Popular Twitter personality, John Doe, has taken to the microblogging platform to pose a thought-provoking question at married couples.

John asked if they would like to marry their current partner in another lifetime and if their marriage is one of the best decisions of their life.

“Married people. Is your own marriage one of the best decisions you made in your life? If you come back to this world, will you love to be married again? And to the same partner? Please be kind to respond honestly,” he asked.

The question has since sparked a deep conversation online as many couples reflect on their marriages and share their unique experiences.

Popular Nollywood actress, Adanma Luke, has taken to social media to raise alarm about veteran actor Hanks Anuku’s wellbeing.

An alleged disturbing video of the veteran thespian walking and acting suspiciously recently surfaced online, with social media users alleging that he’s having trouble. However, his colleague, Shan George, immediately debunked the claim.

Refuting the viral report that all was not well with the actor, Shan shared a photo and video of herself and Hanks working on a movie set in Asaba a few days ago. ICYMI.

“Nothing dey do Hank o, we dey same set. This pix is 3 days ago”, she wrote.

However, contrary to Shan’s claim that Hanks is perfectly fine, actress Adanma Luke is insisting that the veteran actor is not okay and needs help.

She claimed that her colleagues in the Nigerian film industry are attempting to hide his problems from the public.

“Pls you all Nollywood peeps should stop with the lies when you know the truth. He isn’t Okay so let him get help now that the world knows. A heartbroken woman has taken to social media to narrate how she contracted HIV from her cheating husband.

The mother of one who shared her ordeal in an emotional TikTok video said she decided to get tested due to her husband’s incessant cheating habit, which she kept forgiving him for, and sadly, the results were positive.

She stated that for four years, she had to put up with one cheating scandal after another, until she decided to take another test after delivering their first child.

The woman broke down in tears at one point in the video as she revealed that she has never cheated on her husband and that it’s quite sad that she’s in this predicament as a result of his infidelity.

“4 yrs I kept in forgiving a cheating husband and it resulted me from taking ARVs for the rest of my life. I was married and faithful to my husband. I got pregnant and went for my first clinic and I tested HIV negative. I willingly went for another test when my baby is 1 yr old and I tested positive,” she wrote.

Speaking in a trending clip, the young lady who has never been to an airport talk more of taking a flight, said she would make a big deal out of it when she eventually enters an airplane.

Mama Jazz, the sister of late Bimbo Ogbonna, has taken to social media to mourn her one month after her passing.

Recall that Bimbo, the late wife of popular Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, died after she was incinerated during a domestic fight with her husband in October this year.

Though the circumstances surrounding her death are controversial, her relatives have made several claims and accusations that IVD was the one who pushed her into the flames and was directly responsible for her death.

Taking to her Instagram page to mourn her demise one month after the tragedy, Bimbo’s sister insisted that the mother of five was ‘murdered in cold blood’ and that ‘justice must be served’.

She shared a photo of Bimbo and wrote,

YabaleftOnline reported that the Nigerian police have arrested IVD following the incineration and death of his wife, Bimbo.

IVD who was accused of physically abusing her throughout the duration of their marriage and allegedly shot her sometime last month has been taken in by the police.

The Public relations officer of the police force, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, took to his Twitter account to announce that IVD whom his family claimed to be on the run, was already in custody of the law.

A Twitter user has narrated how a woman’s marriage to her best friend’s husband hit rock bottom shortly after she gave birth.

It was gathered that the unidentified woman snatched her best friend’s husband and got married to him, but the marriage didn’t work.

The Twitter user, @Queenn_Ufuoma, who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform said shortly after the woman gave birth, the man divorced her.

The woman, who considers herself a strong woman for having survived that experience, is reportedly set to launch a book.

“This one married her best friend’s husband, he abandoned her shortly after she gave birth then divorced her, now she’s launching a book because she’s a strong woman. Omo!!!” The Twitter user wrote.

The man going by the handle King of Guam said that his wife had admitted she would cheat on him if she found a man who could give her 10 million Naira.

Anambra State Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has said Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, knows he can’t and won’t win the presidential election in 2023.

He made this statement in a press release on Monday, November 14, while reacting to the backlash he received over a comment he made during his recent interview with Channels TV.

He had said that the investments Peter Obi made during his tenure as Anambra State governor is currently next to nothing.

This infuriated many Nigerians and they slammed him for it. Politician, Babatunde Gbadamosi, who also reacted to the statement, said Soludo is only ‘jealous’ of Peter Obi because he ‘wants to stop any Igbo man from getting the presidency before himself’.

