A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to reveal why he occasionally stops his wife from paying a visit to her parents.

The man, identified as Oistien van Mowo, explained that his wife had formed the habit of visiting her mother all the time because they live in the same city.

According to him, whenever he travels out of town for the weekend, his wife usually grabs the opportunity to visit her parents.

Mowo, who describes himself as a traditional man, said the frequent visits didn’t sit well with him so he decided to halt the visits.

He said he has stopped her on a few occasions, and it’s his own way of creating balance in his home.

“I have stopped my wife once or twice from visit her parent. Her mum lives in same city as we do, the first time of stopping her from going was because she was making it too frequent and any time I am out of town over the weekend she’s ready to run off. Trying to cut a daughter off from her parent is different to trying to balance things in your home,” he tweeted.

The lady, identified as @ruets4, had posted a photo of her holding a baby with a sexually-motivated caption which many found offensive to the child and its father.

“Chilling with his cum”, the young lady wrote in the post that has gone viral and amassed thousands of reactions.

The controversial tweet has sparked mixed reactions online as many criticized the lady for using a degrading word to describe the child, while a few others said they like her sense of humour.

A Nigerian lady has gone online to call out her father for allegedly sexually molesting and physically abusing her for years.

In a lengthy post shared on Twitter, the lady with handle @justsotired__ relayed the bad experiences she suffered at her father’s hand, and disclosed that he started molesting her at an early age.

She said when she reported him to the police at age 14, her father turned the police against her and she was locked up in a cell for a week.

She further disclosed that she had to drop out of university because her father insisted that she meets him in a hotel for sex before he would pay her school fees.

The aggrieved lady went on to call out her mother for not protecting her amid all the woes, and accused her of being jealous of her and her younger sibling.

Speaking further, the lady called her father a pedophile and said he deserves death penalty for all the bad things he put her through.

Big Brother Naija star Bamike Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as BamBam, has recounted her traumatic childhood experience.

The reality TV star and mother of two, in a quite touching video she shared online, disclosed that she was sexually abused as a child by her nanny.

She said the abuse happened from the age of 2 until she was 8, and she couldn’t confide in her parents because the nanny threatened her.

According to her, the abuse left her with trauma that she still has to deal with now that she is married.

She explained that the nanny used to make her suck her breasts and masturbate with her fists.

Speaking further, BamBam revealed that she was raped a few times by men she dated in the past.

“I Was Abused by a Nanny as a child between the ages of 2-8. she used my fist to masturbate and forced me to suck her breast while at it, it has affected me in different ways , I have also been raped a few times as a young girl, I wasn’t ready to have sex with some of the guys I dated in the past, so they forced themselves on me. durring sex some things trigger trauma I didn’t know wasn’t dealt with, I have gotten help, I still get help.

Popular media personality, Denrele Edun has shared a heartbreak experience he had on Valentine’s Day.

Speaking during an interview with Hawa Magaji, on ‘Who is in My House’ show, Denrele said his ex-girlfriend dumped him on February 14th around 3 am and explained to him that she cannot love him the way he loves her.

The actor disclosed that they remain friends to this day since it was a personal choice he made to keep in touch with people he has dated.

Denrele said;

“I was jilted on Valentine’s Day. At about 3 am in the morning, the person told me that she could not love me back the way I loved her. I replied that I could still love her, but I would let her go. I always remain friends with all the people I have been involved with (romantically) over the years.”

He also mentioned his sense of style in clothing and lamented the fact that despite the length of time he has spent working in the industry, people still criticize him for it.

300-level Industrial Design student commits suicide in FUTA, Ondo state

A 300-level student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State, Oluwapelumi Joseph Olona has committed suicide.

The industrial design student hanged himself in his room at an off-campus guesthouse in the Aule district of Akure city using buckets.

His body was found in the early hours of Saturday, January 21, after his close friends forced his room door open.

According to sources, his friends were uneasy when he failed to answer his phone calls and refused to open the door despite repeated knocks at his door.

“Upon gaining entry, his body was discovered hanging with the buckets used to aid his legs.” the source revealed.

Although the reason for his action was not yet known, students in the area where he resided suggested that it may be related to his struggles with depression and money problems.

The event was verified in a statement by Jesunifemi Asoore, president of the students’ union, FUTASU.

“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our colleague and friend, Olona Joseph Oluwapelumi, popular known as Tart Angle. who passed away on Sat 21st Jan
2023.
According to the report, His death was confirmed in the early hour of Saturday 21st of January 2023. The deceased, identified as Olona Joseph a 300L student from the department of Industrial Design was reported to have committed suicide by hanging himself in the early hour of today.

