Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Adekunle, took a swipe at fellow housemate, Bella, during a fight over dirty plates on Friday morning.
The drama started when Bella spotted a plate Adekunle had used to eat dinner the night before on the table. She queried why he left a dirty plate on the table and accused him of being one of those who pile their plates in the house sink without washing them.
Adekunle then tried to explain that he deliberately left the plate on the table so he could wash it when he was ready and his plate wouldn’t get mixed up with the piled up dirty plates in the sink.
However, Bella wasn’t having his explanation as she continued to tackle him for not washing his plate after eating.
As they went back and forth with Adekunle trying to justify his action, he took a swipe at Bella, stating that she’s not intelligent.
As he left the lounge to the kitchen to do the dish, Adekunle said it was pointless trying to explain himself to Bella as she’s not brilliant.
“I’m just wasting my energy explaining to you, you are not particularly brilliant”, he told Bella.
Twitter personality,Sally Suleiman, has caused quite a stir on social media after she averred that a wedding that costs N10 million is a small wedding.
Sally, in her tweet, opined that N10 million is not enough to finance a big wedding in Nigeria considering the present reality and it’s for people in ‘middle class trenches’.
According to her, she planned a family member’s wedding with a budget of N10 million in 2014 and it didn’t do much, talk less of now.

A young man has faced heavy criticism on social media for the way he treated his mother at his graduation ceremony.
In a video serving the round online, the young man who was graduating and dressed in a black graduation garb walked out on his mother, who tried to offer him a ribbon.
The mum, who was visibly ecstatic that her son was graduating, dashed towards him with a floral ribbon to place on his neck, but he clearly wasn’t having it.
As his mother got to him with the blue ribbon and attempted to place it on his neck, he used his hand to shove the ribbon aside before he walked out.
According to him, it was embarrassing to see her bringing a ribbon to place on his neck amid the crowd during his graduation.
The mother glanced at the ribbon as he walked away, looking dejected.

Big Brother Naija season 7 winners, Chizzy and Rachel, have been evicted from the show.
You would recall that the duo were unveiled as Biggie’s riders two weeks into the season. As riders, Rachel and Chizzy could participate in the house tasks but were not allowed to compete for the grand prize.
Well, ahead of the grand finale on Sunday, October 2, last night Rachel and Chizzy’s time in the Big Brother house came to an end as the show host, Ebuka announced their eviction during a surprise visit to the house.
Ebuka had dinner with the housemates on Friday night, and moments after dining and chatting with them, he announced that Rachel had been evicted, although he didn’t mention that she wasn’t a real housemate.
After Rachel said her goodbyes to the housemates, Ebuka then added that Chizzy is also out of the show. He, however, also didn’t disclose his rider status to the housemates.
With Chizzy and Rachel’s exit, there are six finalists: Phyna, Bryann, Bella, Daniella, Chichi, and Adekunle, battling for the prize during the 100 million grand prize on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Chizzy’s eviction came after he won a brand new five-seater IVM Connect car during the Innoson task on Thursday.

A 22-year-old guy named Benedict Musa Haziel has been arrested by the police in Adamawa for reportedly stabbing a man named Luka following an argument over his fiancée, Blessing.
In order to show Blessing’s family that he was interested in getting married to her, the 22-year-old native of Nasarawo Jereng in the Mayo Belwa Local Government Area offered them N15, 000. The victim was also hitting on Blessing, which infuriated Benedict. Benedict allegedly told the deceased to quit going out with Blessing on numerous occasions, but he disregarded the advice and persisted in doing so.
Benedict, who was planning to attend a pastoral school, recalled that on August 18, he followed Blessing to Luka’s house and found her there. After an argument with Luka, he stabbed him in the buttocks with a knife, Luka died as a result of the bleeding.

A Nigerian man has donated the sum of N500,000 to support the campaign of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The young man identified as @RichMoney001, who revealed this on his social media page, urged Peter Obi not to disappoint if he wins the presidential election in 2023, and he added that the money he donated is his 9 months savings.
According to the staunch Obi supporter, he considers the donation as his contribution to a better Nigeria, and promises to donate more before the election.