Reacting to the backlash and allegations, Soludo released a lengthy statement that reads in part,

“Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win. “He knows the game he is playing, and we know too; and he knows that we know.

The game he is playing is the main reason he didn’t return to APGA. The brutal truth (and some will say, God forbid) is that there are two persons/parties seriously contesting for president: the rest is exciting drama! That many Americans may not like the fact that Joe Biden (79 years) and Donald Trump (76 years) are two frontrunners for president in their parties does not remove the fact that if both of them emerge as candidates, definitely one of them will be president in 2024.

When the revered Arch Bishop Chukwuma stated that in Enugu State, they were not obedient, he was ferociously bullied on social media. Controversial relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, experienced a somewhat embarrassing situation on stage at a recent event in Warri, Delta State.

A video making the rounds online that captured the quite embarrassing moment shows Blessing Okoro being ridiculed by the audience.

Blessing, who had mounted the stage for an award presentation, was interrupted with yells from the crowd, which called her names and even made fun of her butt enhancement surgery.

Blessing Okoro, however, appeared unbothered as she maintained her composure and went on with the presentation despite the yells from the crowd.

The former American actress made this known in the latest episode of her podcast, Archetypes, where she opened up about her genetic heritage and expressed a desire to know more about her roots.

Speaking with Senegalese-American actress and comedian Issa Rae, Nigerian-American comedian and writer Ziwe Fumudoh, and professor Emily Bernards, Meghnan said she took a genealogy test which revealed that she is 43% Nigerian.

“I just had my genealogy done a couple years ago. I’m 43% Nigerian, “she said.

Popular Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo has said a prayer to mourn the passing of his mother-in-law who was fondly referred to as Alhaja.

Child right activist sues Peter Obi for involving toddler in election rally.

Child rights activist, Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre, has served the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi a N50M lawsuit for allegedly involving a toddler in his political rally in Lagos.

A few weeks ago, a video of a young child at a Labour Party rally went viral online, and Peter Obi subsequently acknowledged the young girl.

According to The News Agency of Nigeria, child rights advocate Amb. Wale Ojo-Lanre filed the initial motion on notice before a family court in the Ikeja High Court on October 27.

Ojo is suing the respondent as a “Concerned Nigerian and litigation friend” of the toddler in the lawsuit with the filing number ID/6332GCM/2022, which also names the Labour Party, Queen (the underage girl’s mother), the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

He claims that Peter Obi’s posting of the toddler’s photo and video on his Twitter account on October 2 in order to refer to her as “a poster child” was dishonest, unlawful, exploitative, and abusive.

In his words;

“The first defendant allowed participation and usage of a toddler in an adult political rally, which took place on the street of Lagos on October 1.
This is contrary to Sections 29 and 33 of the Child Rights Act of Lagos State and Article 36 of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of Children, 1981.
We seek an order for the first and second respondents to delete their respective tweets and several other posts on their social media accounts in reference to the underage girl-child.
We also seek an order mandating the fourth and fifth respondents to withdraw the toddler from the care and custody of the third respondent.
We are seeking court order to foster the child to any welfare home under the accreditation and supervision of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs or other appropriate authorities for proper care, education, protection and upbringing until she turns 18 years.
In addition, we seek an order to disqualify the second respondent from participating in the 2023 presidential election for condoning, adopting, encouraging and allowing the usage of the toddler for his rally.”

A hearing date has not yet been scheduled.

A video of popular UK-based Nigerian clergyman, Tobi Adegboyega’s choir performing Davido’s hit track, “Stand Strong,” during a church service has raised eyebrows.

During a recent service at the Salvation Proclaimer Ministries Church (SPAC Nation), founded by Pastor Tobi, the choir dedicated their music to the grieving singer who lost his 3-year-old son.

A video that was shared on social media by Davido’s close friend, Cubana Chiefpriest, showed the moment the clergyman joined his choir on the pulpit to perform Davido’s “Stand Strong” during the special service.

Chiefpriest shared the video on his Instagram page with the caption, “Our Steps Are Guided By Jehovah @davido @thechefchi God Must Fix Us, God Is Our Only BackUp, We Stand Strong With You Guys And We Are Coming Out Of This Together. Our Triplets Are Sure Loading %…. So Help Us God Amen🙏”.

Controversial Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has taken to Twitter to reveal why she has never been married.

According to Kemi, she refused to get married because she doesn’t think men should be submitted to or be in charge of the household.

The 58-year-old media personality, who insinuated that she doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage, emphasized that her reason for staying unmarried is because she doesn’t think wives should submit to their husbands.

