“Hello, everyone. The police here in Lokoja are trying to sweep the matter under the carpet here, they are blaming me for bringing it online and not attacking why he was beating my mum. My mum is also scared of coming down to police station to make a statement
They just want to end it just like that without doing anything, my dad was in their office talking to them for hours, turning their mind and support towards him. The police are opting to just settle it amicably and they want me to go back home.
Please I don’t want this matter to die like that. I can’t go back to living back. He will beat me, seize my phone. We really need help”

The man, identified as Seyi Oluleye, took to Twitter to make the rather shocking vow after finding out that his wife-to-be slept with another man.

Popular Cameroonian singer, AmbeDiSing has condemned his countrymen for playing more of Nigerian music in their clubs.
Ambe took to his Facebook to say that he observed that a lot Nigerian clubs in the US play 95 per cent of Nigerian music but when he returns to Cameroon, he discovers that his people also play majorly Nigerian music in their clubs.
He questioned this and called on the DJs to play songs by Cameroonian artistes in their clubs, not Nigerian songs.
He added: “Y’all cannot be spending all that Cameroonian sweat on Nigerian music while Nigerians spend their Nigerian sweat on Nigerian music… Do the maths oh.”

In other news, a married man made a scene after he caught his wife in a car with a popular Cameroonian singer, Longue Longue.
It was gathered that the wife had left the house a day prior after telling her husband that she was traveling to another town.
The husband, who was left with the kids, went to the market to buy foodstuffs to cook for them when he spotted his wife with the singer, a source claims.
A video from the scene, currently making the rounds online, shows the husband attempting to drag his wife out of the singer’s red car.
However, the wife resisted and stayed stuck to the car seat as the distraught husband tried to drag her out.
The singer, Longue, on his part, kept hurling insults at the husband. “Your mother! Your mother!” Longue Longue kept telling the enraged husband in French.
Locals who had gathered around Longue’s car to watch the dramatic scene booed Longue, who showed no sign of remorse.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the 49-year-old singer has been involved in similar scandals.

A visually impaired Nigerian man, Demola Adeleke has written touching words to his new wife, Temmy.
The lovely couple held their traditional wedding on October 8 and their court wedding a couple of days back, after dating for close to two years.
Demola who is a Mass Communications graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) was 16 when he lost his sight.
Taking to Facebook page on October 16, 2022, the 29-year-old Oyo-born Literature-in-English teacher, revealed that his wife is very courageous as it takes courage to date a blind man.
Contrary to insinuations on social media that his wife married him for money, Demola said he is not rich.

A Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officer has posted a video of a rat high on cannabis.
According to Mr. Femi Babafemi, the rat got into the showroom where cannabis is held at one of the NDLEA Commands.
Babafemi’s video shows that the rat began to be affected by the drug after swallowing some of it. He believes the rat’s actions should serve as a warning to others who use mind-altering substances.

A young man who won 38 million naira from sports betting with an investment of just eight hundred naira has come under fire for his choice to go pray immediately after his win was confirmed.

A Nigerian man has dragged his former fiancée to court over her refusal to pay rent for his house which she lived in for years.
A video making rounds online shows the court hearing presided over by Justice Olusola Williams of Judging Matters, with the help of media personality and lawyer, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Narrating what transpired, the disgruntled man said he and his ex-fiancee decided to move in together in 2019, and the house rent was N300,000 per annum. He said they agreed that he will pay N200,000 while she pays the remaining N100,000.
He said she paid her part in 2019/20 but refused to fulfil her end of the bargain in 2020/21, claiming that she lost her job.
Following his investigation, he discovered that she did not lose her job as claimed, and secretly secured her own apartment.
She then broke off their engagement and said she wanted to move out, but he insisted that she must pay the outstanding payment of N100k.
The young lady, in her defense, said they did not have an agreement and she was only supporting him with the rent payment.
According to her, she decided to break up with him because he started treating her like trash after they started cohabiting, and stopped doing the things that made her fall in love with him at the onset of their relationship.
In his response, the man said they had a verbal agreement, and he did not expressly tell her to live in his house for free. However, the lady maintained that she did not agree to pay rent.
Following the back and forth between the estranged couple, Justice Williams, in her judgement, ordered the lady to pay the N100k because the benefits she enjoyed as his fiancée was annulled after she broke up with him.
A Nigerian lady’s reaction to the news that all seven members of South Korean pop band, BTS, have been enlisted into the country’s military has caused a stir.
The group’s management company, Big Hit Music, had revealed in a Twitter post on Monday, October 17, that the group will perform military service in their native country.
Under South Korean law, able-bodied men, upon reaching age 28, are required to perform military service for at least two years.
While many fans of the K-pop stars were hoping the band members would be exempted due to their contribution to the country’s economy and global prestige, the band announced plans to fulfill their military service on Monday.
The oldest member of the group, Jin, who is 29, will be the first to enlist in the army while other members, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will follow suit.
Reacting to the news, a Nigerian lady, who’s an ardent fan of the group, broke down in tears.
The female fan expressed her anguish at the news, stating that she has never attended any of their concerts, visited South Korea, nor has the band ever come to Nigeria.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has taken to social media to hail himself as a man after God’s heart.
This comes after he was called out for allegedly snatching his second wife, Judy Austin, from her alleged first husband, Obasi.
Judy’s alleged first husband, Obasi, who resulted to social media to plead with Nigerians to help him get custody of his children with Judy, had claimed that the Nollywood actress had been in a relationship with Yul since 2012, while she was still married to him.
He said that in 2012, he discovered that Judy was having an affair with Yul Edochie, after which he noticed a change in her attitude towards him, forcing him to report her to her kinsmen, who resolved their issue.

Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has said she is not a public figure that cowers to cyber-bullying.
She stated this after receiving heavy backlash on social media for calling a Twitter user “ode” which means “fool”.
The drama started when Abike Dabiri took to Twitter to respond to the fracas between some Indians and Nigerians at a university in Delhi on Monday.
A Twitter user who was dissatisfied with her response called her a “mumu woman” and an hypocrite supporting the Nigerian government.
“She should go to Indonesia and see how Nigerians are treated. Mumu woman supporting a failed government. She’s equally part of the failure. Eye service!” the troll wrote.
Abike did not take the comment lightly and fired back at the troll.
“Ode! You go to Indonesia, carry drugs, do cultism and come begging to be rescued from death sentence . Thank God for @ndlea_nigeria now saving people like you from death row”, she wrote.
Her response stirred an outrage on Twitter as netizens said it was unbecoming of a political appointee to make such comment on social media.
Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili also cautioned her, saying “Dear Abike @abikedabiri, What is this? . Kai. This is messy. Please clean it up. Quickly. Please”.
However, the former lawmaker did not back down despite the backlash, and said she is not one to take nonsense from people.
“I’m done on this . But out of respect for you , will ask, Clean what up? It’s okay for some untrained, uncouth guy to refer to me as “ mumu”, and I can’t call him “ ode”I’m not a public official that cows to bullying pls,” she responded.
What was supposed to be a day of joy and celebration turned chaotic after a groom discovered on his wedding day that his bride already had four children with another man.
In a now-trending TikTok video, the bride can be seen looking disturbed and crying profusely as she follows her groom, who had stormed out of their wedding venue angrily after the shocking discovery.
Although the social media user who shared the story online omitted the specifics of how the groom learned that his bride was a mother of four, the visibly enraged man was heard telling guests who tried to pacify him, “She didn’t tell me, she already has four kids.”
The panic-stricken bride, not sure what her husband’s final decision would be, was on her knees the entire time, pleading with her husband for forgiveness.

The marriage of the couple, who are said to have tied the knot in a grand ceremony in September 2022, hit rock bottom barely a month later, after the wife saw multiple disturbing videos of her husband having sex with underaged boys.
A Twitter user who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform said the husband is currently on the run, while the community head has launched a search for him.
A report shared online by Instagram blogger, Cutie Juls, alleges that popular actor, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, was once married with two children.
In the report making rounds on social media, Judy Austin’s alleged first husband, Obasi, claimed Judy got pregnant with their first child at age 19 and moved in with him. They then welcomed their second child in 2009.
Speaking further, Mr Obasi claimed he sponsored Judy’s tertiary education after she said she wanted to further her studies.
In 2012, he discovered that Judy was having an affair with Yul Edochie, after which he noticed a change in her attitude towards him, forcing him to report her to her kinsmen who resolved their issue.
Judy then demanded that they should relocate to Enugu state from Onitsha for reasons best known to her. However, he refused because he had already settled down in Onitsha.
Shortly after, Judy allegedly moved out of their matrimonial home with their two children and left with Yul Edochie.
Fast forward to recent events, after Yul Edochie took Judy as his second wife following the birth of their son, he claimed she cut off communication with him and refused him access to their children.
Mr Obasi has now appealed to Nigerians to help him get his children back.

