Woman who foretold AKA’s demise two years ago makes prediction on Tems and American rapper, Future

According to her, Nigeria’s Tems will tame Future into marital submission.

“Why I will not respond to anyone publicly is because if I do, she will further run mad since the symptoms have started already. If she runs mad I don’t know who will take care of her sister child, so let us please allow her and her family be for the interest of her mental state. But for me, I will not marry her even as second wife.” He said.

Actor Ime Bishop blasts men who use their partners to relocate and abandon them

Popular actor and comedian, Ime Bishop Umoh better known as Okon Lagos, has lampooned men who abandon their lovers after collecting their money to relocate.

Reacting to the viral news of the man who married someone else after his girlfriend gave him her savings to travel abroad, he referred to them as weak men.

According to him, the traditional role of a man was to provide and protect his woman and any man who failed as such was not a real man.

He wrote;

“Generation of weak men! If she wasn’t good enough for you to marry, keep as wife and flaunt, then her money to you for relocation abroad shouldn’t have been good enough as well. Taking advantage of one’s vulnerability is very undue, immoral and cowardly!
I’m not in a place to determine absolute rightness or wrongness of actions and inactions. I am simply opining that one should not use another.
If you are man, be a man. The traditional gender role of a man is tied to provision and protection.
It’s not a woman’s traditional responsibility to do that. If she does, then it is a privilege and not a right. If you can’t provide for and protect yourself and all of yours (your woman primarily included), then you aren’t a real man! You are merely a male human being. It is very disgraceful, cowardly and weak for a man to cede his core, traditional, gender role(s) to a woman and worse off in doing so, you fool her in the process just because she is vulnerable! That’s so low bro.”

“I’m not a prostitute, I post s3xual things just to trend”- Esther Sky

Nigerian actress and Instagram slay queen, Esther Nwachukwu known as Esther Skyy, has stated that she does not indulge in prostitution as she leads her followers to believe.

During an interview with The Punch, she revealed that she posts overtly sexual content on social media just to be popular.

Esther also stated that she auditioned for Big Brother Naija six times and participated in several film auditions, but if one does not have a connection or is prepared to pay for roles, one may not become a celebrity.

She said;

“I am not a prostitute. I just decided to become controversial because I wanted to trend. I have been to so many auditions, but in the end, if one does not have money to produce one’s own movie or pay directors to give one a lead role, one would keep being a ‘handbag’ (being relegated). That is not what I want. I have auditioned for Big Brother Nigeria more than six times. I even got to the final stage but they did not pick me.
“I have also been in Nollywood with nothing to show for it. It is either the director wants to sleep with one in exchange for a role, or one had to pay money, which I considered to be nonsense. That was why I decided to become controversial.”

The actress also stated that she is not in a relationship with a married man, but she would date one if the opportunity arose since they are more compassionate than bachelors.

“I am not dating a married man but if I see one, I will date him. They (married men) are less stressed and they take care of women better than single guys. If a married man has a girlfriend, he would take care of the girl. But, single guys have divided attention; they are always jumping from one woman to the other”“It depends on how one handles it. One just has to respect the boundaries, and don’t interfere in his marriage. As a ‘side chic’, one should not call him when he is at home. As long as he is taking care of one, one does not need to blackmail him with his family. It is when one disrespects the family that it becomes dangerous.
Whether I date a married man or not, a side chic will date my husband. It is normal. It is the nature of men to cheat. The important thing is for him to respect me”,

she added.

2face opens up on the difficulty of being a celebrity and how it affects his marriage

Veteran Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba has opened up on the difficulties that come with being a star and how it has affected his marriage.

Speaking with Sun newspaper, he revealed that as a celebrity, it was impossible to discern if people genuinely care about you or are simply attempting to use you.

The singer stated that, aside from those he met when he had nothing, he had to be cautious of people he met after he got famous since one cannot be assured of the motivation behind their connection.

He bemoaned that people forget celebrities are human and want them to constantly be on their best behavior.

He said;

“Most times you don’t have the ability to know somebody that genuinely cares about you, apart from the people you knew right from the time you started, when there was nothing. As a celebrity, most of the people I meet are those who I know through my celebrity status. So, you have to be careful because you don’t know the motive people have against you.
Sometimes people see me and make nasty comments. I would just turn around and ignore it. Many times, people forget that being a celebrity doesn’t mean you are not human.
Sometimes, I might just be in a bad mood and I’m probably at an airport. I might just want to walk straight into my flight quietly and people would be calling me for photographs. And, if I fail to do that and keep walking, they will tell me to go to hell; after all, my music is not good enough. On many occasions, some (Area) boys would ask, ‘Tubaba, is there anything for the boys’ and if I give them N1,000, they’ll say ‘Tubaba, you are bigger than that’. There are also other funny comments that I try to ignore.”