Now reacting to the development, Kemi via her social media account appealed to the public to disregard the post as her sons are not on the internet.

“NO DISTRACTIONS ‼️There are 20 fake accounts in my name. I only talk on my verified pages. No time for burner accts. Any gists my children are writing is FALSE. My sisters kids are running fake accts. Only one of my children is on SM and has not posted since Valentine’s Day.”

Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, has proven that actions indeed speak louder than words as he threw a massive shade at rapper, MI Abaga, without saying a word at a recent event.

Bovi, who was the co-host at the 11th edition of Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) held in Lagos over the weekend, pulled an amusing stunt targeted at the legendary rapper and it has gotten people talking online.

In a viral video that captures the funny incident, Bovi and his co-host, Keturah King, called on MI Abaga, who was a guest artiste at the event, to come onstage for his performance.

However, immediately Kenturah mentioned MI’s name, Bovi went to adjust the microphone to a lower height because MI is short lol. The rapper stands at an underwhelming 5’2.

The video has since sparked mixed reactions online as netizens opine that the stunt is insulting to MI, while others averred that it was a premeditated joke and not as deep as some people are making it out to be.

A Nigerian lady has disagreed with those who claim flying in an airplane is not an achievement as she reveals what she would do if she enters an airplane for the first time.

Speaking in a trending clip, the young lady who has never been to an airport talk more of taking a flight, said she would make a big deal out of it when she eventually enters an airplane.

According to her, she will post pictures and videos of her experience on social media.

She said that won’t be even enough to express her feeling of fulfilment as she would also send the photos to people’s DMs.

She said if they don’t view it, she would go to their houses to show them the pictures personally so they will know she has entered an airplane.

Stefflon Don, a British rapper and ex-girlfriend to Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has shared the hilarious voice note she received from a male fan on Instagram.

Speaking in a video shared on her official Instagram page, Stefflon said she receives weird and funny DMs from people all the time and decided to share the voice note with her followers.

In the voice note, the fan said he wanted to perform one of his songs for Stefflon and proceeded to give a rib-cracking performance which sounded like a failed audition for a singing competition.

The young man, who evidently lacks music talent, infused Stefflon’s name in the song where he talked about a ‘juicy’ and ‘cherry’ girl.

Nigerian dancehall singer and songwriter, Cynthia Morgan has shared some terrifying ‘prophecies’ she received from God about some celebrities in the entertainment industry and political scene.

The rapper, in a post shared on her Instastory, said she decided to share the prophecies publicly because she doesn’t have a personal relationship with those involved and she wants the message to get to them by all means.

Speaking about popular actress turned politician, Funke Akindele, Cynthia Morgan told her to pray fervently about her finances so she doesn’t go bankrupt.

This comes on the heels of Funke Akindele’s political ambition to become the deputy governor of Lagos state under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Cynthia also appealed to Nigerians to pray for music icon, Wizkid’s mental health. This follows the release of his new album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ which has gotten relatively low acceptance by Nigerians.

“I had to pay N25,200” – Benue man laments bitterly after guests stole chairs he hired for his mother’s burial

A young Nigerian man, identified as Udam Samuel Aseer, has taken to social media to lament bitterly after some of the chairs he rented for his mother’s burial were stolen by some guests.

The Benue-based man said he had to pay an extra fee of N25,200 after seven of the chairs he rented were stolen at the venue of the event, which was held on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

“You attended My Mum’s burial & stole 7 Chairs I hired, leaving me to pay 25,200 (3,600 each)” he wrote on Monday. I have been in the village since yesterday over this & no solution. I had to pay as one of the terms & conditions given by chairs owners as agreed,” the disgruntled man wrote.

In other news, an 8-year-old boy who was abducted by his stepfather has been rescued by detectives in Kenya and returned him to his devastated mother.

The suspect, Nemwel Ondar, abducted the boy early on Saturday, November 12, following a domestic dispute with his wife, Everline Nandera.

The perpetrator was apprehended when the boy’s frightened mother reported the incident to the Embakasi police station at around 9:30 am.

The suspect ordered and threatened to stab the boy to death with a kitchen knife if the wife didn’t take immediate action, according to a statement released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The drama started when Ovie, who recently went public with her relationship with the actor, shared a poster of her fiancé’s new movie, which had him in a romantic pose with another lady on set.

A fan who appeared concerned with the movie poster then took to the post’s comments to warn Peggy that she hopes that Leonard and the actress in the poster do not end up like their colleagues, Yul Edochie and Judy Austin.

“Eh! Peggy, observers are worried. I hope this movie will not end like Judy and Yul oo”, the follower wrote.
