Usually what we get at that time is N30,000 and 30,000 at that time was everything to me. 30,000 would buy me my pack of indomie, recharge cards, fuel for my 1 better pass my neighbor generator and then opportunity to pay just one or two people to join me to do one or two skits that I can just quickly put out…” He said in part. However, while AY stated in the interview with Chude that Basketmouth betrayed him, an old video of Basketmouth telling his own side of the story—which appears to be different—has now resurfaced.

Basketmouth, who gave his own account of what transpired in an old chat with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, claimed it was AY who messed with loyalty.

According to Basketmouth, he had confided in AY about something in the past, but AY shared that information with a third party without his consent, and this broke his trust.

“Why I lied that Philip was my boyfriend” – Viral ex-corps member opens up

Innocent Ruth, a former Corps member who went viral after she shared photos of herself and a tall male colleague alleging he was her lover, has spoken on why she made the false claim

Ruth had taken to Facebook on Tuesday, March 14, to share photos of herself and Philip that were taken at the Bayelsa State orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps and claimed they were lovers.

According to her, they met at the orientation camp and began dating afterward.

Ruth’s post garnered a lot of attention on social media due to the difference in their heights. Many gushed over the love story and congratulated Ruth on finding love.

In a quite shocking twist, Nigerians woke up on Sunday to the disclaimer of the young man in the photo, Philip Ayobami, denying being in a relationship with Ruth.

He tagged Ruth as a clout chaser and asked her to delete her previous post or face legal action.

Following the disclaimer, Ruth took to her Facebook page to admit that she lied and that there was no relationship between her and Philip.

Speaking on why she put up the post, she said she just wanted to see people’s reactions given the buzz their heights generated at the orientation camp.

She clarified that she didn’t make the post for clout or attention and was just having fun.

“Just because Akande Phillip Ayobami posted a disclaimer all of a sudden he is the good guy and I’m the villain. Its okay though, i understand the “social media” i did not expect less. Before I started all this I know what I was opting for, I can’t go into too much details, it would be cumbersome. Anyways, yes, Philip isn’t my boyfriend, but after I came up with this and posted it I told him everything n how we have to play along for some time to see/hear what people will say, he accepted it all,I asked him if he has a girlfriend he said “No, he never sounded like it will ever be an issue for him, I know he isn’t my boyfriend, was never my boyfriend either.

That kind height habah na, lol! una wan kill me, as i dey for ground so?.😂 this whole thing was supposed to be a show, it was an idea i came up with while in NYSC Camp. seeing the contrast in our height, we had lots of attetion in camp, so i thought i could come up with something about this, though not in this manner. The original idea was to write a script, a story about a tall girl and a short guy. I’m an actress, a showbiz person, and you know how it is with us and show, its okay if you don’t understand.

When i came up with this and posted it, the mistake i made was not call the above mentioned man. I just wanted to have fun from seeing peoples reactions and comments, I did not even think the whole thing will move this fast, at least not as fast as it did, but when it did, i had to keep up with it. When Phillip saw it has gone viral he called n asked me to bring the post down,I told him the post will be brought down but not immediately because the aim at which the post was made has not been accomplished, The post was never made against his will we got talking about all this, eventhough he showed resentment, he wasnt even certain about not going on with or not, it was more like he liked the idea, but something was holding him back which he did not say at first. but later on he mentions something about that fact that i have a boyfriend already and he might not get any girl that would want to date him again, i told him my boyfriend doesnt even know about this, that my boyfriend really thinks i have left him and I’m engaged. He said some other things and we just laughed about it.

His response wasn’t a definite yes or no, the only thing i know he didn’t want to do was the interviews.
In a nutshell, all this wasnt real, you may want to call it fake news as he did or whatever. Still mr. Phillip I’m sorry for first starting this before letting you know. You fit talk say i no be your friend, but the moments in the pictures says otherwise, and you be my guy last last. And yeah, he had moments like this with other girls too. And to the bloggers and all the news agencies i made believe, I’m sorry too. And to the social media world and my small fans wey i get, I’m sorry guys.

In all, this, Like Rema said, “criuse no dey finish inside this country” so in all lets just stay safe have fun and be happy. cheer. PS: i didn’t do that because i wanted attention, if you know me on a personal note, i be vibe myself, my height, my charisma and confidence, gives me enough attention, and i know its just a matter of time, things go aline and all of una go dey feel my vibe. I love you all.” She wrote on Facebook.

Amid their fight, Etinosa took to social media to accuse Victoria of speaking loosely on social media despite not having the boldness to confront people in public.

Speaking in a video, she said,

“You see that Victoria Inyama likes to misyarn. She likes to misbehave. And the most annoying part of everything is that If she sees White Money now, she will not be able to open her mouth to talk.

“I saw her in London last year, November. This woman denied everything she was saying about me. All of them know how to sit down behind and be typing nonsense.”

In reaction to Etinosa’s remark, Victoria called her out for being two-faced as she claimed that she (Etinosa) contacted their male colleague, Nosa Rex, and another lady to apologize on her behalf.

She also posted a voice note of Etinosa apologizing for her statement, while stating that she was only catching cruise in the video.

“Hmmmm… u saw me in an event. You called @babarex0 and another lady to apologize to me… But you do this then say it’s cruise?” she wrote.

She also spoke about how the standards and qualities that were once valued in men, such as being God-fearing, tall, and attractive have all been compromised.
