The thespian, who is married to ailing Nollywood icon, Olu Jacobs, took to her Instagram page to mark her new age.

She shared a beautiful picture of herself and captioned it with a Yoruba song that expressed how grateful she is to be alive.

According to her, she is thankful to God for his abundant grace, mercy and favour upon her life.

Udie Ugwuaye Gift, the twin sister of Blessing Kona Udie, the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) student murdered alongside singer, Chop Boii and two others in Abuja, has taken to social media to mourn her.

It was reported earlier that Blessing, Chop Boi, his producer, and another friend were murdered at the singer’s home in Gwarimpa by unknown assailants who chopped off their fingers and also wrote on the wall with their blood.

The bereaved sister, in a touching Facebook post mourning her sister’s tragic demise, said she doesn’t know how to break the news of Blessing’s death to their mother.

“It is very hard to believe you are no more. Very hard to type. Very hard to say. Very hard to look at your beautiful face. My twin. My look alike. My joy. My only hope. I can’t still believe. How will I start. What will I tell mummy. Rip twins sister.” She wrote.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, has disclosed that the police have launched an investigation to unravel the mystery behind the attack.

“Yes we are investigating. It is a case of suspected culpable homicide, the wife of one of the deceased, one Queen Blue Jack had earlier informed the Police of not knowing the whereabouts of her husband who left home with a friend and all efforts to reach them both proved abortive.

Upon receipt of this information, a team of detectives attached to the Gwarimpa division was drafted to the scene where her husband and three other persons were found dead in their pool of blood.

The Bodies were taken to the hospital for possible medical intervention but were confirmed dead by a doctor on duty. The deceased was deposited at the Kubwa General Hospital morgue, discrete investigations have commenced and emerging developments will be communicated subsequently”. she said.

Onyedinka Esiala, a middle-aged man, was caught in Lagos begging for alms with children who had fake stomach tumors.

On Wednesday, September 28, 2022, Esiala, from Enugu State, was exposed by a passerby identified as Benefit in Mile 2.

The suspect told Vanguard that his alleged boss, Uche, started the scam and gave the children unknown drugs to make their stomachs swell. He claimed that Uche brings children to Lagos yearly when he travels to the east.

“My name is Onyedinka and I am from Enugu State. My oga is Uche. When I came from the village, I did not get any work to do; then he told me to be helping him to be taking these children out for begging.” he said.
“Whenever I am about to take the kids from Orile to Mile 2 pedestrian bridge, my Oga will give them drugs though I don’t know the name of the medicines which will make their stomach get swollen for some hours, and the kids’ mothers are aware of the business. Their mothers stay in the village.
The children were staying with them in the village before they gave them to my Oga to come to Lagos. The girls are not my sisters, but their mother often brings them to my Oga. Some kids stay a year with us, and half of the money made from begging is sent to their mothers in the village. My Oga does give them black drugs. I don’t know the name of the drugs. My Oga did not tell me the name but it’s a black drug.
My Oga brought one of the kids last year December while the other girl has spent three months with us. There is a boy among them but did not come today because he is not feeling too well.
We do not come every day. We sometimes come three times in a week. My oga’s name is Uche and we have another set of people that stay at Ajagbadi, but I don’t know the exact place. The person that handles that of Ajagbadi is different from the one handling us in Mile 2. The name is Goodluck, but he is currently not in Lagos, he traveled, and his younger brother is in charge” he added

The suspect was transported to the Nigeria Police Station Area E, Festac for more questioning after being thoroughly interrogated.

Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has reacted after a fan who inked his face on his arm disclosed that he has been suffering a strange ailment as a result of the tattoo.

During the ‘celebrity tattoo pandemic’ in 2021, the fan, identified as Lord Casted, was one of the overzealous fans who tattooed the name/face of the crossdresser on their bodies.

At the time, Lord Casted went viral on the internet after he and his mother begged Bobrisky to help them in a video where they showed the fresh ink. After which Bobrisky invited him to his home.

In a new development, the fan, who has been on the low, resurfaced online as he cried out for help from Nigerians, stating that he contracted an undisclosed ailment from the machine used to draw the tattoo on his body.

Speaking in a new video, Lord Casted, who looked thin and frail, claimed he has been going through a lot since the strange ailment befell him.

Reacting to this development, Bobrisky went live on his Instagram page to clarify that he didn’t force anyone to draw a tattoo of his name or face on their bodies.

According to him, those who inked his name, including the embattled fan, did it because they were expecting a reward from him as he gifted the first lady who inked his name one million naira and other gifts.

The male barbie reiterated that he didn’t force the young man to draw the tattoo so he doesn’t have a hand in his predicament.