Addressing his marriage with his wife, the father of seven revealed that he had to change after marriage.
According to him, he no longer works late and must now return home to his wife and children. He also stated that he no longer parties as much as he used to. 2face also stated that he was initially opposed to getting married but eventually changed his mind.
In his words;

“To be frank, I was thinking that I would not marry. There was a time I said that I was not going to get married; but once the thought came, I decided to marry the woman who has been there for me when I had nothing.
And oh, I am happier than before. At least, I am more responsible now. When I was a bachelor, I could go out and come back anytime I wanted. But now, I cannot do that again. Now, once I am done with the day’s work, I have to go back home to my wife and kids. And then, the way I party before has reduced because I am married and getting older as well. Now as a married man, I have a sense of responsibility. I now know that I need to consult my wife before doing certain things, unlike before.”

Chrisland: “Whitney changed the course of my life” – Father of late 12-year-old student says in heartbreaking phone conversation with school principal (Listen)

An alleged phone conversation between the principal of Chrisland Schools in Lagos and the father of Whitney Adeniran, the 12-year-old student who died during the school’s inter-house sports, is making the rounds online.

In the heartbreaking audio recording, the bereaved father is heard pleading with the principal, whom he identified as Mrs. Amowo, to tell him the truth about what led to his daughter’s death so that he may find closure on the tragic incident.

The heartbroken father noted that his family is his priority on his vision board, and he made sure to give them everything, including sending them to the best schools, because he grew up without a family.

He said his main goal was to raise a beautiful family, and he achieved that with the birth of Whitney, who, according to him, changed the course of his life and made him a man.

He said it’s disheartening that he lost her and pleaded with the principal to open up to him about what led to her death and stop trying to protect the integrity of the school.

The principal, however, insisted that she isn’t hiding anything and really does not know more than what she was told by witnesses: that Whytney slumped.

Listen to the audio below,

This comes after an alleged Chrisland student claimed in a viral audio recording that Whitney Adeniran died from electrocution and did not slump, as the school claimed.

The yet-to-be identified student who made this claim in a trending audio said that contrary to the school’s claim that Whitney slumped, she died after mistakenly touching a naked wire from a cotton candy vending machine.

“We went for inter-house sport and in my own school, we do go to the stadium. In the stadium, there are machines like cotton candy vendor machine, popcorn machine and stuff like that.

Her mouth was foaming; her veins were popping. Her tongue just disappeared, they now poured water on her and took her to the back, and then they took her to the hospital,” the purported student said in the audio.

Netizens have called the attention of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to a birthday surprise video making rounds on social media.

To top it all off, the boyfriend surprised her with a huge money cake, a money bouquet, and a box filled with cash.

The lady was so excited when she was led into the hotel room where the gifts were waiting for her that she began screaming and jumping for joy.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions online as some netizens gushed over the luxury gifts, and praised the man for spoiling his girlfriend.

However, some made jokes about calling the attention of the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the video as money bouquet was recently listed as a form of naira abuse.

It would be recalled that in line with the new naira policy, money bouquet, spraying, selling, squeezing the naira note has been banned in Nigeria, and Nigerians have been encouraged to report anyone found guilty to CBN.

In the light of this, people trooped to the comment section of the post to joke about tagging CBN.

Comedian, Basketmouth replies follower who questioned him for choosing to travel out of the country instead of staying to vote

Ace Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has replied to a follower who accused him of neglecting his civic duties.

It all started when Basketmouth, who is currently in Europe ahead of his tour and will remain there until after the general elections in Nigeria, took to his Instagram page to share photos of himself and his colleague Buchi.

“The Man in Manchester. #BasketmouthUnprovokedTour”, he captioned the post.

See below,

Reacting to the post, a follower pointed out that both of their votes would be lost because of their decision to leave the country at this time.

“We have lost two votes like this”, the follower wrote.

Basketmouth simply responded to the attack by asking the follower to focus on the real issue that Nigeria is facing while highlighting the estimated number of Nigerians who have relocated abroad in search of greener pastures.

“Have you counted the Nigerians that Japa’d. They’re in millions. So, my brother focus on the real problem. I came here for work.” He wrote.

See their exchange below,

This comes after Basketmouth was dragged to filth on social media for fixing his UK tour on election day, February 25.

Basketmouth posted the schedule of his upcoming UK tour on his social media page recently, and the date for his appearance in Hamburg clashes with the presidential election.

This didn’t sit well with a lot of people who didn’t hesitate to lambaste him for fixing his show on a day that would decide the future of Nigeria.

A Twitter user also dug out his old tweet where he criticized his colleagues who were outside the country during the 2015 presidential election, and called out his hypocrisy.

Basketmouth, who was unfazed by the backlash, explained that he has been hosting his UK tour in February for years, and it’s only logical for him to host 2023’s tour in February as well.

He added that the electoral body, INEC, should have consulted him first before fixing the election in February because he picked the month first.

In his response that seemed like satire, Basketmouth wrote,

“I’ve been hosting my UK tour every February for the past 12yrs. Interestingly, there have been times when the elections coincided with my shows.

Unfortunately, INEC has never deemed it fit to check with me before fixing the date for the elections. Since I picked February to host my tour first, I think it’s only fair for me to go ahead with the dates. Thank you. Please don’t forget to buy tickets “