I know we are all saddened by his death, and we’re sending our condolences to his family and friends. Death can be difficult for us to understand, especially when it is sudden. Many of us may be confronted with a variety of emotions, which might include shock, sadness and confusion. We want to assure you that we, the Students Union Government, care about you and the feelings that you may be experiencing.” he wrote.

Spokesperson of the State Police Command,Funmi Odunlami, also confirmed the death in a statement.

“His body had been taken to the morgue, and investigation has started to unravel the reasons behind his action, but it was a case of suicide,” he said.

Popular clergyman and movie producer, Mike Bamiloye, has called out people who refer to themselves as a GOAT (greatest of all time)

Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a lengthy piece talking about the biblical meaning of a goat and how the devil was using it to deceive people.

According to him, a goat was disobedient and stubborn and such people did not belong in the kingdom.

In his words;

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, was left bamboozled after an anonymous fan gifted her N500,000 to purchase fuel for her car.

The controversial screen diva, who was taken by surprise by the generous gesture, took to her Instastory to post a screenshot of the credit alert.

The benevolent fan, who appeared to have been trying to get her attention, had slid into her DMs to request for her account details for a monetary gift.

Without thinking twice, the thespian sent her bank details and praised the fan for finally using the right strategy to get her attention.

Shockingly, the fan sent the whooping sum of N500,000 to her account and pleaded with her not to reveal his identity.

Nkechi was shocked by this and per usual, went online to announce the fan’s grand gesture. She also told other admirers to learn from the fan instead of sending only “Hey” and “Hi” to her DM.

The thespian wrote,

A Nigerian pharmacist identified as Subpharmacy has shared the sad story of how his colleague on life support passed away after the hospital suffered a power outage for more than 24 hours.

According to him, the deceased who was involved in an accident had a blood clot in his brain and was placed on oxygen. Sadly, due to the prolonged loss of electricity, he had no air supply and was unable to breathe on his own.

He mentioned that his mom almost suffered the same fate two years back but he brought his personal gen to power her ward.

He wrote;
“Man had an accident and there was “blood clots” in his brain. He was on oxygen in the ICU, and they took light. They took light, and for more than 24hours there was no light, the gentlemen packed up. And guess what, he was a pharmacist, With a wife and children.
I wish this was a made up story. How I wish.

When my mom was admitted in a particular hospital about 2yrs ago, there was no light, I had to go bring my gen from home and fuel it so there could be light in her ward.
Other patients that would have suffered the no light in the ward were thanking me and I couldn’t even deal, like how.”

Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, has responded to a man who asked her to use her magical powers to help Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, win the forthcoming election.

The Nollywood star had taken to her Instagram page with over 1 million followers to drum up support for Peter Obi and enjoin Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter’s Card.

According to her, Nigerians can achieve the desired change if they exercise their right to vote and vote for the right candidate.

In other news, reality TV star, Jackye Madu has accused singer Paul Okoye of trying to incite people against the federal government and the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

This comes after Paul took to Twitter on Thursday to call out INEC for setting the PVC collection timeframe when students are still in school.

He had asserted that majority of Nigerian students registered for their voter’s card during ASUU strike, so they won’t be able to collect their PVCs as they are currently in school.

“Out of the 74 million youths eligible voters, 26 million of them are students and they are all back in school, most of them registered during the ASUU strike. It’s 10days remaining for collection, @inecnigeria why are students still in school by now?,” he wrote.

His tweet didn’t sit well with Jackye and she didn’t hesitate to share her sentiment in a post shared on her Instastory.

According to her, there’s no country where students are asked to take a break from school because of an election.

“Where in the world are students asked to stop school because of election? Some of these celebs really be trying to incite people. So not cool”, she wrote in a now-deleted post.

According to her, the private parts flashed in the movie are not hers but those of her “body double.”

Sharing a photo of herself from the controversial scene, she wrote,

Court bars Korra Obidi and ex-husband Justin Dean from posting visuals of their children on social media

Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, and her estranged husband, Justin Dean, have been barred by a court in California, United States of America, from posting visuals of their children on social media.

In a court document dated January 19, 2022, the former couple, who are parents to June Dean and Athena Dean, were forbidden from posting videos, photos, or live-streams of their children or any content that has their children in it on social media until further notice.

“Neither party may post any videos, photos or live-stream the minor children on any social media platform nor allow the minor children to appear in any picture, video or live-stream posted to any social media platform without further Court Order. Neither party may take video, photos or live stream any interaction between the parties in this matter until further Court Order.” The court order read in part.

This comes after Korra revealed her ex-husband, Justin filed a new lawsuit for full custody of their children.

According to Korra, Justin filed the suit on the grounds that she’s negligent of her duties as a mother and allegedly leaves the children unattended to while she focuses on her live sessions.

The embattled dancer also accused her estranged husband of being abusive and said she fears for their daughters if he gets custody of them.