A final year student of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Blessing Kona Udie, has been identified as one of the four persons gruesomely murdered in Abuja.

The microbiology student, along with a popular Abuja-based singer, Chop Boii, and two others, were brutally murdered by unknown assailants in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja on Tuesday, September 27.

It was gathered that their fingers were cut off by the assailants, who also used their blood to write on the wall.

The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident, said the police have launched an investigation to unravel the mystery behind the attack.

Meanwhile, family, friends, and course mates of the deceased have trooped to social media to mourn her sad demise.

A man has taken to Facebook to mourn the death of his sister, Pauline Ogbeche, killed in a fatal accident in the Ajah area of Lagos.

The young man, identified as Michael Ogbeche, said the accident took place in the wee hours of Tuesday when some yet-to-be identified men were engaged in car racing.

He said one of the drivers, who was on high speed, rammed his car into the coaster bus conveying his sister and other crew members to their hotel, causing the bus to summersault.

According to Michael, his sister who was fast asleep was thrown out of the bus through a window, landed on the road and died on the spot.

Taking to social media to mourn her sad demise, Michael wrote,

“On a sad note we lost Pauline (my sister) in the early hours of Tuesday. Some evil guys doing a race on the side of the road to Ajah, one of their cars flew to the the lane where the coaster bus was and hit it bad causing the bus carrying crew and actors to their hotel to somersaulted in the process.

“Pauline was sleeping. She was thrown out of the bus through the glass window and only God knows how and where she landed.

“5 female sisters.. now left with 2. God will keep them for me. Posting can’t solve anything. Only prayer and mourn with us.

“And by the special grace of God we the family of Late Miss Paulina Ogbeche will follow her corps down to her father’s house Benue state as early as possible on Friday after wake keeping on Thursday evening for final interment.

In a viral video, the lady who appeared to have a head lice infestation sobbed uncontrollably as “giant” blood-sucking lice were plucked from her hair.

Sharing the video on TikTok, the lady lamented the discomfort and explained how overwhelming it was for her to realize that such a bug had been in her hair for such a long time.

In the trending video, the female student, identified as @bad_bennyy, said she started feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit during a lecture and had to leave the class so she doesn’t cause a scene.

The young lady, who was standing in a corridor in the video, said the power of the Holy Spirit was so heavy on her that she tried to suppress it by distracting herself but she couldn’t control it.

NSCDC’s first outrider dies while performing motorbike stunt in Abuja

The first outrider of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dickson Dike (ASC), has been killed in a ghastly accident in Abuja.

Until his sudden death, Dickson was the motorbike escort rider of the NSCDC Commandant-General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi.

According to reports, he was leading his boss’ convoy on Tuesday evening, September 27, when he ran into a culvert while driving at top speed and died on the spot.

A source who spoke to a popular news outlet said,

“The commandant-general had just closed from work on Tuesday evening and was heading home when the incident happened at an intersection close to his official residence in the Federal Capital Territory.

“Dickson was said to have attempted a stunt near a major intersection before Mr Audi’s residence at Asokoro Extension. After passing the intersection and attempting a U-turn to join the rest of the convoy, he missed the brakes and ran into a concrete culvert while on high speed.”

The spokesperson of NSCDC, Mr Shola Odumosu, confirming the incident, said,

“The entire management and staff of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) mourns a very gallant officer, ASC I Dickson Dike, the first outrider of the corps. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

More details have emerged about the gruesome murder of popular Abuja-based singer, Anpe Pankyes, better known as Chop Boii.

It was earlier reported that the singer, who hails from Plateau State, and three of his friends were found murdered with their fingers cut off at his residence at 62 Crescent, Gwarimpa.

Chop Boi’s friend, @HrhWheelz, who shared the news on Twitter, said that the singer was working on a new song with his producer friend and two others when they were attacked.

According to him, their fingers were cut off by the assailants, who also used their blood to write on the wall. He also stated that Chob Boii was not the target of the attack, but he was simply caught up in the wrong place.

Giving details about the incident on Twitter, another friend of the deceased said the killers were allowed into the compound by the security guard because the producer has a mini studio in his living room and it was “routine” for people to come in.

It was gathered that when the police arrived, they found a gruesome scene.

According to the friend, Chop Boi’s hands and legs were tied and his head was bashed, while Blessing was hacked to death, and Beerolings’ head was broken open and his brains were on the floor, according to the friend.

Meanwhile, neighbors heard the victims scream and then heard people singing “Happy Birthday,” so they dismissed the shouts as a rowdy birthday celebration.

Chop Boii’s severed hand was reportedly used to write “Him” on the wall.

A video showing the moment popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid, told one of his dancers that she would end up with a baby boy if he sleeps with her is currently making rounds online.