A young lady had a horrifying microblading experience that left her with severe eyebrow injuries.
Apparently, the lady had paid for the popular cosmetic procedure that sees tiny needles pierce the skin with semi-permanent pigment to create strokes that resemble brow hair for fuller-looking eyebrows.
Sadly, the artist botched her microblading procedure. The lady who would have been excited to get her brows microbladed was left with major brow damage.

An African lady living in Australia has gone online to narrate how she ended up getting married to a man she blocked on social media.
The lady, in a video she posted on TikTok, said her husband, then stranger, used to bombard her with messages on Instagram in 2016 and she had to block him because he was becoming a nuisance.

because it was clear to me he went on there to try change the narrative.

and within an hour this video is EVERYWHERE and I’m being tagged left right centre and my phone is going off non-stop. Not even a day or 2 maybe even 3…But an hour? Come on.
I watched the show when it first started and I was disgusted and I couldn’t rate what I was seeing
I was even getting annoyed for him, thinking can people just let this be and judge him based on the show and not this video, as we all deserve a second chance and we all make mistakes.
I then realised this was all a strategy, because how has he gone in the house
The next day he goes on BBN and in less than an hour of him being in the house, a reaction video to the video I made in 2020 starts circulating all over social media.
I was confused because I didn’t get it at the time. I proceeded to wished him good luck and told him to be himself. People are either going to love or hate you but regardless just be yourself. Those were my last words to him.
I said no way, that could never happen. Too much has happened for one, I was finding peace and no amount of begging can jeopardise that.

I stupidly sent him a message as I was in a vulnerable state, because I was still healing and still healing from the situation.
Segun later called me and kept apologising for everything and even tried to impose that we should get back together.

A heartbroken Nigerian man has taken to social media to share the chat he received from his fiancée asking that they call off their wedding plans weeks after their introduction.
The young man, identified as @VershPeter, revealed they already had their wedding introduction, fixed a date for list collection, and other plans for the main wedding were also ongoing, when he received the message from his fiancée that she no longer wished to proceed with the wedding.
In the chat, the lady requested more time to think about her decision to settle down, stating that she’s scared of marriage.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to narrate how her genotype miraculously changed from AS to AA.
The lady, identified as Jossy Paul, shared the testimony on Thursday, September 29, when another Nigerian lady lamented about how her genotype had brought her so much pain.
Jossy, who urged the lady to completely trust God for a miracle, narrated how God changed her genotype and did the same for her partner.
According to her, God gave her the miracle as a birthday gift in 2014.
“God did it for me, He changed mine from AS to AA, and did the same for him. God is not a respecter of persons, if He can do it for one, He can do it for all. Let’s trust God for u dear,” Jossy said.

Popular actress, Halima Abubakar, has reacted after famous clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman, threatened to sue her if she fails to retract her accusations against him.
Halima has in recent times accused the controversial clergyman of having sexual intercourse with her after lying about his marital status.
She also accused him of reneging on his promise to marry her and said he was behind a strange ailment that has plagued her for years, causing her stomach to swell.
The 37-year-old actress, who took to her Instagram page to make this accusations, also said the clergyman should be held responsible if anything happens to her.
“Pls don’t worry about me. But you can hold Johnson Suleman responsible, just in case.
“You can’t do anything, though. Nigerians are aware. If anything happens, Johnson, it’s you’’, the 37-year-old actress wrote.
Well, in a new development, Apostle Suleman, through his legal representatives, Ephesus Lex Attorneys & Solicitors, issued a cease and desist notice to the actress.
In the notice, they stated that her accusations are false, malicious, defamatory and demeaning, and ordered that she desists from making further accusations.
They also ordered that she publish a report retracting the allegations in five national newspapers within three days from Thursday, September 29.
They also demanded that she repays the clergyman all the costs incurred in defending and protecting his reputation.