Still forgave cuz they already had 2 children. Then boom Judy told the husband she wants him to rent her a place in Enugu. They were living in Onitsha. The husband said why do you want to move to Enugu when we have have established here? You want to go to school, I have done that. Paying your fees, books even bribe etc. You are now in your 2nd year in Uni, I’m still paying fees. Now you want to me to rent you a place in Enugu, why? Judy said he either rent her a place in Enugu or she will leave him. On 27 Dec 2012 the man asked his wife to follow him to an Xmas event, she refused.
He retuned and discovered his wife, Judy had emptied their home and taken the kids. Got info that Yul brought car, parked close to the house and Judy and the kids drove in the car with Yul while the truck that had their belongings follow. He said he reported the incident to Judy’s parents but the parents sef get their own for body. Judy is a boss. Like a family of children are not told what to do. He said he only thank God for his life. Fast forward, he has been taking care of his children.
But the very day Yul went to pay Judy’s bride price, Judy cut him off from communicating or seeing his children. He said the Friday before Yul paid Judy’s bride on Sunday, elders in Judy’s community called him to a meeting and told him about Yul’s intention since Judy’s family had not returned his bride price then.
So after the elders in Judy’s community called Mr Obasi about Yul’s intention to marry Judy. They asked him that they know Judy is his wife but Yul has come to inform them that he will be coming with his people on Sunday to pay Judy’s bride price so they want to know if he returned Judy’s bride price without the elders knowing. Mr Obasi says he told them about the incident that happened on 27th December 2012 and how Judy and Yul has been together since. He also used the opportunity to officially inform that about the fact that Judy has moved on with Yul since and they even have a child so this call they are calling him is not needed and all he is wants is to have a good relationship with his kids.
Fast forward, Judy’s husband says he has taken issue about having contacts and custody with his children to Onitsha Human rights, ni better results. He has been to Ogidi Welfare still no avail.
Yul has more influence and connection than him. So he wants to plead with Nigerians to help him tell Judy to allow him access to his kids. He is not comfortable with Judy raising these kids alone especially regarding so many things he saw during their marriage and the fact that Judy comfortably moved on with Yul without first divorcing him.”
Hollywood actor, Kaalan Walker was on Monday, October 17, sentenced to 50 years to life in prison for the rape of multiple women.
The 27-year-old rapper was convicted on charges brought by three teenage girls and four women dating back to 2013.
According to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, Walker had three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape by intoxication.
He was also instructed by the Superior Court Judge, Joseph Brandolino, to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. The Superfly actor was first arrested in 2018 on these charges but was released on bail.
It was gathered that he used his Instagram and Twitter account to contact women – including aspiring models – promising them opportunities and connections with people that could help their modelling career.
He would lure the women to his location in the guise of featuring them in a music video, get them alone and then sexually assault them.
Walker’s defense lawyer, Andrew Flier, speaking on the case said,
“The pattern of Mr. Walker is to make false promises and they bought it. … Each one of these women voluntarily made their own decisions. “He didn’t force them. … It’s payback to Mr. Walker and we’re not going to let that happen.”

She narrated how her father who is a pharmacist treats her mother like trash and regularly beats her up at the slightest provocation.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has thrown a subtle jab at internet fraudster, Hushpuppi, who’s awaiting sentencing.
Portable is currently in France and from videos he’s shared on social media so far, one can tell he’s having a great time away from home.
He shared a video of himself in a luxury clothes store in France, where he had gone to get a new set of designer outfits for himself.
In the clip, as he brought out cash from his bag to pay the attendant, the Zazu Zeh, who bragged that he frequents the store, threw shade at Hushpuppi.
Portable declared that he’s bigger than Husppuppi and reiterated that he isn’t into fraud like the embattled socialite who, before his arrest, was using proceeds from fraud to fund his lifestyle.
“I don’t use fraud to buy clothes. Legit money. I fine pass Hushpuppi. Na everyday I dey come Zara. Zara is my own Katangua. You dey wine Jesus”, he explained in Yoruba to the person filming him.

