Reality tv star, Sheggz has shared a remembrance post for his grandfather, Mr Olusegun Olusemo.
The ex-BBNaija participant took to his Instagram page to walk down memory lane and celebrate the former accountant general of the federation who passed on a day before his birthday.
Sheggz hailed his grandpa as the genuine Mr. Ikoyi and posted a picture of him.
The reality TV star said that it always felt shocking that he had passed on just a day before his birthday.

Nigeria’s leading female talking drummer, Aralola Olumuyiwa a.k.a Ara has revealed how everything went awry for her shortly after gaining fame.
The drummer claims that this occurred years after a family friend told her about a dream he had about her.
Ara admitted that when nothing continued to go her way, she began to battle God. She also talked about spending over a year in a single hotel room.
She went on to say that once she cried out to God and asked him what he wanted her to do, things started to get better.
In her words;
“In 1999, a photographer to a family friend who was very close to us came running to my place one afternoon. Then I was still in my parent’s house at Ajao estate, he lived in Mafoluku. I was sleeping. My mother told them to wake me and that photo wants to see me. That he is from Bayelsa. I went. He said, Lola, I dey dream o. I dream and I see you this afternoon. God bring your picture come do am like this for my face, say go and look for my daughter, tell her to serve me, to seek me everything she wants, I will give her. If she does not serve me, if she does not seek me, she will see paper and call it money on the floor. And it happened to me. I thought it was a joke.
All of a sudden everything stopped working. People that would call for shows all of a sudden, everything stopped. Shows that I get paid N3m is what people would be pricing for N100,000. To cut the long story short, I became homeless, I couldn’t afford to feed, couldn’t pay my child’s school fees, I sold all of my cars, sold my hummer jeep, Hilux, things started going bad. It got to a stage where I said this must be the hand of God. Something is wrong. I went for prayers and I was told that nobody is fighting me, that this is God. Listen to him. He wants to use you for something but you are not listening to him. I said okay but you know we are stubborn. I started fighting God, I suffered the more. For almost one year, I lived in one room in a hotel. This is in 2019. But you see the day I cried like the prodigal son, I said, God this is me, whatever you want to do with me, you made me, you moulded me, please, forgive me, I have come back to you. What do you want me to do?
When things started happening to me, when I went through that process of from hero to zero, I remembered that dream. Meanwhile, I have dumped this project. I went back to God to say that the people that would help me is You. It is not how talented, connected or how popular I am now, it is You. If this is your hand God, bring the people. The day the governor called me, I nearly entered the gutter. I said this is God. Let me share something. The day I received the endorsement letter on December 22, I took that letter and I was going home to share with my younger brother. I got home, opened the envelope, there was no letter there. It disappeared.
Till today, I don’t know where it disappeared to. I didn’t go anywhere. I called the ministry to ask if I left it, they said I didn’t because I folded it and kept it. We thoroughly searched for it. Meanwhile, I told the DG that it has taken almost 10 years to get the letter from Lagos state. He asked what happened, I told him it was spiritual that he cannot understand. When I didn’t find that letter I called him back and said sir, I can’t find that letter. He said that is the only original copy they did that they only have photocopies. I told him not to worry that I would work with it, that he should please give it to me. But before 11pm, he called me back. I had said to God if it is you, you would do something again. Before 11pm, they called me again to say they were able to get the honourable commissioner to sign another original. I got it back. Today the honourable commissioner is here. I did not meet him one on one until a few weeks ago in his office.”
Popular Nollywood actress, Ruth Eze, has stated that she would rather have a rich partner who cheats on her than go into a relationship with a poor man.
The thespian made this assertion in a recent interview with Punch’s Saturday Beats. According to her, regardless of how much a man loves a woman it’s natural for him to try out other women.
She said since all men cheat it’s better to be with a rich partner.
“I will comfortably go for a rich cheating partner, because the poor one would also cheat on me. The way men like different soups is how they like different women. A Nigerian lady identified as Anita has stirred controversy online by revealing how much she makes as an employee of a car wash business.
The young woman claimed she made N150,000 every day washing cars for clients.
She announced this on her social media page in response to Nigerians’ complaints that there is no work in the country.
Anita posted pictures of herself washing a parked car’s tire even though she wasn’t wearing a uniform or dressing in a way that suggested she worked at a car wash.

