A trending video on micro-blogging website, Twitter, shows the moment a young girl suffered incessant seizures and it has now raised cause for alarm.
According to reports, the girl was perfectly healthy but one day, herself and 10 other students of the Mary Mount Girls College, Agbor Delta State developed sudden seizures and it has even led to the death of one of the school girls.
A Netizen identified as Ada Idemmili shared the on her page and wrote;
This video is a perfectly healthy 13yrs old girl sent to Mary Mount Girls College Agbor. Until one day,she and 10 other students developed this nonstop seizure,one is late now.I urge Delta state ministry of Health and WHO to release the test result conducted on them.

In earlier tweets, Ada had also called on the State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa to look into the issue.

A Nigerian soldier, identified as Daniel Odih, has been killed by Boko Haram terrorists in Abuja just four days after his mother was murdered in Benue State.
Daniel was one of the soldiers killed during an attack on a military checkpoint near Zuma Rock on Thursday night, July 28.
It was gathered that the terrorists arrived Zuma Rock around 8:30pm and opened fire from different angles at the soldiers stationed at the checkpoint between Abuja and Niger State. Sadly, Daniel was one of the victims of the attack.
Writing in his tribute to the slain soldier, one Clement Excel said the deceased’s mother was killed by suspected herdsmen on her farm in Benue state on Monday, July 25.
He wrote,
“DOUBLE TRAGEDY BEFALL THE FAMILY OF LATE MR. SIMON ODIH OF OTUKPA. On Monday 25th July, 2022. His mother was gruesomely murdered in coldblooded by yet unidentified assailant right in her farm at Adumu Otukpa.
“Community and sympathies were thrown into mourning to unravel circumstances and perpetrators of the dastardly act.
“Tars flowed, hearts rended and bleed. Yet, Officer Daniel Odih could not had the opporturnity to mourn his MOTHER. Silently, he nurturned the brunt all alone. Hmmmm! As a brave soldier, He maintained his oath of office to defend his nation by whatever circumstances.
“Gallantly, he moved on dutifully in line of defence untill he paid the SUPREME PRICE for his NATION on 28th July, 2022 along Madala Zuba road at FCT, Abuja.
“OFFICER DANIEAL ODIH. Am in short of wods to express the vaccum you and your mother had created in the family. Both of you sunddenly left the world in a more tragic manner four days to each other. We love you both but God loves you most. May Almighty God grant both of you eternal rest in Christ Jesus. It is well with your soul.”
Another Facebook user, Ogbene Lucy Abraham, have also confirmed the sad development.
“I heard some soldiers were attacked last night at Zuma Rock checkpoint but I never knew it was you. We chatted yesterday and you were telling me how bad you felt about your mom who was killed three days ago in her farm. This is too hard for us Odih Daniel My heart is broken. RIP Oyine gallant officer, you’re a true soldier and you died at your POST,” he wrote.
NYSC mourns corps member murdered on her way to orientation camp in Ogun
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has mourned a corps member, Eunice Chioma Igweike, who was reportedly killed on her way to the orientation camp in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The deceased, a 2022 Batch B corps member, had left her house on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, for the three-week orientation course at the Ogun State NYSC camp, when she was abducted. She was found dead with vital parts of her body missing on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
The NYSC Director (Press and Public Relations), Eddy Megwa, stated in a statement on Saturday, July 30, that security agencies have launched an investigation into Igweike’s death.
The statement read,
“The attention of the NYSC management has been drawn to an online publication with the above caption making the rounds in the social media. To put the issues raised in proper perspective, the scheme indeed lost a prospective corps member by name, Miss Eunice Chioma Igweike, who set out for NYSC permanent orientation camp, Sagamu, Ogun State, having been deployed to the state for the national service under the 2022 Batch B service year
“A call by her elder brother to the NYSC on July 20, 2022 reporting that he had not been able to reach her sister on phone since her departure to NYSC Ogun camp from Aba, Abia State, prompted the scheme to contact the security agencies to know her whereabouts
“Sadly, on Thursday, July 21 2022, her remains which were intact, and not mutilated as reported in the media, were recovered along Sagamu-Imota Road and deposited in the morgue.
“The NYSC feels highly diminished by the death of Eunice Chioma Igweike, a promising young Nigerian that would have been a great ambassador of her family, contributing her quota to nation building. The Director-General NYSC, Brigadier General Mohammed Fadah, management and the entire members of NYSC family commiserate with Igweike Family on the demise of the young lady”.

A Nigerian model has taken to social media to lament bitterly after a beauty treatment that was supposed to give her glowing skin left her with a damaged face.
The beautiful light-skinned model, who had a blemish-free face, had gone for facials as part of her beauty routine. Regrettably, she developed skin irritations following the procedure, leaving her face burned and peeling.
The face, which appeared perfect just before the procedure, also had rashes all over it days after the facial.

American singer, Neyo, has finally reacted after his wife, Crystal Renay Smith, announced their split over claims of infidelity.
Crystal Smith, in a statement on her Instagram page on Sunday, announced the end of her eight-year marriage to Neyo.