A while ago, Portable reacted after a man claimed he bought a cloth from a roadside stall just days after boasting about spending N50 million on designer clothing.
It would be recalled that the singer made headlines a few days ago after he bragged about owning more designer outfits than embattled Nigerian socialite, Hushpuppi.
Speaking in an interview with Factory 78, ‘Zazu Zeh’ star, Portable, disclosed that he spends as much as 50 million naira on just clothes.
However, to apparently counter Portable’s claim, a social media user claimed the celebrity bought one of his outfits, a brown winter jacket, from a hand-me-down roadside stall.
To support his allegation, the man posted a video of a jacket similar to the one Portable was recently seen wearing during a video shoot, hanging from a rack inside the stall.
Well, Portable has now reacted, stating that he didn’t buy the jacket as it was given to him by a stylist during the video shoot. Watch video here.
A 28-year-old Nigerian man has reportedly committed suicide because he believed his parents loved his siblings more than him.
The young man, who’s the second child of five children, is said to have taken the drastic decision to end his own life to spite his parents.
A Twitter user who claimed to be familiar with the family of the deceased and attended the funeral said the deceased always felt his parents treated his siblings better than him, despite all their efforts to make him feel loved.
He’s said to have attended one of the best schools in Nigeria and abroad. His father sent him abroad when he almost got expelled for an offense at a private university in Nigeria, but he loathed his parents for it and saw the gesture as his father sending him away from home to save face.
The Twitter user further revealed that upon graduation, the young man came back to Nigeria to manage his father’s company. He owns his own car, a house, and a beautiful fiancée, but even with all these accomplishments, he ultimately committed suicide last Friday and was buried yesterday, October 17.
It was gathered that his parents were not at the funeral for cultural reasons, and his siblings, who are all abroad, couldn’t attend.
“I was at the burial of a 28 year old man today. He was the second child of 5 children. Went to all the best schools both in Nigeria and abroad, At 28 he was the manager of his father’s business. He owned his own house and cars He was engaged to a beautiful lady but he was always complaining that his parents didn’t love him as much as they love the other children.
“Nothing anybody told him changed that conviction. He loathed his mother and disliked his father He said the other children were better loved and he would hold on to any excuse to prove his point”, the tweet read in part.

The marriage of the couple, who are said to have tied the knot in a grand ceremony in September 2022, hit rock bottom barely a month later, after the wife saw multiple disturbing videos of her husband having sex with underaged boys.
Apparently, the wife, who was oblivious to that dark side of her partner before marriage, got the shock of her life when she stumbled on the videos.
A Twitter user who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform said the husband is currently on the run, while the community head has launched a search for him.

The family of late Big Brother Naija star, Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey, has announced the arrangements for his funeral.
Rico died on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in a hospital in Lagos from injuries he sustained from a fatal car crash.
Plans for his funeral were shared on Twitter on Tuesday morning, October 18.
According to the obituary released by his family and management team, a night of tribute and candlelight walk will take place at Retro Citi, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Wednesday, October 19.
This will be followed by a private service at the Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu Square, and he will be laid to rest at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, on Thursday, October 20.
The obituary was shared on his verified Twitter handle with the caption,
“With a heavy heart, we invite all friends and fans of Rico Swavey to his tribute night/candle light walk tomorrow as we witness a star supernova. Thank you all”.
In other news, a policeman got arrested for the murder of two women, aged 18 and 24, in Durban, South Africa.
The incident is reported to have taken place in Mandela Park, KwaNyuswa, west of Durban, in the early hours of Friday morning, October 14, 2022.
The 18-year-old victim, identified as one Njabulo Enhle Majozi, is said to be the suspect’s girlfriend. According to reports, the cop shot the other woman first and Enhle tried to run away. He allegedly shot her outside then dragged her back into the house to create a fake crime scene.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) spokesperson, Lizzy Suping, who confirmed the incident stated that a preliminary investigation is under way and the cop was arrested.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Margaret Bandele Olayinka, otherwise known as Iya Gbonkan, has recounted how she was repeatedly attacked by witches because she played the movie role of a witch.
Speaking in an interview, Iya Gbonkan, who is popular for playing the role of a witch in most Yoruba movies and stirred fear in the hearts of both children and adults because of her scary roles, said real life witches started visiting her around 12 midnight dailyafter she featured in her first film.
The 64-year-old actress also recalled a time when she was beaten black and blue by witches because she refused to join their coven, and was left with a swollen face.
According to her, she was thankful that her late husband was still alive at the time, and he stood by her. She added that she was fortunate enough to survive the numerous attacks because God was on her side, and still went ahead to play more witch roles.
Explaining why she vehemently refused to join the witchcraft coven, Iya Gbonkan said she is a mother and can not feed on the blood of innocent people, adding that witchcraft is not in her lineage and it won’t start with her.
A young Nigerian lady has taken to social media to call out her father for physically assaulting her mother at the slightest provocation.
The lady with Twitter handle @koladeprincess who resides in Lokoja, Kogi state, said her mother has been suffering severe abuse in the hands of her father since they got married because he never loved her. She said he has repeatedly threatened to kill her, divorce her and accuses her of witchcraft.
Kolade said her mother endures the pain and abuses because of her and her siblings. According to her, her abusive father, said to be a pharmacist, is the one sponsoring their education and they might be forced to drop out of school if they leave.