Popular Nigerian clergyman and actor, Mike Bamiloye, has taken to his official Facebook page to issue a serious warning to people with broken marriages.
This follows the barrage of negative marital advise and bad press surrounding the institution of marriage on the internet.
Addressing people with broken marriages, Mike Bamiloye instructed them to desist from advising single folks, especially ladies, not to respect the institution of marriage.
The drama evangelist who has been married to his wife for 34 years wrote, “If you have got a broken marriage, don’t ever advise the single ladies not to respect the marriage institution”.
According to the post he shared, people in that category can still be joyful again because The Lord can heal the wounds sustained from a failed marriage. What they should not do however, is go about scaring young ladies who want to get married.

Following the attack on Friday, October 21, Apostle Suleman in a video shared on his church’s social media page, said he knows those behind the attack but won’t mention their names because they will come out to debunk the allegation.

A 16-year-old boy, simply identified as Precious, has been arrested by men of the Ondo state security outfit, codenamed Amotekun, for allegedly raping his brother’s wife and nine other women in the state.
The teenager is said to have walked into the bedroom of his brother, who was out of town for work, where he saw the wife naked and sleeping, and then took advantage of her.
Precious, while being paraded before newsmen at the command’s headquarters on Friday, November 11, admitted to committing the crime and confessed to having raped nine other girls at Laosun, a farm settlement in Ondo West local government area.
“In Laosun, I have raped nine girls. Some of them are 19 or 25 years, in the night, I will go into their rooms and start sleeping with them. I do not use gun or knives to threaten them. Sometimes I would be caught and they would beat me and leave me. I have been arrested before. I was arrested for stealing 25 litres of palm oil. I wanted to gather money to use it to buy phone. I came to the house and saw my brother’s wife sleeping naked. I went into the room and slept with her.” He said.
Operatives of the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force Intelligence Bureau FIB-IRT, have arrested four suspected members of a kidnap gang that abducted the wife of a popular Rivers-based businessman, Mrs Hussana Adamu, eight months ago.
The victim, Mrs. Hussana Adamu, was on her way to drop her children at school in April when she was abducted near the Casablanca Club, Government Reserved Area, Port Harcourt, and Rivers State.
She was released a week later after a N20 million ransom was paid.
The police were later able to arrest four of the suspects, identified as Isiaka Hamidu, 30, who hails from Adamawa State; Nwasaneo Goodluck, 34; Victor Nwidee, 29; and ThankGod Bariledun, 36, all from the Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
One of the suspects, Isiaka Hamidu, while being paraded, claimed to have lavished his one-million naira share of the ransom on prostitutes.
“I used N1 million out of it to f*** ashawo( commercial sex workers). I lodged in a hotel , invited prostitutes every night for one month. I slept with at least two ashawos every night for one month and I paid them N20,000 each. I used the remaining N300,000 to plant corn in the village”, he said.
Hamidu, who claimed this was his first time indulging in kidnapping, said he invited other members of the syndicate to abduct Mrs. Adamu to avenge an alleged ill-treatment of his younger brother by her husband, Musa Ahmad.
His words,
“One of my brothers worked for Alhaji Musa Ahmad, for 11 years. When he left to get married, all Alhaji Ahmad could pay my brother was N250,000. I was not happy with him because everyone knew he was very rich and could afford more than that. I decided to kidnap him or any member of his family. I contacted Goodluck, a long-time friend and told him about the situation. He was also angry and bought my kidnap idea.
On his part, Goodluck, a graduate of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, admitted to having collected N5.5 million from the leader of the gang after ransom was paid.
“Out of it, I took N2 million, gave Isiaka N1.3 million while Victor got N500,000.” He said.
Another suspect, ThankGod, claimed he had no idea that members of the gang were into kidnapping. He said he was contacted to use his vehicle to convey them to a place in the Bori Khana Local Government Area of the state after the kidnapping.
“Leader of the gang told me to take him somewhere in my car. On the way I picked three other friends of his . From there, he directed me to where it was later discovered to be close to the victim’s house, where they kidnapped her and directed me to their hideout . That was when I knew they were kidnappers”, he said.
The fourth suspect, Victor, stated that his role was to monitor the victim’s movement and relate same to other members of the gang who were waiting patiently for the appropriate time to strike.
Speaking further, he admitted to having collected N500,000 from Goodluck as his share of the ransom, revealing that he used the largesse to repair his Toyota Corolla car.