“They put grinded bottle in my food” – Singer, TClassic recounts how he was poisoned in Abuja (video)
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tolulope Ajayi, professionally known as TClassic, has recounted how he was poisoned by a ‘friend’ in Abuja.
In April this year, it was reported that the ‘Nobody Fine Pass You’ hitmaker was hospitalized after being poisoned while he was hanging out with his friends.
Following the incident, Tclassic took to Twitter to share a photo of himself in a hospital bed and give an update on his health.
“Thanks for all the calls, Prayers and messages… Man is finally Getting Better. With Love ❤️ #ClassicalArmy”, he captioned the photo.
In a recent interview with TooXclusive, TClassic has shared some details about the horrific incident that almost claimed his life.
He said he was not fully aware of what transpired on the day of the incident because he was in pains but a doctor said he had grinded bottle particles in his body system.
According to him, the harmful substance was either added to a meal or drink he consumed.
In his words:
“The doctor said it was grinded bottle substance, I don’t know how that happened, the poison was like a grinded bottle in my drink or food I don’t know which one I was in Abuja that time, I was scared.”

This comes after Alex Ekubo’s ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu took to social media to apologise for her choice of words while announcing her separation from the actor.

Police arrest man who beat Nigerian man to death in Italy for complimenting his partner’s beauty
A 32-year-old Italian man has been arrested by the Italian police over the brutal killing of a Nigerian street-seller, Alika Ogorchukwu.
Alika, a 39-year-old Italy-based Nigerian man, was attacked and beaten to death by a white man on the streets of Civitanova Marche, a city located in the Province of Macerata, in the Marche Region of Italy.
A video from the attack, which found its way to the internet last week, showed how the white man hit and choked Alika while people stood by and watched.
It was gathered that Alika was attacked by the white man because he complimented his partner’s beauty.
Confirming Alika’s death, the Nigerian Embassy in Italy says the deceased was assaulted by the Italian man on a busy road in the full glare of passersby.
In a new development, the Italian police say 32-year-old Filippo Claudio Giuseppe Ferlazzo has been detained in connection with the killing.
He was tracked down using street cameras after the attack. The police say he is being held on suspicion of murder and theft.
According to the police, the deceased was selling goods at midday Friday on the main street of Civitanova Marche, a beach town on the Adriatic Sea coast, when an Italian man grabbed a crutch the street-seller used to walk and struck him down. Footage shows him being wrestled to the ground, despite attempts to fight back.
Police chief, Matteo Luconi, told Italian news channel Sky TG24 that onlookers called police, who responded to the scene after a suspect had fled and attempted to administer aid to the victim. It was not clear if he died at the scene. He said an autopsy will determine how he died.
Luconi told Sky TG24 that the assailant lashed out after the vendor made “insistent” requests for pocket change. He added that the police were questioning witnesses and had taken into evidence videos of the attack. They said the suspect has made no statements.
Alika who was married with two children, resorted to selling goods on the street after he was hit by a car and lost his job as a laborer due to the injuries he suffered.
Daniel Amanza, who runs the ACSIM, an association for immigrants in the Marche region’s Macerata province disclosed the accident left Alika with a limp, and needing crutches.
Amanza alleged that the aggressor became infuriated when Ogorchukwu told the man’s companion she was beautiful.
Meanwhile, the wife of the deceased Nigerian man, Charity Oriachi, has called for justice for her husband. Speaking to newsmen in Italy, the bereaved wife said,
“I need justice for my husband, that is what I want. Because it is too much, the pain is too much for me.”
Ebenezer Obey loses 48-yr-old son, Olayinka
Veteran Juju singer, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, has lost one of his sons, Olayinka Olalekan Obey-Fabiyi.
According to family sources, the late Olayinka died on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 48 and was laid to rest on Saturday, July 30.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of his death was yet to be ascertained.
In other news, the suspected Kidnappers of Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel aka Agbogidi, have demanded the sum of $100,000 for their release.
Recall that Okereke and Clemson, who are members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), were abducted on their way from a movie set in Ozalla Town in Enugu State, on Thursday, July 28.
The AGN national president, Emeka Rollas gave this update while speaking with Premium times, said ;
“The kidnappers have made contact with the families and are demanding the sum of $100,000. We pray to God for his intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst.
We are also working closely with the different security operatives, but we are not sure what to expect from them because the same thing is happening everywhere in the country.”
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, while giving an update on the matter on Friday, also disclosed that all the money in Cynthia Okereke’s account had been cleared.

Guard dog lies down next to its drug gang owners during police raid
A dog has been dubbed as the “world’s most useless guard dog” after it was spotted lying down beside its owners during a drug raid.
In a footage that was shared online, cops are seen arresting three men on a ranch in Hortolandia, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. The three suspects were seen lying face-down on the floor with their hands cuffed behind their backs.
Their massive Rottweiler decided that it’s best to be compliant with officers and also laid down beside them.
Officers seized 1,176 bricks containing 1.1 tonnes of cannabis from the property. Narcotics Police said the drugs was shipped to the house in Hortolandia from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul state.
It is believed the drugs were to be sold in and around Campinas, Sao Paulo state.
While the men, one of whom owns the house, were taken to the Narcotics Police headquarters in nearby Americana, the dog remained in the property with the woman who owns the land around the house, who police say is not involved in drug trafficking.
It was also revealed that cops will return to the ranch to check on the Rottweiler and two other dogs to see if animal protection services are needed.