Wizkid, a father of three boys from different mothers, made this statement during a live performance with a group of dancers at a concert. However, it’s not clear where and when the concert took place.

During the show, Wizkid stopped the band mid-performance to address the dancer who was dancing passionately to his hit song with indigenous singer, Kcee, “Pull Over”.

Speaking to the dancer, the 32-year-old singer said she’s aware that he doesn’t make too much effort in bed and any woman he sleeps with gives birth to a male child. He added that if he spends a single night with her, she would also deliver a baby boy.

“Baby girl, you know say Starboy no dey do too much. If I knack you one, na boy”, he said.

The dancer, reacting to Wizkid’s statement, opened her mouth in shock while the audience also screamed and hailed the singer.

Big Brother Naija season 7 rider housemate, Rachel, has apologized to evicted housemate, Sheggz, weeks after their messy fight over food.

Recall that Sheggz had sworn on his mother’s life that Rachel would beg him before December following the clash.

Background story: Earlier in the month, Sheggz had a serious fight with Rachel because she served his love interest, Bella, beef when everyone knows she doesn’t like beef.

Rachel, who prepared dinner for all the housemates, said Bella was the one who requested for beef instead of chicken. The professional footballer didn’t buy her explanation and called her ‘stupid’ for her action.

This aggravated Rachel and she lambasted him and his entire generation for calling her ‘stupid’. The fight degenerated into a fiery war of words and they began insulting each other.

Bella, who was the subject of contention, took her man’s side and berated Rachel for insulting Sheggz’s generation.

She also angrily returned the plate of food back to Rachel and in the process, it poured on the dining table. However, it’s not clear if she intentionally poured the food away.

Following the verbal altercation, emotions were still high and Sheggz threatened Rachel, saying if she doesn’t beg him before December, then he is not who he says he is. Watch the video here.

“Rachel, I’m telling you, if you don’t beg me this year, my name is not Segun. Go and write it down; laugh about it, I swear on my mother’s life. You’re mad!” he said as he walked away angrily.

Interestingly, only a few weeks after, Rachel has apologized to Sheggz for insulting him.

She made the unreserved apology during a conversation with Sheggz’s love interest, Bella, last night as they revisited the fight.

“I swear sheggz would have blocked me on social media. Please tell him to forgive me, I didn’t really mean to insult him”, she said in part.

Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has said that nothing can ever make him slip into depression.

The internet celebrity stated this while questioning the reason people fall into depression.

Taking to his Instagram page, Bob asked how people get into depression, noting that nothing on earth can cause him to be in such a state.

He claims that nothing on earth, no matter how challenging a situation may be for him, can make him fall into depression.

“But guys I want to ask a simple question? How do people get into depression? Cos me nothing on dis earth can make me go into depression o ! No matter hard it look I’m gonna face it like the shim I am”. He wrote.

This comes following reports that a popular Nigerian business magnate, Laolu Martins, committed suicide after an alleged long battle with depression.

Martins, an investment banking expert who was also the co-founder and executive director of popular restaurant chain, Bukka Hut, is said to have ended it all in his home in the early hours of Tuesday, September 27.

It was gathered that Martins, despite his career success, had been battling depression for a while now before he ultimately took his own life at around 3 am on Tuesday. TheWill reports.

The deceased was a chartered stockbroker and a chartered accountant with 12 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, stockbroking, asset management, and pension fund management.

Until his death, he was the CEO of Nigeria International Security Limited (NISL), an independent financial services firm specializing in investments in Nigeria.

18-year-old girl becomes 2nd wife of her mother’s boss after following her mum’s advice to get pregnant for him

A Nigerian lady has narrated how a mother advised her 18-year-old daughter to have an affair with her married boss.

The lady, identified as Ada Uzoigwe Mbajekwe, who narrated the story in a social media post, said the mother worked as a nanny at the home of a wealthy couple who reside in Lekki, Lagos state.

In an attempt to make a place for herself in the house, she reportedly sent her daughter to seduce her employer, and he fell for her. The married boss and the nanny’s daughter started an affair, she fell pregnant and he took her as a second wife.

In other news, a Nigerian lady has accused her husband of threatening to kill her following years of abuse and she released proof to back her claims.

The mother of three on her Facebook page, shared a screenshot of the message she claims was sent to her by her estranged husband, one Mr Tony Oluwatoyin Mike Uche.

In the message, Tony allegedly told her that the next time he sees her, they will see who will die first. He also told her that the battle line has been drawn and asked her to prepare both physically and spiritually.

The lady, who is a chef, explained that the recent threat came following years of abuse. According to her, all through the seven years they were married, he abused her a lot of times and she had to “flee” to her parents’ house often to recover from the injuries she sustained.