He shared photos and a video of the Lamborghini Aventador SJV in purple, along with a video of the Maybach Benz in black.
Burna Boy, who revealed he got the luxury rides in preparation for “Onwa Decemba”, also shared a post of him asking his dealer when his custom Bugatti will be ready.

Stefflon Don, whose over two-year relationship with the self-styled African giant ended in 2021, appeared to mock her ex-lover in a video she shared on TikTok yesterday, November 10.
In the video, Steff was seen dancing energetically to a TikTok sound with the caption, “When he is a man and not a mummy’s boy,” insinuating that she would be overjoyed if she met a prospective suitor who was not a mummy’s boy.
Fans concluded that the video was an attack on Burna, who is being managed by his mother, Bose Ogulu, and he has now reacted.
Reacting to the shade, Burna took to his insta-stories and simply told Stefflon Don to move on.
Big Brother Naija couple, Bella Okagbue and Sheggz Olu, were spotted at the airport together in the early hours of Friday, November 11.
A Twitter user, who bumped into them at the airport, took to the microblogging platform to share a picture with the BBNaija lovebirds and disclosed that they looked adorable together.
He also credited their reuinion to their fans, popularly known as ‘Shella shippers’, who kept rooting for them to keep their love alive after the reality show ended.

Hypo hosted the volunteers and executive members of the National Youth Service Corps, Lagos chapter to a grand reception where they were officially presented with cash rewards of a hundred thousand Naira each and employment interview offer. Equally present to witnesses the event were representatives from schools already benefitted from the project, the Executive Chairman of the Organized Private Sector in Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Dr Nicholas Igwe, who on behalf of the organization equally promised to support the volunteers with additional fifty thousand Naira each.
So far, 68 toilet units have been rescued and commissioned in Lagos in partnership with National Youth Corps Service providing resources of Corps members who gladly volunteered to take on the active part on the mission towards promoting hygienic toilet environment in Nigerian public schools and most importantly to strategically move Nigeria down the rank of being the highest open defecator in the world.
The major highlight of the exercise shortly before the cash presentation was when the brand took the audience through a multimedia presentation of the dilapidated state of a few of the commissioned facilities, showing “the before meets after refurbishment”, which certainly demonstrated how deeply impactful the project has touched lives.
After the cash reward exercise, the 11 Corps member volunteers got the opportunity to meet with the Group Chief Executive Officer, Tolaram Group -Mr. Deepak Singhal, who commended them for their efforts and for choosing to make themselves useful towards achieving as greater Nigeria.
According to Mr. Akinseloyin Akintayo, Brand Manager, Hypo Bleach “these young people are dynamic, and they have demonstrated how deeply they care about giving back to the community where they are serving and beyond the cash rewards, they will be taken through an interview session after which the lucky ones will get a full-time employment with the organization”.

Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule popularly known as Blaqbonez, has revealed that he stopped watching people’s Instagram and Snapchat stories four years ago.
Taking to his Twitter page on Friday, November 11, the 26-year-old rapper explained that he stopped watching people’s stories because they always made him feel less of himself.
According to the ‘Back to uni’ crooner, everyone seemed to have a perfect life on social media and it made him feel inferior. In order to curb those feelings, he stopped viewing people’s IG and Snapchat stories completely.
He tweeted:
“4 years ago I stopped watching people’s IG & snapchat stories, because it always made me feel less of myself, people always seemed to have this perfect life, i told myself I won’t let then tension me. I still don’t watch people’s stories.”