Presumably like Jon and Ese in the “See Gobbe” edition of the show back in 2017, two fake housemates were unveiled on Sunday July 31, in the Big Brother Naija Level Up season.
Ebuka who gave the announcement on the Sunday live show, revealed that the fake housemates will be carrying out particular duties in the coming days and viewers should be on the look out for this.

Deji Morafa
Deji was introduced first and he promised to be as real as it gets as well as spontaneous and of course put his faith on his hot body to keep the game sizzling. Deji’s blood red outfit spoke volumes as it showed off his torso, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
Modella
Modella who describes herself as the content queen the House needs, came on stage full of energy in a pure white bedazzled gown which is exactly what she promises Biggie fans. Africa will have to wait and see.
When Modella made her entrance into Level 2, the Housemates paused for a moment as if they were seeing a ghost. It was only when she spelled it out to them that she’s the new Housemate that she finally got a reaction.

Popular Nigerian Cleric, Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministry has yet again tackled those who make their money through illegal means.
The pastor recently stopped internet fraudsters popularly called ‘Yahoo boys’ from remitting tithes and offerings to the church.
Speaking while delivering a sermon on Sunday, Pastor Ibiyeomie condemned the menace of cybercrime in Nigeria which is reportedly now being accompanied with ‘blood ritual’.
In the video making the rounds on social media, Pastor Ibiyeomie said;
“Carry your blood money and get out, it is not good, If it’s that kind of money you have, carry and go to another church. This church will be rich. You think God cannot supply? Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie has taken to his social media to warn boys to keep off his daughter who just 17 years old.

Update: The young man who was killed by a Slay Queen after returning from Canada is reportedly married with kids
A young Ghanaian lady and Instagram baddie, identified as Safina Diamond, was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death.
According to reports, Safina stabbed her boyfriend who just returned from Canada in the neck and stomach multiple times leading to his death.
More details have emerged as Safina claimed she stabbed the Canada returnee in self-defence.
New information obtained by GhBase alleges that the deceased was married with kids. He came to Ghana on vacation to see his wife and kids and decided to also visit Safina, his side chick.
The case is still being investigated and more updates will be shared as it continues.
She was arraigned at the Adenta Court Complex on Friday, July 28, where she claimed she killed him in self defense because he was attempting to rape her.

Just In: Actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel’s kidnappers have demanded $100k ransom – AGN
The suspected Kidnappers of Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel aka Agbogidi, have demanded the sum of $100,000 for their release.
Recall that Okereke and Clemson, who are members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), were abducted on their way from a movie set in Ozalla Town in Enugu State, on Thursday, July 28.
The AGN national president, Emeka Rollas gave this update while speaking with Premium times, said ;
“The kidnappers have made contact with the families and are demanding the sum of $100,000. We pray to God for his intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst.
We are also working closely with the different security operatives, but we are not sure what to expect from them because the same thing is happening everywhere in the country.”

Gov. Soludo sparks reactions as he joins Anambra indigenes on monthly sanitation
Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has gotten people talking online after he joined the people of his state on their monthly sanitation exercise on Saturday, July 30.
In photos shared on Facebook, the governor did the dirty work and used a shovel to pack dirt out of a gutter.

Yul Edochie unfollows his first wife, May, on Instagram two months after she unfollowed him for taking a second wife
There seem to be trouble in the home of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, and his first wife, May Yul Edochie, as he has unfollowed her on photo and video-sharing platform, Instagram.
This comes two months after May also unfollowed him shortly after he announced news of his marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin, and revealed they’ve welcomed a son.
At the time, May expressed displeasure with her husband for betraying her trust and prayed to God to judge him and his new wife.
“May God judge you both,” the mother of four commented under his post.
However, Yul continued to act like all was well in their marriage and shared old videos of himself and May in happier times.
Recently, he also shared a video congratulating May and their son after they bagged an endorsement deal.

Moment Peter Obi received a resounding welcome from congregants after his presence was announced at Dunamis Church (video)
A video showing the moment the presidential flagbearer of Labour Party, Peter Obi, received a standing ovation and resounding cheers from members of Dunamis Church in Abuja has been shared online.
The former Anambra State governor attended a service held at the 100,000 seat capacity church founded by Pastor Paul Enenche on Friday, July 29, and was given a warm reception by the church leaders.
During the service, Pastor Eneche’s wife, Becky, took to the pulpit to announce the presence of the presidential aspirant.
“And we also have tonight, Mr Peter Obi who has joined for the service this evening,” she said.
Immediately his presence was announced, the congregants went agog and jumped to their feet while giving a roaring welcome to the politician.

Meanwhile, the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima, has said Peter Obi can only become President in Igboland, not in Nigeria.
Shettima, a former governor of Borno state, said this in an interview on Channels TV Politics Today programme on Friday, July 15.