On one such violent episode, she lost a pregnancy of 8 months. She revealed that the police station has several records of him signing undertakings not to harm her again.

She also added that he also destroyed her business equipment during their marriage. According to her, she is now estranged from him and has instructed her lawyer to begin a divorce process but he recently accosted her when she was returning home and attacked her before pulling out a knife.

She explained that it took a security guard to pull him from her otherwise she fears what the outcome would have been.

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Hermes has shared his candid opinion about the relationship between his co-stars, Sheggz and Bella.

Speaking in an interview with Beat FM, Hermes said the first impression he had about Sheggz was that he was a bad boy and a player.

According to him, he expected Sheggz to be a playboy who would flirt and pursue different ladies in the house but was surprised at his commitment to his lover, Bella.

He stated that Sheggz treated Bella well in the house, served her breakfast in bed, pampered and did her biddings with no questions asked. He added that Sheggz only had eyes for Bella and it was beautiful to see!

Speaking further, Hermes said Sheggz set a high standard by which other ladies wanted to be treated in the house and it was difficult for other male housemates to meet this standard.

In other news, Sheggz recently spoken on his relationship with his love interest, Bella.

Following his eviction on Sunday, Sheggz, in an interview with media personality Ebuka, spoke on how he knew Bella was the one for him and addressed some misconceptions about him.

According to the professional footballer, he piqued interest in Bella from their first night because of her sincerity after he saw how she pulled off her wig without caring on the first night.

He noted that seeing this, he believed she was real and there was more to her, which made him get close to her in order to get to know her better, and the interest evolved into love.

Sheggz says it’s disheartening to see the wrong narrative being peddled about him when, in all truth, he’s been nice and treats his woman, Bella, like a queen.

He recalled how he makes food for Bella and prays for her every morning, but sadly, no one is talking about these things but rather accusing him of treating Bella badly.

He told Ebuka that his feelings for Bella are genuine and that he wishes to marry her.

He said he sees himself finally ending up with Bella, as he has always said in the house, and he hopes Ebuka will be able to attend their wedding.

Former Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Sheggz has spoken on the constant fights and misunderstandings he had with his lover, Bella.

Recall that the BBNaija couple had several altercations in the house and broke up countless times but always found their way back to each other.

On numerous occasions, Sheggz seemingly insulted Bella, called her unprintable names and compared her to his ex-girlfriends. On the flip side, he showered her with love, care and affection which could be termed as ‘princess treatment’.

Well, the recently evicted housemate is currently doing his media rounds. In his interview with Beat FM, he was asked if he perceived the way he spoke to Bella as emotional abuse.

“Do you think the way you spoke to her(Bella) at times can be deemed as Emotionally Abusive?” the interviewer asked.

Responding, Sheggz said he never directly insulted or disrespected Bella, and it’s sad that people are misconstruing his relationship with her.

According to him, he spoke with Bella the same way he speaks with his male friends and he jokingly insults his friends without meaning it.

The 26-year-old actor further stated that the arguments were not as serious as it was portrayed on national TV, adding that the show didn’t capture the full scope of their relationship because they were not the only housemates being aired.

Lady narrates how a prophetess destroyed her family after prophesying that her father would use her for rituals (Video)

A young Nigerian lady, simply identified as Vanexxa, has recounted how a prophetess destroyed her family with a false prophecy.

The lady in a heartbreaking video that’s making the rounds online said trouble started in their home when a prophet gave a false prophecy about her father using her for rituals.

Vanexxa recounted her horrific childhood experience, saying that as a seven-year-old girl it was traumatizing to see her parents fight every day and never seem to agree on anything.

She said most of the time, her father would leave the house for months without anyone knowing his whereabouts after tumultuous fights with her mother.

She said that amid the unrest in their home, her mother took her to a prophet to pray that her father would change for the better. The prophet then told her that her father would use her for ritual.

To make matters worse, she fell ill shortly afterward, and her mother concluded that her father was trying to kill her for ritual. However, at the hospital, it was confirmed she had food poisoning.

“My childhood was a mess. My dad and my mom will fight and my dad will leave the house for months. My mum will beg me to call my dad and tell him that I’ve not eaten and that he should come back home because we need him.

“My dad will come back home and my parents will fight again. My mum then took my dad to a church for deliverance. One pastor prophesized that my dad will use me for blood money. After this my parents fought again and I begged my dad to come back home. After begging my dad one fateful day, he bought me suya while returning home.

“I ate it and the next day, my tummy got swollen and I was purging. I was taken to the hospital and the doctor said it was food poisoning. My mum quickly remembered what the pastor said and concluded that my dad wanted to kill me and that the prophecy is true. The doctor later explained that it was a natural ailment not spiritual and that my dad was innocent”.