Skit maker, Ashmusy, has finally admitted that her initial claim of spending N2 million daily was exaggerated, as she laments how many people have approached her for financial assistance since her post went viral.
The internet personality made the news on Thursday after she claimed in a social media post that she spends at least N2 million a day solving her life problems.
Her claim generated massive reactions from social media users, the majority of whom accused her of living a fake life.
She later provided a breakdown of her daily expenditures, which eventually add up to that massive sum, and stated that low-income people cannot relate to her lifestyle.
However, in an updated post moments ago, as Nigerians continued to drag her across various social media platforms, Ashmusy stated that her initial claim of spending N2 million per day was simply a hyperbole, but Nigerians didn’t get the joke.
She said since she made the claim, she has received tons of messages from people begging her for financial assistance, blocking important business messages.

The last tweet of Mary Fulu, a 24-year-old lady who committed suicide after her boyfriend ended their relationship in Lilongwe, Malawi, has surfaced.
Mary, a student and entrepreneur, ended it all on November 2, 2022, after her lover reportedly dumped her for another woman.
Sources close to her family said her boyfriend, simply identified as Neil, broke up with her after he impregnated another woman.
Spokesman of Kanengo Police Station, Gresham Ngwira, who confirmed the sad news, said Mary fell into depression after the devastating heartbreak and was undergoing therapy before she committed the act.
“The woman had been going to Bwaila Hospital for treatment and counselling. However, this morning she died by suicide. She silently went into the boys quarter and hanged herself,” reads part of the police report.
The report adds that a post-mortem examination was conducted on her corpse and it revealed that the cause of her death was strangulation.
A tweet she shared on the day she committed suicide has resurfaced and in it, she wrote, “We were good for each other”.
Also, days leading to her death, she retweeted several tweets about suicide and depression.
Men of the Enugu state police command have arrested an 18-year-old new mum, Ada Joy Okonkwo, and her 60-year-old mother for allegedly stabbing her new-born baby to death.
It was gathered that Ada used a kitchen knife to stab the child to death, following the counseling of her mother, moments after she delivered the baby at home.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday, November 7, at Olocha-Adogba in the Awgu community of Awgu L.G.A. of Enugu state.
The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State has now ordered the State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID) in Enugu to thoroughly investigate the case of an alleged conspiracy and murder of the newborn male child (infanticide) by the mother of the child, Ada Joy, and her mother, Christina Okonkwo.
The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said the child was taken to the hospital and confirmed dead by the doctors on duty.
He added that the corpse was deposited in the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
The police PRO mentioned that the state commissioner of police has called on citizens of the community, particularly the women who carried out a peaceful demonstration, to express their disgust over the act, maintain peace, and avoid acts that could lead to the breakdown of law and order in the community.
Nollywood actor, Oluwaferanmi Adeyemi, popularly known as Yhemo Lee, has lampooned his colleagues over their reactions to American rapper, 50 Cent’s planned movie on Hushpuppi.
Recall that the rapper announced his plans to produce a movie about the life of Hushpuppi, a convicted Nigerian felon, on Wednesday, November 9.

Nigerian TV host,Morayo Afolabi-Brown has urged married women to have a long term exit plan in their marriages.

She said women should secure a backup plan incase their husbands start misbehaving or mistreating them in the long run.

Nigerian music icon, Wizkid gave quite an interesting response during a recent interview when he was asked to pick his favorite artist between Burna Boy and Tems.
The superstar singer was recently a guest on “This or That” on BBC Radio 1Extra, when the host asked him to choose his favorite between Tems and Burna Boy.
Responding, the singer first expressed shock at the question before noting that picking between the two is a difficult choice to make.
He went on to assert that Tems and Burna Boy are like family to him; hence, he won’t be able to choose a favourite form the list because he loves them equally.
“Don’t do this to me. They are both like my family members. I can’t pick one,” Wizkid said, while expressing his love for the duo.
During the interview, the show host also asked him to choose between the mainland and island parts of Lagos, and Wizkid, who grew up in Surulere, chose the mainland.