A Nigerian man has been rescued alive three days after floods reportedly carried him away along the East-West Road in Bayelsa state.
The man was discovered alive in the same location, according to community manager Akpos Malafakumo Best, who posted photos of the man on social media.
Akpos said the man was in the water for three days, holding onto a stick for three days and three nights before he was discovered.
The photos Akpos shared showed rescuers evacuating the stranded man to safety with the use of a canoe.
“This young man was swept away by the water current at this very spot East-West Road 3days ago. He had been in the water holding onto a stick for 3 days and night, only to be rescued today alive. Please, don’t travel East-West & Ugheli-Bayelsa roads for now.” Akpo’s wrote on Twitter.

A married man made a scene after he caught his wife in a car with a popular Cameroonian singer, Longue Longue.
It was gathered that the wife had left the house a day prior after telling her husband that she was traveling to another town.
The husband, who was left with the kids, went to the market to buy foodstuffs to cook for them when he spotted his wife with the singer, a source claims.
A video from the scene, currently making the rounds online, shows the husband attempting to drag his wife out of the singer’s red car.
However, the wife resisted and stayed stuck to the car seat as the distraught husband tried to drag her out.
The singer, Longue, on his part, kept hurling insults at the husband. “Your mother! Your mother!” Longue Longue kept telling the enraged husband in French.

Nigerian filmmaker, Irebami Olakanmi has recounted how she was emotionally abused and tortured by her ex-boyfriend over football.
The single mum of one, who took to Twitter to open up about her domestic violence experience at the hands of her estranged boyfriend, narrated how he forced her to support his club, Chelsea FC, and became abusive whenever the team lost.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to reveal that his brother has employed their father several years after he was disowned over religious reasons.
According to @bobola__, his brother started a pig/pork business years ago, which is considered ‘haram’ (Arabic word for ‘forbidden’) in Islam. Due to his decision to venture into the business, their father disowned him.
Fortunately for his brother, the business became very successful and he returned home, and sent their send their father on a pilgrimage to Mecca.
Interestingly, the father who was strongly against the business, now has a change of heart and is working as the manager of the pig farm.

Bobrisky’s ailing fan, Lord Casted, has replied to the crossdresser after he suggested that he contracted HIV from unprotected sexual intercourse.
The drama started a few days ago when Lord Casted, a one-time staunch fan of Bob who inked his tattoo on his body in 2021, cried out that he had contracted HIV from the machine that was used to draw the tattoo on his body.
He pleaded with Bobrisky and well-meaning Nigerians for financial support for his medical treatment.
However, reacting, Bobrisky told Lord Casted to stop lying about contracting the ailment as a result of the tattoo. He suggested that Lord Casted got the disease from having unprotected sexual relations.
“Use condom una np go hear, e don happen na bob must suffer it”, Bobrisky wrote in part.
Borisky also accused Lord Casted of trying to emotionally blackmail him rather than asking for help.
Well, Lord Casted has now reacted, insisting that he contracted HIV as a result of inking Bobrisky’s face on his body.
He further debunked Bob’s claim that he got HIV from sexual intercourse, while revealing that he’s never had sex, as he’s still a virgin.

Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has stirred mixed reactions online after she shared a purported HIV test result of popular Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna otherwise known as IVD.
This is coming after a video capturing the moment his deceased wife, Bimbo, claimed that he is a carrier of the virus was shared online.
Recall that Bimbo passed away over the weekend after being burnt beyond recognition during a fight with her husband.
Amid the family saga that has rocked the internet, controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has released IVD’s alleged HIV test result conducted at Clear View hospital, Lekki, Lagos, and it showed that he is HIV negative.
Sharing a copy of the result, Kemi wrote, “I obtained permission to post car mogul (IVD) Ikechukwu Darrius Ogbonna’s HIV Test of October 16th 2022 that I spoke about earlier. Apparently late Bimbo’s friends were spreading around the rumors she said on a video he posted. He doesn’t have HIV🦠”
